There is alot of uncertainty for December it seems but things look to be trending in the right direction. After all the fork madness of November, BTC seems to have held up pretty good. There was a great chance to sell and make a decent profit during the dip after the fork cancellation and we are seeing new all time highs every week it seems. I dont think we can make 10k by Jan 1st but that would be nice.
I am planning on holding pretty much all my alt positions throughout December and seeing what happens at the start of the new year. I am currently heavy on ARK and ZEC with a little bit of XIOS that I am hopeful will turn around with a new development team and wallet.
I also think that their will be a lot of price increase and a lot coins that will be released. Fake or not, their are many projects that are bound to be finished on december. Maybe as a Christmas bonus to traders. I also have invested in some altcoin and im pretty a lot would increase this coming Holidays. Every year in december the prices of bitcoin increase. This also happen last year which bitcoin touched 1000$ near December End. So i hope bitcoin will reach 10K by this christmas. I dont think altcoin can rise futher by this year and may we have to wait few months until Alts again started to bloom as right now they are all going down. |

Ethereum coins are the only coins where i invest because it has potential to increase its value, The value of this coins today is $355 and i am sure that it will also grow like the value of bitcoins in the future.
Yes Ethereum coin is good for investment. I have also bought them about 4 months back. But now a days i am not really buying any altcoins. My main focus is to collect the bitcoins. If you have already invested dollars in long term why dont you stick to it. As long term investment and trading is always safe. Even if you have extra money for day to day trading, you can still move that funds in your investments. I would not suggest you any coins here for day to day trading but rather i will warn you that day to day trading is not everyone's job and it is difficult to keep the profit always. |

There are tons of projects like that, and people is still investing in all of them or just joining all those shitty airdrops like all of those who are on the ann board of this forum. Just go to there, and check it by yourself.
Maybe 4 of 10 threads the name starts by this way "TRUSTED ALTCOIN" + Diamond/Gold/Silver/Platinum.
They all are the same crap, and people are exporting their private keys to that airdrop and most of them usually lost their funds because of that.
Be careful of that, if you dont want to lose your funds, then dont put your private key in there.
This show the lack of knowlegde most of the people here on digital currency. In order to receive airdrops or free tokens you never need to share your private key. The private key is like a key to your home and if you have given it someone stranger, he will surely theif your house and in this case your coins stored in your wallet. |

BCH, this is always a good choice for replacing Bitcoin. It was splitted from Bitcoin and it has more advantages than Bitcoin.
You BCH is already good as dead as of now I cant say it doesn't have potential but it wont really be a good candidate to become of those coins that would replace bitcoin anytime soon. I would rather believe on ETH to be the next one than on BCH when comes to cases that bitcoin would die. Answering on the question of when bitcoin price falls then theres only two things we can do. Hold up and don't panic sell and buy more cheaper bitcoins if you do still have the money to put on because normally bitcoins price would recover no matter what. Bitcoin Cash is dead for now. Its just a pump dump coin and no one is interested in it. Even Eth is better than Bitcoin cash. But if Bitcoin fails someday there must be a replacement. Already we seeing Bitcoin Gold and someday if swegit2 happens might as well get a better coin which has a potential to compete with bitcoins. |

OP is asking for Ethereum in 5 years and i think this is not predictable now. A lot depends on what happen to bitcoin price by then. Will there be any more forks ? If there was no Bitcoin Cash, ethereum would have been much higher in price by now. I think it should be. The miners were determined to return to BTC again as difficulty increased.
That was just a game plan as they swegit2 was cancelled and big investors who were planing to get a lot of profit from it were disappointed. they started pumping the BCH and also many people were waiting for the bitcoin cash pump and this was the best time. They pumped so high and dumped it within hrs making a lot of profit by handful of people leaving many people in cry and shocked who started to buy it at high price thinking this is the next bitcoin. |

There is dip in value not only in Ethereum but in all the altcoins overall, but it will not be like this always. These altcoins will grow and surely come up in value. Coming to the value of Ethereum in 5 years, it is difficult to say what will be value then but to give you a rough idea, it will be one tenth of the bitcoin price at that time. |

I think all coins who are now over a 1 million marketcap will be also popular in the future, some more some less.
Instead of getting in this never ending debate, i will follow simple rule that coins that are on Poloniex and Bittrex are the well known coins and they have good volume and popularity and they will survive for a long term maybe for 2 to 5 years or even more. For the rest of the coin, if they can go through a year or so, it would be great achievement for them. |

Well, My average of investing in ICO ranges between $50 to $1000. Anyone might say that this is very small amount of investment, but considering how many scams are talking place in the name of ICO, i just afford small amount, so if any day my invested ICO scammed, i may not regret that i put a whole lot of my money into it. |

Yeah it got a high pump. I never saw such a big pump in my life. It went straight upto 0.5 BTC in no time and then 30 mins it was back dumped to 0.2 BTC. Currently it is hovering between 0.2 to 0.3 btc but i can smell that players will soon again pump and dump it and will make good profits again. If you want to make profits with them, we should see the market trends very closely. |

This was one of the most confusing thread titles that I have seen, here or anywhere else. I was literally unable to determine the actual name of the coin and/or project. When the Ann first hit, that was the reason that we gave it very little time. There are so many coins that come out that if we can drop a choice quickly, we do.
I do agree that the name of the token/project should be the first part of the ANN title. Now that the thread has come back up, we gave it a little more of a look and we were pretty ok on what the first page had to say, although not to the point of it standing out amongst the other coins. But, then we flip to the last page and see things like 3 block chains and what not. Just seems too much for a launch and a little too much coin control in the dev team hands over the long haul. |
