741  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Drop on: February 02, 2015, 08:33:21 AM
This is nothing really, there are some huge dumps coming like we've never seen before.. Causing panic and even more decline than ever before in the process.

Anything is possible. And nothing has been confirmed to the upside yet, so still in a bear market.
742  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS wacom "6x11" graphics tablet on: February 02, 2015, 08:31:52 AM
aww man, now all my dreams of hand written emails are zero Sad

If you want to write- get a wacom or other brand where you write directly onto the screen. It's very hard to do on a regular tablet at least in my experience.
743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yes, I care for the price of bitcoin. (Explain how you feel). on: February 01, 2015, 07:57:13 PM
I think that BTC and LTC will be priceless in the future and people doasn`t awere of that yet

Seriously take a moment to think at the events that would have to happen for this to occur... Not saying it won't happen, but it seems unlikely esp Litecoin.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we here? on: February 01, 2015, 07:55:34 PM
Trend is broken. We are going double digits now. Get ready to buy shit tons of Bitcoin.

Or average in sensibly or establish a position when the trend has reliably changed?  Shocked
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: There has got to be a bottom soon? on: February 01, 2015, 07:52:11 PM
Well, last night's low was $208.  Around $220-$225 now.

As I point out occasionally, the two Bitcoin bubbles were driven by external illegal use cases - Silk Road drugs, and China exchange controls evasion.  Both of those holes have now been plugged.  Without a new use case that provides a similar boost, there's no reason for Bitcoin to have a value much higher than it had before the Silk Road bubble.

Interesting points, I think you could certainly be on to something.
746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we here? on: February 01, 2015, 09:45:08 AM
My opinion is down.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: There has got to be a bottom soon? on: February 01, 2015, 07:53:46 AM
Bottom is as low as people want to risk it to try to invest as low as possible (you can miss the train if you wait too much)

Train missing is FOMO talk. There are always more opportunities.

Lol I'm truly hurt by that  Roll Eyes

750  Economy / Goods / Solid old bike in Amsterdam to buy/rent on: January 31, 2015, 02:52:37 PM
Longshot I know, but I plan to buy a new bike since I'll be living in Amsterdam for a while at least. And why not try and sell or rent my old one for bitcoin?

The bike is old, but I've made basic repairs to it- replaced the kickstand, replaced the seat, replaced the backlock, replaced the ringer, oiled the chain, cludged the rusty mudguard on the front to not rattle with some rubber sealant so it's reliable but not glamorous!

Looking for 0.25BTC (about 50eur) to buy.

It's good if you don't plan on being around for long and probably works out cheaper than renting a bike.

To rent it's only 5 eur a day or 0.025. So you pay the 0.25 and I return the remaining amount at the end of the rent period.

To clarify- if the bike is rented or purchased it can be picked up from Rembrant Plein where I will give you the keys.

Thanks!
751  Economy / Speculation / Re: There has got to be a bottom soon? on: January 30, 2015, 09:37:25 PM
Double digits won't happen, there are way to many people waiting to buy at such price level.

Market is very unsure, really good news gets very low support while the coinbase news gets Bitcoin from  ~$160 to over $300 in just a short time while it was nothing new and exciting.

The recent spike down and up seemed largely technical in nature rather than news driven to me.
752  Economy / Speculation / There has got to be a bottom soon? on: January 30, 2015, 09:26:11 PM
sentiment is abysmal, the spec forum is overrun with bearish posts.

Perhaps one last washout when the bear market ends or... Smashes down into double digits? That will be some serious blood on the streets.

Doesn't loo like 200 will be our last stop down at the moment, but it seems perhaps this is a serious juncture in terms of cycle too.

Just writing some thoughts. keep level heads and powder dry!

Thanks for the kind words about the bars Smiley

Good luck with your sales.

No worries mate and thank you, I'll be sorry to see it go but needs must I'm afraid. Offers pending on the uno bar and cryptolator coin at the moment.

EDIT: Cryptolator and uno bar sold.

It's pretty strange to see something you created sold by someone else, but not in a bad way- this has to be a first for any of my strikes!

Change does not happen without taking some risks, so if you have money why not

You do not need to literally fleece yourself to have convictions. Bitcoin is cool, but no need fight the herd while you can by in lower.

759  Economy / Speculation / Re: the emerging volume on Kraken on: January 27, 2015, 11:18:28 AM

Kraken seems like a safe bet im not surprised its growing, looking for it to be up with bitstamp in a year.   The CEO is known and trusted + very good technically.  The site is also backed by roger ver.
Gox ceo was known also and  trusted...not saying that it has to happen again. Only as an compartion.

MK was a little shifty though, he also never delivered on time and the exchange ran slow.  But yeah i didnt think gox would go down and he certainly tricked me into thinking he was trustworthy as regards holding the funds.
Well, he tricked every one of us so you aren't only one Smiley let's hope it won't happen again.

I still don't know if Hanlon's Razor is applicable to MK's handling of Gox or not. My guess is that it will be.

Thanks for the review snarl!

I'm in the process of getting some new coins struck, and a little something new too, so watch this space Smiley
