301  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: October 06, 2017, 05:50:49 AM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

Nobody can holding 800 Bitcoin for long term Or i should say longest are you sure you buy it on August 2010 and still holding it?.
Anyways Which loan you're taking about here .You mean taking loan from banks and converting them to bitcoins. Since bitcoin price is not stable and there are a lot of other factors which makes the loan btc option a bad one if the things don't go as expected in terms of price of bitcoins.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: October 06, 2017, 05:37:06 AM
I think the reason why retailers not accepting Bitcoin is its price. Bitcoin has no fixed price. Its decrease and increase every minute and second reason is population using the bitcoins . Its true bitcoin is famous but not much, not every person aware about this currency. Come out of this forum and you will find no one knows about the bitcoins.

So maybe we should wait maybe they start accepting bitcoin in future when every one of us has bitcoins with them and they know how to use them.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: October 06, 2017, 05:08:04 AM
Yes, after banning the local bitcoin exchange in china bring a big effect in the bitcoin world. China is the largset users of bitcoin and most of the traders and investors are from china. Now that they are out on bitcoin it lessens the number of investors and traders.

For me its a bad news. Since the Chines use crypto more than other and the number of bitcoin users in china is higher than other countries . But its not gonna effect on bitcoin neither its value in long term .The price of bitcoins were decreased a bit because of this news  but its covered now.
The moral of the story is Not to panic on such news and trends and keep holding on, till the price recovers.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading? on: October 06, 2017, 01:35:26 AM
Go to the exchange and sign in, assuming that you have your Bitcoins deposited, try this. It is higher risk, but gives you a smaller list to look at. Every exchange has a running list of coins and their price changes on the front page. Red numbers are dropping prices, green are rising. Grab a handful of those that are dropping, not buy them, note them on paper. Some, the price drop will end in crap, some it is a temporary thing.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Someone from 2020 contacted me on: October 06, 2017, 01:17:10 AM
He sent me this pic:

Hahaha. This pic made my day. Anyways we can just hope this pic become real before 2020.The future of bitcoin seems bright. You remind John Titor i heard its still a mystery. This guy come from 2036 and warn us from nuclear war.
We dont know about the future, bit if things go smoothly for bitcoins and the world is not in a war situation, bitcoin can surely reach to the target mentioned in the above pic.

306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good news to bitcoin traders. on: October 05, 2017, 06:16:30 PM
This is also another point that needs to be noted. Recognize that the fear and the rumors and the selling that came from this "ban" was all for nothing. Many of us here said this would never stick and to relax, we also said that if it did happen, the price should not be affected much. Learn to hear those that have been around awhile and learn to apply a good amount of doubt to the rumor mill.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to most people change their BTC back into fiat? on: October 05, 2017, 05:00:40 PM
Two places I know of are the most common, right on the exchange and sites like paxful. The drawback to the exchange is KYC regulations and those hoops. The other sites do not require much, but depending on the exit FIAT form, the rates can be highly tipped against you. Best to make the FIAT exchanges as rarely as possible.
308  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Launch of Blockolo - User Adoption for Crypto Businesses on: October 05, 2017, 04:48:30 PM
Nope, goes against crypto. That is a centralization that we have avoided and continue to avoid. No one trusts your judgement as far as giving you their info and no one needs you enough to act on it. Your service may work better outside of crypto and that is where you belong, not here, trying to information gather in a decentralized environment.
309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 dollars into a million on: October 05, 2017, 04:26:16 PM
That will either take a good amount of time or a good amount of luck and with luck comes a healthy dose of risk. Last year we power mined a coin that was at 1 Satoshi and sold the next day for $68, not a fortune, but the return was a very high percentage. Nearly a 4000 times increase. Your $10, times 4000 would only be $40,000. That was a lucky moment in the market, so you would need something like 25-30 lucky hits and never a loss, not a good chance of that happening.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me a bitcoin wallet on: October 05, 2017, 03:02:31 PM
There are a couple of good wallets both online and offline and the fees are high and the terms and conditions are rough. Most of them do not have legal rights to operate to USA customers and that only stops about half of them. That means that if you are lucky enough to get on those and get approved, then they can easily bail on your cash, as they have no legal responsibility to you as you have broken the law in doing business with them .

311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold fork on: October 05, 2017, 03:01:22 AM
Hello,
I am a relatively new investor in Bitcoin, and recently I have been reading about a fork to Bitcoin gold. My understanding is that everyone who owns Bitcoin receives the equivalent number of coins in the forked currency, once the fork takes place. Is this correct?

Do I have to store my Bitcoin in a specific wallet (I might be new, but I'm not stupid enough to send my coin to you ;-) ), or do anything to activate this, or will it happen automatically? (If the fork goes ahead, of course).

Thanks for any advice.
Same as the last "fork". New coins that are based on the original code are technically forks, but we have not used that terms for them. That method is closer to what Bitcoin Cash did and yet they called it a fork to make everyone that didn't get all the codes changes in Bitcoin done feel better. I dont see much changes to the original bitcoin.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better news on: October 04, 2017, 11:52:04 PM
There was never really an issue. too much fear and not enough research is where the common trader falls apart and that will eventually be their downfall, thank God. Once most of the current fear traders have gone broke or run away scared, the the markets will feel smoother, until the next group climbs on board and tips the boat.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin goes past $5000, what will the Chinese government do? on: October 04, 2017, 04:34:58 PM
Same thing they do every day , NOT CARE! They are not sitting around and giving thought to the plight of the world with or without Bitcoin. It is just one of hundreds of regulations that they touch every single day and very small news in their world. They will not give it another thought until they have another reg change come through and then they will make a choice and move on to important things, just like now.

314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: October 03, 2017, 06:11:18 PM
The price is $4200 right this minute, what was it before you looked? If you say it is down, then I need to find the exchange you were using a couple hours before that where the price was higher than $4300. People forget that these things are still there for all to see and that the time stamps are pretty clear. That combined with a transparent blockchain and it makes your thread pretty interesting, doesn't it?
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I convert LiteCoins to bitcoins on: October 03, 2017, 05:14:43 PM
This is a indeed in elementary question. You just go to The Exchange deposit the Bitcoin or the other coin and then make the exchange there. The things that you need to work out for this is a deed in elementary question. You just go to the exchange deposit the Bitcoin or the other coin and it make the exchange there. The things that you need to work out for our the best exchange rates. Also you need to make sure that you're benefit withdrawal is going to be back. Otherwise you're going to end up with coins on that site that you can not
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dual PSU combine different PSUs on: October 03, 2017, 04:57:09 PM
No one is clicking a link here on the forum. Generally, too much output is not a problem on a PSU and the brand is meaningless, other than some are better than others. It is kind of like asking if you can use a 20 foot van to move your box of crayons. Yes, it should be fine, but make sure that you check and double check everything, as it always true with rig building.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a beginner, I want to start trading. What should i do? on: October 03, 2017, 04:38:27 PM
Watch the exchanges and try to guess which way the prices will go. A cool thing to do is watch the chat box, and then track the prices of the coins mentioned there are see how the chat alters the price. Complete and total BS can make or break a coin and often does, a negative comment about the dev and the price drops, true of not.
318  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Where can I buy 50 Bitcoins below market value? on: October 03, 2017, 04:18:54 PM
I am looking to buy 50 bitcoins below market value. Does any know if this is possible and can give me some direction as to where to go please?

I would hit localbitcoins and paxful. If you have enough Bitcoin in the balance there, then you can advertise and make public trades that meet your requirements. It sounds odd, but you would first have to buy something like half a Bitcoin and leave that in there as guaranteed escrow, you can take it out any time. Otherwise, you can still use the offers on there and over time make it happen. Either way, that is the best place for the cut rate trades and it is going to take some time.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you mine via a desktop browser on: October 01, 2017, 07:07:54 AM
Hi

Are there any websites I can mine via a browser?

I have never touched it, but the assumption should be that of the three PC mining, browser mining and cloud mining, browser mining should be the least effective. From what I have seen, there is no such thing as hitting the GPU in browser mining and you would not be getting a good direct shot at the CPU without the browser having more elevation than it should in the system. It is there as a nifty thing for people to get attracted to.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear trap or continuing upward trend?? on: October 01, 2017, 06:16:47 AM
Don't you think the people of ask the same question over the past four years? Look at the history it went from 0 to 5000 and it's going to keep going up. Of course people have ask themselves if it's going to keep going up or not but the fact is it continues to do so. What you do is you write that out until it starts to come down.  Bitcoin is steadily moving again towards 5000$ and we all want that to happen.
