21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: January 02, 2018, 06:52:18 PM
Xtrabytes is going to hit it big in 2018.  They plan to patent aspects of their tech to avoid copying.   Ark is due for a doubling or more as well.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that will explode in price? on: January 02, 2018, 05:21:43 PM
Honesty I think pascal coin.

Reason- it does not have blockchain bloat issue as blocks can be pruned it’s suppose to be infinitely scalable as well as being instant transaction requiring 0 confirmation. I feel this is another raiblocks or ripple.

Xtrabytes is going to be a top 10 coin in 2018. XBY.   Do your own DD.   Finally a group of people smart enough to patent their technology and keep it a "trade secret" so not anyone can go around and copy it. I realize people value open source but true commercialization means you have to safeguard against people copying your work. This is smart business.

Basically a combination of Ethereum and Raiblocks.

I also like PascalCoin.

Xtrabytes and Pascal Coin.

XBY is essentially the fusion of Ethereum and Raiblocks. The tech is insane.

ETH has major scability issues, but XBY solves this through using a method of structure similar to Raiblocks' Block-lattice. So we're talking about near instant tx times, (10kTPS+) exponential scability, nearly unhackable network, etc. This is why you have all these buzzwords like "Pulse" since this is a very high level of technicality here.

Thats why Borz and the team have been so quiet, because they knew Raiblocks would moon and it would moon before XBY was finished. So they would rather let Raiblocks run its course, and then introduce the next step (DApps on a superior platform). Its SERIOUS BUSINESS. They were talking about competing with NEM when the project first started.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: December 28, 2017, 12:30:37 AM
All Cryptos are ponzis.  Heck the stock market is too. What's wrong with that?  We like people paying more than we did.  Gold bugs are always pumping their metal trying to get buyers.   Musical chairs are fun!  Enjoy the ride!
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An "unbiased" coin review of DeepOnion on: December 27, 2017, 04:57:26 PM
A fair review, and everything you say is right. There is nothing ground breaking at the moment, however the community is very strong and they based the coin on decent blockchain tech.  Low market cap combined with strong community and continual development is all you need to grow. If people don't want to invest, more power to them. I'm here to make money.

95% of the new coins that come out are nothing unique, and 100% of the bitcoin forks are nothing unique.  The ICOs raise a ton of money and it's a crapshoot as to whether they will perform or not.   These bitcoin forks are nothing more than money grabs that start out trading at an overpriced market cap from the start. I'd rather buy something low. When this thing is trading at a $100M market cap and I'm sitting on another $100K I can come back and say I told you so.

The only way this "overhyped" and "overpumped" coin will collapse is if the crypto market collapses, and in that case your top 50 coins are going to tank as well. I learned pretty early in life not to believe gossip and hearsay and look out for my best interests first. I'm not particularly worried about this one.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment strategies on: December 27, 2017, 04:47:40 PM
buy good alts and hold.  I'm invested where I want to be for now, so I'm not going to make any major moves unless I find something new or new ideas, icos, or whatever.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nxt airdrop Ignis ! on: December 27, 2017, 04:43:53 PM
NXT was trading at an 60 million dollar market cap 6 weeks ago. I think I'll pass.   Buy low, sell high.

Can we get a binance listing?  I dont know if we have the numbers to get the votes or not but I think this coin is certainly ready for it.

Binance community coin... A developer needs to get us signed up and we need to get voting!  I know we have the community to get this done, so let's get it done!
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are coins going to pump in Jan 2018? on: December 27, 2017, 12:43:55 PM
Hopefully there's no tax selling but its something to watch out for.  I'm holding all my bleep for awhile.  Reach for the sky with my two favorites and all the others.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: December 27, 2017, 12:42:18 PM
I'm getting an ample amount from the deeponion but I threw in $10k of my own funds investing in the coin in the process.  Each week $600+ worth at current prices.

Given the problems we have with poloniex I made an enquiry to the great folks at kucoin. Hoping they can extend a welcoming hand and be the second major exchange this great coin is listed on.

I'm hoping the poloniex problems are only isolated though as I've always enjoyed their exchange as well and have never personally encountered issues with them aside from their low daily withdraw limits.

Still, any reason to add a new exchange to my rotation is always welcome.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin to invest 30000 USD ?? on: December 27, 2017, 11:55:10 AM
NEM is a great coin as well. I should have never sold off any of my original stake I'd be quite a bit further ahead had I held.  Why?  Proof of importance, fast transactions, a lot going on behind the scenes. Much more viable as a coin to use for everyday transactions with faster confirmations and adjustable fees.. Of course there are other cheaper altcoins that can make this claim as well, which is why I'm holding my xtrabytes and pascal long term and there are others I dont own like dash and monero that do pretty good work.   Newer coins are more likely to build upon the older tech you just have to keep your eye on the icos and new launches and look at their white papers and underlying tech to see if they are more than simple tokens promoting services or another clonecoin but even if they are with a large enough community they can get development or a good pump. It takes people to get coins on many of the exchanges. Cough cough....
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Cap Predictions for 2018 on: December 27, 2017, 06:36:51 AM
1.0 to 1.5T before it settles down and bases around $800B to 1.0 T to end out the year.  During this time a number of new services will give coinbase and Gemini a run for their money.

We may start to see state backed currencies that are much more stable as a place to park money besides less secure areas like tether.  If this is so they will boost the market cap significantly.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin to invest 30000 USD ?? on: December 27, 2017, 06:30:47 AM
Xtrabytes, pascal coin, ark, syscoin, perhaps a few I dont own but are good ideas... Bitbay, black coin, litecoin, bitcoin cash....  There's a lot to choose from so pick carefully!

XBY and pasc are my favorites...for the tech combined with the cheap market caps.  I love my pascal account number..its my zip code.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Authenticator on: December 26, 2017, 04:41:28 PM
Back up all your QR codes or switch to the authy app which will back them up for you. Either of these solutions would work, and I do both. I keep all them backed up in an encrypted 7Z file with a random 32+ character password and use a 2D barcode scanner with QR codes to keep passwords. I also add prefix characters so even if someone finds the QR codes it won't be of much use. A few prefix characters plus a long 32 character password on a QR code and a cheap 2D barcode scanner bought on ebay equals security and lots of mother loving win.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 to 5-10 million, possible? If so any tips? Thanks! on: December 26, 2017, 04:30:33 PM
xtrabytes is a 5 bagger minimum. Hopefully they can get themselves on binance and then it will be a 10+ bagger.  It's going to be the next big top 50 coin.

I also love pascal coin and have $30K invested in it right now. I might throw in another $15K by selling some Ardor, but I'm leery because they only trade on one major exchange. If they can get another one, but that's hard to do unless your coin has the capital to throw $100K to the exchanges as a "listing fee" as if the trading fees they get for the coins aren't enough already. :p

I would not go and put a ton into a single coin, but there's not a lot of super deals left in my opinion. You never know what coin will get pumped though, and a lot of less worthy coins have gotten big pumps just because they trade on bittrex.

Ark is still relatively cheap. Syscoin.   I focus on the tech first, and not the pump.  I've held these two for 6+ months now while others have gone parabolic. I have faith, haha.

It's good to remember that the price of a coin doesn't matter. A lot of dumb money lately has been price focused, when they should be market cap focused. It's easier to drive up the price of a low market cap coin that one that's already at $5 billion.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin of the future: DeepOnion on: December 26, 2017, 04:25:26 PM
It's getting some FUD by people here but that doesn't phase me none. It doesn't excite me like xtrabytes and pascalcoin do because there are some other coins that have similar technology as deeponion, but the community and development makes the difference.  Low market cap makes it a no brainer with the size of the community. Just got listed to kucoin as well. Despite pascalcoin's best efforts the lack of a large community makes for certain limitations despite the greatness of the tech.

People called NEM a scam years ago, and xtrabytes a scam earlier this year, and I kept holding and made massive gains. What other people says has little effect on me.
