1921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 09, 2022, 01:45:45 PM
Sorry, but it can't be possible and is not suitable for all traders. Remember that not all traders have a future in Futures Trading, they preferred to do spot trading as it was easier and less risky.

I think we are opposite to each other because I love Bitcoin and I keep this coin as my trading pair, not these shitcoins.
We are here to make money - it was right. And we do trade in the way we think we are comfortable, not in a way to become miserable.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: December 09, 2022, 11:35:59 AM
Well the price of one BNB coin right now is $290 so I do not see why it will not hit the mark of $300 in 2023. This is only $10 more and when the 'bull rush' begins I think we will see much higher than just $300.
If the price of one BNB coin was almost $301 less then one week ago I think this will be a good sigh if you are hoping for a target price of only $300 each coin. This is a good coin to hodl.

I think OP hasn't checked the market price first before posting this and never see that the price of BNB is very close to $300, a few more pumps it will be there already.

Anyways, the majority of us voted for it. $300 is not impossible, even $500. The only thing we never know is when it comes and we only just assume it happens next week, next month, or next year. Well, we know that Binance keeps on growing and they can lift the price of BNB easily as long as they wanted. Perhaps, they can manipulate the market but they never did it.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: December 09, 2022, 10:41:04 AM
In this case i said that its possible we see huge pump in Dogecoin because the supporter of Dogecoin is very strong and they work very hard so its high chance Dogecoin pump soon and the Elon musk already say that they work on Dogecoin and he is interested in this coin and many people hear this news so they invest in this coin so its possible we see the huge pump.
They are not working hard, they are just waiting for Elon Musk to hype this project again but I doubt if this will happen.
Though I know that Dogecoin still gains support from some investors, however, it was not the only thing we consider to see the price will pump high.

Did Dogecoin place some significant role in the market? Well, I don't think so and this is one reason why many investors neglect to support this project. But on the other side, I'd never think this coin will die and of course, price increase is also possible during Bullrun but not like those days where Elon Musk shilled it.
1924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Mobius Prediction Bitcoin could hit $10k at 2023 on: December 09, 2022, 09:22:29 AM
Everyone can make their own speculations but we never think this could be in real and usually, it went wrong. I foresee that 2023 is not bad as it was today but rather see the market shows some pumps as we are about to prepare for the next halving. Thus, the price of Bitcoin reaching $10k is out of my radar, I predict this will reach $30k.
I'm very optimistic about next year as we are done and tested by these FUDs already this year. I think it was enough for the bear season, people had suffered so much and next year will be the time to reward holders.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 09, 2022, 02:42:31 AM
Close game between the Heat and the Clippers. Bam playing really well with 29 points already with half a quarter left to go. PG13 trying his best to keep the Clippers in the game. Ideally I would have expected Clippers to win but the Heat playing at home seems to have taken the edge.
PG13 is leading the LA Clippers but the Heat are still ahead. Bam is having a great night, he is also leading the Heat in this game. With few minutes left, it's not yet certain who will win as we've witnessed a game yesterday when the Jazz steal a win in a game that suppose to be a win by the Warriors.
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 09, 2022, 02:19:35 AM
Here is my bet for today:

San Antonio Spurs vs Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets  (7-17) will face the San Antonio Spurs (6-18) tonight at AT&T Center. The San Antonio Spurs is underdog @2.09 and Houston Rockets @1.78.
Key injuries for Houston Rockets : Kevin Porter Jr (knee), Jae'sean Tate (ankle)
Key injuries for San Antonio Spurs : Keita Bates-Diop (foot), Doug McDermott (ankle), Jakob Poeltl (knee), Josh Richardson (ankle), Jeremy Sochan (quad), Devin Vassell (Knee)

I'm going to tail your pick on the Houston Rockets ML, Kevin Porter Jr is amongst the starting line up, so he would really be vital for them tonight, I would have taken the ML regardless if wasn't going to play because Jalen Green can also surely lift the team without Kevin Porter Jr's availability, so having them on the floor together is even better, while San Antonio Spur still have their worries about the players the can count on available for the game.

With what is happening with the Spurs now, I would do the same since I already have no confidence in the team even if they are hosting the Rockets here. Hopefully it's going to be an entertaining game, so far, the scores are very close so let's see.

Green and Porter Jr. are the young superstar that makes the Rockets exciting to watch, so no reason to bet against them against a weak Spurs team.

On the other hand, Spurs could also win this game as they are so desperate to win since they are in a long losing streak already. More inspired playing at home, so it could go either way. As of now, it's still close and already in then 2nd period. As expected, Porter and Green are the top performers of the Rockets, but Spurs Johnson and and Jones are doing pretty well too.

1927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: December 08, 2022, 10:32:02 PM
Trading ideas is not the same from different people. You read some thread and you get the advise not to involve too much money on trading because of risk of losing and the other is telling you to do that to get profit more. It is knowledge and training that a newbie need to overcome this issue and challenge. Trading is not easy because it involves loses.

Trading is not for all people. And using big capital is definitely not advisable to newcomers.
And the OP stating that one should earn at least $10k a week is also not true to most people.
It depends on where you are living because that $10k, it is already a month's wage or better yet less than that amount of most people.
Much better if you can equip yourself with trading techniques, tips and tricks using small amount of money.
You can increase your trading funds as you get comfortable with this activity and you feel you are ready to face some challenges in trading.
If I have $10k weekly, I'd never put this on trading alone but also to spread in other forms of investments. But many people never think about it as they simply believe those who keep spreading false information like earning huge profits from trading. They might be for experts but this will surely never happen to newbies. I can see the big difference between newbies and those who are in trading for many years; profit earnings, strategies, decision-making, etc. Many newbies often make mistakes because of their behavior and market  approach and that is something they need to change otherwise.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 08, 2022, 09:19:02 PM
Banks assumed that the existence of Bitcoin will hurt their business and lessen their income once people adopt it. I can't blame their claim as well as for sure it will affect their income but they should not have to spread negative about crypto and sell their black propaganda just for the seek of their benefits. And the more they are throwing negative about Bitcoin, the more people got interested in it. However, I don't think that it makes the banking system end which gives them some worries, fiat money will still exist for many years, and their business continue to operate.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 08, 2022, 12:16:53 PM
With regards to the alleged cheating told by referee Padilla about helping Pacquiao to win his match against Nedal Hussein. I've watched an episode of KMJS a popular magazine show here in the Philippines. He said that he didn't feel anything about cheating there and it's not on him because he's just doing his job as a boxer. Whilst for Hussein, he's got some feeling that he's been cheated and as well as Manny. He's not blaming Manny on it but the referee himself, well, both have moved on already from that issue.

It will not change anything though, Manny still our favorite boxer as he brings honor to our country, as a referee who has a clean conscience, he should have expose that early. I'm just curious, after how many years, why did he expose it now? What's his intention on doing that?
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 08, 2022, 12:09:16 PM
I'm thinking of making a parlay bet, with 2 leg parlay SMB and Ginebra, the odds is 1.600. I think that's still attractive IMO knowing how good SMB and Ginenbra. How you guys? What do you think about that parlay, is it risky or the odds are not good?

We will really never know if it's risky or not until we actually placed a bet on it.

The moment you think it should be a good bet, don't hesitate next time and face the risks. Smiley

But regarding the pre-game decision, I'm also hesitant if SMB will win Game 1 although if we talk about the Best-of-3 series, they should win that series. Converge defeated SMB during the eliminations but with no June Mar Fajardo and Terrence Romeo for SMB. Converge is known for upsetting other big teams but maybe it's just that they are new to the pressure of being in the Quarterfinals.

If Questat bet on that parlay, he would have won his bet as SMB and Ginebra dominated their opponents, they even have covered the betting spread. This two teams still has a shot of winning the championship, but IMO, Ginebra has the advantage since the crowd always played a big factor.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 08, 2022, 09:39:59 AM
As a newbie who has a little knowledge of cryptocurrency but much interest in purchasing bitcoin for a long time Hodl, since the purchasing capital is not included in my spendable budget and the price of bitcoin is not very high at the moment 16k, what should be my fear?

Pls, advise me.
You should allocate funds for this, that is the first thing you need to do.
And never think about fear but rather make yourself aware of the risks and possible losses. In other words, make yourself ready for whatever even happens upon investing in Bitcoin. It was to note that investing in Bitcoin never gives you a profit instantly which is why you also need to learn how to be patient.
The more you understand the nature of the market, the more you conquer your fear and negative thinking. And the last thing is that - never spend too much on this as it was not wise to put everything as a beginner.
1932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: December 08, 2022, 08:18:14 AM

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?
...

Maybe you should also propose a motion for them that , you'll do the investment for them, but they will bear 100% of the risk while you split the profit 65/35 and watch their response.
If I'm in that position and the one who put capital and carries the 100% risk, I won't agree with the 65/35 sharing. I'd rather go for the commission basis like giving him 5-10% of the total profit. That I think it was fair for both parties as the person who manages my fund will not lose any to whatever happens to my investment.
But for me, I'd rather not use their money but to encourage them to learn themselves as well so they will know how this investment works and the risks. So, they can't put blame you OP if they will their money.
1933  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie how can i invest in Bitcoin on: December 07, 2022, 10:23:30 PM
Everyone can invest in Bitcoin the the proper time to invest is in bear market and that's now ongoing the bear market. You also need some technical analysis so that you can make entry and exit at the perfect time. Proper technical analysis will help you to know about the perfect investment period in Bitcoin.
Regardless of what your technical analysis is, one can not really predict what exact time is the best entry time, bear market is a good period to buy bitcoin but then what will happen after then one can not tell. But entering the market at the right time may be a good motivation to stay ahead of the risk and uncertainty of the market compared to those who might Bitcoin at high price around the all-time high price.
What is most important is to buy Bitcoin and having them stored in your own wallet and hold it for a long time around 2 to 3 years minimum and you will have an increased percentage in profit making.
Though we never know when is the perfect entry time. However, carrying the known words "Buy low and Sell high", I think we already have an idea of when to buy and it is probably during market corrections (bearish period). Yet, investment never just stops there as we never know as well when it pump that is why it is also a need for us to learn how to hold and learn to extend our patience as these are the tools to help us gain more profit.
Perhaps, it was easy to invest but the problem is how to become patient especially when we are easily influenced by these FUDs and market declines.
1934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Approaching $17000 on: December 07, 2022, 09:44:33 PM
Today the market is dropping again so it should drop below $17k to around $16800, if we think positively then this is a good opportunity to buy, I'm sure tomorrow or a maximum of 3 more days the price will return to $17k so it's around 2% profit .
This is a correction taking place in bitcoin and it's still in its natural stages to see its price drop to $16,800 from its previous price of $17k. But if the price continues to drop and even reaches $16k or even $15k, it's probably a big correction happening to bitcoin and we can only be patient. It could be a golden opportunity to buy more bitcoins. Yet again, bitcoin is getting tested to survive and can still hold up.
It is a test of being patient as well. Those who can endure being patient to wait for the next Bull market will get bigger rewards while these impatient people will get less.
The correction still continues, with no signs of recovery but what we see is only a usual price fluctuation and later on, it will drop back again. I'd never thought that this December will show big rallies, I could not expect it until the time the FTX issue is over. I'd still see that Bitcoin will never surpass $20k this month.
1935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 07, 2022, 03:41:23 AM
Good thing he realized that he cannot handle powerful punches anymore, but Donaire is always better than him because although it was clear that he can't carry the punches of Inoue, but still he choose to continue, this guy (AKaho) choose to make excuses and the result was in his favor.
Casimero is really dominating, in 2 rounds we can see Casimero landed clean and strong punch to Akaho's face, it's just unfortunate that Casimero accidentally punch back of Akaho's head, I think it's not that strong too. Actually the fight can be continued even though Casimero get reduction on his point, but I'm pretty sure Casimero will win via Knock Out before sixth round. There's many fights where someone punch their opponent back for one time, but the fight isn't cancelled.

This is really weird, very strange, in boxing these things shouldn't happen, sometimes a blow like that is something that normally a boxer wouldn't stop, I don't know if it's because Akaho felt lost and wanted to do things like that, but that He speaks very badly of him, now what will happen? Will he have to wait for the most convenient result of Inoue's fight? What can benefit Casimero at this time? That is why Casimero must learn to shut his mouth, because sometimes he must swallow his words, now if Inoue beats Butler he may want or not want to fight Casimero, it is something that we are not completely sure of.

Whatever Akaho said, it cannot convince the boxing community that it was an intentional hit in the back of his head. It was very clear that he was already struggling in accepting the punches of Casimero, in the 2nd round, we saw a mismatch fight where Akaho trying to be aggressive but Casimero is well prepared with his heavy counter punches.

My prediction here are as follows.

Ginebra will beat NO (2-0)
Bay Area will eliminate ROS in 1 game
SMB will beat converge (2-1)
Magnolia will beat Phoenix (2-1)
My prediction is almost the same as this one. The only differences that I think will happen are:
Ginebra will defeat NorthPort 2-1
Magnolia will beat Phoenix 2-0.
This might be a surprise (and a bit of a bias since I'm an SMB fan) but we might see them winning against Converge 2-0.
Bay Area will finish this one in one game easily.

We will know the result today on some of the games, we have 2 games today.

Ginebra vs Northport
Converge vs SMB

I was checking the betting odds in my sportsbook but there's no available line yet, anyone here already put their bets on the games later?
I'm curious what would be the spread of the two games.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful where you connect your wallet on: December 06, 2022, 09:41:15 PM
So many scam tricks come out this time and if we don't use our common sense, it is surely we gonna fall into them.
That is why I barely do online communication, especially in telegram and I don't reply to random people messaging me talking about investment, etc. Unless I expect that person to message me.

We have to know that the security of the wallet comes with us, and the way we handle it. If we are too careless, no wonder why we lose control of it and lost our money.
1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 06, 2022, 12:47:04 PM
...unless coach Yeng has found something that will beat the system of Bay Area.  Good luck to him, he is a veteran coach but he has past his prime.

Finding a system that can be used against the Bay Area Dragons should be easy. But the problem is, even if they will found a way, are those ROS players capable to execute it properly knowing almost the entire roster of the Dragons are tough to match with?

Even if Coach Yeng is still in his prime, there's a big difference between his players and those Dragons players. For the system to be effective, players should also be capable of doing it. They are totally mismatched with the Dragons and that's a fact. Give Coach Yeng a roster same to those big contenders and for sure he will have a chance of beating this monster team.

Although I believe that you might be right, I still think that the ROS has a chance of beating the Bay Area Dragons. That's just my way of convincing myself and expecting that this fight is not gonna be a one sided game, of course I know how good Bay Area Dragons are, so there's no excitement if I will convince myself that they will just dominate the ROS.
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 06, 2022, 11:54:05 AM

He may be a bad guy for some people, especially to the fans of Akaho but to most of us who are hardcore fans of boxing can appreciate what really has have happened and we can always review the video to see if Casimero really has hit Akaho at the back of his head. I just hope though that they will revisit the decision of the referee and do some necessary actions if it warrants some like declaring Casimero as the winner by TKO.

Have to lock the thread in the next few hours and as usual thanks to all of you who shared your ideas/speculations on this thread but unfortunately no one here makes some money with this fight as it was declared a "no contest".

He does not look like a bad guy because fans are blaming Akaho for being an actor, besides, what is written in the link share was it was accidentally hit at the back of the head, which means not intentional. Casimero will eventually find a great opponent, someone that could fight with him toe to toe until the end.
1940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 06, 2022, 10:57:17 AM
If we want big profits then we have to be patient and make it a long term target, most people are impatient so they immediately sell assets when they see a profit of 10% or less, as long as what we hold is top ranking coins then long term holding will be profitable.
Long-term holding could have some benefits - earning a huge profit is likely possible.
But also, you can't underestimate new coins that usually just pump in short-term (x1000) which becomes the favorite of some investors.
It seems important to know how to assess a certain project to invest in because even though it was belong to the top 10 or top 20 coins in the CMC, we can't assure that holding them long-term will give huge rewards. Unless we invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum as we know the capabilities of these coins for many years.
