is there any place you guys have been staples stores that accept payment using bitcoin, because I had to be pioneered, may be slightly users because not many people know, hopefully this will be so many people using bitcoin as a means of transaction
I think that there are few store that you can go to buy your daily needs using bitcoin, and also here in the Philippines you can pay your water and electric bills through our bitcoin wallet. Oh woah, that's so awesome, I can't even imagine having water and electricity bills paid with bitcoin here in my country. And buying daily needs with bitcoin directly is somehow a fairy tale here. If I want to use my bitcoin in reality, the only way is to find bitcoin ATMs and cash out some fiat money. But anyways, I still feel lucky to at least have 2 bitcoin ATMs here  I can only pay bills in bitcoin in my country and there are no bitcoins ATM at the moment here. I wonder how Bitcoin ATM works ? Does Bitcoins ATM convert the bitcoins into local currency and gives you local cash ? Just curious to know from a genuine user of ATM like you. |

Just by your statement, Bitcoin used by 1% of the people in the world and you see it is at 1000$. Just imagine if 50% people uses bitcoin how high the price will be because as demand increases, the price will increase too. Yeah this year seems to be a great year for bitcoin as the amount of negative news of bitcoin is decreasing from what I can see. And bitcoin reached a peak in those very first days of 2017 so that's a good sign. Although there is nothing that we can predict about the future but I believe bitcoin will gain lots of success and people's trust and become an all-time-wanted currency Bitcoin was at highest peak at start of this year but now again we see bitcoin going to back same high price. This is really good for bitcoins lovers as they know that bitcoin high price is a stable one and it will encourage more traders and investors to invest in this coin. There are so many altcoins out there that is very difficult to be smart and pick a good coin. I personally believe in bitcoin I also bought some creditbit at good price, i like their vision, now they are moving on ethereum platform and have some really cool stuff, hope i would gain more profit on long term.
Yeah too many alts make it difficult to select. Now I have been learning. I have not much knowledge of these new coins. But why the exchanges are not playing a role for the people. They can trade only those coins which are good and have necessary codes. Also They should Ban the Coins which are scams so people investments are save. |

It is not too hard to buy bitcoin in my place. Although the exchange I am buying it from requires some details about me, that is not a big concern for me. I think the problem is more of my lack of funds for buying a huge amount.
Its good that you can buy bitcoins but generally for most people its not that easy.Most of the exchanges requires verification before they issue Bitcoins. In my country i have only one Website which gives me bitcoins but for that i first have to deposit money in my local bank and then transfer it to their account and they issue me coins and also detects fee. In this way , you have sure you get bitcoin and not that worry for scammer because they have full process on buying yet is this accessible all the time? So I guess OP, the website where you buy bitcoin is being strict because of too much scammers that tried to scammed them. It is not that big deal if you really want to. |

Nothing is guaranteed about the future especially when it comes to bitcoin. Surely, bitcoin will make its way to the top and reach high price in this year but do you think that bitcoin increasing $25 per day is some kind of fairy tale? I mean its price would go sky high but it won't have a steady rise like that, it will fluctuating dramatically before reaching its goal.
Yeah, impossible yet the chance is there since we are growing in population and being known all over the world, though it was predicted years ago we hope that bitcoin value will reach that amount, and an increase of $25 will be great if so. |

in my place there are no single store that accept bitcoin even most of the people doesn't know what is bitcoin,it is nice to see people can bought something using bitcoin, I only can bought things from internet, but with the grow of bitcoin i believe one day there will be a store using bitcoin in my city

Same here mate, although the wages gets increased and the provincial rate became the same with the rate of what the city has, the unemployment rate remains the same. Actually I can see that there are little changes on the economy here in my country but still it's not enough to make a solution to reduce the unemployment rate as well as the poverty . Many country suffering with the same situation, the worst thing in this case is mostly the job given by government that affect mostly the economic status of the state or country. Poverty is not that easy to escape on, each country have an issue with that even the most developed country in the world it’s because of the unemployment. |

Honestly I don't know how the term mass adoption would be defined.
Bitcoin is mainly an online currency and a few million people all around the globe use it already.
From that point of view you could say that a mass of people has already adopted it.
But will a majority of the people use bitcoin one day?
I don't think so. People like their fiat, and for most of them there is no need to go into bitcoin.
No doubt few million people around the world uses Bitcoins, but mass adoption means more than 70 percent of the population uses bitcoins. I think this is for now look nearly impossible because to be able to use bitcoins everywhere and in every shop, it requires good infrastructure of Internet and PC everywhere and everyone know the basic to use computers. All this is not possible at once. |

I always think good for bitcoin's price. But it unpredictable, because many time when we think that not happened in future and about bitcoin price i think it will be grow more than $1000 but if when bitcoin not come back. But if bitcoin come back than may be bitcoin couldn't cross $1000.
Most of us has his own prediction about bitcoin, and most of our speculations are not true unless it already happened... There is no bad in predicting good for the future, but just don't expect that it is what is really going to happen... I too believe that in 2018 we are already above $1000 and probably not expecting to go down to that price...  But i saw last year, many members have predicted that in the end of 2016, bitcoin might be cross $1000. and it come true. That's why i say some predictions could work, not all the speculations will be true, but when people said than its mean something will be happened. And i predict about 2018 bitcoin give us good news for its price wise. |

paper money use is already decreasing due to wider use of electronic payment methods, but don't confuse less paper money with less fiat, people use just as much fiat as yesterday, and that's not going to change, we are just using less cash.
It is right, we are just using less cash. Because in short, we are using credit and debits cards, that's why we feel easy to use them instead of paper money. Because i bought bitcoins into lowest price when bitcoin was under $400 and now i sold them when bitcoin was $1025, So you could guess, i have done good in investment wise because of bitcoin.

I think that's all we should do, we must learn how to stop when we are losing so we will not be able to lose more. I like to gamble when I have a good feeling that I am lucky, but usually due to some kind of greediness inside of me, I push my luck and end up losing everything. This is something I need to learn which is to control, and it should be on a consistent manner. But i think we should not have profit target. Because in gambling, it is too hard to achieve profit target, we win in gambling only luck base and we lose our money because we have no control to save our money. Only stop when you feel your pocket not allow to play again than should stop. |

I think bitcoin has the potential to replace not only the dollar but fiat as whole, the problem is I don’t think it is going to be anytime soon and also the governments will do anything they can to avoid that to happen.
No way, if bitcoin would be replace any other currency, So why Bitcoin come in this world? Because we already use different fiat currencies. You know bitcoin is come because Satoshi want to introduce a different and unic currency that's why it is crypto.
