1961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: March 01, 2022, 11:26:17 PM
So, it means that Bitcoin will continue falling or there are chances for its soon improvement?
I won't advise anyone to hastily sell off their Bitcoin because of the raging Russia-Ukraine war. My observation is that it won't make Bitcoin crash. The crash we witness now is correction from technical analysis perspective and not as an after effect of the war. If anything, Bitcoin should gain traction as a safe haven. Prior to this war, we saw how both countries courted Bitcoin. So, I expect their citizens to turn to Bitcoin now to save their money. Again, it's trending how Ukraine is utilizing the blockchain to raise money for the war by way of soliciting donation in Bitcoin. Support in that regard has been massively overwhelming. There should be rush for Bitcoin instead of a dump.
Sorry for those who had sell out early yet the price now is climbing up again which is totally opposite on where most people been anticipating. They should always took up some consideration
on making out decisions on time like this on which its not always be having any effect on crypto market. It doesnt really always count and this should be bare on mind and lucky for those who do
able to accumulate while it is still cheap. Reason for such rise? No one knows on whats behind these increase yet there would be several factors as normal.
Feels that weak hands had already laid down their hands so easily after seeing the red lines.
Well, I'm not going to say sorry for those who sell their Bitcoin earlier as it was their choice but I think, they are now in regrets. It always going to happen that our emotions will give no good results but always bad.

Anyway, we can't assume that all of us here have the guts to hold, many were still living in the doubts that we can't be in surprise why they will sell their coins.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: March 01, 2022, 10:38:45 PM
What you have to realize is that bitcoin or any other crypto currency is closely related to volatility, with that everyone can buy and sell by taking advantage of the ups and downs especially the traders who rely on it for profit.
there is no straight line in every investment and if there are all rich people in it, bitcoin moves up and down which will eventually tend to rise gradually and long term holders and who always take advantage of the downturn to make gradual purchases, and that is the winner who will get rich through long process and strong patience to achieve it.
Bitcoin is just like other investments that has its own risk because the future is still uncertain. But if you know how to take advantage every buying and selling opportunity, you will never experience much of its volatility effects and that the risk of losing in times of downturn is somehow minimized. But one thing is certain, bitcoin will not make you rich overnight, it will take a lot of years before you can say you have beat the tough and rough road to its success and made you rich eventually.
People will take risks if they know they can get something from that investment. And knowing BItcoin will somehow give them HOPE that someday this can make them rich. But, they have to understand first that the volatility of the market will give them a hard time because not all the time the price is bullish as bearish is also inevitable. That is the reality that we consider and think about of getting rich instantly is impossible.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 01, 2022, 01:16:47 PM

But if Bivol will used his face and will not play defense with Canelo, it will be suicide and he himself will get knock out because Canelo's has power in both hands. Unless he has a granite chin that can hold, but I doubt it because this is a higher weight and boxers do really punch hard.

Unfortunately for Bivol he has not faced a fighter like Canelo, and he is a fighter trained to go toe to toe and rely on his power, there's no way to change how he fights, a fighter will live and die on the way he fights, it all goes up now on how hard he punches and can he get his punches to Canelo's face and body and can he avoid Canelo's attack, he needs to bully the bully here.

let's just see what's gonna happen, though we all agree that Canelo will win this fight we cannot underestimate his opponent because he has some power and he is the current champion. We are looking at the next fight of Canelo because we are too excited to see a trilogy with GGG, but he has to take care of the business first, beat Bivol and the trilogy will be good to go.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 01, 2022, 12:52:44 PM

He's really bringing his name high and making his own path, Memphis again, making this franchise very competitive.

Morant is the face of Memphis now, suddenly the team become exciting to watch, and I have no doubt about his talent but I just wish that he will remain healthy so we will always enjoy watching him bringing his team to the playoffs. He is young but he is the leader of the team now.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 28, 2022, 02:53:18 PM
Nets had a great victory against Bucks and I found Seth Curry and Andre Drummond's contribution quite important for the victory. And at the other hand of the trade, 76ers also had huge benefits from this. Harden had a huge triple double in New York against the Knicks. I think 16 assists and 5 steals also are important. And the chemistry between him and Joel Embid. It seemed in these two games that they play like they are teammates for years. It is exciting time in the season because of this trade. I would favor both of the teams in my betting.
I think 76ers won that trade, ever since Harden started playing the 76ers have been winning games impressively, and Harden's production is very impressive as well. Imagine, Harden and Embiid are both contributing consistently every game, that is a huge for the team and they'll become a championship team.
1966  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits Russia on: February 28, 2022, 02:16:05 PM
Obviously, it will happen because other countries are sanctioning Russia, however, I think they already know the effect of the war and they are ready for it. I'm hoping the war will stop but as we are seeing Ukraine is not surrendering and they are fighting until the last drop.

it's not about the economy now, it's about on which country will survive.
1967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 27, 2022, 10:54:47 PM
To have our own strategy is too hard at first as we don't know yet and are afraid if we just lose. That is why we have to see how the others do their trades. Besides, we do watch online tutorials and make use of this to gain some ideas, great ideas, we do some mirroring of what they do. This is the beginning of creating our own and we do this for the sake of wanting to be like them.

It is fact that believing in ourselves, our strategies will drive us to a better result.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 25, 2022, 08:51:40 PM
At this time, if we look into the CMC price chart, we can just see that only Terra Luna had changed to green and moved upward while the rest are still in red lines. I'm not discouraged seeing them in red coz I know that this will sometimes occur even though we don't like it as this is normal due to the fact of its volatility feature.

We can't just lose our hopes easily, we can surpass this sentiment in a given time and that only happens if we have patience left inside us.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bounty Campaign a Sustainable way to grow your Crypto Community? on: February 25, 2022, 08:29:32 PM
No doubtful, bounty campaigns draws a ton of attention to your community and enlighten potential investors about your project. But at the long run, is this development sustainable? Is it reliable enough to grow your project?
It's a marketing strategy for investors who try to sell their project and gain investors, with a bounty campaign, it will help the project to gain popularity so it's really helpful for the community to grow and for people to get aware that the project exists. if it's not effective, then that would have not existed anymore, so I guess in the future we will see more projects getting introduced because there are people who are willing to help spread the news.

Just bear in mind that the community is big, it's composed of crypto enthusiast people with different goals, and that already includes bounty hunters and investors.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 25, 2022, 02:35:49 PM
Those handicaps for GSW, Denver and Boston all are well covered if I get your point right. If anyone managed to parlay those three

the earnings are huge, not just 5 but more than that for sure. Let see if who among our active poster here who managed to take those

and win. Just check the game between GSW and Blazers. I was i the impression that Curry continue his hot hands, to my surprise he only has 18 points,

it's the whole cast of GSW who made the gap so wide.

Including Phoenix Suns. I won three of them but didn't put in a parlay. I just hate it sometimes when I lose 1 of many and it's a close one to cover the spread. That's why I am only doing single bets on team wins right now.

Yeah, Curry was in the mood to be the quarterback for the team while Draymond Green is still healing from his injury and it worked. 14 assists and he also showed some defense with 1 steal (I think it should have been 2 but he didn't get the ball) and 1 block. That's the new Steph for now until their playmaker comes back.

I love what the Warriors did, Curry does not need to score a lot, he just needs to move the ball well and get everyone involved, that way they are move effective and they can easily win. It's been a while since I saw the Warriors dominating their opponent, they are just back here, and hopefully, we will see some consistency going forward.

That's what I noticed in the last several games of Curry, instead of carrying the load, he start with distributing the ball to his team mates, get them involved in the game. So he doesn't need to score more points in they have build a good lead. And with the Memphis on losing skid right now, they solidify their second spot on the West, training the Suns.

Suns and Warriors are in a tight competition on who will take the number 1 spot, but in terms of consistency, the Warriors won on that part. Maybe the Warriors will be unbeatable once Draymond Green returns as they will be fully healthy as a squad, until that time happened, we can't guarantee they'll beat the Warriors at the top.
1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 25, 2022, 01:36:14 PM
Expect what is unexpected, i mean even those countries that don't like bitcoin for sure in the future they will change their mind as well once all country really accepting bitcoin and some use it as a legal tender like what El Salvador did to bitcoin.
Because to be honest bitcoin is already very exposed mate. So i wouldn't be surprised if someday bitcoin becomes very legal in the near future in all over the world. Just saying.
I still have a doubt if they were really wanna change just like China, they like how to control almost everything in their country so I won't be much positive about them if they want to change. Let's just focus on the other countries that has some chances of changing like India or perhaps the other Asian countries since there has been some misunderstanding about Bitcoin to them that's why they don't trust it.

I'm not going to agree to cite that they will change like China. What they did is right, running and accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender in their country is of good intention, I'm not seeing a plan to take control of everything. Might, of course, a change in the mind of their leaders could lead to that way but that seems a less chance, unless there is a hidden agenda behind this adoption.

I'd love to see Bitcoin become a legal tender worldwide but if the purpose is to make it centralized, well, it doesn't make sense.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real? on: February 25, 2022, 12:34:41 PM
Perhaps, so many tried banning crypto but actually, they fail in the end. I certainly don't like seeing this happen to POW crypto projects but there is one thing I could say, real and working projects will survive, the rest will die. As even the government will ban PoW projects, Bitcoin seems to have an exemption because of its real purpose and the benefits that it could give to the community, unlike the others.

I think this weighs much for that.

1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: February 25, 2022, 11:41:33 AM

It is is all under Garcia's camp because he's under the Golden Boy Promotions, but what I meant is that Garcia himself picked Tagoe and not Oscar De La Hoya because that's the work of the promoter to find a match that could be good for his boxers. Garcia have won his recent match against Campbell but he also got ugly because of that fight that's why they need someone to make his name fresh again.
Garcia was tough in his previous fight, though we witnessed how he got knock down but he was strong enough to come back and beat Campbell. For me, I believe that Garcia learned a lot from that experience that's why I expect him to be more careful in his next fight.

But Tagoe is still a mystery for me.
Don't worry about that, Garcia will solve that mystery for you. Smiley
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 25, 2022, 10:59:47 AM
Let's resume betting.

Nets vs Celtics.

No Durant, Irving, and Simmons. These are the big 3 of the team, so it's automatic, I believe that the Celtics will dominate and beat the Nets more than 10 points, I'm taking the spread without hesitation, good luck.

I strongly agree with you and I think the -8.5 spread for Celtics could actually be steal, so I'll be going with that.

I also have the Denver Nuggets -4.5 vs Sacramento Kings.

Goodluck everyone!

The Celtics pick was the easiest, they were dominating the Nets in every quarter and the spread was very well covered in the end. Also, nice win on the Nuggets @Harkorede, that was also an easy one.

@YuginKadoya, you got it all perfect, I think you are hot man, good luck on the next pick.

Eyeing on the Clippers vs Lakers game tomorrow, what's the pick?
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: February 24, 2022, 11:25:37 PM
I don't know which others, when i come first I look at coinmarket cap and learning a detil the coin I want to buy.

My friend ask me, what coin he should buy , but I not really sure for now because I'm entering cryptocurrency 3 years ago. Too many coin right now that make me confusing
I don't know what you are doing with that 3 years in crypto coz I think for that long in the crypto world someone will expect you to better and a knowledgeable person. I suggest telling your friend not to rely on you if you have difficulties in telling which coins are good for investment, you'd rather tell him to do the research personally as well.

What makes you confused is that you are not sure about yourself as well. I might be wrong but to assume that you are not doing well in your previous investment and you are in doubts now if your friend will fail he will turn you back and blame you.
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: February 24, 2022, 10:58:53 PM
Hello i had bought link for 1400euros for price about 31euros per link and now its about 10 euros per link
i wonder should i buy more link or should i go to a safer choise like bitcoin ? or get some ada with 0.67euro per ada ? ada price ATH ada was like 2.5 euro per ada ...

I suggest to stop buying Links at this time as their price isn't showing well. You have accumulated some of them and I think it was enough.
I suggest to buy another coin if you still have the money left for investment as it was wise not just to focus on a single coin, like having 3-5 different coins is really advisable. You already have Link, Ada, you gonna choose another one like BTC, ETH, or BNB for a more secured investment.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weakens at US$ 42,145.35 The Impact of Russia's Conflict with Ukraine on: February 24, 2022, 11:20:31 AM
We do even have able to dip down on $38k once again.Possible reason? Nothing.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-dips-below-38k-as-crypto-sentiment-nears-extreme-fear
A very common or ordinary day that we do have in this market thats why we should be smart on when to get in.
It is likely the result of war, the price now is already $35k and I think this will continue to drop, however, I believe that all these are just temporary as crypto is not fully correlated to what is happening in a certain country. I can only see this as a panic reaction, but people will realize and they'll eventually reinvest.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 24, 2022, 11:01:53 AM
And the regular season games are on again tonight! Brooklyn Nets - Boston Celtics game is the most attention getting one in my opinion. Their win and loss statistics are similar to each other but I won't be saying the same thing for the performances recently. Nets are having a problematic period of time these days while Celtic are doing superb things. Here in this game, Celtics are going to be the closest team to win certainly. But maybe Nets might surprise us and defeat Celtics by a slight gap.
Will KD already available in this game? If he will play then for sure the Nets have a decent chance of winning, also, I like to see Simmons playing with the team already, I guess his vacation is enough already, he need to be in the court and contribute for the team.
1979  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 23, 2022, 02:51:18 PM
As I am writing this, Bitcoin dropped 6.5k this past week. The reason why because of the tensions between Russia and Ukraine. If this didn't happen, the price of Bitcoin would've been at around 46k or a bit more. I'd didn't see this coming and we are still sitting between 45k-30k. So the Bull and the Bear is kind of in a duel right now and the Bull is losing control a bit.
Expect the unexpected as it always be on this way on which there are several fundamentals which could cause these declines but most of the time it would really be in random
basis which you could even hardly recognize on what are the possible reasons behind these big movements but to say that these percentages isnt really that much of
a shocking thing because price could really move into these percentages so better get used to it.

Volatility is what we expect from this market. We can't assume just because of that certain issues between Ukraine and Russia affect the market

or something that related to any economic tensions moves the market, much better to believe in how you understand the market, buy when fear still

hot and sell when you feel you already earn the amount that you are expecting. Keep in mind that there's no accurate information, but most on

your own decisions.

Do not go against the flow, always observe the market situation, when it's bullish then be bullish as well. However, if we are in a bear market, we should always think it as an opportunity to buy, fear has no room for success, you won't be seen an opportunity with that kind of mentality, instead, you'll lose the opportunity to accumulate and make a decent profit when you are gonna sell it at a bull market.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 23, 2022, 11:32:51 AM
After leaving the All-Star event behind, I'm focused on the regular season games again. And the most attracting one for me is Nets - Celtics now. It is tomorrow night and Celtics are the favourite according to bookmakers. And I will give them that as Celtics' recent performance has been much more impressive than Nets. Because Nets are in a phase of making some changes in the team. Until the players have a good agreement with each other, I won't be believing them much. And especially until Durant bounces back. For this reason, I think Celtics will be the winner.
Yeah and add to that the number of injured players for both teams.

For the Celtics, almost everyone is healthy except Marcus Smart.

For the Nets, Durant and Irving are still out while Simmons looks to be still out of playing condition. Good thing the other two signings were ready and fit to play.

Which team will you bet on? Will you bet on handicap? Celtics -5.5 @2 looks good enough.

That 2.0 odds for just a negative 5.5 is a juicy offer since Celtics beat Nets with same roster line up with 35 points in there recent match. I believe they can beat Nets with more than 10 points since there current roster is pretty weak without Durant and other star player. Griffin is not performing good for bench score and they are only relying to patty mills and seth curry for score which both have an inconsistent performance.

Agree with you, we've seen the struggle of the Nest without Durant, so it's hard to believe in them without seeing them improve their games. I guess they'll still lose and against the Celtics which is one of the hottest team now, Celtics will certainly dominate.
