Well, best I can take from my GV-R929OC-4GD is 3.5-3.7 K using ultracoin miner. The BEST value. With yacminer 4.5.0 everything is even worse. 14.6 drivers. Win 7 x64.

I use ultracoinminer. It just doesn't start at all with your settings... Are these setiings suitable for it? Or may be this is my main mistake and I should better use yacminer? ))

An R9 290 should get more that 3.5kh/s Rabinivitch, a 280x gets over 4kh/s.
There are loads of orphans when the diff drops, probably why your blocks are not confirming
Around 5.3 - 5.4 with 1100 core. I believe you are not using -I setting? My miner brings HWs witn -I > 10... But with I=10 and core clock 1100 it hashing not faster than 3.7 kH... |

CGwatcher can't restart a PC when Zeus going to SICK state. Even cgminer window can't be closed without USB cable disconnect...

Que pasa!  I mine in solo with my R9 290. Why there are so many rejects? And when I mine in solo DRK for example, each "accepted" means found block - in this case it's differs or what? Why I see 16 "accepted" in cgminer but only one transaction in the wallet?  Btw, is that hashing speed OK for R9 290? I can't find adequate hardware comparison chart or something like that... That incoming transaction remains unconfirmed about 6 hours already - is that OK?.. Wallet is updated to the latest update if any. )  |

Hello! Nice thread to post my problem. ) On my laptop BFGminer 5.0.0 seems working normally itself, but when I try to make it work with cgwatcher 1.4.1 I see this:  . I do use options "--api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1" in my .bat file. Maybe I should also specify a port number there too? |

Anyway I haven't much fun with my X6. It became SICK 4-5 times every day. I tried it on differebt frequency values (from 230 to 258), I tried different COM port settings...
How can I make it run normally?.. Is there any remedy to avoid such a SICKing?..
Do anyone know how to make X6 mine with newer cgminer/bfgminer? When I try to start cgminer 4.3.5, it can't connect to Zeus (there's something about permissions or something like that), bfgminer also can't work normally (but at least it can conenct to the miner...).

Hi guys, I was needed some help here... But then found a reason of my problem... I found once that my bitmonerod.exe won't start (from the .bat file if any - this file is correct, I have double checked it). When I try to start it manually (using the string from .bat file because my path to blockchain is different than default) I see this:  But there is no user with name ric_000, what's going on?.. Well, I deleted p2pstate.bin and poolstate.bin (again...) - and here is the miracle: everything looks fine... Strange coin... |

Guys what are you looking at for alternatives. I really wanted the higher hash, lower elctric consumption. I emailed bitmain about their L1 scrypt miner, and they said, sold out, and will NOT make any more. So, what are our choices for 100+ mhs scrypt asic with around 500w power draw?

Besides, honestly with the price of coin right now its not worth the investment in any mining hardware considering how much it cost.

What is your goal with solo mining? If you are trying to profit from mining, look else where.
Yep, with 25 Th it's better mine at pool - same profit for several monthes (3-4) as if he catch a block... |

Well, I am planning to buy used Lightning X6 without Raspberry and PSU.
I see in “User manual” page at zeusminer.com a section named “ZeusController FOR Raspberry Pi here”. There are two links: “V5.0 4G For Modle B+” and “V5.0 4G X6 series special“. It looks that it’s better to buy a B+ model of RasPi, so which of those two images should I download tu use PasPi B+ with Zeus Lightning X6?

Cloud mining is evil. Better don't do it. "Will never ROI" as they say...  Personally I made a conclusion for myself - SP20, or Avalon4 modules, or... C1? Or Prism maybe... Or better wait and look what will be new S5... But you also can wait during all your life for better miner...  And please, don't be lasy and calculate your profit by yourself using one of many calculators in the Internet. |
