2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: September 26, 2022, 02:12:14 PM
Jake Paul can fight and I think Jake Paul is picking an opponents that has a relevant history on being a champion or has a great title. We all know that Anderson Silva had a terrible leg injury that made his long winning streak over, I think his leg injury affected his whole MMA career given that he experience multiple losses after he lost his winning streak. This affects his agility in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, Anderson Silva is a great boxer and he has experience to it. I think he still has the fire to beat Jake Paul on a boxing ring, So my bet is on Anderson Silva if ever this exhibition match happened.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why have so many platforms delisted Polygon tokens? on: September 26, 2022, 12:00:57 AM
Just like others, I haven't found any article and stories about the delisting of polygon tokens on an exchange, Even small exchanges will make a news about it given that they can take a chance in making themselves on headline for a while but no one have did it. I think OP might have seen a maintenance or the exchange is fixing some problems regaeding polygon just like what binance is doing when there's a certain problem or a very very heavy traffic just like what they did on LUNA.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: September 25, 2022, 11:16:43 PM
I'm not expecting too much in the merge, people know what might happen and everyone seems to expect that prices will soar up. I have some ethereum right now but I honestly don't expect too much in the merge to affect the ETH price immediatly, Just like bitcoin halving, the effect might come sooner or later. I'm also holding my ETH for the future, selling at low price will be an immediate loss.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Good Crypto Exchanges With Cheap Listing Fees on: September 25, 2022, 03:30:38 PM
Hello I am looking for a reputable crypto exchange with good 24 hr. volume/trading and a fairly reasonably priced or free listing. If you have any with some of their listing prices or fees please list them here below. Thanks again.
Decentralized exchange should be your first option given that you are aiming for cheap or free listing. Centralized exchanges especially those who are reputable or on top of the list are charging a high pitch price. Commonly, Small or starting projects are first getting listed on decentralized exchange knowing that they don't have much capital to invest into listing. Also, It's not worth on putting your token on a low tier centralized exchange given that people or traders are avoiding that because of the small reputation they have.
2005  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: September 25, 2022, 02:42:55 PM
It's been a long time since I've seen post like this  Grin I can't believe that OP provides proofs about his experiences that night. I guess I won't get envy of you. Though I can't see myself being on a the same situation playing gambling while waiting for something to happen, I personally think it's distracting given that you're on a strip club where distractions are everywhere.

Congrats on winning and the fun you have on that night!
2006  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 24, 2022, 07:20:32 PM
I've seen some KYC issues around here, I advise OP to remove the NO KYC on the title because it might lead into confusion knowing that you are asking KYC for suspicious account just like any other casinos. NO KYC is a strong word now and putting it on a title could make a ANN thread attractive though it can make a misunderstanding just like what happened here. I promise you that it can lead in a big issue in the future given that you have a no verification(no kyc) on your website but required KYC on suspicious account on TOS.

Aside from KYC I like how your casino focus on e-sports game. With most common and famous game out there where competitiveness is focused. I'm sure there will be improvement on the website soon. Welcome to the forum!
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 24, 2022, 06:41:31 PM
It can be a goods news or bad news to you depending on your current situation, There might be a small price drop but I believe it can be sustained knowing that USDT is a largely traded pair. If they got audited and they are proven to be giving false declaration, The situation will be changed.

There are a lot of rumors and accusations on tether before that the coins they are minting are not backed 1:1 and I believed that there are some who stopped using tether because of that issues. It's a serious issue that can make USDT depegged.

2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 24, 2022, 08:06:39 AM
Anyone here played games like FGO, Epic Seven, or Summoners War before? Do you consider it to be some kind of gambling addiction if a player whales or spend tons of money in the game just to get a certain item?

For those who don't know, a gacha game is a genre of video game where players pull, spin, or roll using an in-game currency to receive a random item. That item can be something that could make their characters stronger or sometimes it's just some limited skin which has no effect other than to make their characters look cooler.
I'm a gamer and I like playing different game genre including gatcha games. Currently I'm playing Ni No Kuni, A crypto gatcha MMORPG game that has been on the market recently. I really enjoy pulls but I haven't tried doing a massive pulls where whales are spending so much money on it to get their desired items. Gatcha game concepts are in here long time ago and it is still thriving till now because of the excitement on every gatcha pulls we are doing.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go home with a profit and come back to end up losing a lot. on: September 24, 2022, 07:41:38 AM
A friend of mine works in a casino (land-based) and he told me yesterday that there was a client who with a stroke of luck won a good amount, about $8k. He exchanged the chips for cash and went home. After about half an hour, my friend sees him walk back in the door and went on a gambling binge all the night, only to end up losing his winnings and more.

At the end of the session he signed the self-exclusion.

If it weren't for the fact that this person is going through a drama, the story would make you want to laugh.

Has this ever happened to you or do you know of cases like this?
Pretty good example of gamblers who can't satisfy themselves and also being attacked by their own greed. We can't deny that there are many gamblers on a real casino who overspend their time playing and ended losing it all. We know that the more we spend our time on a casino is the more chance that casino will make money from us. I've experienced the same thing when I was still a gambling addict before and honestly it's hard to resist the urge to overspend my time and keep playing again knowing that the luck is on my side. Having a good gambler mindset or putting your own up could reduce the chance of this happening.

I agree with this, Di natin maitangi na mas convenient gamitin ang gcash both business owners and customers. For sure maraming merchants dun na widely accepted ang Gcash and mas prefer ito gamitin. One way na naiisip ko para malabanan ito ng mayt gusto gawing Crypto-Island ang boracay ay ang pag offer ng promos using crypto payment. First time ko marinig yung Pouch wallet and I think very bold and aggressive move yung ginagawa nila ngayon sa boracay. I think effective naman given na nakilala natin yung Pouch wallet and may mga articles na din about their plan na gawing Crypto-island ang boracay.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 23, 2022, 05:24:57 PM
I believe you will get asked to provide KYC because China is very strict country and want to control anything, they even ban Bitcoin due to decentralized nature and can't be controlled. I wouldn't use any technology about chinese version of metaverse because I don't think it's has a difference with virtual reality (VR). Also not sure if they will create and launch their own metaverse since there's a lot discussion until now but there's no realization.
I think KYC is possible given that Casino's have their license and needs to abide the rules they are bonded, These applies on China casino as well. There will be differences but we can't tell yet if AR metaverse can compete with VR metaverse. I think they do have plans on being one of first who will make a metaverse and it is known that Chinese apps today can level other International apps today like US made apps.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 23, 2022, 04:45:08 PM
With the experienced I gained for the years I've been into cryptospace, I guess I'm mentally prepared on what might happen in bitcoin in the future. I've been into different scenarios which I made a mistake that leads into selling bitcoins at a loss price. Experiencing too many mistake and too many bitcoin breakdowns leads me into my current state right now. I'm confident on buying Bitcoin and keeping them for a long time.

This is a good thread for newbies who are seeking advice in their crypto journey, But always remember not spend money that you can't afford to lose. I've been there, trust me it's a bad experience.
2014  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance acquiring PH firm to secure VASP & EMI licenses on: September 23, 2022, 04:11:26 PM
If they acquired a license dito sa pinas I think it's a good thing for PH customers kagaya natin dahil di na natin masyado need isipin yung banning and other legality risk though may downside padin like increased requirements sa KYC and possible strengthen tax sa crypto.
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: testnet airdrops on: September 23, 2022, 02:44:51 AM
i follow testnet airdrop a lot and it really wastes my time, usually testnet airdrop is used to test a crypto project before switching to mainnet, like using fake money before making it real money, so no one really pays me with real money, at basically tesnet money is just fake money that can't be exchanged for real money, so I no longer participate in the testnet airdrop event because I don't get paid, so think again about joining an airdrop like that

Meanwhile, I see more people making money from testnet than participating in bounty campaigns or junk airdrops. Projects running testnet not all will distribute rewards to their test users. They only distribute to actual testers and give comments so that they can improve their product better than before mainnet, test users regularly interact on their testnet community.

The fact that you do not receive the reward may be that you did not analyze the project before joining, secondly, that you did not make an effort to help them perfect the product, but only participated superficially in the hope of receiving a reward. Testnet is not like the airdrop you are participating in, just spam and you will be rewarded, it requires seriousness and diligence to implement.
I agree to this. I've been on the same situation that I didn't get rewarded from the testnet airdrop but my friend told me that I only contributed a little effort and I did wrong the wrong thing. Usually testnet airdrop needs some money for gas fee and other requirements to be considered as participant. This isn't the usual airdrop where participants do requirements such as spreading the project, promoted or getting referrals. Testnet airdrops also has less abusers since we need money for gas fee. Though not every testnet has a guaranteed reward, So be meticulous on choosing a project if you are aiming for that reward.
2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 22, 2022, 08:49:11 PM
Kind of crazy that Mayweather is saying him and McGregor are going to rematch and McGregor is saying he’s not interested. Starting to seem like Mayweather is losing his shine a bit if he’s chasing MMA fighters around for fights. I sort of thought he’d be retired by now but he keeps fighting exhibitions. He’s addicted to boxing.

Can't really blame him because that is Money Mayweather's passion and he is doing his best to do some exhibition fights anywhere in the world while he still can and while he's still known to the public. No denying that doing some exhibition fights is one of his easiest way to make money because of what he had achieved in his time. Sooner or later, that fire that keeps him fighting will burn-out and even Mayweather can't evade that.
That's true, Remember the Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight? I didn't believe that Mayweather would fight Logan Paul even on an exhibition boxing match even their weight differences are far different from each other. It's about money and it's what we are all thinking for the reason why Mayweather agreed. Mayweather is retired but I think he is still utilizing his strength and take a chance in making money thru his boxing skills. Shall we expect another Mayweather odd exhibition match?
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 08:20:40 PM
Even I'm playing on a mostly on a regular basis, My rule of thumb is not to leave any balance on my account after my gambling session. I'm doing this on most of the casino I play but there's a rare instances that I don't withdraw and leave it there. One example is when gas fees is ridiculously high and I'm at a loss if I withdraw it, I tend to wait for the fee to go down before I withdraw and also this is only applicable on a reputable casino.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 22, 2022, 08:00:11 PM
Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued? I have one playing a game, it was absorbing plenty of my time and despite me knowing it, I was kind of hooked on it. It was not a financial problem, but left me wondering how easy is to actually fall into a bad habit and how difficult is to break it.
I had some experience having the same situation as you. Mostly I tend to over time and make myself overbudget when I really like a new game that I am playing. Having a constant win and enjoying a new game really makes me entertained and even I go over budget, I'm only spending only another half of my next gambling budget, I guess I also have a control even I'm going over budget. In my case, I think I can't control myself playing again and again but I'm strong in managing my finance about gambling. I think you should set yourself up a planner of gambling hours and If you spend over time on playing, Have yourself a overtime limit like 1 hour maximum.
2019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invitation to teach Bitcoin in a school on: September 22, 2022, 07:22:15 PM
Your good deeds escalated in a good way man! It seems that your community is interested in taking part on your voluntary needs. Apart from teaching the same class again about bitcoin, There's a high chance that you will be invited again on a different school or teach bitcoin on your community given that your students might share their knowledge about bitcoin to their parents and also be interested in learning more about bitcoin/cryptocurrency. This proves that small good deeds can be a gateway to a better opportunity in spreading good things.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will not survive the bear market? on: September 21, 2022, 10:53:14 PM
Does surviving or not depend on the amount of demand?
Or does it depend on the quality of the tech behind the project? Those 2 don't necessarily go hand in hand.
It depends on several points, not only on the amount of demand but also on the utility, trust, people behind, strong team, promotions, fundamentals, and also other values. It is not easy to build the trust and reputation to make certain altcoins become very valuable. There may be projects that seem too good to be true, but in fact, they cannot realize the utility of the projects because they are once more, too good to be true.
Many projects are failed to realize their use case and also road map due to the hard competition in the crypto industry, moroeverthe projects that are only following the hype, like the meme coins, Defi project types, games, and many others. As long as they are only following, the perentage to grow up and survuve during this beairhs era is very small.
That's true, There are many factors in order for a project to survive. A project can't survive on just a single factor. We've seen many project that has a lot of demand on it's release but after sometime it's going down because project seems lacking of other factors that makes other project survive even on bear market. I believe that having a strong team, team seriousness, good fundamentals and project utility is one of the most important factors that makes project survive on every part of the market cycle.
