221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Personal Automated Trading System across mutiple exchanges - BmyBit on: November 15, 2017, 06:15:50 PM
I know that the dev teams and those are there to make a profit and I appreciate that. But I think that lower fees would get you guys a lot more action. I have my own written code that trades, but I think that those that need a service like this are not prepared to drop ATM $600 to take a chance on using another persons method of trading.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Crypto experience on: November 15, 2017, 06:06:24 PM
Experience is great and knowledge is helpful too, but the real thing that many do not have is that feel. There are some of us, most of us that find a way where we can just smell scam on a thread or smell money.. That does not make that a 100% deal, and too many people on here choose to share that "feeling" as if it were the word of God himself, and that hurts a lot of good projects that got ran out of town before they could get started.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nova Exchange is Closing on: November 15, 2017, 05:30:44 PM
I noticed a lot of delisting in the past few months. This sucks because that is always a good go to site when no one else has a coin listed. i guess they had the legal issues or the money was not there, whatever gets them through the night. I am just glad to see that they are doing it the right way and not bailing with the last of the funds. That leaves only three other sites that will always be there with that off the wall coin that you needed on an exchange.

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][ICO] Coinlancer.io CL - Freelancers Of The World Unite - ICO| 14th OCT🌟 on: November 15, 2017, 05:00:49 PM
This is a long thread for such a short period. Still, until the end there is no way to tell one way or another what is going to come of it all. I have seen worse put together projects that showed a huge improvement after launch and initially paid well to those that were in the first group.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China to allow ICOs again on: November 15, 2017, 04:18:23 PM
There was never a doubt, and that is true for most of the people here I would hope. China plays around and tries this and that to see the effect that it is going to have it may not even be a negative thing that they are trying to do, just that to them their whole society, economy and country is there for whatever purpose.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you hold your coins? on: November 11, 2017, 05:20:48 PM
So i'm new to cryptocurrency, actually just started 2 days ago, was reading about cryptocurrency, and stumbled upon Neblio and decided to go for it.

Now i'm holding about 600$ worth of Neblio on Cryptopia, which i'm fairly certain it will reach at least 2x, but aiming at x4 early next year to be honest.

Anyway, i want to sit on the Neblio for a while, but i don't want to have it hostage on an Exchange, so what are the best and safer solutions, Desktop and Online to hold he currency?

In their wallets. I always love this question and I always wonder what they are considering as the "vast" number of alternate options. There are the wallets of the coin, on your computer, or on someones server. The rest is elementary. If it is BTC, than why have anything other than a light wallet, but beyond that there is really not much to think about and really not anything that bear discussion on a forum, so you have at it.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What New Coins that has Limited Coin Supply on: November 11, 2017, 05:09:03 PM
I know of know coin that does not have a static supply, that is how the software works. I cannot think how it could be done any other way. There are ways to make that limit more or less, but not to make it infinite, i don't think, maybe I am wrong, but I don't think so.
There would be no point to it either way, there are not a lot that people can do to manipulate it in that way, so there is no reason, unless you are the dev that it should really come up in the beginning.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Marketing on: November 11, 2017, 02:36:58 PM
You need to have a team. There needs to be business people, marketer and coders on the team. Not many programmers can do marketing and promoting and not many promoters can code a coin. Even a perfect, well rounded jack of all trades cannot do these all at the same time. There must be a few people involved and that means that everything gets it proper attention. A broken wallet can destroy a coin/ICO because the two person team cannot both fix the software and answer the hundreds of concerns coming in
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: November 11, 2017, 01:11:58 PM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Oh i suggest not to put all your money into it why? This is not to discourage you but just to remind you that you might loose your money in no time, because we do not know how people will going to hold if the price increases. So I suggest not to put all your money into it and keep your money only in one coin for now and that is the Bitcoin.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to sell ERC20 Tokens ? on: November 11, 2017, 12:59:32 PM
Hi i am seeing in alt coin section there will be stakes distributed and it is asking for Ethereum  address which accepts ERC20 Token . I do understand ERC20 tokens are digital assets . How i can sell these tokens and get ether or other coins ?? Please help
The token thing can be confusing, but it can also give you extra options, like the ability to be less transparent and to have more coin control. There are reasons and those can make or break it for the devs.  Also, for the clients to,  but those same things that make them good also hurt the prices sometimes, either way, you give and you take.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell altcoins before the fork? on: November 11, 2017, 12:29:18 PM
Hi guys,
in your opinion, it's time to buy or sell this sh*tcoins?  Huh

Why? There is no reason that is going to change anything for you. There is nothing to worry about at all, but if there was, then it would be a direct BTC thing that you would need to deal with and the alts would be only indirectly affected.

This is not something that selling them for one coin or another is going to fix, it is just going to be a one way or the other thing.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best PoS Altcoin? on: November 11, 2017, 12:14:24 PM
What is your recommendation for the best Altcoin with Proof-of-Stake or some other function of earning more coins without needing mining equipment like ASICs or graphics rigs?

(I already have TZC, it's good)

They are so different that it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There are some that you have to keep the wallet in a certain state, other options and criteria are there. There is a difference between a useful wallet and one that you are going to leave running 24 hours a day. We have a couple of old PC's in the back that run ten POS wallets each, that is something that some on these coins need .  Smiley
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: November 11, 2017, 11:51:43 AM
I just logged into MEW and when check my balance everything except 45 tokens everything else has gone! My wallet was hacked, but where have all my tokens gone?

I am devastated. Has anyone else been hacked how is this possible?

I am not sure what to do! please advice folks.a

Yeah, happened to a couple people, not a new thing either. It is something that happens every so often, one wallet or another. Might not be that site, probably another new wallet or coin out there it is something that came around this week or the last, OH MY, could it be that Bitcoin Gold wallet that every site has and they do not even use the same daemon?Huh? Hmm, you guys enjoy that and enjoy the new wallets, either way, you were giving your coin away anyway.

235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie question: What is an airdrop and are they worth participating in? on: November 06, 2017, 02:39:11 PM
I see people asking about airdrops all the time.

What are they and how do you figure out if one is worth participating in?

You won't know until they are over. There are a couple out there and the coins are real, but the value of those coins is unknown until the release date. Also, if you are getting those coins, so are a lot of other people. It is like that adage about just printing more money to make an economy stronger, when all it does is provide a level amount to each person and that means that the relative adjustment is nil.

237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: October 31, 2017, 02:56:03 PM
There are differences in some of the exchanges, but those are the nearly identical that I have seen, so the comparison is really just which one has the coin that you need to have or hold and which one has the better price at the time. There are always some coins on there because those are one of few exchanges that have that random coin we want. Other than that, I find both pretty much the same.
238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 31, 2017, 09:46:38 AM
No, but it does get to be a lot of fun when the money starts hitting. There is nothing like that first big hit, when you turned pretty much nothing into a nice little return. If it wasn't fun at some points you might just do something else, well, not really, lol. But, the fact is that it is something far removed from what would be considered work.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade Bitcoin anonymously? on: October 31, 2017, 08:41:46 AM
In the USA, good luck, other places there is still a good chance. We still have clients that combine sites like localbitcoins and trading for the exit strategy, but believe what you want, there is little that is anonymous in the real exchange of FIAT to BTC and back again. Despite what you feel and believe, there are eyes on you every minute of the day, and they know what you do and do not do.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIVO - Masternodes, ASIC-Resistant, Secure, High MN Rewards, Decentralized on: October 31, 2017, 07:46:38 AM
We got into some when it was first announced and now we are taking another look. Not sure what happened that we forgot about it. The coin was nothing really special, but the trading has serious potential and that is why we are here yes? I love the fact that one coin from another, no difference at all, and one makes us rich and the other nothing.
