201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 28, 2023, 10:29:34 PM
My first pick went to sports betting....
Sport betting will be the most choice for people at the end of the poll. The major reason is because the many options to bet on, that is the sports is very many and of interest to many people in different countries depending on popularity in their place. Maybe you can make another topic @OP and include another poll if sportsbetting wins this poll to know the sport under sportsbetting that people on this gambling side and those that choose sportsbetting bet on the most, for fun of course.

^ Even me, the first pick was sports bets and I did not surprise by the number of voters there which I know is very common here.
The reason could be because of online sports gambling platforms are easily accessible to anyone with an internet connection. This accessibility opens up opportunities for people who gamble while watching their favorite sports. That way, it allows people to place bets from the comfort of their own homes or on the go using their mobile devices. However, crash and dice are also good games but I play them when I am bored and wanted to have fun.
202  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 28, 2023, 10:17:11 PM
~snip~
afaik, the KYC problem lies only in whether or not you believe in the gambling site you are playing on, however, don't give your personal data carelessly, but if you are sure of the gambling site you are playing on, there's nothing wrong with that.
^That is the problem here, the word entrust must be what you will find first in the casinos.
Because for me KYC measures are typically implemented by reputable gambling sites to ensure compliance with regulations and to establish the identity of their customers, thereby enhancing security and preventing fraudulent activities. Consequently, if you have taken the necessary precautions and have confidence in the platform's credibility, there may be no inherent harm in providing the required personal information as part of the KYC process. Probably it is always prudent to exercise discretion and ensure that you are comfortable with the level of trust you place in the gambling site before disclosing any sensitive data.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 26, 2023, 09:51:49 PM
~snip~
Welp! Me too. I've once become an addict and this is a very common scenario to me. It turns to the point that I myself don't even believe in my own words. Being addicted to something really makes us lose our self control. I remember that I lost multiple times because of just promising myself to stop playing but I still keep playing until I lose so much money. I believe that having weak self control will head you towards being an addict. I'm just amazed on how much I evolved from being no self control to having a pure control of my gambling status right now.
This is how addiction kicks in when you don't know how to overcome the feelings during gambling. Greed and fear make us emotional and all emotional decisions can lead to the bad endings sooner or later. Being addicted hurts but no one is guaranteed to control himself when the loss becomes too big to handle. Controlling your emotions shouldn't be hard if you know what you are doing, IMO. I suggest using specific gambling block software to avoid excessive gambling in the future. Using old phones with number keypads may help as well to avoid entering casino websites.
^ Because for me, you can make an important observation about how addiction can take hold when individuals struggle to change their emotions during gambling. The potent combination of greed and fear often leads to emotionally-driven decisions, which can probably result in unfavorable outcomes. It could be also an addiction can be incredibly damaging, and when losses become overwhelming, it becomes increasingly challenging to exert control. However, managing our emotions does not have to be an insurmountable task if we possess the necessary understanding and tools. One suggestion I have is to explore the use of specific gambling block software, which can act as a barrier to excessive gambling in the future.

204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 26, 2023, 09:40:54 PM
The lottery is all about luck... I think that even with more tickets chances of hitting the jackpot are still slim. I never played state (or any other) lottery, I don't see some entertainment in that, I am more for some other gambling games, more dynamic ones.

I don't like lotteries, at least I don't like to buy tickets. But I like to collect tickets with playing (wagering, depositing...), it's something I find interesting.
At least people thought that if they could buy more tickets, their chances of getting the prize would be bigger too. That's why people continue to buy lottery tickets because they still hope to be the winner and be able to bring home the prize. They never think winning is difficult but still love buying lottery tickets. Sometimes there is a special preoccupation with seeing the ticket numbers that can come out so the ticket owner becomes the winner. And for those who lose, they still don't stop buying at a later time because they want to be the winner.
^There are people who really want to find their luck at low odds because, for me, it is understandable that people believe buying more lottery tickets increases their chances of winning the prize? The hope of becoming a winner and taking home the coveted prize drives them to continue purchasing tickets. Despite the known difficulties of winning, individuals remain enthusiastic about buying lottery tickets. There is a certain fascination with anticipating the numbers that probably be drawn, as it brings forth the possibility of being declared the lucky winner. Even for those who have experienced losses, the desire to eventually secure a win keeps them motivated to buy tickets in subsequent attempts. It's a testament to the enduring optimism and the allure of the possibility of winning that keeps people engaged in this pursuit.

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: June 24, 2023, 09:18:09 PM
Old altcoins may have a high level of credibility, but they don't outperform bitcoin in terms of the amount of profit from investing over the distance. Then what is the point of investing in old altcoins at all if there is bitcoin, which will bring as much money if you invest in it? There is a sense to invest in old altcoins only when you are sure that $1 invested in old altcoins will bring much more profit than $1 invested in bitcoins. If there is no tangible difference, then why do we need these old altcoins?
only as an option, the benefits of investing in some of the top altcoins like ETH will provide benefits that may outperform Bitcoin at certain times such as when Altcoins experience recovery and Bitcoin Sideway. See how ETH went from $200 to a price of $4000 in just a few months when Bitcoin also hit ATH. here there will be 2 advantages gained. The advantages of Bitcoin are obvious and coupled with the advantages of Altcoin ethereum.
^Remember that altcoins follow BTC sentiment.
Because as I have seen altcoins are commonly traded against BTC on crypto exchanges. BTC serves as the primary trading pair for many altcoins, meaning that their value is often measured in terms of BTC. So for me, if there is an amount to invest, I will put a big allocation on BTC than the altcoins. Why in 2025 instead of starting today? Accumulate now while we do not yet reach the ATH price of BTC.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the Predictions of Bitcoin Halving accurate? on: June 24, 2023, 09:04:34 PM
^ Comments above are definitely right, we cannot perfectly predict when the next halving will occur.
So it means, the exact time of the next halving event may not be predictable with absolute precision because the specific timing of a halving event is determined by the number of blocks mined on the BTC blockchain. Each block contains a specific number of transactions, and when a certain number of blocks are mined (specifically 210,000 blocks), a halving event takes place.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 24, 2023, 08:52:37 PM
Personally, I have never known or met a woman practicing gambling, and therefore any attempt to make a comparison will necessarily lack objectivity, given that there must be women in this field, albeit in a small percentage.
At the same time, I firmly believe that women generally do not prefer activities that contain high risks, such as gambling or trading. I also believe that this is a genetic difference between men and women, like many other differences between the sexes that can be seen in many statistics ; For example, there are men who commit crimes much more than women, just as there are men who specialize in philosophy more than women. Honestly, I don't think there is a logical explanation other than this.

never meeting women who do gambling does not mean there are no women who do it, women tend to hide their gambling habits more for fear of being labeled by society as women gamblers, when online gambling is increasingly widespread there are many women who are involved in playing in it because women prefer slots over others (sports betting or cards). every human being on this earth doesn't care whether women or men must have a tendency to gamble (regardless of big or small bets) gambling is entertaining and makes every player addicted / curious.
^ I think you need to go to Las Vegas or any big gambling house, there are few women there doing gambling without any fear, they also have a big bet than the men. In fact, many women tend to conceal their gambling habits due to the fear of societal judgment. With the growing prevalence of online gambling, more women are getting involved, particularly in playing slots as compared to other forms like sports betting or card games. It is important to remember that the inclination to gamble is not limited to a specific gender. Gambling can be an enjoyable activity for anyone, and it has the potential to captivate and maneuver players, regardless of their gender or the size of their bets. So for women, gambling is not that impossible, they gamble too like what we do.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 24, 2023, 03:44:16 PM
~snip~
would you prefer to gamble in a casino and make some money or learn about futures trading and make some money?

Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?
^ There are indeed different types of gamblers with varying motivations and preferences.
If I may address your question, it revolves around the choice between gambling in a casino or exploring futures trading as a means to make money. While both options I think offer potential financial gains, of course, there is a risk. However, it is important to remember that the odds are typically stacked against the player, making it a riskier endeavor in the long run.
This futures trading involves speculating on future price movements, it requires learning about market dynamics including technical analysis, which also carries risks. Opposite of gambling that solely pure of base on luck.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 24, 2023, 03:22:38 PM
Rightly said, even if you have a lot of experience in gambling, it is of no use because most of the time gambling depends on luck. This is why it is very difficult to earn money from gambling. If you want to earn from crypto then there are many sites except gambling sites in crypto, you can earn through investment here risk is less than gambling. Some would even argue that the fun in gambling derives primarily from winning. But since winning at gambling can be difficult, you need to find other ways to gamble. Joy ensures that you leave with a fat balance while also acting as a confidence booster.
^ That is the fact and I understand your point that relying solely on gambling for earning money can be challenging due to its inherent uncertainty. Because it could be the excitement of gambling does stem from the possibility of winning. However, since winning consistently can be difficult, it can be beneficial to explore other ways to engage in gambling activities. By finding joy in the experience itself, you can have fun while potentially maintaining a healthy balance, and perhaps even boost your confidence in the process and yes you are definitely right.

We value your trust and participation in our forum, and we are committed to maintaining the integrity and credibility of our lottery program.
^But I am sorry to say, you don't have the credibility to do this or even your platform. Look, you are a newbie and don't have enough trust to entrust the community. Let us check the platform or forum that you have said and judge or hear our feedback. Be transparent about your proposal and drop the platform that you are talking for. People will smell the aroma of scams because it always happened here the same as what you did. For now, it is risky to accept your offer.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 23, 2023, 10:21:45 PM
Well, it's tricky to deposit in some casinos that have that "optional KYC" if you are not ready to complete it if needed. I am the one who doesn't like KYC, and I will avoid it whenever I can, but in case of some problem with "taking the money out of the casino" I am ready to complete the KYC procedure.

I guess if someone is confident to deposit and play in some casino should be comfortable with the KYC system as well. Especially if some higher amounts are in question... you trust them with your money why shouldn't you trust them with some additional info?
^That is a good question that you pointed out.
If you are confident enough to deposit and play in a particular casino, it is reasonable to assume that you should also be comfortable with the KYC system they have in place. This is especially true when larger amounts of money are at stake. By trusting the casino with your funds, it is logical to extend that trust to provide them with any additional information they require through the KYC process. Because the purpose of KYC is to ensure the security and legitimacy of financial transactions, and it serves as a protective measure for both the casino and its customers.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 23, 2023, 10:03:43 PM
It is obviously a proven fact that different accounts have different types of RTP on slots, and house games except for provably fair games. Bc.game has different types of bonus systems but the same similarities can be found on Stake, Rolbit, or on other alternative casinos. Multiple accounts let you enjoy various games that can't be found on the same website and you can compare the advantages of various online casinos. So which casino is the best in terms of VIP system and gaming experience for you?
^Because the reason is you can compare the advantages of each of them.
Having accounts on multiple online casinos allows you to compare the advantages offered by each platform. This includes factors such as VIP systems, loyalty programs, customer support, and overall gaming experience. By experiencing different platforms firsthand, you can make a decision about which platform that gives your satisfaction or is best with your preferences.
I did this before, by creating accounts on various online casinos, you can explore a wider range of games and game providers. Each casino may have a unique selection of games, so having multiple accounts allows you to access a greater variety of options.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 23, 2023, 09:50:52 PM

On the other hand, national lotteries are known to be "taxes on ignorance of mathematics", but if these revenues financed public expenses that revert to the common good: would you agree to pay systematically 1 USD more in your annual taxes as something that ensures the right to dream of a dear life of every taxpayer?
^ This is probably because the odds of winning are typically very low, and the majority of participants end up losing their money. However, if the revenue generated from these lotteries were directed towards public expenses that benefit the common good, it raises an interesting question.
Would you be willing to pay an additional 1 USD in annual taxes, knowing that it goes towards supporting public services and ensures that every taxpayer has the opportunity to dream of a better life?
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin retirement plan with a disturbing length of years. on: June 23, 2023, 09:35:09 PM
If that's the plan and if he's aware of what he is about to do then that's much better. There's no need to intervene with the plan that he's got and he may even think of you as something else if you want to go against with his plans. But I think it's all gonna depend on your approach.
If he's a guy that's willing to listen to you and knowing that both of you are bitcoin investors, no problem to suggest and voice out what you want him to say and just try it out if he'll listen to you. Otherwise, everything is fine and he's just doing the typical DCA.
^That is right because that is his plan and probably he already analyzed or understands how BTC will work as an investment plan.
It is important to respect your colleague's autonomy and investment choices. If they have a good plan and understand the risks involved in investing in BTC for their retirement, it may be best to support their decision. However, if you have a good rapport with your colleague and they are open to discussions about investments, you can share your thoughts and concerns in a respectful manner. Because it is up to them to decide whether they want to consider alternative strategies or stick with their current plan.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The green shouldn't always be the reason to enter the market on: June 23, 2023, 02:29:07 PM
I very much concur with all that the op have said, but then, I still think one of the reasons why many still jump in during bull market is for some quick profit, many don't like holding coins for too long, most especially when the trader does not have any plan of supposedly tying their money down, such a trader may likely only enter into a particular coin only when the coin is showing some green moves, so as to gain some immediate profit which they can possibly cash out immediately.
^Definitely right because that is because this was their instinct on making a profit in crypto.
During a bull market, many people are attracted to crypto trading with the hopes of making quick profits, they probably allure of seeing green moves, and the possibility of immediate gains can be quite enticing for some traders.
They should understand that crypto markets can be highly volatile, and relying solely on short-term price movements can be risky. Long-term investors often reap the benefits of patience and holding coins through market cycles, allowing them to potentially benefit from significant price appreciation over time, this is the mindset of the crypto enthusiast, not them.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 23, 2023, 02:20:05 PM
How it's possible you cheat in gambling when the slots games has provably fair system, the sports bookie has an auto adjust the odds, and other games e.g. poker, live casino has been checked and make sure it's not rigged etc. I don't think it's possible you can cheat in online casino, but you have a chance to cheat in offline casino.

You need to learn a trick and have a fast movement like a magician, but it's only limited for few games.
^ Definitely right, that is unlikely will happen or it is impossible.
Attempting to cheat a provably fair casino would likely require exploiting vulnerabilities in the system, but doing so would be highly unethical and could lead to banning your account or seizing your money. Remember that reputable casinos employ advanced security measures to protect against cheating attempts, it is very easy for them to detect unethical activities like this.
So why do you need to cheat if you gamble for fun? it should be important to gamble responsibly within your means.

Which r best slots for bonus hunt
Which r best slots for bonus hunt

I do 150 spins

Recommend slots on nolimit gamomat

^ And don't forget to always read the terms of the casino regarding the bonus to avoid a problem in the future. Because for me this free bonus will trigger of increase in KYC procedure, but not all casinos so be careful.
Probably this thread will help you to find a good one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5341966.0.
You are safe on that casino that is listed by @Pmalek because all these listed have a good reputation, just read the requirement and you are good to hunt faucets or bonuses.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 22, 2023, 10:37:53 PM
^ You have raised an interesting point.
In gambling, luck often plays a significant role, as outcomes are primarily based on chance.
However, when it comes to trading, while luck can occasionally play a minor part, it is generally not the determining factor for success. Trading requires a combination of knowledge, skill, analysis, and diligent effort. Traders need to study market trends, analyze data, develop strategies, and make knowledgeable decisions based on what they have studied. It's a proactive process that involves continuous learning, adapting to market conditions, and managing risks. While luck may occasionally favor traders, it is their hard work, discipline, and expertise that ultimately contribute to their success. So, while luck may be a factor in gambling, trading relies more on the dedication and a preparation plan tat includes a stop-loss technique.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 22, 2023, 10:33:09 PM
Never be, how do you gamble bitcoin? Is it by the prediction? Bitcoin is unstable because of the market price of demand and supply. Is gambling forbid in UK? If not then there is no need to panick and they can only accused bitcoin of being a gamble which is not truth. And they can't threat the way they are threating gambling to bitcoin. Bitcoin is unique and untouchable. The matter what they do to stop bitcoin with different accusations yet it will not work for them. Instead they will join the blockchain for their benefits. "If they can't beat it then they have to join it".
^ Yes you are right, you are in the right investment if you choose BTC as your investment because that is safe.
But OP talking about crypto which is all cryptocurrency, so if you invest shitcoin or meme coins, that is considered gambling for me since you don't know what will happen to these coins in the future not like BTC which was proven and tested already. It should be that knowledgeable investors can analyze and make decisions based on available information and analysis, reducing the reliance on chance.
