201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we have a little way to go before the take off? on: October 16, 2015, 08:57:42 PM
I think you're about right OP, if the halving creates a bubble.
First sell off: Jan-March time.
Peak: July-Sept
Return: August-Oct

I don't really like to speculate but I have been thinking the exact same thing lately. More specifically; how do I raise significant capital to throw into the market for January March sell off. Was my exact predictions no lie
202  Economy / Goods / WTB antique toys on: October 16, 2015, 08:52:57 PM
I'm interested in old toys mainly trolls from the 60s and 70s especially Dam and Wishnik brands. These are old school troll dolls. No 80s or 90s crap please
With tags and original outfits are best

Also buying older and rarer Barbapapa figures depending...

If you got some post pics and I'll make you an offer
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Peeple: The App From Hell? on: October 16, 2015, 08:45:08 PM
Really peeple is just giving form to the voice that's constantly going on in my head when I'm out in public. I walk down the street and look at all the people I pass by
I'm like; "asshat, dweeb, jerkoff, moron... Hang on a sec, she's alright... Loser, homo, idiot "etc
Like that. All day.

These guys just turned it into an app

I'll totally download it for sure
204  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Conservatism is the New Counter-Culture on: October 16, 2015, 08:38:50 PM
I know what you are trying to say but "counter-culture" is being used incorrectly. A true "counter-culture" is defined as being a movement in resistance to technocracy. It started with the romantics moved through the bohemians and continued through right up to the hippie movement, they were all about rejecting technology and embracing nature.

What you mean to say is conservatism is the new radicalism.
It isn't
Anarchism is and violent revolution will be its outcome

Conservatism is too puritanical anyways
205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sex Partners Must Say "Yes" Every 10 Minutes, California 10th Graders Taught on: October 16, 2015, 08:31:29 PM
My girl's always "yes, yes, yes, Yes, Yes,YES! YES! YES!YESSSS!" All night, I think I'm covered.
206  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-16] CD: Winklevoss Exchange Gemini Struggling to Win Bitcoin Traders on: October 16, 2015, 08:19:58 PM
Well they're only in USA so that's not optimal. I wonder though. When did they acquire the Gemini dot com url? Twins n all they might have grabbed it ages ago, just because.
I wonder if they grabbed it before the dot com bubble? How much did they pay for it? Kind of off topic I know but I'm curious.
I actually like those guys though
I'd use Gemini if I was USA
207  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-15] Bitreserve rebranding heats debates on anticipated death of bitcoin on: October 16, 2015, 08:12:27 PM
This is Bitcoin's death notice! I think it's number #7694. But for sure the really truly last dying one this time. For realz.
Bit reserve are idiots
They think they can do forex
They're going to get eaten alive
208  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-16] London's High Class Escort Service - Fallen Angels Accepts Bitcoin. on: October 16, 2015, 08:08:24 PM
Makes sense. Escorts like money, that's why they escort. The classy ones that is. The nasty ones do it for drug addiction usually. That and human trafficking.
I understand some of the big porn stars do escort work on the side. That always made the most sense to me. You can watch a sample of their work and see if she knows what she's doing first. A lot of escorts look great in the glamour shots they advertise with but disappoint in person knowhatimsayin
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for the companionship of a Supermodel with Bitcoin. All Money is Money! on: October 16, 2015, 07:57:30 PM
I tried this service out actually.
It was an ok date until she was all like "come on, come on! Hurry up with the confirmation already, baby!" It kinda put me off and my tx was rejected by the chain   Undecided
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for a crazy (faucet) shop - completely automated and open to the public on: October 16, 2015, 07:51:16 PM
You need to generate funds so have a regular type faucet page that must be visited to gain entry. The more visits the more time you get in the shop, paying with your faucet winnings. It would be like a faucet lottery but since there is the physical shop ( I'm assuming you mean a second life type room) you could actually see that there are winners.
I don't get the shout thing. After a certain amount of visitors all the shouting would just make a static noise.
It sounds like something you could build with second life or similar platform though
If you build it I'd check it out
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: October 16, 2015, 07:42:46 PM
There's a couple stores near me. A natural lotion and creams place. An outdoor sportswear camping gear type place. There's a gold dealer that told me accepted btc a while ago not sure if he's still, he sounded kind of wary when I talked to him. He was using bitpay and I'm not so sure he was happy with it but didn't trust his staff to do the tx themselves. Haven't talked to him in a while.
I bought brunch when btc was like 80$ at a cafe now closed. It was the only thing I actually wanted available here. I'm not spending my btc on anything now no matter what though. I don't have enough btc or $ so I'm hodling
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about Bitcoin, Visa, Mastercard and Paypal on: October 16, 2015, 07:31:10 PM
I like seeing the four name brands together like that in the title though it would read better in this order; PayPal MasterCard Visa Bitcoin. You put them in ascending order with the greatest one last for emphasis.
The latest and the greatest.
Now if Bitcoin had 5% of Visa's market share each one would be worth tens of thousands
213  Economy / Gambling / Re: What feature would you like to see on a Dice site ? on: October 16, 2015, 07:22:20 PM
Frankly dice is dice. More variation on the stuff like double down and craps rules etc. the ability to play against other players.
It would be super awesomest if the site had customizable animated avatars like video games where you shot craps with each other. That would be sweet
214  Economy / Gambling / Re: ☼ ☁ Weathbet.com ☁ ☼ - Bet on weather condition - BTC, LTC, DOGE on: October 16, 2015, 07:18:07 PM
You really need a mobile app for this game. The web version is too hard to use on my phone. I think I could do pretty good on my local weather but I need to do it on my iPhone
215  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on Elections on: October 16, 2015, 07:12:39 PM
They are having the federal election here in Canada on Monday and it looks pretty tough to call.
So does the USA but it will look clearer closer to the ballot down there. It always does.
The Canadian election is tougher. We can get minority "wins" up here because our house works differently.
Some bookies will give odds. I would say they're pretty close (Tory and Liberals) with better odds on a Tory minority.
I'd like to see the odds. I might wager on that.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 16, 2015, 07:05:00 PM
I have seen a lottery option on faucets. Freebitco.in has one I have been entering. I'm 99% convinced it's fixed. Even though it's free betting, for the faucet it translates to free traffic because they take back all the satoshis you've earned. Plus, who's going to bother trying to scam bust it? It's just bamboozling the user out of free faucet money they provided in the first place. Ingenious!
It keeps me going back to see if it will ever prove that it is fixed.
If I don't win it eventually I will have my PROOF!
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if bitcoin is regulated in China? on: October 14, 2015, 03:50:48 PM
china regulating will open the door to huge amounts of new money flowing into bitcoin without a doubt. Bring it on I say, bring it on!
218  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-14] huffingtonpost: Wall Street Should Be Scared of the Blockchain on: October 14, 2015, 03:48:42 PM
hey why not? it worked for Mt.Gox right?

honestly, the banks wouldn't touch it if they didn't KNOW (not think) they could game the system. I imagine private blockchains that are not public ledgers here. it just saves them money. dont think their fees will go lower either.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What do you think about putting your address everywhere? on: October 13, 2015, 06:30:50 PM
its a no-brainer to put your address here, when i first came here i was basically told to do it (its on my profile page now)

i have a blog and its there, its on my facebook and twitter too

i haven't received a single donation yet (just one gift here when i joined) but im still leaving my addy all around just in case. at the very least it could start conversations!

everyone should do it. its better than change tip or bit pay or any those 3rd party apps. clean simple and cool
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to send BTC news press? on: October 13, 2015, 04:14:22 PM
go to the Press section and look at every bitcoin news outlet linked in the threads there. there are dozens of bitcoin news outlets, coindesk is quite large. they all accept submissions. if coindesk bitcoinist or bitcoin warrior publishes your lead all the other sources will follow.

if you just want to "get it out there" reddit is a pretty good place to start.

if it is really big news and has interest even outside the bitcoin niche you could try CNN or WSJ

pretty much any news outlet has a submissions link. if your news is interesting they will follow it. doubt you will make any money off it though.
