1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just my one cent advice on: July 07, 2022, 10:33:10 AM
Anyone noticing new projects still raising millions of dollars? Mohash and Dynamic for example, I think new projects will replace lots of top altcoins in coming years and my advice to young investors is to find new projects to mix with their portfolio, remember that Matic, Polkadot, Avalnache are once all new projects in 2018/2019..

If new projects are good enough it is not surprising that it can replace obsolete projects, but investing in new projects today is not recommended. If you intend to invest in them then you should do your research and accept the risks it brings as well as the return you expect from it.

Top coins are still the safer choice because they have proven their strength, have products and strong communities, so replacement is still possible but will be very difficult, beware of advertising from new projects.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 07, 2022, 10:19:17 AM
I doubt there are any millionaires on this forum right now. I believe crypto millionaires dont spend time posting on bitcointalk. Vitalik Buterin has an account here, but I think it is abandoned by him. On the other hand, I dont think that millionaires will share any info about their wealth here, because this might be dangerous.

I used to hold NOIA tokens when their price was less than one cent. Selling them at ATH wont make me a millionaire, but it definitely gonna improve my life. I used to hold some bounty tokens and sold the early, but that would only bring me thousands instead of hundreds.
The chances are, if you're a millionaire you won't take the time to post here or in any other forum, I think we'll have a lot of work to do.
Those of you who are longtime investors, I'm sure everyone has missed some chance to become a crypto millionaire.

I used to hold a lot of Raiblock tokens, I don't know if it still exists. At that time I earned raiblock tokens from the airdrop and sold them for only a few thousand dollars, and 2 months later it has increased more than a few thousand times because it was mentioned by Charlie Lee.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: July 07, 2022, 10:07:07 AM
1. Many altcoins will never reach their all time high again.
2. Don't be fooled by altcoin ranks on coinmarketcap because many won't stay in top 20 anymore after we go deep into this bear market.
3. History have proven that many altcoins will be replaced by new ones and that's where huge investors will be making most of their gains in next bull market.

1. Not for Ethereum and BNB, they will most likely hitting a new All-Time high when the crypto bull finally come, together with Bitcoin.
2. I don't think so, most the top 20 coimarketcap coin has proven that they can survive the current bear market that has happening since earlier this year.
3. The top altcoin has been quite the same for the last couple of years, and crypto hasn't been here for so long, so I don't get which history you are talking about.
1. Ethereum and BNB are 2 exceptions that OP didn't mention, after every bear cycle, ETH always hits a new ATH following bitcoin.
2. Ranking is something that can prove the true strength of that coin in the market compared to the rest, the better the coin, the higher the position.
3. The crypto market is extremely harsh, so if you can't change, don't grow, you can understand that you will be replaced with something better. Look at bitcoin, no one has ever replaced it because no one is really better than it till now.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 06, 2022, 03:54:32 AM
if we work totally in airdrop project , many times ita give alot reward than bounty campaign. There alot potential airdrop that may we meet and give thousands dollar.
airdrops also have so many shitcoins, it's 99 out of 100 that you gonna encounter shitcoin airdrops and get useless reward, I think it kinda depends on how you could choose the project.
after all it's always the shit projects that populate airdrops most of the time, currently the high quality airdrops always require some kind of staking like in binance where you are required to stake some amount to get airdrop of a project.
Definitely agree, there aren't a lot of potential airdrops, most of them are scams, trash. Instead of spending time searching for airdorp to make profit, you'd better find another way to make money faster and more efficiently.

Generally, bad projects do not attract big investors, so they try to attract inexperienced investors by using airdrops in order to mislead them into investing in the project. This method is not new but many newbies still fall into the trap
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: July 06, 2022, 03:45:41 AM
There is still ethereum, the best candidate on the market, but there are a number of altcoins that are just as trustworthy as BNB, BNB is also an altcoin worth trusting for its future. However, in a way, it can be said that BNB has not yet been able to compare and replace the candidate of the Ehereum.

You got a good return on your Ethereum investment, so I encourage you to do even better in the future with Ethereum.
1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not profitable anymore, Altcoins like Avalanche / Algorand etc. are on: July 06, 2022, 03:37:59 AM

Conclusion: new tech (Avalanche, Algorand) is king and will replace old tech (Bitcoin) because better tech always wins.

They are new technology improved from old technologies like bitcoin but the thing to say is that they will replace bitcoin.

If you go back to the years 2013-2107 you will see a lot of cryptocurrencies coming out with new technology and they claim that they are superior to bitcoin and will replace bitcoin. 10 years have passed and bitcoin is still there and where are those new technologies. do you know? altcoins will always be altcoins, don't be too delusional it will cause you pain.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 05, 2022, 12:11:12 AM
Within 250? I doubt that. India still have 7 wickets in hand and are not looking like they will collapse like dominoes. Am expecting them to declare after providing a 350+ target which is more than enough instead of 400 runs.
Also, this match has been under Indian control from the beginning and it will most likely stay that way till the end in my opinion.
India is at the backseat of the match now. This test was fully in favour of India until the start of day four. But England has changed the game and they have taken the game under their control today. Surprisingly Indian team got all out in 245 runs. England is going to chase down that 378 runs target easily. Bairstow showing impressive performance in test matches. England will win this match in the first session of day 5 if their batting lineup doesn't collapse.

We cannot call the target of 378 runs an easy target. England lost all their wickets in the first innings for 284 runs. Even though India gave less target than we expected, I would say the 378-run target was enough to win if the Indian bowlers could bowl well. But the bowlers managed to take only 2 wickets in 57 overs. And England's batsmen have scored 4.54 runs per over. If India's bowling does not improve in the first session of the next day, then India will lose in the first session
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 04, 2022, 06:53:21 PM
I don't think Brasil is the biggest favorite for this tournament but they are always in the discussion. They used to have more powerful squad but now they are mid team at best. Neymar is not the ideal leader, they are far away from real Ronaldo and then Ronaldinho era.
England never had an achievement for years, they always say maybe this time but it never happens. I'll probably stick with Argentina this time as I want Messi to finally lift the trophy before he retires.
Wishful thinking  Wink For all his shortcomings, Neymar is clearly a better leader than Messi, and Brazil is clearly a stronger team than Argentina. I do not think that Brazil will become champions (one of the European teams should become). As for England, I would say that they are in the position of Spain before they made the treble (two European Championships + World Cup in a row), I don’t know if they will be lucky this time, but the possibility of this cannot be ruled out.
I am not agreed with you about this here Neymar is never been better than Messi because he is mostly having issues which injuries and never give his best for Brazil he is far from Ronaldo and his other top ranked leaders with this all I am still positive about them in this world cup, but I am feeling Argentina is also having fair chance for this event because they are also in the best shape and their few players are capable to give their best in this event.

After having these two I am going with two European teams which are Germany and France because these two also performing consistently and having few quality players which are able to perform in this mega event no other team is near them, but upsets can happen which already have in past many times.

I don’t agree that Neymar is a better leader compared to Messi. But yes, I have to agree that Brazil is obviously stronger than Argentina.

If we are talking about winning the World Cup I don’t think Brazil or Argentina any of them are going to win the World Cup. The best chance of winning the World Cup is with France in my opinion. They have a squad that was absolutely stacked in the last World Cup as well and this time they have a similar type of squad if not better. So, I still think that Francis is the team that is going to take the World Cup home.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 04, 2022, 06:46:27 PM
With Tottenham bringing Forster as a backup goal-keeper in the team, it means Pierluigi Gollini will join Fiorentina on loan. That means he won't be available in the team next season and offer a loan fee of €8m which also includes a buy option in the deal, let's hope the outgoing goal-keeper finds confidence in his new team and to be able to deliver. Spurs boss, Anthonio Conte is busy strategizing on who to buy next. Tottenham will be playing in the Champions League next season, and Conte have to build up a strong squad, which can be able to win consistently.

Tottenham is doing everything that they can to have a good squad that will be able to perform well in the Champions League. Hugo Lloris is a good goalkeeper but sometimes he makes a few mistakes which cost the team very badly.

Otherwise, I will say he is a dependable goalkeeper. I obviously have some concerns about the defense of Tottenham but as time goes on I think the current management of Tottenham is going to fix that as well. The most dependable part of Tottenham is attacking and I think they will be doing very well to score goals. It will be interesting to see the gold difference regardless of the win-lose ratio of Tottenham.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 04, 2022, 06:39:21 PM
It seems to me that De Jong will be a complete idiot if he stays in Barcelona. Firstly, in Barcelona they offer him a ridiculous salary. Secondly, Barcelona's crisis is far from over and what's the point of wasting your golden years on this club? At United, he will have a better chance of showing himself and continuing to grow as a pro. Given that Barcelona have already considered selling him purely for financial reasons, I would not say that the club treats him with respect and counts on him in the long term.
from here we can know which players only want money and which ones have a great love for a club. Honestly, I really respect de Jong's decision because it wasn't an easy decision, many people also ridiculed him for this decision. In the midst of the financial crisis that is hitting Barca, Barca is lucky to have De Jong who is quite loyal even though he is still negotiating about his salary at Barca.
De Jong has told Barcelona many times that he still wants to play for Barcelona, he has also emphatically rejected offers from Manchester United who want to bring him to Old Trafford. Di Jong loyalty to Barcelona is unquestionable, he is willing to have his salary cut to save the club finances. Barcelona's officials must make big decisions to maintain the club's financial balance, the arrival of Franck Kessie on a free transfer and interest in signing Bernardo Silva from Manchester City further strengthens rumors Barcelona will soon sell De Jong. On the one hand, Barcelona profited from getting Franck Kessie without having to spend money, while on the other hand Barcelona had to lose a valuable asset that was very loyal to the club.

It is actually amazing news that Frankie de Jong is not leaving Barcelona. Obviously, it is not a popular decision. Even his own supporters are not very fond of this decision. I know a lot of people are going to roast him because of taking this decision.

Right now staying in Barcelona for a player like him really does not make any sense if I am being honest. But the club is trying to do better and get better players on the team. I am not saying that Barcelona is going to be one of the best teams in the world going into the next season but Barcelona is going to get better eventually. And de Jong's decision of staying in Barcelona should be appreciated by every Barcelona supporter and also the team.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2022, 06:26:00 PM
Kessie to Barcelona - it's official. I really, really do not understand that club.
He is so average - probably not even that. I cannot understand why a club on a strict budget would waste a big chunk of it on the first free transfer they see.

They will probably lose De Jong - which was a strategic decision. But if they replace him with Kessie and Lewandovski and spend all that money on them - well, it will be another horrible decision from their board.

That's because he is a free transfer and Barcelona is getting him for free. So I don't see any problem getting this player for Barcelona.

https://www.barcablaugranes.com/fc-barcelona-transfer-rumors-news/2022/7/4/23194166/official-franck-kessie-joins-barcelona-on-free-transfer

The contract is going to be valid till 2026. In my opinion, this is a good move made by Barcelona. But if Barcelona had to spend money to get this player then they might have had other thoughts. And as far as I am concerned about getting Lewandowski I still don't think they should spend so much money getting a player who is older.
1952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to cash out crypto payment on: July 02, 2022, 04:03:52 PM
If they can pay in USDC to the customer, this means they are using cryptocurrency. I think they can also help you convert to other anonymous coins before transferring the payment to you. For example, a highly anonymous coin like Moreno, it is a completely anonymous coin if you don't want your information online. Try talking to them.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: July 02, 2022, 03:33:32 PM
For now I prefer BNB over ETH, about 2 hours ago I sent tokens from ERC20 worth $24, and gas costs around $3.8, of course this is cheaper than the beginning of the year which could reach more than $30 to send tokens, but it is still 80x more expensive than if we send tokens from BSC.

People like BNB mainly because it has cheaper gas fees than ETH.
In terms of technology, ETH is far superior to BNB if you take the time to analyze these top 2 altcoins. ETH is much more decentralized and secure than BNB, BNB is a clone of ETH and because of cheaper transaction fees and faster speeds sacrifices somewhat of its own decentralization.

In terms of investment, both are good and worth long-term investment, ETH is not too strange since it is one of the first altcoins after bitcoin and BNB can see that it is not inferior to ETH when it is backed by the world's largest exchange Binance and is preferred by investors because of its cheap and fast gas fees.
1954  Economy / Reputation / Re: Iranus - Changed hands or not? on: July 01, 2022, 08:27:51 PM
I am not a regular poster on the gambling section, what if I start posting in the gambling section now? Will you consider this account to change hands in case I am forced to make a post on the gambling section due to the signature campaign?
Changing the password or posting on the gambling section doesn't prove the account changed hands. Need more solid evidence to tag the account.

Before 2021 I never post on the gambling section, But after that 100% of my posts were on the gambling board, lol.
Nowadays I also try to make posts on Bitcoin & Altcoin section cause it helps me to stay up to date about the crypto world.
When I applied for the Stake Signature campaign they told me to make posts on the gambling section for at least 1 month then they will accept me.
I think it's a very simple reason people changes habit cause the maximum of the campaign is Gambling onboard nowadays.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX Is Buying Fallen Unicorn BlockFi for Mere Pennies: Report !!! on: July 01, 2022, 01:29:19 PM
IMO, I believe that the FTX team is not that dumb to acquire a not performing company like BlockFi without any practical reason, it means that the FTX team has seen an opportunity for BlockFi to integrate into a larger ecosystem like FTX in that case let us give them the benefit of the doubt for that big decision and let us wait what will happens next.

Sam is a very smart guy, this is not a rescue but a takeover. He certainly saw the potential of blockFi, this acquisition will help FTX grow stronger and will be a direct competitor to Binance and coinbase.

$25 million is too low a price compared to BlockFi's $4.8 billion valuation in its most recent funding round. IMO, this is a very difficult deal to make at such a low price.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: July 01, 2022, 01:14:19 PM
I choose both investments, I believe I can save eth and bnb coins in the long term, these two coins in my opinion are very valuable assets, so I plan to save eth coins and bnb coins for my assets in my old age.

It is better to pick both and don't think about which one is the best, because I think that will take quite a bit of time. In actuality, these are the two best altcoins, their potential is almost identical.

Of course if you don't have too much capital you can invest one of the two, but if you have a lot you should choose both. This diversifies your investment portfolio and increases your odds of making big profits in the future, as both altcoins are bound to rise, although which one will rise stronger is still unclear.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: July 01, 2022, 01:06:31 PM
I personally would rather keep it for a certain period of time than trade. Volatile market prices make many traders fall and this is not very good actually for beginners. This kind of thing is more risky if you still do not fully understand the momentum or are taking advantage of the situation.
I still hold some alt now like BNB, ETH and some other coins but I am more willing to wait than I am to trade because I know my own capacity.

Since the market is volatile and the downtrend is still very clear, I would also choose to hold rather than trade at this time. If you wish to increase your coin holdings, you may stake them or look for other sources of income to buy them. Short-term holding may not bring you profits, but if you persist in holding for the long term, you will be rewarded more than you think.
Lock your coin in staked wouldn't in my recommendation as the market was too volatile even for top alts. You are more likely to lose if the downtrend continues and the stake reward for short term isn't enough to cover it. Hold in fiat and wait when the top alts like BNB, ETH and other coins you like dip to DCA in. You get more by doing this if you really plan to hold in long term.

Holding in fiat?. How do you hold fiat when all your coins are holding down more than 80% in value, you will sell them at a loss of 80%?
I mean if you're holding the coins and you don't sell them all in time and you're still holding them. As well as continuing to hold them during the bear market, you can stake them with the aim of increasing the coin count.

In the present situation, DCA is great if you still have cash on hand.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 30, 2022, 07:31:52 PM
Milan have missed the opportunity of signing Gabriel Jesus as he is officially an Arsenal player from now on. Their search for a striker is still going on and I wonder if they will manage to bring a solid one like Gabriel Jesus to the team. Next season is going to be very challenging for them in the Serie A and the Champions League both. They need to consolidate their squad as much as possible to have a decent season. It is going to be difficult for them to win the Serie A championship twice so they should get prepared well.
Challenging ? Do you think Gabriel Jesus would have been a better player than Divock Origi ? Zlatan Ibrahimovic ? Yes Zlatan is injured but I believe he would continue a season with AC Milan.
From time, Gabriel's agent has always has aired some talks about he's client playing for a club in the premier league.  Also been close to Arteta must have made the deal easy.
I believe Ac Milan will make with into the Champions League and play very well. Ibrahimovic may likely sign an extension once he returns from rehabilitation center.

Gabriel Jesus is not a bad player, he is talented enough. But it is foolish to compare Gabriel Jesus with Ibrahimovic. Ibra is an extraordinary player. Also, Divock Origi and Jesus seem to me to be players of the same quality. And so I don't think Milan has suffered a loss without Gabriel Jesus. Milan is still strong enough. And Milan still have the potential to win the Serie A title next season.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 30, 2022, 07:26:23 PM
The reason why PSG are willing to sell Neymar now must be his performance related. He is getting injured very often also but I don't think that it's the only reason. I think that it would still be good for the team that sign Neymar now. Teams like Chelsea and Juventus are also after him as it seems. I would like to see him in Chelsea's squad actually as I believe he would be nice for the Premier League. Chelsea are a good team for him too as he can show his skills well. But he would cost quite much for them so we will see if they will still be willing about this.
Whatever the reason PSG threw away Neymar, of course, raises a lot of question marks for all of us, because so far Neymar has never been rumored to be leaving nor having problems with PSG's management, but after mbappe has great authority at PSG now it seems PSG are starting to look for ways to get rid of Neymar from the squad, now it seems like it will be difficult for other teams to sign Neymar because maybe the price set by PSG will later be very high, besides that Neymar also has a fairly high salary so far at PSG and other teams will rethink to sign him considering his age now.
I'm really surprised by PSG's decision to kick Neymar.  Neymar's performance with PSG is not too bad.  I see, at this time PSG already have material that is very extraordinary, it's just that they don't have a coach who is commensurate.  PSG officials should focus more on finding a coach who already has a classy track record, like Zinedine Zidane.  The presence of a great coach like Zidane will of course be able to reduce the selfishness of the star players and will make the dressing room calm.

I don't see any reason to think that Neymar's performance at PSG is good. Since joining PSG, Neymar has spent most of the season injured. During his time at Barcelona, Neymar has averaged more than 30 La Liga appearances each season. But in Ligue 1, he is not able to perform in 20 matches. Since PSG has spent a lot of money to get Neymar in the team, I would say that PSG could not benefit from Neymar's performance.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 30, 2022, 06:14:02 PM
Age is not really the issue in that case. Benzema is 35 years old and we have seen him do wonders this year. I am not saying that every single 35 year old would have their peak performance season of course, but if Zlatan could play at 40+ and if Benzema could be top la liga and UCL scorer in a season, then I believe Boateng could play very well too. If he ends up not having best of the seasons and ends up with a bad year, then I believe that would be more than just his age that creates the problem, it would probably just him not taking care of his body and not training as hard, because if you do, even at 35 you could be great and it has been proven.

At 35, not every player has the physical strength and willpower to work as hard as he did previously. So, I am not going to be surprised if his performance dropped a little. But that cannot be an excuse for any player to perform badly. If he continues to do really hard work he is surely going to find success. It is true that he will not have a team like Real Madrid to help him but he is not going to do too bad either.
