1941  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HOW TO AVOID FAKE CRYPTOCURRENCY APPS on: September 26, 2022, 10:37:04 PM
How to spot fraudulent cryptocurrency apps.

Hahaha, this was debunked pretty quickly!  Cheesy

Quote
-Read reviews

this is probably the only thing that can be considered approximately relevant, and it is very important to distinguish fake from real reviews. Even when it is a highly ranked review source.

Yes. Despite the fact that there is no 100% reliable way to spot fraudulent or deceptive crypto apps, this is probably the only one that can still give relevant results. Reviews, if from reliable sources, provide a fairly objective opinion of the app and are usually helpful in eliminating snake oil that might look like a legit thing but in fact might be nothing more than a scam.
1942  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 26, 2022, 10:15:15 PM
For starters, why claim to be a "no-KYC" casino when you can actually request KYC verification from any player at any time?
But, how did you know that they will request a KYC later on? I don't think you have a crystal ball there to see what can happen in the future. Maybe they really mean it when they say "NO KYC". They are only a starter so they can start like this but if ever they change their policies later on then they better make a proper announcement in regards to that.

This was already mentioned in this thread. I strongly recommended you read their terms of service.

For a new casino looking top build reputation from scratch. Don't you think the NO KYC claim is dishonest and harms people's trust towards your service. When you talk about NO KYC. then there should be no single case of a customer getting KYCed

You have so many paragraphs talking about KYC and AML policy on your terms of service - (archived) and Privacy policy - (archived)

Second, who gives you the legal right to collect any user personal information? What is your company? Where are you registered? Which jurisdiction?
Again they say they don't require a KYC but if they are planning to require it then they need to register their company first in a legal way and obtain a gambling license before they can do those things. Unlicensed sites that asks for a kyc is illegal and should be reported to the authorities if ever we have seen one.

Yes, exactly, which is why I'm pointing it out. An anonymous entity operating an illegal, unlicensed online casino have the legal right to ask KYC information from anyone.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RAM stick question on: September 26, 2022, 08:43:38 AM
I have two RAM sticks in a motherboard, one has 2400mhz speed and the other is 2600Mhz speed will the two RAM sticks work perfectly without hindering the performance of each other either in crypto mining or just using the PC for task work?

Yes, it is possible to use two RAM sticks with different speeds at the same time, but your RAM will work at its slowest speed. In some cases, this may result in compatibility issues, but such instances are very rare. To avoid any surprises, it's best to do a complete test of your RAM with MemTest86 or something similar.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I have a few questions about hardware wallets and metamask on: September 25, 2022, 07:54:17 PM
I heard that hardware wallet can be imported into metamask to use some other network that aren't available on the hardware wallet, is this true? Also..

1. Can I import a hardware wallet into a mobile wallet like metamask?
2. What are the risks involved in doing this?

This is not recommended and I would not do that. A better solution is to create a secondary wallet with Metamask and use it separately from the hardware wallet.
You probably don't need all the coins available on Metamask wallet all the time. Why not keep your main stash on a hardware wallet where it's safe, and transfer only what you need to Metamask?
1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 25, 2022, 05:52:27 PM
About kyc, we have answered this before several times, if you want to find an answer, read other posts, do not ask the same question 10 times

I looked at all your posts carefully, but I can't find the one where you answered these questions:

I believe they had answered the question. And one of the replies even pasted their TOS clause regarding the KYC. I even quoted that clause too.

That's only part of my question, I'd still like to hear the rest from them.

As we know, only regulated casinos and gambling sites have to follow KYC and AML requirements. Euphoriabet.io is an unlicensed and unregulated gambling site. As such, there are no legal regulations in place that require KYC from players, and there is no legal protection of our personal data on such a site. When we share personal information with unregulated gambling sites, there are no guarantees that our information won't be sold to or used by criminals. Unlicensed and unregulated gambling sites are not held to the same legal standards as licensed sites, which means that you can never know for sure what their intentions are, or if they will stay in business. In the end, the choice is up to you, but I personally do not recommend divulging your personal information with unlicensed gambling sites.

Same as the recent example, Qmok posted first, but with wrong data. He got confused about which alt account he was using. Yes, it's a mistake, but one that undoubtedly exposed his alt account.

You made a mistake Trident Protocol proof post check well now check again no match I only have one account please remove the red mark.

You posted the first "proof of registration" with the hitman24 account, and a few minutes later with the amzad00 account. This means that it was not a copy-paste error, but that you mixed up your alt accounts.

Look at these two posts, they are identical. In bounty, some users use previous posts as a sample, they copy that post and then edit it to suit themselves. Ninjastic remembers the post in its original form, which is why such mishaps occur. These two users are not really alts.

It would make sense if it was the other way around, but like I said before, hitman24 posted first. He couldn't copy amzad00's post by mistake.

1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top mistakes of newbies in crypto on: September 24, 2022, 05:34:48 PM
It's important that we look at some common mistakes that people of all experience levels (not just newbies) tend to make when investing. A lot of this advice really isn't specific to crypto investing. The principles here apply to stocks, commodities, or any other type of investment. However, since cryptocurrency is still relatively new and volatile, it's especially important to have a realistic outlook.

The first thing to remember is that there are always risks with any type of investment, and the cryptocurrency market is no exception. So it doesn't matter how experienced a trader you are, if you don't do your research, if you don't fully understand a coin and its value proposition, you will probably lose. Take the time to learn and fully understand what you are investing in. Don't just jump into a coin because of FOMO (fear of missing out). Look beyond the hype and marketing copy, and try to understand the coin's true purpose and value proposition. And once you're confident that you've found a solid investment opportunity, buy accordingly and don't look back.
1951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: September 24, 2022, 04:41:03 PM
Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment?I've been trading options on BTC for about three years now, and I've made significant gains, how does everyone invest?
Of course Bitcoin is the best investment right now. In my opinion, Bitcoin moves on faster than Gold. In a very short time, Bitcoin has set a record as the highest value investment asset. Apart from that, Bitcoin investments are not limited to a certain level. Unlike other asset investments. If you have $ 10 dollars, you can invest in Bitcoin without having to go through the process and conditions that are too complicated. But if you have $10, you can't necessarily invest in real estate.

I don't think there is any easy answer. It all depends on your personal situation and what your long term goals are. You can consider the two aspects: short term, in which Bitcoin probably is the best investment in recent history, or long term, when it might be not that good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. But, I enjoy investing in Bitcoin and it might be something that is here to stay at least for some more years. It has a high value but is still volatile and hard to predict. Only time will tell how well Bitcoin will fair in the long run.

leaving a bad review by not playing on the site just because you were not paid a reward for pointing out a bug is ridiculous, no one forced you to do it, you did it voluntarily

There are so many other questions that I think are much more important than the one you've addressed, and which still remain unanswered.

For starters, why claim to be a "no-KYC" casino when you can actually request KYC verification from any player at any time? Second, who gives you the legal right to collect any user personal information? What is your company? Where are you registered? Which jurisdiction?

You can easily afford cheap mobile phone power bank, but not so for computer. If someone is an active trader, he may prefer to use phone Instead.

You can get an inexpensive budget laptop for a few hundred dollars, which is even cheaper than some mid-range mobile phones. Someone who is an active trader certainly knows how to appreciate the comfort and functionality offered by a computer compared to mobile applications. As far as uninterruptible power supply goes, all laptops are DC powered. You can even use cheap car batteries and, with a cheap adapter, use them to power your laptop for a long time. You don't even need an inverter. The same applies to internet routers.

For a little extra cash, you can get solar panels to charge the battery, and you'll have complete power autonomy.

Hi there sir,

About BTC minimum withdrawal you can withdraw also 1$ if you want, so BTC fee is really low because payment is processed in BTC bech-32.

When I go to the withdrawal page and select Cryptocurrency withdrawal, I see the following information:

Quote
    Minimum Withdraw    5.00 EUR
    Maximum Withdraw    1,500.00 EUR
source: https://www.yas.bet/#/

Therefore, I think that your information is not correct (or the information published on the site is not correct). Either way, I think you should clarify that.

Also these guys are using a free domain?
I mean .xyz seriously? If they aren’t able to afford domain, how they gonna pay for the predictions?

I don't like .xyz domains either, and I don't think it's a good top level domain for business, but I'm not sure they're free. Maybe some registrars offer a promotional price for the first year, but after that I believe they are paid domains like any other.

Moreover OP also don’t care about the replies and suggestions here from Bitcointalk. After creating the announcement thread, the op has went invisible. So waste of giving suggestions here.
And yes this thread needs to be moved to the Marketplace(Altcoins) section, as the site doesn’t accept Bitcoins in any form.

I agree. Since they don't accept bitcoin, this thread is better suited for the altcoins board.
1958  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: September 24, 2022, 09:43:33 AM
Why the hell do you guys restrict users amount to bet?
<...>

I think a lot of bookmakers do this. This may be in response to your consistently winning on certain lines or events, so they limit your ability to bet on those particular games. Although I don't agree with it, especially in your example, where they practically made it impossible for you to bet on those lines.

I think that in such cases, the only solution is to have an alternative bookmaker where you can continue your betting strategy. Just be careful, if you want to continue on another site, you must make sure that they don't share data with each other, i.e. that they don't have the same sports betting provider.

Guys does anyone know how we can extract the multiply btc and free roll history data into an excel format from the website?
Like if we go into history section we can see all the data of previous rolls and its seed. I was wondering if the same can be downloaded in an external file. This is for my own records.
<...>

I don't think that can be done. At least not easily.

I tried to copy the data from my roll history to an Excel spreadsheet. However, it seems that Excel doesn't recognize the data as tabular, so I will have to do a lot of editing and it will take some time. Eventually I gave up on that idea. If anyone knows a simpler solution, I'd appreciate it if they could share it here.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go home with a profit and come back to end up losing a lot. on: September 24, 2022, 07:52:22 AM
When you win big at a casino, it's as if you are on a high. Your mind goes like: Maybe Lady Luck is on my side. Maybe today that one big win will change my life!

Casinos are designed to entice people to gamble. They are meant to make you feel like a winner even if you aren't, and for many people this works. The more fun you have gambling, the more you'll want to gamble, which means that casinos live off of excitement. But if you keep at it long enough, you'll probably lose all your hard-earned money.

The best thing you can do if you win a large sum of money at a casino is to leave as soon as possible. The more time that passes, the greater your odds are of losing everything you won and then some.
