381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does China have a large part in the world of cryptocurrency? on: September 13, 2017, 03:58:56 PM
China is a game changer of bitcoin price. when China like to ban the bitcoin then sure bitcoin will be ban. But now china will never down anything wrong. Because we accept China has a large part in all crypto currencies, and now all over the world's people want to use crypto and also trust on them, then suddenly it will be hard if China ban them. It is a talk of trust.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened? on: September 13, 2017, 03:08:07 PM
I would plans to exchanges and see that the coins right there on the front page we're doing just fine. I would even dig deeper and see that the general average had not changed at all. I've gone so far as to take the time stamp off the original post and compare it to the closest you could get on the Bitcoin Candlestick chart and see that a post about how negative everything was going was right in the middle of a rise.
383  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Forgot seed phrase, what to do? on: September 11, 2017, 05:08:37 PM
Hi,

I've lost my seed phrase I wrote on a paper, but I still know my password pin for my trezor.

Can I retrieve my seed still? (I don't feel like transferring my coin to a new wallet)

As long as you can get into the wallet, you are fine. Just start another wallet, new seed phrase and import the private keys. If you cannot get into the wallet at all then it is very likely the coins are lost. The best bet in that case is to spend more time finding and recovering the 12 word code than trying to find a way into the wallet without the keys. If you have a private key, things can be done, without that it is near impossible.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Chinese FUD to trigger panic selling on idiots on: September 11, 2017, 04:30:10 PM
Let them sell. China and the nay sayers are there every couple months and it is not a bad thing in the end. It is a good way to separate the men from the boys and keep the veteran trading group strong with those that can ignore the BS. I would rather see the scared and spineless run and dump rather than have that kind of fickle player in the markets, they are the reason that the prices are harder to predict than in some other markets.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: for US Citizens: if you use VPN to buy into ICO, can the Government penalize? on: September 11, 2017, 03:51:40 PM
If you are using anything for the purpose of hiding money from the IRS or the purpose of defrauding, then you are in a bad place. There is currently nothing wrong with buying into an ICO and there would be no good reason to use a VPS. The exchange or site that you use to buy the ICO tokens may have a policy against it and you likely agreed to it in the terms and conditions, which could mean that you spent money only to have your account banned, locked and the funds kept.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee on: September 09, 2017, 02:16:45 PM
You can either make your own TX's or use a software wallet and set them as low as you want. The issue is that the lower the fee, that longer it will take to confirm. It could sit for days and never get mined because the fee is too low. The exchanges set what they consider to be the optimal fee and even though it is high, it gets the job done. Lower the fee, mean late the confirmation. Higher the fee, quick confirmation. Simple  Smiley
387  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitex - Sell & Buy Cryptocurrencies Script (Bitcoin, Ethereum, ...) on: September 09, 2017, 09:22:27 AM
There are many choices for trading and where you put your trust is a key to them all. I have seen exchanges bust, lifelong crypto members steal and all manner of things. Trusting a script is the same as trusting a stranger and it is your money that you dealing with, so choose well and do not complain in the end if something happens. There are all manner of ways to lose everything and it is not about the source, it is about the end result.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Quick sold out projects vs Slow sold out projects on: September 09, 2017, 07:56:57 AM
An ico can be a scam no matter what and that is the biggest cause of loss in the ico world. The quick sells are very often the ones that have a huge team, spread out in different locations that are working as a group to steal from people and use all kinds of methods, including the ico method. It is not about the validity of the project, the sell speed or anything else, in the end it is about the movement of the values and tokens after the close of the ico.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 09, 2017, 07:34:42 AM
Experience bear may not have anything to do with it the fact is that most of these Traders in the cryptocurrency field have no previous investment experience, although many of them do. The same thing can be said for trading in the Investments as for many other online jobs, whether you know what you're doing or not, if you do not have the ability to manage your own schedule and a motivate yourself you will never be able to do it. Let's face it, if you can't get up in the morning to get started then there's nowhere to go.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The next Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2017, 07:03:47 AM
This level of trust in Bitcoin and its value is based on nothing more than its history, anybody fresh off the street and has never heard of Bitcoin and it's been asked to pick a coin in the entire list of coins that they would trust to hold value over night, or over the course of 30 days would be very likely to pick Bitcoin.

That work has resulted in volume of its success and this leaves most of the other coins out of that picture. That's no way an effort to isolate other points away from Commerce it is just a matter of sheer amount of time that is gone into getting Bitcoin accepted more and more places, most people in cryptocurrency believe that the foundation of getting Bitcoin accepted will lead to other coins either almost automatically or with very little effort.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is Dead? on: September 09, 2017, 06:45:03 AM
So, when you deposit your other coin and try to change it into Bitcoin, you find that your options are pretty Limited. Even though you don't have a great huge amount of this other coin you still don't want to throw it away but changing it to bitcoin leaves you well after the withdrawal limit. Sometimes Doge works perfect for that exchange and still giving you something that you can withdraw. It's nice because litecoin can have the same types of limits.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now ETH is going down to the dip. You SOLD or HOLD? on: September 09, 2017, 06:29:34 AM
That's when coins like Eth have their Hay Day, no one ever comes to crypto currency through the Today Show looking for x coin that was just released last week. Eth is one of those Gateway coins, it is generally the Gateway from the tech groups, things like science computer magazines that talk about the innovations that it brought to the crytocurrency world.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 08, 2017, 02:02:56 PM
Right now there is no reason to change anything through a complete replacement, and that is fine. There are still many things to work out and that cash thing has some irrational hold on some people, whatever the reason. Let the transition take its time and let the system work the way it is supposed to. It takes time, but the end result is worth the wait.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: September 08, 2017, 10:49:52 AM
This is no surprise to those that have been around a while and it is no surprise to those that have the ability to look at the numbers and the history. It has been leading this way the whole life cycle and it is not going anywhere any time soon but up and up. So, there is not even really a discussion there, just to sit back and quietly appreciate the beauty of a system well done.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: September 08, 2017, 07:27:20 AM
That's the elementary base that everyone here should in their tool box, most of these guys have been around here for several months and even a year or two and have either set these facts our for themselves or have done so in a subconscious learning curve, but we appreciated the efforts. Crypto has made a quick student of some of these guys and they have either learned or died.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am looking for a project to invest in on: September 08, 2017, 02:14:36 AM
Ok, so I've made quite a lot of money during the last year and am looking for good projects to put this money to good use. Basically what I am looking for is the following, please get back to me if you know any project that match this criteria:

1. Market cap below 200k USD.
2. Very small or no premine.
3. Active developer that is very committed to the project.
4. Any kind of innovation or feature that makes this project unique.

I will off course do my own research before deciding whether to invest or no but my involvement in the project will basically mean that the price will increase at least 2x from current levels.

You have to make these choices and determinations on your own. There are way too many scams out there and you never really know which ones are going to cut and run with your money until it happens. Suggesting a project would put us on the firing line if that were to happen and believe me, stick around here long enough and someone will take you for all your money.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China the core up holder of Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2017, 02:05:06 AM
Nope, there are a couple of big bag holders there, but the country itself is not holding any coins. The main source of the exchanges is central Europe, although most of those coins would be considered more of a liquid financial holding and not the type that you are trying to refer to. The lot moves quite a bit and there are those of us that have a piece of the pie that is huge, but not really a bag holder sense.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin huge fees on: September 07, 2017, 09:38:24 PM
There is nothing that you can do about the fees at this point. You can set a lower fee in the TX, but the Tx will likely take forever to get dealt with on the chain. People need to learn to accept the fact that they are not in control of the exchanges and those companies will do what they want, it is the facts of business and it is not going to change.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: September 07, 2017, 04:04:22 PM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.
#1 and #3 makes me want to invest bitcoins. The virtual gold clings my ears since I always spend my time in internet making myself interested in virtual gold. Even though I'm dead in the year 2140 I still want to have some bitcoins in my life before I die. I have no idea on #2 but I know there many investors and I think they're the reason why bitcoin price reaches $5000. If the investors have a good reputation it really change the reputation of bitcoin from being illegal because of deep web but its image won't matter if well known investors such as Bill Gates enter the bitcoin world.
Don’t  expect Bill Gates or people like him to come and join you in bitcoin. Bitcoin can’t  give to them what their industries or companies gives to them. Take for example, you’re  offered an opportunity to be the Microsoft CEO for a day,  man one day as their CEO will make you want to spend the rest of your life in that position.
The Microsoft just interested with the blockchain and no more, as you can see the microsoft azure that was an example of the side chain that already built by them by the way. There will be the next blockchain in the future from the microsoft companies.

Microsoft started supporting Eth in the start but soon they realize that they had no option than to support bitcoins. In the latest version of their products like Microsoft Office and azure , they have supported Bitcoins in them. When we see all the big multinationals investing in bitcoins, this means that bitcoin has a great future and therefore it is best digital currency to invest in.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: September 07, 2017, 02:34:19 PM
I would also like a member of the development team with a strong business background. I think what happened with cryptocurrency is developers and coders got out there in the Forefront and their ideas got destroyed because they didn't have the business background to handle everything properly after that and the either failed because they could not handle the finances or they just got ripped apart by the business portion.
