2021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Words of advice on: February 21, 2022, 11:33:28 PM
Caution is always a duty, caution is required when dealing with unknown sites, as well as beware of phishing sites that use Internet addresses that are very similar to the addresses of famous exchanges, and when you connect your wallet, you will lose everything. You keep a list of trusted sites in your favorites and also you should beware of Telegram channels because it is full of scammers who try to steal your private keys, the golden rule is not to give your private keys to anyone in this world no matter what.
Save your favorite links, double check everything once you are doing something and never click any link from unknown sources since they can corrupt your files and you might be on a bigger risk, especially if you download fake files. Connecting your wallet should be done on a legit site only, if in doubt better not to try or ask someone to confirm if its legit or not.
Luckily we do really have this forum or community on which you could really ask out some questions on some manner or situation you are dealing with which you could really get
real time or real experience kind of responses which could really be helpful on your part.In terms of security then you should make yourself a bit paranoid when it comes to that
which i dont see for it to be bad looking but rather its just right to have those kind of measures because we are talking some money on here.
Then, it is away better to spread the good news and awareness to the people we know in order for them not to fall into this. Because if we are just into the silence, then this forum isn't working as a source of information.
Actually, we are hoping that the others will give more concern in regards to their security and keeping aware of this thing must be taken seriously. Our action will result something bad , a nightmare if we are too careless enough and I think we all don't want this.
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 21, 2022, 11:58:47 AM
Cheers to all who bet for Team Lebron out there.
I lose since I bet for Team Durant who are the underdogs. Should've taken that +5.5 handicap.  Grin But, I got myself one win and it hits just exactly as the amount of the spread.

Overall, I am happy with the outcome of the event as they were competing at that last quarter of the game. Enjoyed it and I think so does the organization that will receive the money.  Wink
But Team Durant almost win, that's a good try mate, at least it's a close match and for sure you enjoyed watching it. Anyways, you won the total so you are just even. I guess we have to rest for a while now, NBA will be back soon so we better keep that bankroll ready once they resume.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Sandbox will likely recover? on: February 21, 2022, 11:18:31 AM
I am The Sandbox 10k is it going to recover?? i am already 50% LOSE.  help!
Honestly, it's hard to tell but if it's a great project, for sure it will recover, so if you trust it you have to hold and wait until the price will recover. At the moment, the market seems a little bearish, so you cannot expect a good price if bitcoin is also struggling.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 20, 2022, 12:47:10 PM

Gone are the days when slam dunk contests have always been the most awaited thing during the all star weekend. It's really far from the usual and exciting slam dunk contest that we've watched and waited in the past years. Maybe they'll do better next year.

I hope they'll be able to read the observation of the fans, NBA all-star is supposed to be fun and exciting, so if the fans are not satisfied they should make an improvement as it only happens once a year and people are waiting for that moment to come.

Quote
But still, I have to congrulate Obi Toppin on his win.
Guess he is not even in the top favorites, but he should his best to try to entertain the crowd, it's just that among the participants he has the best dunks.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: February 18, 2022, 04:01:04 PM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
I hope you understand that investing in these coins has no assurance for a bigger profit, I'm afraid bigger losses instead. I have to say that there is no good reason of holding them as they are very close to the dump than going to the pump. I actually did some buys when Shiba is hot on the market but I already sold them during its peak, that might be the last time I saw Shiba at that price. But if you buy them and then hold longer, I tell you, you're not doing good, you are making yourself lose, not a profit.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: February 18, 2022, 03:21:49 PM
I think we are already done with valentines day. For now, let us going to evaluate what is happening now to this project, I guess it was dead already, of course, it will.

Well, anyway, investing in new projects isn't a bad choice if that shows a positive aura, in fact, I did it and it gives me some returns but honestly, that corresponds to higher risk compared to investing the old ones. But, with the suggested projects that OP had mentioned, that is something we don't have to do, not even a try as surely this project will fall into a scam.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: urgent Ukraine has adopted a draft law to legalize all digital currencies on: February 18, 2022, 01:02:15 PM
I would keep my cryptocurrency away from regulators. Even if it is legal in the country and has a legal status. In countries like Russia or Ukraine, the laws work not for the people, but against them. Probably once you put your address in front of the financial regulators you might get in trouble. Don't trust the government, cryptocurrency was created on other grounds.
I don't think you need to report your holdings on the specific address, there's no privacy anymore. I guess we should read the content on the law or legalization of crypto before we state our opinion on it. At least his country understands that with bitcoin and crypto, it can be a good hedge of the possible hyperinflation once the war will happen, it's a good alternative or solution to a struggling country.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 11:19:54 AM
I haven't really been in the loop of boxxing fights regarding professional boxxers like Kell Brook so this might be a little bit naive of me to ask, however I still feel the need to ask as I am a bit curious: Why does everyone keep saying that Kell Brook is going for Amir Khan's chin in the fight and if he does not, it would be a waste?

Did Khan have a chin injury or is that just somehow Kell Brook's special move? To go for the opponents chin?

Seems like a typical practice in boxxing anyhow, so is there any need to say anything much about it?

Check Youtube and use the keyword Amir Khan all losses and you'll find out why he is called glass chin most of his losses are coming from punch in the chin, the Canelo fight is very popular because it only took one punch in the chin to knock Khan out and it's a very worrying knock out because he was out in the middle of the air with his head banging in the floor of the ring.

Really? Well that does sound like something he should have learned / trained to guard for, by now. If he keeps losing because of his supposed "glas chin", then it only makes sense to build up some kind of future defense against it during his next opponents fights.

He's well aware of that since most of his losses is because of his glass chin.
If he wants to toughen his weakness, he should've done it a long time, but he chooses to train on his speed and agility forgetting his weakness. One open spot and his whole chin is an automatic knock down spot.
If his opponent is smart, he'll probably will take an opportunity to knock him down by countering all his offensively strike finding an opening on his chin.

That's a no-brainer, his opponent will always target his weakness but if he start it well and he can hurt his opponent, then we can expect that he will win. Kell Brook is also a tough opponent but also has some weakness as recently he is already losing on some of his fights, so this is really a good match for  Khan although his weakness still exist.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 18, 2022, 10:56:11 AM
OF course, everyone here thinks Casimero will not just win, but he will win by a huge knock out. And he will not underestimate Butler here because he will be fighting in his home soil.
That's his only advantage, he is fighting in his homecourt and he will have a lot of fans during the fight. I hope he will  give everything for the fans to be entertain, like a toe to toe fight we usually see, it's always entertaining that way.

So Casimero should be prepared for any, worst scenario but I think he will come up with a good win.
If he loses because he cannot control his weight, or he has problem with his conditioning, then the option is just to move up to a higher division.
2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 17, 2022, 11:25:21 PM
...I hear about these floats of new cryptocurrencies but have not idea how to know when they're coming...

A lot of new coins appear every day, but only a few percent of this amount may be promising in the future. Given the fact that you don't know where you can track the appearance of new coins, you also won't be able to independently analyze new projects. So you'd better focus on buying coins that are already being traded.
Indeed, buying new projects is seems too close to give is losses in the end. It is somewhat to see that majority of these new projects are worthless and can't be trusted. And instead of getting fooled with their incentives/offers, it was highly recommended to just invest in projects that are known to their potential, not these new projects. That was better to risk our money in old coins rather than wasting it on new projects.
2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pussycat Token (PUSS) on: February 17, 2022, 10:48:39 PM
What do you think about this memecoin? I think the website, roadmap and idea sounds good but i wonder why they deleted their telegram group? Do you think it is a Scam?

Thank you for your help guys
And you say so. Upon reading its name, you can just tell that it was a scam project, pretty obvious.
You don't need to wonder why these scam projects like this one won't have reliable members and often do not answer questions in regards to their legality and their motivation, you'll be blocked in their telegram groups once you start digging up.

It is too bad to see that many new projects turn into scams and this will somehow give a reason why new investors are in doubts to make an entry and this will also affect others that are legit.

2033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: February 17, 2022, 03:53:49 PM
I do sometimes wonder, when watching these egomaniacs make schizophrenic statements like "I am Satoshi" without providing any concrete proof, whether or not the real Satoshi, someday, if he/she chooses to appear in public and make himself known as Satoshi, would ever consider going against those faketoshis legally, for using his name. I imagine Satoshi could legally embarress and torture these faketoshi idiots.

It just really goes to show how fake and greedy our current civilisation really is... Roll Eyes

The real satoshi could probably be watching us, and he understands that there are people who will claim to be him because of the benefits they will get. However, these scammers did not understand how strong the community is, we won't easily believe in anyone claiming to be him because we already appreciate the fact that satoshis is anonymous in the first place.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 17, 2022, 12:13:20 PM
What a huge comeback by the Brooklyn Nets, down 28 points against the Knicks, they outscored them in the last 2 quarters, specially in the 4th, 38-19 to win the game against their rivals.

The Lakers vs Utah Jazz had just started with the Lakers taking an early lead 8-0. Jazz has to call a timeout.
I heard from the commentator that it was the biggest come back of the franchise or I heard it wrong. I was about to give up with my bet for the Nets until Cameron Thomas starts raining shots in different angles and different ways. That dude also has springs in his feet. He can shoot even while defended well because of his flights.
There's so much skills on that Nets bench and they are being stalled because of the stars devouring all the minutes instead of a better rotation. Nash should realize it by now.

I thought that the losing streak will continue but good news is that they were able to break it, the trade benefit them, Simmons has still not played yet but they are already improving, I hope the rotation will get better and the chemistry will improve. Can't wait to see Irving, Durant, and Simmons playing together.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 17, 2022, 11:44:55 AM
... And so he can focus more on the fight itself and go for a knock out victory.
I would love to see that again, it's been awhile since I see him knockout an opponent, the fight with Rigo was suppose to be exciting, but it turns out a boring fight, so it's good to see another excitement again and a KO will give him great opportunity to challenge the other champions.

Does anyone know who is his nutritionist and strength conditioning coach?
2036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: February 16, 2022, 11:31:03 PM
Mind that arbitrage trading is good and it really works if you are good also. But this never applies to newbies...
I have experienced this before and I have noticed that it needs for you to sit on your computer the whole (if possible) to monitor the price and that you need to check exchanges that offers a higher price. This is not suitable for the part-time traders, we have to spend a lot of time in trading especially for this for the sake of not missing it out. I did this before and I fail for such reasons.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin failed to fulfill the purpose it was created for ? on: February 16, 2022, 12:58:28 PM
2. Stay free from govt control.

This only happen because we dream adoption, and in order to achieve adoption, bitcoin should be regulated, otherwise it will be illegal and it's punishable to use bitcoin for transactions, we have to admit the reality that we have a government and we are living in a centrlized world, so that thing cannot be eliminated, the only decentralization is on the blockchain, other than that, it's already centralized.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 16, 2022, 12:19:08 PM
And then we see them lost big against the resurging Celtics, makes you wonder if Harden has jinx the team already even if he is not yet playing, lol.
LOL.  Grin
Kind of sad for the guy. He had been working hard on his career to achieve a championship but it had always been just close to it but can never reach out.
I wish he finds his new home in the 76ers. Maybe he has not found it yet with OKC, Rockets, and even with the Nets. This time if he gets along with Embiid then maybe they will become one of the formidable pairs of the league.

Phoenix Suns got another win from a close game against the Clippers. CP3 is getting better and better whenever his team is cornered and he showed it once again. Clippers on the other hand are making progress, trading Bledsoe may have affected positively for them.

Yeah, individually, Harden has accomplished a lot in his career, but as far as teaming up with other superstar it seems it has not work for him. They are close to the finals and beating the GSW if not for the injury of Chris Paul and I think that is the closest that he can get. After that they traded Paul and it's all on him. And yet he still failed, lose his enthusiasm to play with the Rockets asking to be traded and then he goes to the Nets. And now he is again on his new team. Not a hater of Harden, but I remember the late Kobe Bryant in an interview saying that kind of play will not bring him a ring and that is so true.

Harden style of play is quite boring IMO, his strategy is just to fish foul, and if the refs are not calling on his favor, his team will struggle. We've seen what Harden can do in a team and he cannot carry the team alone, so with a superstar like Embiid, then most probably his chance to be in the NBA Finasl will increase.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the objective of bitcoin redirected? on: February 15, 2022, 11:22:08 PM
Is the objective of bitcoin is dead or has it's been redirected on purpose?
It is to say that the main reason for its existence is to become an alternative to fiat money and yeah, we are already there.
If you do not know OP, some countries like El Salvador have already accepted Bitcoin as a mode of payment which could prove that we are very close to achieving it. We need more time for this as we know that adoption can't be instant and many people are still leaving in the doubts and have no knowledge about Bitcoin which perhaps we can't urge them anyway.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: February 15, 2022, 10:41:04 PM
Hello!I guess we all know its more reasonable to invest money into stable projects like BTC/ETH/SOL/ATOM/MATIC/DOT ect, but this isnt what this thread is about.
So if you were to gamble with a certain smaller percentage of your capital, which yet small and unknown projects would you invest into and why?

I've found no reason why I should have to take the risk knowing that I only have a little chance to make a profit from them and besides, I'd come into crypto to earn, not to lose. Of course, I'd rather choose those reliable projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum for long-term investment while the rest could be for short-term.

For we are in this market, we should be wise enough in choosing coins for investment as this is the only we able to achieve our goal otherwise, we end up in failure.
