281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban's attack on Bitcoin on: June 08, 2017, 03:09:16 PM
Analysts get paid to make predictions, not be right. There are millions of them out there who make money being wrong, so don't put a lot of faith in what any of them have to say... I have yet to find one that can do much better than random chance.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: June 08, 2017, 03:04:33 PM
I'll be more excited when bitcoin is running at 20 tx/sec or higher at a fee of 25 cents per transaction or less, with zero unconfirmed transactions in the backlog, with the big mining giants no longer running the show. I know they never will, but they should consider a proof of stake component to the coin with 1 minute block times.

Getting 3 confirmations takes 30+ minutes in many cases.  Don't want Ethereum to take the throne? Get it done.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of ETH , DASH , DOGE , LTC ? on: June 08, 2017, 02:56:25 PM
They're all fine except doge but doge will get pumped because people like the silly name and silly logo and because it used to be a top 3 coin.  Whether bitcoin can hold the throne will depend on how quickly they pull their heads out of their rears and stop letting the mining giants slow development down.

You guys all need to relax.  Don't feed into each other's rants and don't threaten violence. Play your cards intelligently.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: June 08, 2017, 01:23:12 PM
VIA, Bitbay, and Shift are the most likely to hit $100M from here.

Xtrabytes has long term potential. Pascalcoin if they listen to my ideas and kick it in the ass with their blockchain trim technology and change the name.

Desperately looking for coins focusing on scalability that are still cheap, the pickings are slim to none at this point... most low valued altcoins except the ones I'm invested in are the same old crap.. clone POW/POS coins with 1 to 10 minute block times, focused on smart contracts or other generic services. Yawn.  HEAT has potential on paper but it looks to me like it's more a scam than anything.

NEM is the scalability king if they can get the Mijin going, and the other more scalable coins are also already priced to perfection (in the top 10)
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we back in 1999, bubble fans ? on: June 08, 2017, 12:07:03 PM
Sex is great, beer is fine, we're the class of '99  (boy do I feel old, and does the time go by fast)  ... bubble.. maybe so, maybe not... new investment can create a new base. I've been impressed how the cryptos have managed to sit here around a total market cap of $100B and not either rise aggressively or crater.... that kind of stability is interesting to say the least.

If I can be an exception to your senior member requirement, PM me.. otherwise I'll buy the coin anyways and hold it.  Getting ready too right now.  Edit... Order filled 30,000 @ .00008500

you lucked out. its hard to get decent size order filled at this price right now.

I just put in limit orders, log off, and leave it. When a whale sees a bigger one inevitably one will go and take it out. Works almost every time. No need to chase the price up.   In any case I'll be a senior member by the end of summer.  Until then I'll leave the pumping in threads to the senior members.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] VeriCoin Proof of Stake-Time Currency | New Roadmap Released on: June 07, 2017, 05:53:53 PM
That guy sure is interesting. He goes from coin to coin and trashes them, having spend literally months since he joined trashing LBRY Credits, which by the way has gone up 30 fold from where he started trashing it. Should have shut his mouth and bought $10K worth instead.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [BAY] Bitbay speculation on: June 07, 2017, 11:49:37 AM
It will be above $100M within 5 days.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: RIP Poloniex Trollbox on: June 07, 2017, 11:46:45 AM
simple... let only level 3 verified people only post on the trollbox (those who have uploaded their ID and have a $25K limit).... kind of reminds me of IMDB getting rid of their messageboards... IMDB now sucks... poloniex is still useful though.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wings up x10 from when I first mentioned it here. Whats next? on: June 07, 2017, 06:07:17 AM
Bitbay is going to $100M+
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying other crypto's on: June 07, 2017, 06:00:58 AM
They're all fine if you're careful and do your DD.  Don't try withdrawing any altcoins from any exchange is your safest bet. Leave them there and withdraw BTC only but at least search to see if people are having problems with the coin you want to withdraw. Make sure if the wallet requires a message you use it. I use bittrex, poloniex, yobit, gemini, and GDAX.

Use 2 factor authentication and strong passwords with all sites.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[Mobile Wallet is now LIVE!] on: June 07, 2017, 04:30:30 AM
I can't believe nobody thought of the name "Pask" during the original launch.  Haha... See which one renames their coin first.  Also block times should be 60 seconds... Scalability and speed is where it's at.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest thing in crypto is owned by morons!! on: June 07, 2017, 04:17:14 AM
Branding is important. I tried to get them to rename Pascal coin to Pask with little interest.   Their coin would be Pask, the symbol would be PASC, and the accounts Pasa.  Would be much better than that archic name they're using.

I think the worst names in Crypto are in the top 10 coins. Walking into a shop and asking for some etherurem, or some NEM or some Ripple. lololol All crypto names are stupid!!! Xtrabytes is no better or worse.

Of all the names to call a coin I always liked Ripple, I will say that.

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest thing in crypto is owned by morons!! on: June 07, 2017, 04:15:19 AM
Agreed, it's a total shilljob but he's right.  Crypto is infested with fucking morons, but OP obviously been near a reflective surface lately.   Anyone who thinks they're developing something better than bitcoin is suffering from the same syndrome as the suckers who are just riding along for the p&d.

Says the person shilling for yet another cloud storage coin and an ICO at that.   Yeah I know, I have a worthless coin in my sig :p

With that said, I love the name Xtrabytes.

Op's text

I get it's significance.  The coins I own I try to buy for the tech first and the pump second but I won't lie I target low market cap coins before the big ones.   Why even make this thread unless you yourself are trying to pump it?  Xtrabytes and Pascal coin have some unique tech.  NEM as well.... NEM is ahead of the game when it comes to scalabity but it's already number 4.

I admit now that there's less bargains I've strayed to other coins that are nothing new but just have active developers with vision... VIA is litecoin on steroids.   Bitbay is just interesting. etc.

Xtrabytes needs the static chain operating before they submit for bittrex in my opinion.   I also don't like their recent emphasis on rewarding the whales with static nodes who got in early by charging 100,000 XBY for a new node.  I would issue 500 new 250k nodes, charge 10k for each one, with that money she going to the devs.  These early node holders have already made a lot... They don't need more.

As for this being an ICO, there was plenty of opportunities for anyone to buy at literally 10 sats or less, so that's people's own fault if it was under their radar.   Anyone could have bought millions of XEM for almost nothing for the longest time as well.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to join 2017 rally ? on: June 07, 2017, 12:33:31 AM
Bought 30k BitSend. Will look at condensate when I'm not working as I don't have any accounts with them exchanges.

Holdings...  Xtrabytes, Bitbay, Ark, VIA, Pascalcoin, NEM, BitSend.

Best tech... NEM, Xtrabytes and Pascalcoin.

Coins most likely to triple in price short term: bitbay and VIA
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich cryptocurrency is the most promising? on: June 07, 2017, 12:10:48 AM
My holdings... Bitbay is undervalued as is xtrabytes, pascalcoin, and VIA.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to join 2017 rally ? on: June 06, 2017, 10:23:52 PM
What I do now is invest top 101-200 coinmarketcap alts that aren't been pumped last month, so in that way there is less risk of "deflation" (or dump) and there is still the chance that it will be pumped too.

So my spot now is: BSD

Other one in the 101-200 range that is not at is ATH  is ZCL that is worth a try.

thanks for the tip.
