2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 25, 2020, 05:39:19 PM
Becareful fellas, new projects are now showing up just because of the Bitcoin hype growing around the internet, the FOMO is alive and no one wants to miss out, now new projects are joining the train as well, behold 'its all about money making' ,do not entirely put your trust in new projects, even new bounties are showing up too, I pity you if you don't know how to patiently do some research
Nothing new here from what I have seen and experienced in 2017. When bitcoin enters into its bull run, we will be seeing lots of new people are coming in to crypto space just for making money in the name of ICOs or in all of the possible means. The pathetic situation here must be, the scammers are making themselves well-hidden by having how the real devs are looking-like which makes the innocent investors to filter them out very hard.

In my opinion, we do not need any new coin without any innovative feature or without solving a problem which was not addressed yet by bitcoin or any other leading reputed coin. When we start ignoring all the copycat, then probably we can have very healthy environment in this altcoin space. Only when we are looking for easy money out of non-perfect projects, the scammers are getting easier to steal our money.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you heard about Super Blackhole? on: February 25, 2020, 04:57:26 PM
Other than this much very little supply, what other features they are having in their project?
Devs are becoming too smart these days and this is the reason they are coming up with such new ideas for trapping investors.

Being a hyper deflationary supply cannot be an innovative feature to make investors to get attracted to invest with it. I remember there was a coin with less than 10 total circulating supply and when it was listed on cryptsy it was valuing more than 1000BTC per coin but eventually it got dumped for less than 100BTC after some time (when I last checked) and finally people forgot that.

This must be another SHIT token with cheap attempt to attract investors. DO NOT FALL for it.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to secure your asset in forkdelta? on: February 25, 2020, 04:18:46 PM
This is because the more time you Login in forkdelta, the more chance to hack your wallet. Hackers need some time to hack your wallet.
How it will be possible? What are the leads for hackers to target the users who are logging for more hours? As per my basic knowledge on security measurements, it will be impossible to hack anyone just because they are logged in. If it will be possible, then that will make us to assume that site itself selling our data to the hackers.

Only by installing some malware in your computer, hackers may get access to your private key which may be the reason they are able to hack you when you are logging in for more hours.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, be aware of a new scam! Stay safe with your funds! on: February 25, 2020, 02:31:09 PM
I guess this is not a new type of scam as I have seen this type of attempts within my telegram group. Never ever believe into anyone who asks for money for sending you back multiple fold of what you will send. That is the logic behind this? Money will grow on tree for them to get us multi fold returns?

We have seen a long discussion of such incident of one forum member who lost his ETHs by believing into some scammer's youtube videos. When we make use of our common sense, I guess we can easily avoid this kind of scammers. When more people are not falling into such traps then those scammers may stop doing this.
2005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 24, 2020, 08:21:01 PM
I don’t really think that can raise the adoption of cryptocurrency in that country, I have been there before and I have some friends that I used to hang out with there. I have been able to discuss this topic of Bitcoin with them and from what I have seen a lot of them are avoiding Bitcoin because it is volatile and because they are afraid that they can lose their money.

Only the very rich people are investing in it, and they are not much that are into it. Check this – an average salary earner there is making 40k to 50k naira ($130) in a month, and sometimes that money is not enough for them to sort out their problems. So they are afraid that they might lose it. From what I have learnt, they prefer investments that are less risky I guess.
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 24, 2020, 07:26:54 PM
Damn Shocked Shocked man, what are these sim hacks that I have been hearing of lately. I have been seeing news on how people got their wallets hacked through SIM, and I don’t even know how them hackers managed to do this, seems like people are no longer safe here.

Read news on a boy that hacked several of his victims cryptocurrency wallets through this same SIM thing. And the way I see it, I think this only happens with online wallets I guess, since those are the kind of wallets you will have to verify sometimes using your phone number. Offline wallets doesn’t require anything that has to do with any of your details. This is very bad, and I wonder how this victim will be feeling right now losing such an amount of money, $45 million worth of cryptocurrency is too much meehn.  Angry
2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 24, 2020, 06:51:37 PM
You do know that it is not every location that will be making use of online payment. There are places that might be too local and not accepting such types of payment.

Just like in my country, you will only be able to make use of advanced payment like debit cards, mobile banking and others in big cities only. That’s where you will see big supermarkets and fast foods and the rest of them that allows you to make payment using your debit cards, mobile transfer or even PayPal (people don’t use Bitcoin yet). But in local places, nobody is ready for such, they will only accept cash from you and nothing else.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 24, 2020, 05:38:48 PM
Honestly, it sounds like a medical term because I never hear about "compulsive gambling". As far as I am concerned, addicted gambling is what gamblers are doing without control on themselves. From your description I understand you are referring just addicted gambling and I believe we have already have lots of discussions and suggestions across this forum for addicted gamblers.

Gamblers lose their control over the time because gambling makes them excited over their gambling activities which lead them to forget themselves so they are losing all the controls. When gamblers are not regular to gambling then the chances for getting addicted is very less which means they will keep their control intact. So, we must gamble responsibly and with frequent breaks.
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 24, 2020, 04:55:46 PM
in my case I come to play gambling because I want to become a part of a gambling campaign, so far this is my 6th gambling campaign and I still continue gambling because I want to continuously involved in gambling campaign.
Who misguided you? Why you need to be a gambler to be part of a gambling campaign? There are lots of gambling campaigns which does not require to write on gambling boards.

Moreover, I have seen managers are accepting participants who never posted on gambling section in his last 20 posts (I mean the first page of post history) for even gambling based campaigns. Only in recent times managers started to impose the new rule of minimum 5 or 7 posts in gambling boards. I guess it was a trend set first by stake team who had campaign here by 2019 March to June (not sure about exact time frame). I remember they had asked about 15 gambling posts (not gambling discussion) every week.

All I want to say, if you do not enjoy gambling then stop it right away and do not gamble for the sake of participating campaigns. One day or other you may see that you will be spending daily more than what you earn from campaigns weekly. Please act now itself before it will be too late.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: February 24, 2020, 03:49:26 PM
I'm not believing in to probably fair system because in real life there are less possibility for continue losing streak but in almost all the to gambling houses continue losing streaks are happening most commonly. This makes we need much more improvements/developments to fine-tune so that those provably fair mechanism will be actually fair for all of us.

Honestly I'm not familiar with SHA algorithms and hashing or unhashing things which makes me unable to verify my betting.
I believe gambling houses must work on simplifying these things so that even non-computer literature people also will be able to verify them with just one click.
2011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose correct coin for Day Trading on: February 24, 2020, 02:00:25 PM
If you're newbie in trading, I would suggest for you to consider other strategy as day trading is really hard to get around with just plain knowledge on how to do it.
Yes, OP is mentioning about only basics he knows in trading hence I am also suggesting him not to go for day trading due to its wild risk levels. But, we cannot ignore the fact that everyone starts with no experience but over the time, they may become profitable and then slowly becoming professional traders. Still, trying with least capital must be more important until gaining enough experiences.

definitely you must adopt the holding way of trading because it will definitely fetch you big profits over the time as we are still in early adopting stage of cryptocurrencies.
That must be a good suggestion for the people who do not have any experience in trading so far. I agree the current markets must be at its bets prices to accumulate as much as possible. Still, investing only in bitcoins may prevent unnecessary regrets later as only bitcoins are having definite future as far as I studied.
2012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trade Managers on: February 23, 2020, 06:59:01 PM
Hello. Can anyone recommend a reputable successful trade manager for crypto and the fee charged? Thank you!
I don’t really know about that, cause I have not looked into it since I started cryptocurrency trading. I wouldn’t even recommend that you look for a trade manager when it comes to cryptocurrency trading. Why should you trust anyone, a stranger, to be handling your account and trades? It is quite a big risk because anything might happen.

I know that when it comes to forex trading there are trade managers, I don’t even trust those ones not to talk of cryptocurrency. If you want to get a trade manager I will advise you to look for someone in your locality, someone that you can be seeing face-to-face and also know where they are living in case things goes wrong. It’s still up to you to decide.
2013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 23, 2020, 03:42:19 PM
I do not believe it because the ripple is not a decentralized coin but is centered, there are people who set it up so they just follow the market situation or act on their desire to manipulate prices.
You can see ath ripple at last bull.
Being centralized might maximize the use of ripple and that is what would create a huge demand. We all know that each and every crypto markets run on the demand and supply factor no matter if it is decentralized or centralized. Ripple might also be the first coin to be accepted in centralized overseas payment methods like perfect money or moneygram, etc just because of their centralized nature.

I think that their centralized nature has not allowed XRP to make huge price pump in the last bull runs but this year we might surely see XRP onto a good peak. Investing into XRP would never be a medium to face loss but majority of the times we would land up in profits by investing into XRP.
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BNB after 5 years? on: February 23, 2020, 03:03:02 PM
We really don't know what will happen to BNB after 5 years but for sure the price will increasing maybe we can see BNB reaching $1000 price if the team still active and also the binance exchange. Seems the binance exchange is the power source of BNB.
BNB is been backed by the binance platform. Binance has already been grown to a major exchange where majority of traders execute their daily trades by paying fees with BNB coin. BNB reduces the fees by 10 to 25% depending on the platform you are trading and this might really be much beneficial for the small scale traders as well as they might not need to loose excess amount in fees.

BNB might even be used onto various other platforms which are been integrating with binance and this would surely double the price for BNB as the utility of this token would gradually increase in number. Binance is going to be the top #1 exchange after few coming years so there is actually no doubt that their utility token i.e BNB would too be among the top coins after few years.
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 23, 2020, 09:34:31 AM
Almost every new altcoins that I have got into, that’s how it has always been for all of them. I just don’t understand a lot of people, they just rush in and hype the coin and the next thing you know they are all running out from the coin and dumping it heavily to the extent the price will drop so much. It’s very annoying, that’s one of the reasons why I stopped rushing into any coin I see.

This time around I’m taking my time and minding what I choose and I mainly choose coins that have been around for quite sometime and still doing fine. New coins always fall, even if you want to buy them it’s best to have patience and wait for quite some time before buying.
2016  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: February 23, 2020, 08:44:06 AM
I have always thought of this, but I can’t really tell how that is going to benefit the economy. But, I do believe that it’s going to make things a lot better in the crypto community and there wouldn’t be lots of scam projects.

I have always wanted all these companies and organisations that are creating their own tokens to be making use of bitcoin instead of creating their own personal tokens, that would help to promote Bitcoin and make people to adopt it. But the truth is that these companies will never agree because they know that if they don’t create their own cryptocurrency or tokens, they wouldn’t make a lot of money as they would now. So I am not even going to say that’s going to happen, it’s never going to happen.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 23, 2020, 07:39:04 AM
I know about some of the coins you have mentioned here, but that Dubai Encash I don’t think there is anything like that that was released. I even searched for it to see if it was released and I didn’t see it. I do know about the Venezuela Petro but it seems like its no longer active or something , and I also heard that they are mainly making use of the US dollars there.

Estcoin is mooted and news from CNBC says that they are no linger going to issue the coin because they never planned to lol.The only country I know that seems to be serious about having a cryptocurrency of their own is China and they are still yet to release it, though news have it that it’s going to be this 2020.
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 22, 2020, 04:38:02 PM
I agree with OP and the real Bitcoin is BSV.

BSV is an altcoin that was created by people with obscure purposes and who did not succeed in the plan they will orchestrate because fortunately most people realized that BSV is just another useless altcoin

I don't know what the banks in other countries are like, but in my country when I think about going to the bank I get tired before I even get to the bank, because bank employees take hours to attend to people. If a person is going to deposit money in my country's bank, it will take 2 hours and if that person is going to withdraw money by check, it may take more than 3 hours in the bank. But, we need the banks. That's why I'm in favor of using both
You’re right about BSV, I don’t know why a lot of people can’t even see this. I know some people might think that it is a really good cryptocurrency because the price has been going up lately, but whatever, at the end it’s still going to crash.

As for banking, that’s how it is in my country, you will likely see a long queue when you go to the bank, but it’s not something that happens every time. Though there are mobile banking apps these days and most of the things you can do them using your bank app, like transfer, updating some information about you and the rest. So you don’t really have to be going to the bank all the time if you have your bank app, except the ATM.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So much for this "Defi" hype, BTC is on the only Decentralized Finance on: February 22, 2020, 04:02:36 PM
Well, it's so sad other cryptocurrencies and other crypto platforms easily get hacked. The reason why Bitcoin seems so difficult to hack is because of the proof of work that needs to be done in order to hack. Also, Bitcoin has a very large community of honest miners who take huge interests in supporting the network other than just making quick gains because they all believe that bitcoin will see great heights in future.
Bitcoin has a very strong foundation and it doesn't take unnecessary risk, altcoins are constantly trying new technologies and techniques these have the risk of new vulnerabilities and unfortunately these still have a lot of funds and monetary value. I expect altcoins to continue to have large hacks and a lot of money stolen because it's the nature of the beast, new tech and money involved gives a great target for hackers.
You’re very right, bitcoin is always better than all these alto pins. I can remember that when we had none of these Altcoins platforms things used to be a lot better and there wasn’t much scam projects because it wasn’t easy with bit coin, but ever since there was ethereum, it made things easy for people and they are now able to easily create lots of scam projects. Same thing with this case, if it was bitcoin it wouldn’t have been an easy thing for the scammers to do. Since it’s Ethereum, these hackers, they will always find their to dos something bad with it.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 22, 2020, 08:28:37 AM
Ripple might go up. Some of the experts have said that if the bears offer strong resistance the price might just stay stable and after sometime it will then go up if the bulls are able to regain control and push the price. The next price that we are waiting on is $0.34229 and from this price it will go up to $0.40.

Apart from XRP I have noticed that LINK has been able to reach the top ten level. That’s really surprising because I wasn’t expecting it, just within a short time Chainlink has been able to become a big name in the cryptocurrency market. I am looking forward to a time when it will grow to be more than that, it’s going really fast.
