21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC GOLD GOOD or NO on: December 11, 2017, 09:49:22 AM
I do not believe in bitcoin gold because I think BTC gold will not be worth much when bitcoin is still alive and well. People will not invest in a copy of bitcoin because I think it would be risky. I would choose to invest in altcoin, which is a safer way for me.
Yes I have a doubt also in btc gold future. It just creates to earn who develop's this btc gold, it aint good. Maybe for those who really wanted to ride in this btc gold. I still choose other altcoins than btc gold.

most altcoins are this way. it is not just bitcoin gold. and most altcoins are the most profitable investments that is how they stay alive. they get manipulation then they get pumped and each pump leaves behind a lot of wounded people who will be bag holding that altcoin for a long time and all that time they will be advertising it as a false good. eventually another pump comes along and they get some of their money back not all.

and most of the develoeprs are getting rich like this. that is why they premine their coins. even the biggest one which is ethereum had a huge premine of 70 million or more.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: ✨✨✨ Time To SHORT For Massive Profits!! ✨✨✨ on: December 11, 2017, 09:35:36 AM
But this is all changing starting on December 10th, 2017!!!!

The downfall has already begun  B)

how are you doing there chief with the $3500 per coin which you lost in the past days?
i hope it doesn't hurt as bad as it looks and you came to your senses about betting against the market movement and shorting what you shouldn't have shorted.

try to invest more responsibly next time Wink

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name the coins you think can catch up with Bitcoin's price in the future? on: December 11, 2017, 09:23:24 AM
Will Ethereum be able to do it?

not a chance.
even if we ignore all the problems that Ethereum has such as scaling and the fact that all transactions are stuck and cost of sending a transaction is increasing by the minute, we are still left with the biggest flaw that will prevent the rise to anywhere near bitcoin.

and that flaw is its huge supply plus the fact that it has no cap. until eternity there will be new ETH issued and fill the market to increase the supply to no end. it is a simply supply and demand relationship.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are good short time investments in altcoins? on: December 09, 2017, 12:58:00 PM
NEM and LTC are the good performers of these days. both of them are rising pretty nice and with a lot of potential. LTC also has a big community that each time it goes up in price, the community grows that much bigger with it which makes the price more solid and creates a nice buy support for it.

the bigger altcoins like ETH are so-so in my opinion specially since it has issues these days, many are transferring their coins to dump but they can't. as soon as issues are fixed we may encounter a huge wave of dumps.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 09, 2017, 10:52:01 AM
as a trader you should never see huge losses, and if you do then you have been doing it wrong. small losses are normal and everyone will see some every now and then but a huge loss only shows you are not a trader. because a trader will be setting some preventing measures such as stop loss to prevent a huge loss due to a sudden, unexpected drop.

also, don't forget that you should be speculating the dumps before they happen.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA, what is it? on: December 09, 2017, 09:34:27 AM
I appreciate the answers even though they are not answering my questions. Who else could provide something useful?

sadly asking technical questions about an altcoin here won't give you any answers because nobody is interested in anything other than how much money it can give them.

try reading the website: https://iota.org/
and the white paper: https://iota.org/IOTA_Whitepaper.pdf
it will be a lot more helpful.

I'm thinking about joining the IOTA community but I'd like someone to explain what is this about exactly. Bitcoin was meant to be a P2P Electronic cash, Ethereum is here for smart contracts, what about IOTA?

  • What is the maximum supply that we will have have?
  • How is it obtained? mining(POS/POW)?
  • What is a good wallet to store your IOTA? I have checked Exodus and It's not listed there
  • Does it use the blockchain technology? why there are no fees involved?

i am no expert but i try to answer these as best as i can
- 2,779,530,283 MIOTA
- there is no mining. IOTA similar to Byteball is using DAG. which is a blockchain-less technology which has no mining
- download the official wallet from their website, you can run it in light mode https://iota.readme.io/docs/light-vs-full-node
- because there is no blockchain. it uses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed_acyclic_graph

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 09, 2017, 08:26:25 AM
The time will come, people wil lstop using ethereum because it has a lot of issues in its network more and more reasons to stop using it.

that is what i also think will happen.
the issues keep coming up with ethereum every now and then and each time a new one. it is either it getting hacked or another ICO or something like these kittens which is clogging up the whole network and killing the network! it has become so easy to do it these days too. and as we go forward things will become worse.
now i am worried everyday that another DAO is waiting to happen and this time they may not roll back anything.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think the EBTC? on: December 09, 2017, 08:19:07 AM
some guys said it's a scam, but I think it had a lots of value not show in the price.
what do you think about this token?

being scam or not has nothing to do with the price, right now this token has been pumped that is why you saw the price up like that. and it is always either manipulation or some speculation reason for it to get pumped like this. i am not familiar with this particular one to tell you which though.

what i think? i don't see anything special in it. that is just another token among hundreds of others that were created in a rush and it has nothing special to offer.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin prices is go Down in 2018? on: December 08, 2017, 01:50:01 PM
"in 2018" is a whole year you are asking about and in long term bitcoin is going to be rising as long as nothing about it is changed and so far only the adoption of bitcoin is increasing and that suggests a rise in price in long term is not going to change.

however, it is possible to see some drop. that is the healthy reaction of any market in the whole world to go down after some rise. they are called "corrections". and it will last a short while before everything is back to normal and rising up again.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be listed on Coinbase on: December 08, 2017, 12:11:04 PM
if Coinbase adds a market for bitcoin cash like all the other exchanges including Bitstamp are doing, then it will be perfect timing too. because first there will be a bitcoin price correction and possibly some dumping to go around and then bitcoin cash will also have had its drop and reached the bottom already.

there can simply be a huge pump like the last one taking place. and we all know that Roger Ver and Bitmain are two huge whales behind this coin and they will be pumping it as much as they can and during times like this where people from bitcoin are seeking refuge somewhere, they will switch to bitcoin cash temporarily and it can be an even bigger pump.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum price on: December 08, 2017, 12:03:03 PM
it is possible because the ethereum pumpers are good ones. they have a lot of experience in pumping altcoins and they also have a lot of money, which is coming partly from the foundation who premined 70 million ethereum and have been dumping some on every pump and also it comes from banks which are supporting this centralized altcoin to have a big control over the cryptocurrency scene by getting in early one and make a lot of money from its pump and dumps and by controlling the whole thing in their hands.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the crypto kittens problem be solved? on: December 08, 2017, 10:49:05 AM
it is not a problem to be fixed it is a feature that can not be removed!

the ethereum network allows people to do this and no matter what change you make, it will still allow them to do this. that is what ETH is supposed to do after all! to let people create things like this on their platform and let others participate in however they want.
the issue is that it can not handle this many transactions despite them saying it can. the "can handle" in this context doesn't necessarily means it is capable of doing so.

in short the only way to solve this issue is if people stop using ethereum, whether it is for playing cryptokitties, or participating in ICOs or simply transferring it from their wallets to exchanges to dump.
and pretty soon i am expecting more of these games to show up because this first one had a lot of popularity. and people are already looking for ways to copycat the shit out of it....
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BEST METHOD TO BUYIN BITCOIN? SPECIFICALLY FOR LARGE AMOUNTS. on: December 08, 2017, 10:43:17 AM
stop SHOUTING (turn your caps lock off)

if you are ok with paying your taxes and are already doing it, specially if you are in US and know IRS will come after you, then use an exchange like Gemeni or Coinbase/GDAX to make the purchase. there are some limitations there which may cause some trouble but you can use both at the same time to go around the issue.

if you don't want to pay taxes and risk IRS coming after you, and if you want more privacy then use something like localbitcoins.com to find someone to buy bitcoin from off the market and with a different way of transferring money to that doesn't leave a trace Wink

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and LTC which is valuable ? on: December 07, 2017, 01:03:14 PM
Apart from Bitcoins which has proven to be consistent in price appreciation, which of these two coins, ETH and LTC you think is most valuable.

neither of those.
i mean they both have their moments and we all know that investing in them for a short term during their pumps is pretty awesome. there is a lot of profit to be made from these coins but apart from that small time window, the rest of the times they are performing so weakly and even at times they lead to massive losses when you invest in them because they are in big bubbles which can only mean bursting and dumping.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin!!! on: December 07, 2017, 12:47:24 PM
What happens in the crypto-currency market? Everything falls, and bitcoin just flies to Mars! What in this case do, wait?

what happens? this is more like what always "has been happening" Cheesy

the altcoin history is exactly the same as what you are seeing today here with the falls. they get pumped, rise for a little while and then they continue falling, declining and getting dumped until they either die or reach the bottom to get ready for another smaller version of their previous pump.
this is one of the main reasons why nobody sees altcoins as proper long term investments. because they only rise (get pumped) for a short time and the rest of the year they are on the dumping spree.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is considered as digital gold on: December 07, 2017, 12:32:20 PM
Your topic has nothing with the main text, but I'm ready to reply both.
Bitcoin was called as digital gold long time ago, and the main reason of that was that bitcoin is also can be mined just like gold. This collation is used to explain bitcoin to newbies often, cause of this way it is easier to understand the whole idea of crypto.

that may be it but i believe so many these days are calling bitcoin "gold" because they want to imply that bitcoin is not a currency and it is only a store of value. although you may never know why some people say it, maybe some call it gold simply because they want to imply it is too valuable!

and they may be true, bitcoin is not functioning as a currency these days with these high fees and huge backlog. but what they don't realize is that i am afraid not being a currency can kill bitcoin.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be late for the crash - you only get so many warnings on: December 07, 2017, 12:19:16 PM
is it just me or does everyone these days create such topics for later on so that they could say "i told you so" in case a crash or even a drop happened.
i mean if you look around everywhere is filled with people saying practically the same thing and the funny part about their warnings is that they are not even selling their own bitcoins and they are holding it tight!

however we all know that even a blind man can see a correction that will definitely happen very soon. and corrections at times like this are known to be dramatic and people always over-react to them by panic selling.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important thoughts about Bitcoincash on: December 06, 2017, 02:29:10 PM
your whole argument is based on one time bitcoin cash rise! and that was THE plan all along, to use the fact that SegWit2x was canceled and a lot of FUD were flying around about bitcoin and it was getting dumped, use it to pump bitcoin cash and pretend it is the real bitcoin and everyone wants it! and they did do that.

but when you pump an altcoin like this, it is bound to get dumped soon after. and BCH did get dumped. of course like any dump there was a recovery which made so many investors continue holding it hoping it recovers.

it will get pumped again. but not for a long time. so in my opinion if you hold, you are in it for a long time before you see light again Smiley
40  Economy / Economics / Re: How ICO projects will influence BTC and blockchain on: December 06, 2017, 01:11:57 PM
In your opinion, how these projects will influence BTC and blockchain? Do you believe your project will bring something useful to the world or it will just make the bubble even bigger?

it is hard to say really.
most of them look good with lots of ideas and promises. and there actually are so many that will look pretty awesome at first checking them and of course they are full of nice promises and they all seem to be set to change the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

but let me ask you one thing, how many of them do you know that have done any of the things they promised? i am talking about those that are now done with their fund-raising and have had a couple of months of work to give results.
my hopes are not high for ICO projects, sadly. it can be a nice thing but will it be? i am not so sure.
