I disagree- if you look at the history of credit cards (especially in the US) they were originally issued as store credit. Pretty much independent from the banking system or at least independent from the gold standard. Banks will always issue credit in one form or another as there will be a market for it.
Banks should loan out their capital, like it used to be in the past 3000 years. Enough with this printed money ponzi schemes. If they adopt bitcoin, they will be restricted to loan out only as much as they have. Then they will be forced to actually compete (like how capitalism supposed to be) and have a strict credit policy, with small default rate. This could revive the economy, but i think its too late for this shift. Perhaps not a good example, but don't Islamic banks run on a non-fractional system? Anyway, again I disagree with you- credit and loans have always existed (at least where allowed and not held back by religious dogma) Credit is part of the free market. It just needs to be divorced from parasitical fascist entities like the state and corporations.

Of course, if it hits a million dollars it would be devastating for the banks.
So you think the banks will just stay and watch until bitcoin takes off. Man these banks will be the ones pumping bitcoin. Once they realize how good it is, they will put billions of $ in it, and make a fortune with it later on. They will not stay and wait until grandmothers will put money in bitcoin, or the other sheeple, banks are opportunists, they will probably invest in the next 2-3 years in bitcoin. I actually expect the next bitcoin pump to be driven by the banks. I don't care if Banks embrace BTC, actually that's what I want! The thing is, once they do, there's no more QE or -to put it simple- money inflation anymore. Gresham's law will do the rest. This is the first and most important thing BTC incorporates IMHO. I disagree- if you look at the history of credit cards (especially in the US) they were originally issued as store credit. Pretty much independent from the banking system or at least independent from the gold standard. Banks will always issue credit in one form or another as there will be a market for it.

Good to see people aren't willing to let these actions go unforgotten. Cheers BN.

Yep, market action! I don't think we're going to see the 0.003's. I'm trying to gather another few tons in the 0.004 range.
I did tier 1 verification on Cryptsy (just name and address) so I can withdraw $2,000 a day.
Unfortunately, I did go ahead and do that too. Oh well. Not doing tier 2 though, but I needed tier 1 to even help pull UNO from Cryptsy. lol You had trouble pulling UNO from cryptsy? My withdrawals were all pretty fast accept the btc ones.

Right, time to bring this sale to an end. Still have 2 more plated wallets and 5-6 error strikes. After today, back to normal prices Hopefully on my next project (maybe 2 months away?) I will have another small stock in. Who knows, maybe my next project will be UNO related too! I wouldn't mind seeing a physical bitcoin from you. I am mostly collecting fewer altcoin physical pieces now, prefering BTC for historic purposes! I have quite a few ideas in the works. I will almost certainly be doing one or two bitcoin related pieces. I have some paid designs that I am currently completing right now though!

Deleting mildly critical posts of former supporters? This is not becoming of a would-be dev.
Of course because they are untrustworthy users My post was deleted. I am not untrustworthy at least according to my trust profile- don't take my word for it obviously. I simply advised anyone getting on board with this 'revival' to look into 42's history and that hendo would have to achieve a lot to regain my trust. I was not flaming.

Getting something custom machined on the 20th of December seems like a tall story to me- i.e: it ain't gonna happen.
They are only commencing production. Maybe this does not yet include actually producing them but getting the paperwork done so that they can start right after christmas/new year. Or they are producing in a country where christmas is not celebrated at all. They are Polish- a predominantly Catholic country. If they are commencing production next year they should say that. But I suspect that would not go down too well with the good will of there crowdfunders.

I remember when the prizes were some cool miners ect... Is this just a sign that their attention is elsewhere? Or something else?

I've had trouble using the UNO wallet- tried sending some small amount and had no luck :-/ No connections and none received it looks like.
I will look into this. On my phone, however, I get four connections. What versions are you using. Hey sorry for the late reply. I'm using 0.21-beta. Maybe I should send you the wallet?

How are we monitoring cryptsy's wallet? Are there any specific addresses to follow?
Yep, it's the largest single address. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!rich (bitcointalk doesn't include the '!rich' at the end of the URL so you'll have to include it manually or just click on the appropriate tab on the website.) Every time somebody withdraws it changes addresses and therefore the blockchain shows a transaction size of 30,000+, but it's always easy to find at the top of the rich list. This also means that by following the history you can track exactly when and how much people have withdrawn from Cryptsy. In the 'overview' tab you can easily see which days people did or did not withdraw from Cryptsy based on whether the transaction volume is 30,000+. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!overview It's at 96,000 today so there were 3 separate withdrawals from Cryptsy. Thanks natmccoy. I appreciate the link. Anyone interested in a Unobtanium silver plated wallet, please message me, looking for payment in UNO

The price is getting extremely juicy.
Buying on Cryptsy you're basically paying an extra 0.25% to reduce the size of the mega-wallet, which is doing a service to the coin as a whole. Besides, doesn't really matter to be paying an extra quarter-percent when you're accumulating at these crazy low prices.
but ya, after the mega-wallet is drained I'll lean toward the lower-fee exchanges.

Hi steveds! Thanks for the question. Yes the book covers all about gold and silver plating. In the book I use my gox coins and unobtanium bars as examples. Don't forget that physical print copies are available for btc too Please message me and we can organise payment if you'd like to pick up a copy! Is there a difference between physical print and pdf ? if no ,then i am good with PDF. but i assume it is not the real gold coating ? There are some minor differences- but they are essentially the same. PDF it is The gold plating is actual gold, but the process used means the coating is so thin that it's perfectly affordable for small projects. I'll pop you a PM
