It's better to report more threads than to report less because you're worried about that %
And to be on topic a little bit... I concur with the suggestion that reporting old threads that are still posted in is good, but there's really no need to report anything if the thread isn't on the first few pages.

Other languages/locations board should be used for Bitcoin discussion only, as you said this is Bitcointalk forum.
According that statement, the Altcoin section should not be present in that forum... Imho, developing the altcoin section will benefit that forum, cause Bitcoin and altcoins are connected. Conflict BTC vs. Altcoins is not the path we want to follow. Agreed, I fully support removing the altcoin section... but it's here to stay for now. |

Personally, I just use lastpass and generate random passwords for each account.
The best thing way to do it... you never have to worry about remembering different passwords either! |

Why does the rank matter? If you've managed to get 300 activity you probably aren't a spammer, and don't want to risk being banned.
Sometimes I edit a post only to spot an error and go back in and edit a second time. I was mostly just asking to figure out if "forum rank" tiers calculation is handled separately from the "post throttling" tiers calculation, and mostly only because it seemed strange that the tiers don't match up. ( and I notice that you didn't answer my question, but instead just made a mention of banning in a way which I felt was vaguely threatening and perhaps directed at me or something. not sure.) You suggested that you needed the time between posts to go lower than 8 seconds, only a spammer would need it lower than 8 seconds... hence the mention of banning spammers. |

Sig ads undermines his ability to sell ad space on the forum. why would an Advertiser pay theymos for a weeks worth of Ad time when they can get hundreds of thousand of ads for the same price through spam from users. this deprives him of profit along with he mods who get paid for banning you. shit rolls downhill and you're at the bottom.

No, it's because they have lead to an increase in spam and clutter. I advocate for their banning and don't care about their effect on forum ad revenue. The forum has become so much worse to read since they've been around. |

This is not an issue at all, multiple accounts are allowed.

Bans are based on calendar days.
Post count/activity does not go down while banned.
