721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: May 27, 2017, 03:40:33 PM
I always plan about how much I will spend on a particular day on gambling. This way I know when to leave whether I have profit or loss. I gamble only for fun and not for profit. As profit is never sure. Sometimes when I win big then also I leave the game. But that is rare happening though.

Well no matter you leave or not, no matter you lose or win  just make sure one thing that you win more often than losing in gambling, so that it keeps you interested in gambling. If you lose all the time , soon you will get fed up and you wont even come to gambling even for fun.
I think fun only comes in gambling when you win and no one feel fun in losing.
722  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: May 27, 2017, 03:26:57 PM
It is really good to invest right now because for me, bitcoin nowadays really in demand and it increases every year, so I think in the next 10yrs it wll increases more and we should start to invest now than later.  Grin
I think nobody can hold their bitcoin for 10 years. I do not think you should hold your bitcoin for too long because you can make a profit even if you just hold it in a short time

I think if people can save gold for 10 years or more , why not Bitcoins ? But with bitcoins people are temped to sell whenever they see a big pump and also some people wont trust bitcoin to be profitable for 10 years. These are few reason which make people sell their bitcoins.
I still suggest people to save as much bitcoins as possible.
723  Economy / Speculation / Re: whoohoo what a dump, now great opportunity to get back in on: May 27, 2017, 01:53:03 PM
What a massive dump on Bitcoin and altcoin, now is the opportunity to load up on bitcoin and altcoin, get ready for a new wave

1 think rebuying btc at about 1800-1900 usd

you think it will go lower?

That is a massive dump, really, but I think it is just a chamce for the people who didn't invest, so I guess we must invest now while we can.

Yes, this low price of bitcoin wont stay for long and i think it is time that we can buy in a lot of bitcoins. This is the best chance for people to buy cheap. Everyone know bitcoin is no going to die and also the prices will rise to 3000$ to 5000$ by end of this year. Lets see how low it gets before it start rising again  Smiley
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do the Chinese really control the majority share of mining farms? on: May 27, 2017, 01:13:59 PM
they do mine the majority. if they started to censor transactions regularly i'm pretty sure the bitcoin community would be so outraged they'd find themselves mining nothing when they changed the proof of work.

i'd say they are vulnerable to political pressure because it's so centralized. they can't hide and they must be known to authorities. if that pressure spilt over into affecting bitcoin users again they'd be on their own.

The government is trying to brainwash people into giving the miners %100 controls with clients like Buggy Unlimited. They know that they can't simply begin to start censoring transactions because the community would rebel, but after years of brainwashing people in telling them full validating nodes don't matter and how we need onchain coffees, the chinese miners could end up with datacenters running nodes and miners in other words BTC becomes chinacoin.

I hope that china does not succeed in this plan. We all like bitcoins because of its decentralize property. If somehow china take control of bitcoin and make it central, it will be bad for china itself as people will leave the bitcoin make the price of bitcoin to be worthless.
However, china do own most of the mining farms due to low electricity cost but i hope they dont take bitcoin in the wrong direction.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: high fees, bitcoin or ethereum! on: May 21, 2017, 06:48:12 PM
when looking at below picture remember these:
  • bitcoin apart from increased adoption has been under a heavy spam attack.
  • there is no block size problem in ethereum.
  • number of etehreum transactions are ~0.3 bitcoin.
  • there are lot of transaction in bitcoin mempool competing and causing the fee rise.
  • there is no backlog in ethereum!

just for fun:
Buterin: "bitcoin transactions cost five cents.... it is absurd"
fast forward to 2017: ethereum fees are 50 cents! and it is not even adopted by any real thing!

I still dont get it why you people are so much concern about the fee. Just compare Bitcoin or ETH with fiat and you will realize how good the Bitcoin is with no taxes, no high fee for sending money outside of country, easy spending online and no more hassle of paper work required in order to get a credit card for online spending.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: May 21, 2017, 06:30:08 PM
I could certainly say cryptocurrencies are new era of currency if not bitcoin alone. Moreover, it is not just about currency. Blockchain technology is itself a big innovation. It provides decentralised transactions between everyone and in future between everything when Internet of Things will become more prominent.

Bitcoin started this and now we see a lot of altcoins making up a real digital currency world where we see no sign of paper money etc. No more involvement of government in regulating the currency as digital currency is decentralized and control by the people themselves.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power Usage for Bitcoin on: May 21, 2017, 06:19:59 PM
I really think that there is a future for Bitcoin except that I fear it may crash because of the ever increasing need for power to keep the blockchain going. Is my fear justified?

I am an 81 year old guy who is trying to understand this thing.

Thanks for your concern but power is not a big issue in the bitcoins. Even if Bitcoin is used at its peak i will still say that mining will continue to be as it is now. The places where mining are done extensively, the power is already very cheap there and therefore this factor will have no impact on bitcoin price.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not FIX the Transaction Fee? on: May 21, 2017, 06:06:19 PM
I think BTC will become a tool for the rich class only anytime soon.

Not really, i think bitcoin will remain an everyone currency. We need to fix and sort out the Tx Fee issue and more importantly the slow transaction fee which is not good for faster purchasing market. I think Miners needs to think a way so no one feels burden on the Tx issue.
Currently you can see lots of people complaining about the amount of fee they send for a transaction and time it takes for the confirmations.
729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: May 21, 2017, 05:32:36 PM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
There is no actually fixed income in trading regardless if its is bitcoin related, foreign exchange related or stock exchange related. As long as you trade, everythng in market would be unpredictable since there is no accepted market that always grow up its value.

If you do trading by yourself, you would have know that there is no fix income with trading. It varies from day to day and how much one earn in a day.
But some Big and experienced traders are giving the opportunity to the small investors to just invest in their trade and get weekly or monthly fixed daily profit. Maybe OP is referring to that scheme as Fixed income with btc trading, but that is rather a more of an investment .
730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to see multiple coins same time easily? on: May 21, 2017, 05:03:32 PM
I'm newbie and find it hard to click all the time coins in Poloniex markets list to check out whats going on with many coins.

What's best 3rd party website which allows to see multiple coins charts simultaneously and maybe even show easily price in different exchanges?

Thanks

You are right about your concern. We need a solution where we can find all prices of altcoin in one exchange and also in one go. If you are Iphone User i will recommend to use "blackfolio" app. That will give you the current prices of most Alts and also in all exchanges. There you can also set Alerts for your favorite coins and it will alert you if the certain coin is above or below the rate you set as an alarm.
731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: May 21, 2017, 04:33:51 PM
Hey guys.

How can I increase my bitcoin money? I am a bit curious to those people who can easily make money “btc” grow fast. How do they it correctly?
Can I ask a bit of advice on how to manage it like what you do?
Of course I know many people here want to know too.

Maybe it is good to share a little of it. It would be great if we grow together.

1.investing
2.tradings
3.gambling
4. Service(no need investing but needed skills to earn)
5. Mining hardwares

Those mentioned above are the choices for you to earn btc although some of them are so risky but yet its totally the best way to earn for now, and fornthe choices i gave i like the services since i can earn some huge btc from service type of works and i also earn some profits from ICO, but i am to choosy and selects only those potential and putting on them some money when bunoses are still yet existed.
Out of these, avoid gambling. Its not advisable to indulge in this to increase bitcoins. You could even loose your holdings. You could try mining. But powerful ASICs are required nowadays to  mine bitcoins. Also check your country's electricity charges.Trading is the best and legit source of earning bitcoins.Even though its risky,if you start trading with prior experience, you could earn more bitcoins.
I agree with you, gambling should not be in the list because its really risky, its not a way to grow your bitcoins because instead you will earn you might lose your money. trading with btc and altcoins is best for me to grow my btc.
Sure, gambling is not a way to increase our bitcoin, it just makes our bitcoin quickly disappear, the risk comes from gambling is too big and I do not see too many people succeed in gambling. I think the best way to increase bitcoin is now trading and investing because if we have professional knowledge and experience in these two areas, we will earn huge profits, sometimes x2 or x3 of our capital in a short time. Both have certain risks but the greater the risk, the bigger the return
Aside from services that you can do, all these other options have their own risks one way or another. You just have to play with those risks and be smart about it. Though I agree that gambling has the greater risk of making you lose money especially in the long run. Trading and investing would have similar chance of profit depending on how to prepare for either. But in general, I think the key is to have knowledge on what you're doing and making rational decisions

Getting bitcoins for services offered is the most secure option to gather the bitcoins but then not everyone have skills to offer services. This is the reason people choose gambling and investment in sites to increase their  bitcoins, but these are full of risks and some people end up losing Bitcoins instead of winnings.
732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: May 21, 2017, 03:17:50 PM
At the moment, yes. But I'm planning to buy some altcoins that I think can have a place next to BTC in the future. Coins like DCR, LTC, ETH and maybe future coins with good potential. It's always good to diversify for safety and more profit.

Well if you are not similar with altcoins, all the funds in bitcoins is a good option. I would suggest you that if you are really willing to start investment in Altcoins, first get familiar with them and try yo gather opinion on which ones to buy and on how much cost and quantity. Choosing an exchange also should be done accpurding to the amount you willing to invest to buy the altcoins. All in All,  understand it well, before making a decision.
733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 21, 2017, 03:05:42 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

I will try to get it back and wait for the profit. Its better to put up a risk than a permanent loss.
I think it is better to learn more about trading and obtain more knowledge in this field before returning to it. As I can see, people always tend to do something without thinking because they think that they are great enough to start an activity by themselves. Therefore, if you lose, learn more and you will be better
yeah people always ooking for the shortcut to earn profit ,
trading without knowledge and based on nothing nowadays have been practiced by a lot of people ,
and it makes them always hurry in make any decision ,
include whe get some loss they can't accept it , and  immediately try to recover it, you need to be patient when do trading.

Do not panic, no matter what happens is the first rule of trading. Even if you are at a lost, never sell the coins for cheap. You should make up your mind that even if you have to wait for 1 or 2 months, you will not sell your coins in less than the price you buy. This way you can minimize loss. The Altcoins will surely rise after the dip, so need to be patience.
734  Economy / Services / Re: StorJ Signature and Avatar Campaign | Earn upto 0.00052 BTC/post | [CFNP] on: May 21, 2017, 02:59:03 PM
Is any New slots open today after the first payment as 1st Round has ended?
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which coin is best for tradding??? on: May 21, 2017, 07:18:37 AM
OP, at first tell me what do you mean in word "best"? You want such coin which will be low priced when you buy and high priced when you decide to sell, am I right? Everyone acts like a newbie in trading, if we trade blindly like you. Better for you to learn analyze of information, read more and after those two, you won't ask this question again. Every coin is best, it depends on how person trades with them.

haha, it never happens. We buy a coin at low price thinking we bought the best coin but as soon as we buy it, it goes further down, making our decisions the worst one.  And what more a newbie trader do in panic, is sell the coins in loss making it a total loss and then declare trading a scam.
Every coin is good if traded with the trading techniques and ethics.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: May 21, 2017, 06:42:41 AM
At the moment I can't realy save the bitcoins but I'm trying to change that and from my perspective saving is for the need, for the future not for fun. Fun is spending bitcoins.  Grin If the price continues to go that way bitcoin savings have the nice future.

Well, everyone saves the money for future purpose and no one save if for Fun of course. I have a mixture of spending and saving bitcoins too. I spend which is absolute  necessary and rest i save it for my future. Saving bitcoins has double benefits as with the period of one or two years, you can find yourself in the list of millionaire if you have 3 to 4 bitcoins only.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the first mainstream CNBC video in defense of bitcoin on: May 20, 2017, 11:59:17 PM
Cheesy  The news caster must secretly be holding lots of btc.  Cheesy

That's the reason they normally have a disclaimer saying they're not invested in the stock/commodity they're giving a positive review for.

I wonder how many celebrities and famous people on tv are closet btc supporters. A lot of politicians and high ranking military engage in insider trading. Wouldn't be surprised to learn many of them are holding btc or crypto.

Exactly, many of the popular people especially the corrupt politicians must be holding their black money in the form of BTC. The anonymous  feature of bitcoin make it easy for the black money to be hidden.
But then we cannot blame bitcoin for this, as bitcoin is not bad itself as a currency. Its just some people uses bitcoin in the favor of bad acts.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 20, 2017, 11:46:39 PM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act
Bitcoin is not going to fall for such a small thing, this creates bad publicity of course, but think of it this way, windows machines are prone to get virus unlike mac and Linux machines and yet people keep using windows despite all the disadvantages, bitcoin will be the same, bitcoin will be used for bad stuff but most people will use it for good.

Also see that Ransomeware has no negative impact on Bitcoin, We did not seen even the slightest dip of price in bitcoins on the Ransomware virus. We are now seeing the all time high price of bitcoins and i doubt it will ever fall down. Bitcoin has been no longer a pump dump coins which cannot be dumped on negatives news or anything like that.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 20, 2017, 07:12:17 PM
You can earn the most bitcoins by freelancing. In my opinion its easier to find jobs that way as you are in a nieche that you can manage for yourself.

You can earn bitcoins by doing the advertisement. It basicly come to a signature campaign on this forum, but not only that. You can participate in a lot of others affiliate programs.

If you want to have a fun while earning a bit, and you do not mind the low payment, you can play games like Satoshigalaxy.com - an awesome MMORPG, or a Bitfootball.net - a football manager.

See in the few lines you have given so many ways to earn bitcoins. You just have to make up your mind that you will learn about the bitcoins and its future. Once your mind is ready, you just have to search google and you will find enormousness bitcoins earning opportunity. You can start even with a low payout work but it will gradually increase with time.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 20, 2017, 06:47:50 PM
Bitcoin being commercialized on the Television would allow more people that haven't heard about Bitcoin to get involved with Bitcoin. Since there's people that like to make money doing a bunch of odd things then I am pretty sure that there would be people who will be interested in making money by only investing their money into Bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin on the TV will make it further more interesting and popular. Recently Bitcoin has been in the media with the news of Ransomware virus. Even though the News is not good but by this many people who were totally ignorant about the bitcoins, now seems to have some know how of this future cryptocurrecy.
