www.ebay.com/itm/141735490952 - LLDPE Trash Can Liner/Garbage Bag- 500 QTY (50/roll, 10 rolls) 24"x33" .8 MIL
These are the best priced I've ever seen, so I ordered them and have used a few so far; they're good quality. $30/500=6 cents per bag.

2002  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Bitcoin Wallet for Android on: July 12, 2015, 11:04:49 PM
I would appreciate an option to only connect to peers on request. I pay per MB, and even though I usually have data transfer disabled it has managed to transfer 60 MB just this month.

A workaround for now would be to go into settings, add 127.0.0.1 (localhost aka your own device) as your trusted peer, and check "skip regular peer discovery" when you don't want the app using bandwidth. Then when you get on free WiFi, uncheck it, and let it sync blocks. I'm watching my network monitor right now and it's going through January's blocks. It stops cold when I reengage the check.

Did anyone go this year and/or is anyone still in San Diego? I'm ~7 miles from the convention center just off I-15 with tons of nerd swag & otherwise for sale, for out-of-towners who want to check stuff out in person, buy with BTC, either take home yourself or have me ship.
2004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unstable BTC value is negative point ? on: July 11, 2015, 07:05:53 PM
It's only negative if you are a moron and dispose of your BTC at a loss. One would presume a company wouldn't be running in the red or such razor thin margins that it would go bankrupt by not dumping (holding) BTC, with BTC conversions only a single digit or decimal percentage of their gross income, and they especially wouldn't if most other companies did the same.

2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any online bitcoin privatekey import service ? on: July 09, 2015, 08:56:27 PM
The volume of BTC loss from blockchain.info wallets is the highest, above any/all other web wallets currently operating, so it's good that you're not using it.

What do you intend to do with your private key after you import it online?

What's about coinbase ? they have an option to import private keys ...... are they trustworthy ?

Coinbase is government-regulated, which means that whatever the government wants Coinbase to do, that is within Coinbase's power to do (anything having to do with fiat, USD, identity, etc), Coinbase will do, no matter how unconstitutional, illegal, or repugnant to liberty/human rights it is. Proper searching for Coinbase will show they have been doing these things already.

2015  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: July 09, 2015, 07:22:13 PM

So the whole point is for open bazarr to facilitate the sale of weapons and child porn and anything else someone might want to sell? I'm sure "let the authorities deal with it" will stand up in court. What makes them different from Ross Ulbrict other than they're not directly profiting off it (though arguable seeing as they got a million in funding recently and will likely get more)? Regardless that wont matter to prosecuters as they wont care.

It's the equivalent of Bittorrent. Quite a few people have been nailed for facilitating torrenting, mainly the operators of listing sites. The inventor of Bittorrent has done nothing wrong and is living a free life.

Open Bazaar will send the software out into the world. The guy selling child porn is the one who chooses to use it for nefarious ends. He'll be the one who's nailed if they can find him.

I assume the escrow might be liable too but they'll have nothing more to do with Open Bazaar's developers than the pervert.

Silk Road was centralised. If DPR chose to shut it down then no more deals would've happened on there. He was the one making them happen as the middle man.

Just like Craig Newmark and the practically non-existent check of any illegality on craigslist.org

Anyway, to answer you question, blockchain.info is imho the best one
... for committing economic suicide.

did you even read my post?

I recommend him on first place avoid using web wallets  generally, also I gave him other options. anyway, this topic is about choosing web wallets and not comparing platforms..

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Did you, or did you not, say "blockchain.info is imho the best one" as quoted? Your "humble opinion" is indefensible, as the volume of BTC loss from blockchain.info wallets is the highest, above any/all other web wallets currently operating.

My late uncle Arthur shot these 4 ˝"x6 ˝" photos and put $10 as the price on each of them. One is of the indian woman statue fountain at Prado Plaza? (32°43'51.98"N 117°8'59.14"W), the other is an amazingly clear puddle reflection of a Casa del Prado tower.

$10/ each plus cheapest USPS shipping within the U.S. (including to an international shipping forwarding service of your choice) TBD, or you may pick up in San Diego, CA.

Ok that worked, now is there some way to shut the beeps up when you switch to the alert tab?

I thought the user would just go to a different page or close the tab...
Do you think I should add a button to stop the sound?

Yeah, because they might want to read the time of the confirmation.
