That's called the law? laws not a problem when youdont know what your going to be charged for thata the problem. they declared low values on the s1 and didnt care then of the law. No surprise when there is a bunch of idiots spewing off about customs charges on a public forum ffs. You think that the various customs agencies across the world are too f'in stupid to do a google search? Sheesh, its like the Darwin awards in here. The only people you have to thank is yourselves for spewing out about it across the public internet.  |

2x SP10 finally arrived, US customs released the captives..
Whonesta, I read in the S2 thread that you just took possession of some S2 machines too. You've got quite a collection going there … adding a SP30 this year too ? ~L)L~ I will have my eyes open come Q3/Q4 (  ) I plan to move the S1 racks (6xS1) back to the house from DC to heat, so that should open up 4KWs or so. The SP10 is looking great so far so I can not wait until their Gen2 stuff comes out. Does anyone know how many AMPS this SP10 takes up during normal operation? Depends on how many volts Say it uses 1250W @110V thats 11.364 Amps @240V thats 5.2 Amps |

I think one of the hashing boards in one of my November Jupiters just failed.
Basically, whenever I connect power to this board, it seems to short out the power supply so the power supply won't turn on. I've tried two different power supplies, and the same thing happens with them both when this board is plugged in.
The unit runs fine with the other three hashing boards plugged into the power supply.
I'm going to remove the bad board and inspect it tonight, but I think it's done.
This Jupiter started acting up a week ago and would randomly stop hashing, and I suspect this was the cause.

That being said, is there any possibility to actually mine with only the PCB and chips without much technical knowledge? How are we supposed to communicate with the PCB?
You need to get up close and personal with Morse code, that is the only way you will be able to communicate, that and frickin laser beams! Seriously everyone needs to chill out, STFU and wait, no more stupid compensation questions, whining, and boo hoo sob stories. You'll only delay things further. The miners will come, these guys ain't jumping ship, its all hands on deck now for the final push. And just in case you wanna playa hate, I got 30k on the line here too, I'm sure BA will make it right, Jesus told me so. You think the guys working on the hardware have anything to do with forums, questions, whiners, or decisions about compensation? |

I've since filled the far left and far right with S2's and Jupiters. Also added #11 which is the start of the opposite facing row of 10 more racks. 20 racks is my goal. The DC was nice and gave me an extra perforated tile row in my cold isle.
I do have to say it's quite nice to have the S2's on battery and generator, since an unannounced (or planned for that matter) reboot often leads to dead SD cards. All together the 11 racks are 100% full and I'm using a total of 21 30A 208V circuits.
Are they November Jupiters? If so with the padrino firmware and the cool air in the datacenter you should be able to get each one up over 900Gh/s How many Jupiters can you get in the rack? I guess 10 if you can get 11 S2's in one. So an extra 20TH added. What are you at now? circa 100TH? |

Sorry, it is hard to read 105 pages quickly when trying to make a quick decision. If I were to order an SP10, would I receive that from stock right now and would that pay itself off? I currently have an KNC rig going at 560GH/s right now, but just wanted to add a little more. Also what I'm worried about is the power supply. These don't come with power supplies, so which power supply would be a good one for an SP10? And do these ship from the US or abroad? Just trying to decide to see if a purchase like this would be worth it. With rewards so low, I would want to at least break even....at least of course.

p.s. does the SP10 need external cooling to keep it cool at all, or all the internal fans do their job?
Yep...they are CURRENTLY shipping from stock...$2.795 + S&H... Yep...SP10 COMES WITH it's own power supply...in the box... No...made in and shipping from Israel...by DHL...or FedEx...
