Congratulations to BSGMiner! We're going to ramp you up a terahash! As I type by the light of the extension cord, that's a little over five days on a 1TH/s machine. I'll tighten up the rubber bands and see if we can pull it off.
Wow... You don't know how perfectly timed this was. I won't get into the details, but I'll just say "Thanks!" This truly is the best mining community. Those that don't mine at the KanoPool and frequent this forum just don't know what they are missing. This place is indeed the best imo, though I thought the venerated Funk and Wagnalls would be part of the accounting, no? Mine on! |

Close, current pool hash gives a number of 1 day 3 hours expected per block. |

And it should be noted that kano uses a very low fee on the pool payouts so while it may, sometimes, get confirmed before we hit our next block, we will always confirm any unconfirmed kanopool payouts in our blocks. Mine On! Let's keep that Block Party Weekend going! |

Checking for bad or weak hashing is a statistical calculation and the amount of data needed is much more than would be represented by your rental. I believe MRR is quite a bit different than NotSoNice and W. I'm sure kanosan will chime in when he's up and let us know the scoop.

And I'm up.
Took longer than I expected for it to startup. I kept looking for an IP and wasn't finding anything. But I'm up and running now and providing Kano with my first hash and my first miner ever.
The most work was just getting the electricity supply properly setup.
Schweet! When I was a complete noob and was doing my due diligence as to where I would point my very first miner, a massive S5 , I chose kanopool and have never looked back! Good choice, and the community here is the best, bar none. Mine on! |

So I've got a question for you guys.
I'm currently drawing up a business plan for an absurd amount of miners. I might aim for a state in the US with super cheap electric (looking at you Washington), supplemented with either one VERY large wind turbine (1MWh, which i believe is about a million dollars, at least it was when i was working in solar in 2010)
Would the pool be open to having a silly amount of hash rate added to it, or is it kind of in a sweet spot right now where say 50-70PH would hurt the pools share to solve ratio?

Depends on what you think a silly amount of hash is! A kilo? Jk, actually kano has stated that he'd let the pool grow to a max of 10% of total network, which atm is 2,500,000 THs approx. (2,500 PHs or 2.5 EHs) How silly can you get? (Top Secret anyone?) |

Also depends on how you setup your account. If your miners are named as: username.worker1, username.worker2, etc..., then you would see each one on the graph. You have to ask the graph page that you want to see your miners as ".worker1" and ".worker2" etc... You automatically get "all" which shows the total of all your miners. Mine On! |

I smoked an S7 controller with a mis-wired PCIe connector (+ and - reversed). Burned up a couple of the voltage regulators, but is probably repairable and nothing happend to the PSU and wires. Yours looks to be much worse...
