the price is cheap now

Cheap based on what?

A price of 50 sat is about right currently.
The coin has not proven itself in any manner. It is working but there are no reviews about the code and the client is fas from being polished.

Mind though, 50 sat gives Qora a market cap of around 2.5 Million Dollar, placing it around position 20 of coinmarketcap and in the vicinity of Monero.
NXT had a similar position at this point of its development, so this is not bad, but appropriate.

Further development and people that work for the coin will bring the price up to about 200 sat. If everything works out fine we will see about 500 sat in a couple of month. Placing Qora at around 25 Million US $.

Though Nxt had unobfuscated code and Come-from-Beyond was encouraging people to decompile and review it, even when it was 'closed source'. Those that did review it reported back it was something new so provided some basis for a punt.

We don't know anything about this at the moment, right?

Well atleast this guy looked into it and did not find any similarities to nxt or emunie.

Cinnicoin is planning some technical innovations that have never been done anywhere in the crypto scene and the price will reflect that.

Can you list them pls?

Has anyone decompiled the client/server software to have a look at how new it is?

I tried to get folks to do it but to no avail...   Sad

If we add to some list, I will keep voting, let's wait.

yes, you are right, we should vote for some exchanges now , and it needs exchange...

Try here >>> https://hitbtc.com/vote

Nxt, Nas and Nhz are listed. It is a direct dollar/euro exchange too, no btc step in between.

Worth trying to get on if thr community gets behind it  Grin

Looks like you guys decided not to vote for Nxt  Cheesy https://hitbtc.com/vote

Your choice but keep voting for NAS as I would guess it makes it more likely both will be added and it is a good exchange with direct fiat exchange.

NAS is 15 votes behind Mintcoin for 5th place. If you don't want to chase them you can always vote for Nxt  Cool Cheesy

hi
Iam new here.
Does the next  the  crypto services platform or it is just new coin?
Cant understand it

NXT is a platform for a wide-ranging digital economy, which also includes a currency.
Other people are better equipped to explain all the present and coming features. For now, take a look at the client and Asset Exchange (built in) and prepare to be impressed.
You can find faucets to send you a few NXT and may even convince people to send you a few assets if you ask nicely Smiley
Seems iam on the right point of view.

If you (and anyone else too) posts your Nxt address in this thread >>>> https://nxtforum.org/silver-bullion-gateway/silver-token-giveaway-thread-(share-this-link)/

...Anon136 will send you a FREE silver token from his Silver Bullion Gateway. Each token is 100% backed by real silver and if you send him 10 tokens, he will post you a physical bar to your home address (10 tokens represent 1oz of silver, IIRC).

Not bad for your first asset? Grin

Ok, lot of exciting things going on but does NXT solve the "nothing at stake" issue?
Because otherwise we should consider it worthless.

Economic clustering has been planned by Bcnext to address what has now become popularly known as the 'Nothing at Stake Problem'. See below with a link to the discussion. Grin

NEW PLANNED FEATURE RELEASE

With no trail time or warning at all (as is his way  Cheesy ), Come-from-Beyond committed code related to a new feature known as Economic Clustering (EC)

Mini take-aways are (as I am still digesting it. Please correct me,  if require  Cheesy ):
i) Addresses the so called 'Nothing-At-Stake Problem'
ii) Analysis of the transactions will allow the detection of forks
iii) The community needs to build infrastructure of nodes and hubs (forging pools) as a first step and then they need to form the Economic Cluster

And we are another step towards full transparent forging  Whoop whoop! Grin  Grin Cheesy

This is an important technical feature so skip the rest if you're not interested in the nuts and bolts  Cheesy

I'd like to announce a new feature. Today I committed code related to Economic Clustering (EC). This concept is a development of the idea of Economic Majority introduced by Meni Rosenfeld.

In his notes BCNext states that EC solves the most critical flaw of Proof-of-Stake concept, according to the description this flaw is what others call "Nothing-at-Stake" problem. The 3rd part of the Plan contains such the words:
Quote
Mining in Nxt relies on cooperation of people and even forces it
That was said about EC.

The concept of economic clustering is quite simple. Words "economic majority" say enough to explain how it works. From technical point of view it means that if someone decides to rewrite the history of the blockchain he won't be able to include transactions of those who don't take part in the attack, because every transaction contains the id of one of the recent blocks. When Alice sends money to Bob in exchange for something she'll get what she wants only if Bob validates the transaction. And this can happen only if they are both on the same branch.

Forgers can't forge all branches at once, they are faced with a choice, an attempt to forge more than one branch will lead to their exclusion from one of the clusters.

The proposed technical solution will also be used for analysis of transactions to detect forks. This is one of the reasons why I decided to implement part of EC without waiting for complete TF. Another reason is that proposed solution should be peer reviewed. Recent hot debates on BitcoinTalk regarding Nothing-at-Stake show that people are paying a lot of attention to PoS cryptocoins. This is a good opportunity to get a lot of reviews.

Extra consensus rule mentioned in the 1st part of the Plan is a rule that defines choice of an economic cluster a node sticks too. I can't reveal all the details yet, we still need to build infrastructure of nodes and hubs and (this is more important) to form such a cluster...

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy silver rounds/bars, warehouse them and tie the assets to that storage?

Where is the fun?

I guess if pouring 2000deg metal is one guys idea of fun, more power to him. Wink

What is so fun at pool party with barbecuing, beer and live band... when you can melt metal in hot oven... Oh yeaaaah ! !   Grin   Grin

I think he's planning on making 'NXT' bars eventually...

im not sure if i want to do that or just have a more general brand. but yes i will definitely be getting a stamping machine and some custom stamps at some point. i really need more feedback from the community. there are soo many things that i could do to improve my business. like literally 2 dozen things that i know of already and of course i can only do one at a time so it would be great if i knew what was most important to you guys so i could put that at the top of my list.

some potential upgrades (in the order i think is most important):
buying a tumbler so that bars will come out with a mirror shine
moving into refining
having a custom 10 ounce mold made so i can start pouring 10 ounce bars
getting stamps and a stamping machine
moving into gold

Make them shiny. Definitely  Grin Marketing will be easier

If you have you have signed up and exhausted your voting rights, transfer a nominal amount into your shiny new hitbtc account as play money and trade around with the interface. This will add some volume pressure too.

Then send an email to the PR guy here >>>> pr@hitbtc.com  telling them:

i) you have transferred some money in and had a look around
ii) what you think about the interface, suggest any improvements you might have thought of
iii) and TELL THEM YOU LOOK FORWARD TO THEM ADDING NXT AND THE FIAT EXCHAGNES THEY WILL BE ADDING. This will encourage you to move even more cash into hitbtc.

The vote is becoming a side show now so now we need to back it up with some genuine supportive action, I think we have made our point but just need to push it over the line with some personal attention Grin

To be honest it seems kind of sketchy to me that they allow multiple voting. Trying to inflate their image with a high turnout I guess. Somehow reminds me of the NEM IPO with all those sock-puppet accounts.  Roll Eyes

I know what you mean, I am beginning to suspect foul play  Undecided If you check the blackcoin thread on BCT and their Reddit, there is a deafening silence on promoting this. Yet their tally has increased 30% in 4 hours...  Roll Eyes

Anyhoo, keep the votes coming  Grin Grin Grin  >>>> hitbtc.com/vote

Haha, maybe I'll vote again just for kicks, I think 24 hours have gone by since the last time  Grin

It's a mystery to me why anyone is still involved in ventures like Blackcoin and Mastercoin. What exactly do these coins have going for them?

You can look at the BC thread and they often think they are at "at war" with everyone in crypto (esp. clones of their clone) and see themselves as "wolf of wall street" traders and BC as sophisticated and all that goes along with that. The tech is just Novacoin (fork of peercoin) with the POW stage fast forwarded to happen in 7 days.

Whatever means they use, it will backfire in a big way if they get listed and there is no trading volume to back up their 200,000 votes  Cheesy Cheesy. So, in additon to votes, we need to show hitbtc that we can follow up on our community's genuine show of interest.

If you have you have signed up and exhausted your voting rights, transfer a nominal amount into your shiny new hitbtc account as play money and trade around with the interface. This will add some volume pressure too.
