That's a huge profit, I'm not sure if anyone here has been able to make such a big profit. But for early investors in bitcoin, this is entirely possible. I did track the transaction and we have the Ethereum address that the fund was moved to, I told the suspected brother to show me his wallet address because I suspect him and he failed to, I have no proof to show the victim, for now he remains a suspect.
I think you should close your mouth and don't tell your brother who got scammed if the other brother was stole his money because you guys might a problem and it will make your relationship bad. So it's better to maintain a distance and don't really close with the brother who have a bad motive. You should teach or at least give him guide about Bitcoin and wallet stuffs to learn, so this will make him understand if he must not asking other people to create a new wallet for him since each address have a private key which no one shouldn't know except the holder. Not good to shut their mouth because it also mean that he's tolerating the other half who do bad deeds, maybe its good to talk about the issue so that it will be solve on correct argument. If they hide this the anger will just burst if the affected person knows who is the person who did bad to him. Teach him how to safe keep important information is big thing to newbies so teach them again without taking anything will be much ideal action to do. I also agree that in that case, we should keep our mouths shut. There's no need to make a big deal out of it because this will make the relationship worse for both of them and the real amount won't be that big. Just tell your brother (victim) to limit contact with the other and not to trust anyone when it comes to money. Consider this as the first lesson about cryptocurrencies, the cryptocurrency market will have hundreds of times more pitfalls. Teach him everything he needs before continuing to use cryptocurrencies and don't forget to throw away the wallet whose private key has been exposed. |

Hey so im still fairly new to the space, ive been investing for about 7 month now and thought about going to a conference. im not to social of a person but i feel like it would be a good opportunity to just be around the environment. Has anyone been to one? and do you think its a valuable experience?
It all depends on you on how you want to learn about cryptocurrency and the time you can spare for this purpose. As for me, the best way to learn cryptocurrency is online, you can read as many as possible articles and blogs about cryptocurrencies online and also watch some useful videos about the practicals. These will teach you the in-debt of the subject matter in the comfort of your home better than going for conferences that might be for a particular topic, with questions and answers only. I am not saying it is bad to go to conferences, but in my view, conferences should be for the informed people that want to associate mainly. The dedicated learning/training is on the internet, which includes webinars that can perfectly replace the conference. Most of us today tend to learn online because they provide us with quite complete knowledge. But it won't be bad if we take a little time to attend bitcoin conferences because we can meet, exchange, connect with many investors, people share knowledge together, knowledge is very vast sometimes things we would never find on the internet without someone to guide us. But please make sure that the conference is held for the purpose of exchanging, sharing and connecting with each other and not for the purpose of marketing altcoin projects. Scammer get scammed
This remind me of what happened in compound last two months or there about. A boy in my compound was drinking in Ogogoro or Ekaikai (gin) and he met a young guy and this my neighbor approached him to learned learn how to scam people and the boy told him he has to buy some devices to kick start the project. so this my neighbor took the boy to a phone shop (store) and bought a new device for the boy. The following day, early morning my neighbor went to work. And the boy who want to teach my neighbor how to scam packed everything in house and ran away, when my neighbor came from work his house empty. And that was the time he become to realized that he has been scammed and he burst into cry. he was crying and saying that he has been scammed then we asked him how did it happened? and he started narrating what conspired (brought) both of them together. After his narration everyone who heard the story left him behind to face his dilemma. That became the saying of the op topic. Perhaps, it was a common story and it was a very usual thing to happen to realize that we just got scammed too late. - Don't easily trust strangers - stop being greedy - think several times before we decide However, people even forget all of these things, especially when hearing about money and scammers use this technique to trick greedy people. It was really sorry but it was a need for them also to realize their wrongdoings. If you really want to be safe, don't talk too much to strangers, especially if they send you random messages from the Internet. It is best to ignore them in the first place so that our greed will not rise and we won't have to do anything stupid in the future. Since there is always a law of cause and effect that exists, never think of fooling someone to get rich, because the retribution will soon come to us after a while. What a crazy weekend it was with the win from Frankfurt against Leipzig and the draw from Bayern Munich about Union Berlin.
This week they all can show there skills in the Champions League and specialy Leipzig and Leverkusen should be show them .
Maybe its possible that we will see a coach changing after this week if they losing again and the weekend.
I don't know what happened to Leipzig and Bayern Munich, but they played like they were against a strong club from the EPL or Serie A, LOL. We can still forgive the bad results obtained by Bayern Munich, because they have tried very hard to create other goals. They made 33 attempted shots in that match and had 20 shots on goal. In contrast to Leipzig's poor results, they seemed to dominate the game, but they didn't even make a single shot on goal. This Leipzig match looks like a fixed match  This is still rather early in the season, so it's important not to forget that little hiccups can happen even now, even if better things are just around the corner. Some people are just too fearful to give too much importance to otherwise baseless claims and declarations of critics and bitter Bitcoin oppositions. Bitcoin has been pronounced dead many times and Bitcoin is still here today.
Just because Bitcoin is hitting its low in this bear season doesn't mean it's dead. Remember that Bitcoin's low today was Bitcoin's ATH before.
This year bitcoin died at $20k and in the future when bitcoin hits $200k ATH and drops to $100k we will continue to hear news that bitcoin is dead at $100k. The bank is only open during working time (except for some of its features that can be accessed 24/7, but not all aspects can.), and Bitcoin can be accessed 24/7. The bank needs more regulation and Bitcoin is not. In a way, bitcoin is also a bank, our own bank. We can keep and manage our assets on our own, without the need for a third party to manage them, and without having to worry about our assets being stolen or frozen by someone.
But, BItcoin has more than banks can do, Bitcoin is not only a currency but also an asset for high worth investment.
Bitcoin is obviously better than the traditional bank, but sometimes we still need the existence of the bank, can not eliminate the bank completely. When you need money or capital to cover emergency situations, bitcoin will not help you in this situation, but with the bank it can. Scammers are very smart on how to get peoples attentions and they are also smart in inventing new strategies that can be so real to easily convince people . My worries is about beginners who are coming up, and if you make research most beginners in crytocurrency and on social media were once a victim to scammers and till date some beginners still fall for scammers.
To me, the social media would have been the easiest way to fight against scam, to make beginners get aware "the strangers you meet is at own risk ". This can always be in the mind when one encounter a stranger who want to offer free money or do business, one will have to think how real can it be.
Beginners don't get awareness of scam on social media, some mostly get aware of scam with personal experience.
I disagree, social media is one of the easiest platform to get scammed. Social media is a virtual community, you can be anybody you desire. Most times what you see on the profile isn't real. I think if people just use their common sense they would be able to detect the scams from the go. Social media is possibly the most virtual space we have, because it's not real, thus becoming a favorite place for criminals to run rampant. I completely agree with the idea of bitcoin education inclusion in schools because one of the biggest limitations of btc is a lack of knowledge and awareness, lots of folks are not into btc because they don't understand it, they feel it is a bit complicated to learn and understand. If btc is being thought in school at an early stage, it will somehow reduce that limitation and increase awareness about btc and its importance.
Bitcoin is a computer technology, if the students doesn't curious and interested with computer, then I will expect the teacher need to try harder in order to make the whole students interested and will pass the exam. I think a basic computer education like excel, word, powerpoint, and design are enough for average Joe. Bitcoin education is appropriate in University since they're more matured and have better understanding. As you said bitcoin is computer technology, while knowledge about information technology is introduced quite early from elementary school, so why wait until the children go to university to start teaching them? I think bitcoin should be included in the high school curriculum, then they already have enough basic knowledge of the technology and they can continue to explore a more advanced technology. I prefer bitcoin tutorials that will focus on technology rather than investment. Investment should be introduced after they start thinking about finance. |
