You can't edit posts in the Auctions sub-forum, that feature has been disabled there.

No, I was interested in what country you were in.

Have you heard of this new thing called asking a question?
363  Other / Meta / Re: Is Theymos anonymous? on: November 21, 2013, 01:32:01 PM

Why?  The OP has already been answered.
364  Other / Meta / Re: How to get my incorrect trust rating removed ? on: November 21, 2013, 01:30:40 PM
Talk to the person who left them and ask them to remove the rating, that is the only way it will get removed.
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Bitcoins For Newbies! on: November 20, 2013, 10:44:59 PM
you realize that starting threads with the sole purpose of spreading your referral code seems not welcome on this board & will lead to the deletion of your thread?

I usually let the posts stand, just without referral links.  Though an added bonus today is the negative trust rating!
366  Other / Meta / Re: Cannot Watch topics. on: November 14, 2013, 07:35:07 PM
Set up the option to notify you via email. So every time there is a reply it would send it to your email. Although, this means every single future reply will be have a separate email. Could result in a lot of spam if you do post regular.

The watch function hasn't worked for a long time and I think it's been addressed before, but was set as low priority.

What?  I use https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=watchlist all the time, it's working fine.
367  Other / Archival / Re: Self-moderated topics on: November 14, 2013, 02:25:54 PM
I know the feature is disabled on certain sub-forums, but I'm not sure which ones.
So far I'm unable to do so in the Meta and Alternate cryptocurrencies.
Can a mod give me the option for a specific topic or mine or?

A mod wouldn't be able to change that.  What section were you trying to start the topic in?

LOL isn't that convenient ?  Grin

I think it's pretty obvious you just don't want to be called out by others when you post bullshit proof.  Smiley

this is meta.

ill be happy to post in a thread you make in the scammers section.

PM me a link.

Stay on topic man...

Not completely related to this thread, but I just thought goat telling someone else to stay on topic was pretty funny.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In your estimate, how many people there are with over 50 BTC holdings? on: November 13, 2013, 02:18:38 PM
Using this: http://www.klmist.com/keysreport.html

There are 12k keys with more than 100 BTC, and 97k with more than 10 BTC.. So somewhere in the middle maybe? 30-60k?

Those are keys, not people.

Hello,

I already tried to talk to your company about bitcoins with no response.  So I'm taking my chance here, because I really believe you're missing the train not offering to pay for kreds using bitcoins.

Bitcoin is a digital crypto-currency that is now almost 5 years old, and is becoming more commonly adopted.  When it was first released bitcoins had no value, currently 1 bitcoin is worth about $346.

This is a very incomplete introduction for people completely unaware:

A bit longer, Max Keiser talked about Bitcoin again recently:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2Cjo7CHh6w

An explorer is soon to make the first bitcoin transaction from southpole, and plant a bitcoin flag there:

Bitcoin currently being tested by Baidu:

Bitcoin ATMs are beginning to spawn:

IBM architect being interviewed about Bitcoin:

I believe the first online gaming platform accepting bitcoins will:
- Create a nice buzz
- Most likely won't regret it financially

If you're afraid to use Bitcoin because of the fluctuating value, there is a solution to that problem.  You can use a payment processor such as Bitpay or Coinbase, they will take the bitcoins and convert them to dollars for a fee of 1% or less.

I really hope you seriously consider accepting bitcoins.
Thanks for reading,

A fair amount of spelling and grammar mistakes, hope you didn't send that as an email  Undecided.

Changed some wording around as well, let me know what you think.

Starting to think this may just be the case unfortunately :/
*And the real crux of it is that I'm basically talking about a section of code that at most should take 35 minutes to write...assuming you watch yourself a whole episode of big bang theory first.

Thank you for your opinion. If it was that easy we could do it long ago. Anyways, if you are using fresh account there should not be any problem.

It is that easy, just like flipping the switch from USD based trading to BTC should be.

Got a good reason they're not in the robot?
374  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk PM Phishing Notice on: November 09, 2013, 01:56:55 AM
A lot of mods (if not all) have also been targets of these PMs, seems like their trying to grab important accounts.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The First Bitcoin Bankrun on: November 08, 2013, 07:18:11 PM
Could you elaborate on how Gox is operating like a fractional reserve bank?

Well they have a few million in frozen assets that they can't touch, so that's definitely part of it.
376  Other / Meta / Re: My trust score has gone down dramatically? on: November 08, 2013, 04:35:31 AM
Did you change your trust list?  That could change how you see your own score.
377  Other / Meta / Re: cupcakes for sale on: November 08, 2013, 04:05:21 AM
ok then lets see how long this topic stays in the main thread

About 30 minutes  Tongue

Please report threads if they don't seem to belong, they'll be moved.
378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why you should use faucets and other similar sites on: November 07, 2013, 10:19:55 PM
No, spend your time making $ then buy BTC with that $.  The amount of time it takes to get something out of a faucet makes for a very low wage.

Well basically free BTC is better than paying for BTC. You'll make more from larger investment, but the profit marge will always be smaller Tongue

It's not free, you're spending time to get it.

Well even 0.0000001BTC is better than nothing. BTW that 3 second is not so long.

That's .036 cents per hour

This is either a scam or you guys don't know how to run a business.

You're taking orders via email... is it 1995 still?
General payment addresses... you should be using a new address for every payment.
The layout of your website is pretty bad as well... combined with unprofessional text (seeing a fair amount of errors)

Another thing I just noticed, you have the domain registered privately.
