Basically the next person that has a hash rate between 800 GH and 50 TH that finds a block.
Is there one or more SP20 to be won? Just one mate.

Just checked on mine, the extranonce binary is there as /usr/local/bin/cgminer-extranonce (4.8.0)
And there is a link from /usr/local/bin/cgminer to /etc/bin/cgminer which is the binary for the normal non-extranonce binary (4.7.0)
But setting the flags doesn't change anything, i assume it should change the link it to point /usr/local/bin/cgminer to /usr/local/bin/cgminer-extranonce

After setting 2: Try restarting the miner from the pools menu by just hitting the submit button without changing anything.
Also I think if you get the extranonce working it changes the version of cgminer that is running to 4.8.0 which you can check from the main page.
I've tried restarts (and reboots), with and without changes - but just again now to be certain. No change. I am cgminer 4.7.0 across the board. I'll try on mine in a sec but this is what Zvi said: Hello, I've got eight of the SP20 now. They all have fw version 2.5.64, my first 6 have cgminer 4.8.0, but my latest two that i got from the group buy have cgminer 4.7.0.
reasons? concerns?
(i tried searching back through the thread but i didn't find anything)
cgminer 4.8.0 means most probably that you set the "flag" in the advanced settings that allow extranonce version for nicehash.

For the compo, do you have to mine as a worker can you mine as an address?
You can mine with an address, but you need to be able to sign a message with it. If you mine to an address, you'll need to sign a message with the winning address, to identify who is the contact to claim the prize.
d'oh reading fail sorry, sure I read it like 3 times

Some of its downfalls, there arent many... Im not sure where to find its actual HW% since that stat is not exposed obviously in their ASIC stats page or in cgminer's API.... if someone knows, that would be great =) Fan noise, unless u run these severely underclocked, they wont work well as a living room miner. But I believe their is a fan silence mod u can do to them...somewhere on the forums...
That about sums it up! Overall extremely impressed!
HW errors is output in the API when I query it remotel but it reports zero.. maybe its just that zero. Would make a nice change I doubt its 0, thats just cgminer's default HW reporting field, my avy3 module didnt report its errors to this field either, it reported it in a custom field. If you go to asic stats page on the miner itself, u can see it counting HW errors, but theres no HW error total stat, from what I can tell anyways... Damn new it was too good to be true

If you're running the windows application, you must keep that app running to be able to connect from another web browser. You have to set it up, instructions are found in the readme. OPTIONAL - If you wish to access cryptoGlance from other devices, you'll need to edit the {{install_dir}}/settings.json file. Change line 30 to use your 192.168.x.x address, similar to: "listen_on": ["192.168.1.20", 4041], Eg: Run windows app, on your phone you can go to http://YOUR.IP.GOES.HERE:4041Otherwise, do what Biffa said A Raspberry Pi comes in handy for things like this. Sorry, never run it on anything else

Any suggestions will be gratefully received......
Try SD recovery card method, but maybe there is something else that you can do like hard reboot them a couple of times. Hi RoadStress, I've tried hard rebooting them a couple of times now (it's the only way I can, as I can't access the web UI anyway) but with the same result. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had this problem with the new firmware though, I don't fancy having to do a full SD restore/recovery only to have it happen again the next time I have to power down. It does seem strange that it's happened to both of them..... Which firmware was it? I'm up to the latest version but I haven't had a problem rebooting them, I also reserve an IP using their MAC address on my DHCP server.

Well after a couple days of using it now. All is good...
Is there a way to access the interface thru a web browser from another machine?
Install it on a linux box

Having a worker per miner is useful if you want to make sure each miner is performing as expected, also you can see at a glance if there is a problem with one.

Not my BTC but they sound like good choices.

Bitmain gave me 12 S5 coupons, I am still waiting to making decision what to buy.
How did you get S5 coupons? M I bought a 12 Antminer S5 Batch1 9 pieces still need to be rebuilt with S3 It is not pleasant, when the seller lowers the price with two months, from 1350 USD to 500 USD
Would you feel better if ASIC manufacturers increased the prices of their miners? It is better to know in advance the next price drop and not be a fool whose money distributed for free miners. No offence but that's a bit naive, if a company knew and published when the next price drop would be then no-one would buy they would just wait. Plus the fact they wouldn't be doing price drops unless market conditions required it, they would be maintaining the highest price they could for as long as the market would bear it.

myminer.io which re-directs to spondoolies-tech.com / sails ORM finds your miners for you. how often do these miners phone home and what information is being sent ?
* Device ID * LAN address * External (WAN) address * Firmware version It can be disabled in settings. once on initial firmware, my SP20 periodically connected by itself to something called BusyBox, which from the looks of it was some automated SPT program. It (connection or call upon) only occurred when apparently something was going wrong with the miner. I did not mind because connections like this probably help SPT to improve the software, but to see the connection was entertaining: "ET called home". I wonder if someone else saw the BusyBox making an appearance. I haven't seen it since 2.5.50ish, but did not look too closely because hashing is OK. Busybox : BusyBox: The Swiss Army Knife of Embedded Linux
BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any small or embedded system.
BusyBox has been written with size-optimization and limited resources in mind. It is also extremely modular so you can easily include or exclude commands (or features) at compile time. This makes it easy to customize your embedded systems. To create a working system, just add some device nodes in /dev, a few configuration files in /etc, and a Linux kernel.
BusyBox is maintained by Denys Vlasenko, and licensed under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE version 2.
Nothing to worry about

I have not been paid in 6 days and I'm owed B1.66. My place in the queue keeps moving backwards. It says there's 6 blocks ahead of me and then 6 blocks are found and it says there's 5 blocks ahead of me. Where did all the BTC go that are in the lag The amount I'm owed keeps dropping as well. Are you still actively mining or did you move your miners to another pool?
