1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 18, 2022, 04:41:57 PM
I'm not a gambler, I can play poker sometimes, but I have a few friends who are into football betting. And I think they all end up losing more than they bet. That is, their mathematical expectation has been wrong more often than not. So I realized that it doesn't matter if the odds are high or low. I guess you have to be a great professional to be able to beat the casino.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: June 18, 2022, 02:03:34 PM
You should have made your decisions much earlier. It is definitely not worth selling anything now and HOLD is the best strategy. Now you should buy the coins you have left from the bull market or buy new ones, because the price is very attractive now and the bears may soon be replaced by the bulls. Patient investors will be rewarded.
1963  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 18, 2022, 08:15:29 AM
It seems though that we have a glimpse on what is going to happen this June. One of the worst as we have seen near capitulation again (I still think that the price can still go below $20k). Others say it has something to do with the Celsius collapse or the Feds raising the rate hike again. Nevertheless, this is a golden opportunity, bitcoin at a discount? Take his opportunity to buy more.

I also believe Btc could still go below $20k. At some point Btc touches the $20k level already. However it manages to bounce back and currently trading at $21k.
Well, Bitcoin is already in a huge discount now. I am thinking some people are either afraid of this correction or waiting to find the bottom.
The reason behind the current price of Bitcoin may not matter as this will be an opportunity to accumulate.

I think the bottom is in. Bitcoin is historically oversold and underpriced.
Waiting for 13k is probably going to leave you behind...

Below $20k for me is the best opportunity, as we have seen it in the last 4 hours. $ 19,170, and we have reach the lowest low now and the possibility to go down even further.

Just things to ponder, $13k might be the final bottom, $15k-$18k, as well is another golden opportunity. But I'm not going to wait, every dip Ii'll try to buy as much as I can and then HODL.
I also think we have had a good opportunity to buy bitcoin for a long time now and if it drops even lower, for example to 15k, it will be an even bigger success. But I think it's kind of strange that we're being allowed to buy now. Usually there was always a panic, a sharp drop in price and then a rise. Now there is no strong panic, they allow us to buy regularly and then slowly lower the price again. There is a feeling that MM has completely different targets for the price.
1964  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 18, 2022, 07:32:39 AM
Every time I see the numbers 20k, 15k, 13k, I don't believe in that bitcoin price. But now bitcoin is already worth almost 19k and it only needs to drop 30% to reach 13k. I guess it's not as fantastic as it looked a month ago. Now we just have to hope the price doesn't fall even lower. Surprisingly, altcoins are not reacting much to bitcoin's continued fall right now.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin in trouble? on: June 18, 2022, 05:33:47 AM
I don't think DOGE could be in trouble because of Elon Musk. Most likely any altcoin is in trouble right now because of market decline, so DOGE will not fall more than other coins. Well Musk has had a lot of complaints for a long time now, and DOGE is the easiest of them all. In fact, it wouldn't be a bad thing to hold him accountable.
Doge and Elon Musk? They are certainly in big trouble because of encouraging people to invest with this meme coin. It is so many times that Elon Musk hyped Doge and many people got tricked also, several times they fall giving losses to the investors. I think it was enough for them, I hope this is not just a rumor but it is supposedly the time to stop Elon Musk from participating in crypto and promoting Doge. They actually not helping anymore but sadly, a reason for losses.
Neither DOGE nor Elon will have any problems because of the shilling and the pump. You can also blame CNBC for telling people how to buy Ripple at $3 at the peak in 2017, after which the price dropped 10x. Elon is a manipulator, no doubt, but he did not commit any crime by talking about DOGE on twitter. It is your choice to follow the tweets or not.

1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: June 17, 2022, 10:26:28 AM
Of course buying any, even the top altcoins now is very risky, but what you say that some coins will be lost from the top is not true. Just look at LTC, XMR, XRP, they have so far survived similar bear markets and have large capitalisation. So if you look at the maximum risk/reward, you can buy time-tested altcoins.
1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: June 17, 2022, 09:11:47 AM
Indeed, not all investors have the same goal when the market is red. There are typical investors who still want to get profits in a short time with minimal risk. With the sluggish market conditions, the short strategy can be a solution for investors who still want to make profits even though the market is red.
Perhaps short-term investing could be called a game of one-armed bandit, where you either get lucky or turn into a long-term investor, although all you wanted was to make a quick profit. Catching red knives is even more dangerous than just investing and waiting, because if you panic, you will probably make a mistake and lose your money.
1969  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2018 vs 2022 on: June 17, 2022, 07:01:21 AM
really looks like mate!, wow this thread is really amazing, I appreciate this Bitcoin prediction,
if you look at 2018 it's also the same, Bitcoin price has dropped to $20k just like what you speculated,
hopefully this is the last bottom Bitcoin, let's go Bitcoin to $50k again!  Grin
Panic has happened, but not as much as it was in 2018 and 2020, because there were large volumes then, and there have been no such volumes in the last few days. Likewise, there has not been a lot of buying now, which usually happens after a sell-off. There is also a big increase in bitcoin inflows to exchanges right now. There is likely to be more to come.
No, it won't happen like 2018 it will be very different from the current year the drop is now maybe $20k or below a little more the rest will not be as basic as 2018 for me predictions it won't happen.
I know there are more panicking than buying now but panic is not going to calm them down but my guess is that more people will stock up from now on to buy lower.
I'm sure some will be ready to buy from the bottom for the coming days and we'll see bigger volumes from this increase.
I think we may soon see the final panic, after which there are always large volumes of buying. Until such volumes appear, the fall in price may continue. Also note that bitcoins continue to flow into the exchanges, which are probably being moved there to sell. Another important indicator is the market capitalisation of Tether, which is declining rapidly, which may indicate that USDT is being moved into cash.

1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 16, 2022, 11:14:21 AM
You can't win on gambling you can only try, casinos are not created to make money for players, it was created for people to have some fun, and have some entertainment after a hard day's work, you don't plan to deposit with a plan or hope to double your money, it's not going to work the house edge will bust your effort and expectation, just play on casinos what it is intended to be and that is, have some fun, if you win, withdraw it and treat yourself, then tomorrow its another session.
Absolutely agree with you. It's impossible to win when you're playing against a casino. You can only take part in the game. This business has been around for a very long time and there is a very small percentage of people who have been able to make money from gambling. So all we can do is play for fun. I'm sure it's impossible to make money from betting on sports, let alone casino games.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: June 16, 2022, 08:50:41 AM
Now the market is down, there is a big opportunity to buy Ethereum or Binance Coins because in the future the price of large alcoins such as Ethereum and Binance Coins will skyrocket.
if you are currently holding ethereum coins, don't sell them because the prices are cheap, hold on ethereum coins, don't panic because the prices are going down.
I remember when Ethereum went up to 1.5k and dropped to $60 in just a few years. And now there is no guarantee that the same story won't happen again, although I agree that it probably doesn't make sense to sell your coins now. Because if bitcoin has finally bottomed out now, then altcoins should at least bounce back.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2022, 11:13:43 AM
I see that Turkey are going on very determinedly in their league now. However it is completely normal as well because their group is full of piece of cake opponents like Luxembourg, Faroe Islands and Lithuania. They shouldn't stumble in any of the games remaining as well. I don't even understand how a team like Turkey can be in the League C now. They had a really bad period before. I know that and I hope they don't relegate to this league ever again after promoting to the League B.
It's just that Turkey took these competitions seriously after almost missing out on a chance to qualify for the World Cup from a not-so-difficult group. But even now they have ridiculous opponents and it would be a shame to lose to them. Although, France are in last place in the group and are not too worried. It all depends on willingness or unwillingness to play.
1974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 15, 2022, 10:25:49 AM
And way down we go, we're steps away from going below $20.000 (Bitcoin currently trending at $20.230 as we speak) while Ethereum at $1.030. As I've mentioned earlier, we haven't seen the worst yet, and it's bound to crash even further. In my opinion, the following winter will be a hard one, inflation has skyrocketed, the war isn't coming to an end while fuel and electricity will cost a fortune. On top of that, the cryptocurrency market is likely to follow trends of the 2017's crash for many months to come, if not years.
I'm not sure if the recovery will take a year or a few years. It is more likely that in a few years there will be another big drop after the recovery (not necessarily that ATH will be reached). Big drops were in 2018, 2020 and now 2022. Also note that after such falls there was always an immediate recovery process.
1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 15, 2022, 08:40:07 AM
There is a huge panic going on in the market right now, and this is a huge opportunity for many who are not afraid to buy bitcoin while others are afraid. I don't think everyone will be able to buy at 13k because that price probably won't happen. in 2018 and 2020 we also expected bitcoin to drop to 1k after 3k, but it didn't happen. Probably won't happen this time either.
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom is almost in on: June 14, 2022, 06:09:10 PM
When I saw the price when I woke up I remembered your previous post, so will the bottom be the 200 Weekly Moving Average at about 21.8 or 50% of the 32K (Hash Ribbon Indicator).
What I mentioned in that post is last time when capitulation appeared on the BTC chart in 2018, price went down 50%.
However, 200 WMA is what I consider a bottom. But let's see.
Bitcoin just touched the 200 MA today, so it is likely to be a real bottom now, but there are slight doubts about how the S&P will behave, if it continues to fall, bitcoin will probably change the classic pattern of behaviour that we have seen in times of fall.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 14, 2022, 09:43:09 AM
The fall in cryptocurrencies has a huge impact on all users, whether they are traders, investors or gamblers. Imagine you have a deposit in litecoins, which is about $1k. But when litecoin falls by 30%, your deposit turns into $700, and you haven't bet or played casino yet. I guess when the market drops, it's better to use stablecoins.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 14, 2022, 08:40:37 AM
France never ceases to amaze in these competitions. They have not won a single match, drawn twice and lost twice. I don't know how they are going to perform in the World Cup this year, but they definitely need to change something. I understand that no one cares about Nations league, but still the favourites play much better in all groups. I don't believe that France have turned into a rubbish team.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 13, 2022, 04:47:36 PM
France and Croatia meet again and Denmark with Austria. With France in last place in the standings, it's hard to predict the winners of today's matches, but I think France must win today or it will be an shame for them. As for Denmark and Austria, I think it could be a draw.
In the France group he is actually the favorite but after seeing it now It's not what we imagined. Of course, France must win this time not to lose points and not to be transferred to League B.
France were favourites before the start of the Nations League, but now they are outsiders. I don't understand why the losing teams get relegated? What is League B? But I haven't found any information about the playoffs yet. What's the point of all the groups if there is no final winner? Very strange competitions.
