2001  Economy / Services / Re: PrivCoin.io Signature campaign manager bidding on: September 21, 2017, 03:46:39 PM
The reason why you cannot just automate it is that a bot cannot read the shit post spammers post. It would not reflect well to the image of the company if you would be hiring spammers that just blurt out non-sense or generally just doing short useless post like +1, I agree, Hi, or something along those lines.

Short posts can be automated. Shit posts cannot be automated though.

What we can automate:

Is the signature in use?
What is their forum rank?
Is their trust negative?
What is the bitcoin address they want payments to?
What is their post count now, what was it an hour ago?
Are their posts in any forbidden sections? Count the number that are and subtract them.
Are their posts shorter than X length? Count the number that are and subtract them.

Is our time spent doing that going to be less than it'd cost for a manager? Let's see what happens on this thread.

Still that won't solve the issue of post quality. No doubt, quantitative issues and some checks can be implied. But in order to maintain posting quality and to get most productive output out of your advertisement expense, a human eye is required.
Yet if you find manager's fees to be high, you have an alternative to hire a quality checker. Only purpose of the checker is to determine the quality of posters and inform you if anyone found writing shit. This could be cheaper alternative. Bot can perform its deed.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can the money go after China banbed its Bitcoin exchanges? on: September 21, 2017, 03:16:23 PM
I am wondering what type of options do the Chinese bitcoins holders have from the ban?

Most people would just sell their bitcoins before the exchanges closed and cause the price to drop, however, if they can move their coins to a wallet, then it would be a different story.

I know people can move their coins to their own wallets, but that is if the exchanges can provide them with the private keys and if they are proficient enough to manage their own wallets.

Another option which I can think of is to move their coins to an online wallet service such as Exodus or Xapo.  This is probably the easiest option.  Does anyone know if these wallets are restricted by countries?  Would Chinese bitcoins holders be able to move their coins to these wallets?

Well I still don't think exchanges are going to ban officially. Media is most of the time full of rumors and fake news.
Although even if they get banned, Chinese users can easily hold their BTC on any wallet (web or with private keys) as ban is only on exchanges. They will not be affected in any way and government isn't going to take steps against them.
But most of the users comprises of shakers. Shakers easily loose their confidence and run to sell coins in trouble.  So it would be hardly seen that investors will still be holding coins after ban and 95% would sell straight of.
2003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone care to share noticeable trends on: September 21, 2017, 02:31:55 PM
If we consider day price analysis of cryptocurrencies, we may not find any consistency or pattern in them. All the uptrends and downtrends are random. These all factors make day trading of cryptocurrencies (especially Bitcoin) to be very risky. But yeah there are some coins which you can hold following great news and pumps and sell the other morning.
But if you interested in major coins, do consider a healthy time period (minimum month or two) of patience to see your investment booming.

2005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: September 20, 2017, 07:03:51 PM
Aren't your opinions contradictory. On one side you saying that you consider those to be believers who hold their coins till becoming millionaire but on other side you are saying that believers are those who use Bitcoin for buying products!
For me, all those people who using Bitcoin in any sense like buying with the hope of rise, earning through it, day traders, merchants, project launchers, are the believer. So in 2017 everyone using Bitcoins over fiat are automatically the believers. We are special 0.05% of world's population which is much superior in fintech.
2006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pricing over 4K ,thinking about buying on: September 20, 2017, 06:28:50 PM
See, Bitcoin went to $2900 last week and now it's $4000. Possibilities are there that it drop to $3000 again in future but waiting for such time will what I call a mistake.
Better enter the market as soon as you can since it is not late yet.
There is much more potential left to be harnessed. While we consider the statement that Bitcoin will cross $10,000 to be vague at the present but future has much more for Bitcoin. With increased adoption in Africa, Asia and Latin America $10k isn't an impossible target anymore.
2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin was centralized? on: September 20, 2017, 06:01:43 PM
what do you think would happen to bitcoin economy if someone would actually take in control of it?

The whole ecosystem of Bitcoin has been designed so no one appears to be in center alone.
Over the period of 8 years, now it is assured that nor supply, neither the mining could be centralized.
Even with the best of hacking skills, no one could steal the considerable part of supply as it is already fragmented to large audience. On the other hand, crypto algorithm ensures that mining also can't be centralized.
2008  Economy / Economics / Re: To be a millionaire in the United States is to still be poor on: September 20, 2017, 05:14:11 PM
 Grin
I personally always consider fiat system backed by minimum reserve requirement prevailing in most of the federal economy to be the most failed one. How can public create trust in currency whose supply can be alter anytime through 'deficit financing'. As a result, country may hardly show deflation rate.
Cryptocurrencies have much more advantages over the system written above. Even if nations are non-comfortable with cryptocurrencies, they should at least adopt principles of cryptocurrency like limited supply and free play of market value so money value don't depreciate with time and recession don't hit more often.
2009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CRAZY on: September 20, 2017, 04:27:26 PM
Do you believe that much will be surprising at bitcoin's price when it reaches 3k usd per bitcoin. I think so many panic selling that the bag holders have. and there's panic buying that happens because bitcoin is cheap when incidentally.

who suggest nyo guys the fate of bitcoin and bitcoin cash.

now that it is over you can clearly see what happens when your scenario is happening!

whenever there is a panic sell and the weak hands are being kicked out of the market, the price can only go low to a certain level. it won't continue going down forever. there is always a bottom. this time it was obviously at $3000. if you try to push it lower than that you will fail miserably because there is naturally a huge resistance at that point.

so it is best to go with the flow. buy at and around $3000 instead of waiting around and asking others what may happen. you miss the chance like you have already missed here. you lost $1100+ profit per coin.

Typical investor lines. Cheesy
Yeah, this is a problem with large audience of crypto investors. With slight decrease in value of coin, they starting getting panic and hurriedly left the market.
But there is always a minimum known as floor resistance (it is obvious since all investors don't have problem so not everyone sells). After this point hit, prices again starting bumping in positive direction.
So all investors must take into consideration that instead on selling their units on decrease due to several reasons, they should rather buy more or ready to lament.
2010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wich coin is better for an asset on: September 20, 2017, 03:39:42 PM
which coin is better for an asset waves, ethereum , wings or bitcoin?

Well all investments are asset on their own. However, asset is the term commonly used for long term investment. So for long term hodling you should go for some giant coin whose much potential is yet to be harnessed. Bitcoin must be your primitive choice, however, Ethereum must not be avoided as many experts say it could go $1000 till the end of year.
Other coins like Waves, Strats, Lisk, QTUM too have bright future ahead but just keep in mind not to invest in hollow coins whose price goes up and down significantly just because of pump and dump.
2011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD's and China status? on: September 20, 2017, 02:28:10 PM
Chinese ban is still more of rumor and less of assured news. So we should wait at least some official sources to declare ban. If so happen, all the Chinese exchanges need to be closed. So just imagine if the news of BTCC closure brought price that low then actual closure of all the exchanges will kill the price to more low.
Hence be ready for another panic if so happens.
2012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] HUNT.BET – e-Sports BlockChain Betting Platform [CLOSED] on: September 20, 2017, 01:36:44 PM
Hello, Dear Developers!
I read the article about ICO, but I have a question - will we get our bounty-tokens?

Or we can forgot abou them...

First of all this campaign wasn't paying in tokens. Rather it was ethereum paying campaign and 3% of the total raised amount had been allocated to bounties.
Now campaign isn't able to raise enough money and 3% amounting to only 0.6 ETH ~ $170. I don't think it will be feasible to pay participants with that less amount. Manager has written about problem above.
So just forget this campaign, consider payment to be zero.
2013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about whitepapers on: September 19, 2017, 06:35:34 PM
What is your opinion of whitepapers you read.
I'm asking because I read few and was very inaccurate, very confusing.
Please let me know your opinion, thank you.

The quick glance of overview is enough to make pre-picture of project and if you find project to be unconvincing then reading whitepaper will add no good.
Alternatively only go for whitepapers of those companies which look promising. Their project will be more detailed and comprehensive in whitepaper.
We have lots of amateur writers giving services to write WP for $100-200, so you can imagine quality itself.
2014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending Bitcoin These Days on: September 19, 2017, 05:17:05 PM
I still feel Bitcoin isn't a currency which could be readily use as merchant currency. Away from OP reasoning, I personally never feel comfortable spending Bitcoins for commodities as with time when Bitcoin rises, I feel that I lost money.
There is a need of another cryptocurrency in contrast to Bitcoin which could fulfil merchant needs with more stable prices using Bitcoin ecosystem.
2015  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: September 19, 2017, 04:36:58 PM
What is a good amount of Bitcoin to buy for first time buyers new to the crypto market? What kind of return can you expect to see within a week?
For me there is no exact amount to buy bitcoin. You only need to wait for its price to dump. When you see it then that is a perfect tome to buy bitcoin. After that hold it and wait until the price pump or increase. Surely you will get profit there. Mostly people do that buy and sell to earn more money and that is a good strategy that you can do here in bitcoin.

Correct. There can't be an exact or adequate amount as everyone buys Bitcoin to make profit. And if Bitcoin rises, you make profit. Now profit is profit even on $1 or $1M. So it wholly depends upon the budget of investor, how much he could risk to put in Bitcoin. Else Bitcoin doesn't have any side-charges or very-high fees which dilutes the profit.
So you earn profits irrespective of amount invested if BTC rises.
2016  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you Do When You Run Out of Money to BUY During Such a Great Opportunity? on: September 19, 2017, 04:21:02 PM
So, I'm loving that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are crashing. It's been giving me plenty of opportunities to buy in on the markets. However, the markets are so low that I've bought ALL IN with my funds.

Here's the problem...

So many cryptocurrency markets are tanking... which means there are SO many opportunties to make money. But I can't buy anymore, because I'm all bought in.

Do I now wait until we go to the moon (or at least another high)? Do I try to day trade this?

How would you approach this?

The waiting is killing me and I want to play in the markets more!

If you are sure about profit then it will be better to dispose your current investment, get benefit from potential investment in short span and then buy back the former investment and hold till it matures and give even better return.
But all depends upon how sure you are with your potential investment. Mere intentions and emotions won't work out, you have to dig more and be sure about profits.
2017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The beginning of another bullish momentum! on: September 18, 2017, 06:03:05 PM
It have a good run today. But it still does not guarantee that we already entered a bull run. Let us see in the next days if it will continue the uptrend or not.

Earlier market broke on Chinese Media report about ban on ICO and exchanges.
Then second fall came when JP Morgan head criticized Bitcoin and Bobby Lee declared closing of BTCC.
But now market revived from these negatives. So we can for now believe that market is back to ride on bull again as there is none red light ahead. We had amazing August where Bitcoin jumped by 250%, September could be great too. Especially if someone aiming at high profits, I would personally recommend Ethereum over Bitcoin. Ethereum gonna rock in next 10 days.
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to Bitcoin if Central Banks start issuing their own cryptocurrency? on: September 18, 2017, 05:02:39 PM
Posted today on Reuter's wire:

http://www.kitco.com/news/2017-09-17/Too-Soon-to-Determine-Risks-of-Central-Bank-Issued-Cryptocurrencies-BIS.html

They are thinking about it!  Bitcoin has made an inroad, but will it make bankers honest? Or is it just a ploy to regain control of the money supply?

It will be beneficial for Bitcoin unless Central Bank launches it as in opposition to Bitcoin or to eradicate the use of Bitcoin from country.
Otherwise the concept of cryptocurrency will automatically ponder the buzz about Bitcoin among the public. Public would like to keep Bitcoin all along with National cryptocurrency because when people compare the two, Bitcoin will be one with more return as the latter one will be more stagnant since it will be regulated one.
Hence it will only lead to prosper Bitcoin.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: new coins listed on exchange : how ? on: September 18, 2017, 04:24:30 PM
How are new coins available on exchanges ? Who decide to put these coins on exchange ? What are the steps to put a coin on an exchange ? Are they some decentralized exchange where to put any new coin ?

Thanks for your contributions

Every exchange has its own procedure to list. While some are stable and established exchanges which take high fees as well as strict term to list new coins. Whereas some are new and small exchanges which take fixed fees or create poll and list new coins.
It is always the developers of coins who talk and negotiate with exchanges to list coin.
There are some decentralized exchange popularly call DEX like Etherdelta and several others in ICO stages. But I really feel that while trying to build something better, we are actually getting worse as DEX can be easily manipulated by bots or mal trading.
2020  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 18, 2017, 04:03:04 PM
Bitcoin has pumped back to $4000 and up, without no chinese markets involved, proving that we can survive government bans. I am very confident now in a strong recovery to an ATH. Once we reach ATH in a post-Chinese ban environment, we are going to prove to the world that bans on Bitcoin are useless, so they will either join us or keep getting exposed.

I predict chinese exchanges will eventually be back under regulated licenses, pumping the price even further. Get in now or cry later.

Bitcoin has already become the biggest craving for venture capitalists and investors. Almost all of the big traders and investors wanna add Bitcoin significantly to their portfolio. 2017 is the earmarking of this moment and it gonna extend much and much after this. This real adoption on such scale will gonna boost Bitcoin prices in only one direction and that is upward. So forget temporary downfalls, prices are now gonna strength much often.
And China was always a hoax. I can see Bitcoin adoption was much more than China in other Asian countries like Japan, India, Korea, etc. So forget China and let's make Bitcoin start again all together.
