1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: June 09, 2016, 12:25:09 PM
i have tried many bitcoin wallets, from the full node wallet like bitcoin core and armory to SPV wallets electrum and multibit, and also web wallets like blickchain.info and coinbase.

but in the end i am just using one of these as my main wallet and that is Electrum because i feel more comfortable with it and it is light.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: June 09, 2016, 12:21:10 PM
Maybe in its early stages, it is going to hinder the growth of bitcoin because storing it will limit it to a few holders. But as people become more and more aware of bitcoin, it will naturally be in circulation as the demand will increase. This currency is still facing a lot of uphill battles towards mass adoption but we see progress everyday.

I think for selfish reasons, it is better to store the bitcoins. But circulation will also help the price performance.
I also agree with this, Bitcoin should be used the same way as people use regular fiat currency. Save part of your coins, but also use a small portion of them.

But to say that storing Bitcoin is against Bitcoin is a bit crazy I think.. Bitcoin is all about freedom and this saying goes completely against that.

well it is not just about storing or not storing bitcoin, but it is about whether or not people are willing to spend bitcoin instead of fiat or are people just interested in bitcoin as an investment to hold forever and sell (dump) as it rises.
this way of thinking should change to the first one (spending) then we can grow.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: June 09, 2016, 12:16:17 PM
You could try peer to peer loans. They don't pay as much as the risky strategies but they'll definitely grow your portfolio a bit.

loans in bitcoin is dangerous enough as it is anonymous and with all the scammers online.

so that it is why i think investing the 1K$ is not a good idea to do it all in loans because you can lose all of it in one place to a scammer.
1984  Economy / Gambling / Re: How come hardly anyone plays on luckyb.it? on: June 05, 2016, 11:17:49 AM
I realised luckyb.it has a lot less user than it used to.
Does any1 know why it has a lot less active players these days.
The game is unique and  i always felt like it's entertaining to watch others bet as there are hardly any "community games" left.

i haven't even heard about them!
so i think this may be the problem, they are not famous so nobody knows about them (or at least a few people heard about them) so their number of players is small.
1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in LISK or DAO on: June 05, 2016, 11:14:45 AM
LISK first, because DAO to lager, diffuclty to pump.

If it is difficult to trigger a rally by pumping, it is difficult to trigger a rout by dumping as well.
So that argument cuts both ways.

NO, you are wrong because you are forgetting how pump and dump works.

for pumping a coin you need to hype it and make people believe that coin is going to the moon (like what ethereum did and still is doing) this takes time and it is hard to convince traders to "buy"

dump on the other hand is so much easier to be triggered. when the whale decides he had enough and this is the top (they can't pump it further) they dump their coins this created a dip which then makes other traders seeing this to dump as well this is when the panic starts and the mass dump begins easily and on its own.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: June 05, 2016, 11:10:58 AM
obviously the fun of gambling is in the winning.

the bigger you win the more fun you will have. and if you are just losing over and over like being on a bad losing streak that is going to suck for you and anybody on this path will quit gambling in the end.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: June 05, 2016, 11:07:41 AM
gamble is nothing , gamble is like a drugs if you get addicted on that if you play gamble they can call suicide..
So the best thing you do you will invest your money if you smart they can grow and grow and grow, in the last you will save a big money to future of your family..
yes some people have an opinion that is different. if I were to choose then I would invest. with invetasi I would not be too afraid of losing all the money I had. safer investment than gambling. I agree with that.

never gamble with the money that you want to invest!

even if you want to play some gambling games it is not a good idea to gamble with all of it. or even if you want to invest do gamble on the investment, research about it first to know what you are really doing.
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk<< Have You made Profit from it? on: June 05, 2016, 11:03:56 AM
so far i am up ~40% in profit again Cheesy

I bet 90% of the people complaining about losing money on Lisk did so because of the Yobit LSK iou market!!! Until the actual launch this was not even Lisk!!! I did great out of Lisk , Got all of my ROI out plus 5-10BTCs and now have 35K free LSK. Learn a lesson be very carefull of shady exchanges offering coins before they have even been distributed yet, for fuks sake yobit just 'reset' the waves market like Blacksmith is the crypto king or something, what about all the people whod bought waves iou before the reset and didnt find out in time lol WTF , fukin joke.  & dont listen to Trollbox , 99% FUD or misinformatioon!!!

anybody who lost money because of YOBIT scam is their own fault.

everybody warned them about this and said they are selling nothing with fake volume. even lisk dev said we are unhappy about what they are doing.
1989  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 05, 2016, 11:00:49 AM
investing mostly or holding for increase in value.

investing is always a good option but you have to be always careful in what you choose to put your bitcoin down.

a lot of the investment plans are just created to scam users and take their money and run.
1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitCoin price on the day of halving on: June 05, 2016, 10:55:46 AM
the price will be $620 by the time of halving and it is highly possible it goes even a little bit back down because of some dumps and then it will rise #tothemoon "after" the halving and shakeout.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: June 05, 2016, 10:50:23 AM
Honestly i don't agree about centralization which is china involve they are greedy..  it can destroy bitcoin if it will happen..
We know china has a biggest part of proportion mining farm.. but i don't agree that bitcoin will be centralization..

I don't understand HOW they can destroy btc ! Some one could explain please?

there is nothing serious to explain.

what people are saying are either some speculation based on vague information they have or they are just spreading some FUD to spread some panic and see how they can affect the price to fill their pocket with cheap bitcoin.
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk making a move on: June 03, 2016, 06:32:22 AM
Possible add to Chinese exchange seems to be nice momentum for Lisk, and Dapp competition.   Max Kordek  best of good luck.

no, i hope it doesn't!

it is too soon for me. i want to buy more by accumulating LISK at lower prices. have been doing this fine until now, i even bought some at 56000 satoshi recently which felt awesome.

anyways i hope it stays here longer before rising.
1993  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 03, 2016, 06:28:07 AM
Hello btc users! Just interested - how do you spend your BTC bitcoins?
Buy something, trading, maybe just collect and waiting for good price? Smiley

i do every thing that is possible with my bitcoins Smiley

but mostly i am using it as some kind of investment because of the price and the halving that is on the way (hodl)

but also i do some trading mostly altcoin trading because i want to try and earn some profit on my bitcoin while holding it.
1994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Egyptian police arrest a man for trading bitcoin on localbitcoin on: June 03, 2016, 06:24:13 AM
btc2okpay was a scammer , you can find many scam accusations against him: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626733

Involved in money laundering , he was just using bitcoin as a means to swap currencies locally. Finally got caught.

Scam thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626733

If he is same person with the scammer in the link, then he deserve it.

If he is a true scammer and caught, then we should thank Egytian authorities for doing the right things.

this was expected.

when you link bank account (money is involved) and he has scammed people who go to authorities then he will eventually get caught.

although we don't know the whole story the links in OP are not sufficient for that.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: June 02, 2016, 09:20:07 AM
Do you really trust online bitcoin casinos you play at?

I think all lost in casino, except the owner.

yes i do trust online bitcoin casinos but my trust can only go so far!

i mean i wouldn't say they are all good or even i don't invest lot of money in them, anything can go wrong at any moment.
1996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim Bitcoiner on: June 02, 2016, 09:14:38 AM
Is interest against Muslim rule?
Will you make interest free loan?

Yep, it prohibited.
Of course, BIG NO  Grin

please don't spread false information.

interest is not against any rules in Islam. the prohibition is about Riba or in other words Usury (which is a particular type of interest) and it is not restricted to only Islam there is same rules in other religions too.

1997  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: June 02, 2016, 09:09:29 AM
For now, i only have around 0.015 bitcoin, because i already sold all my bitcoin yesterday, when i need money. Now i will earn bitcoin again.
oh very unfortunate you sell bitcoin at a low enough price $442 I think if you're willing to be patient much longer are you going to get a bigger profit dude. but all that has passed and you need the money anyway so it was not a problem. collect bitcoin as much as possible before prices skyrocketed again Cheesy

Yeah, bitcoin is definitely pretty low right now. I'd rather never sell it than to sell it at such an undervalued level.

I have around 50 bitcoins in terms of liquidatable assets. But as for bitcoin itself, I probably don't have that much. I'd say right now around 0.01-0.02 BTC?

Definitely going to buy more though.

You should make more efforts to get it more mate, with this amount you won't be able to make good profits, you still have 2 months, try to grab as much as you can.

Currently got 2 bitcoins and will cash it out when the price has reach a good price to cash out (1000+). I think this will happen at the halving.
So more you have the better it is.

i have a feeling that no matter how much bitcoin i have gathered so far it is not enough Smiley

maybe it is me being greedy but it doesn't matter how much bitcoin i have, i still want to have more especially since bitcoin is about to lift off to the moon.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: June 02, 2016, 09:05:44 AM
i have an old blockchain.info wallet which i have enabled the 2fa with a very strong password for it but since i felt it is not enough security i switched to cold storage and i used Electrum for that because i don't have to download the whole blockchain.
1999  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: PTC = gambling ?? on: June 02, 2016, 09:02:19 AM
PTC (paid to click) services are not gambling because there is not risk involved. you just click on ads daily and get paid to do it.

but this doesn't mean it is a good way of earning money though. because it is bad. of course you can gather some direct referrals but that is not enough to make good money.
2000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk<< Have You made Profit from it? on: June 02, 2016, 08:57:05 AM
i have made some small profit in the early launch when i bought at the bottom and sold some around 0.0008 but now i am only buying as much LISK as i can while the price is between 0.0005-0.0006 and i will wait for the 0.01BTC to sell.
