Any upgraded contract from any cricket board would not address IPL situation but new random franchise cricket around the world.
For ex CA trying to work on Warner etc contract as they want him to play in BBL. BBL's last leg is clashing with UAE league and latter is offering big amount of money for just 15 days.
Also leagues like UAE came up with some ridiculous idea. Teams are allowed to have 9 foreign players + 2 local players, which means high demand for foreign players in specific window.
Salaries are shockingly low in the BBL and that is the reason why a large number of the Australian players don't want any association with that league. And also, I am not surprised with the overseas quota in the UAE league. Even the 2 "local" players in the XI are likely to be foreign citizens as they don't have any native players. All that said, the Emirates Cricket Board is one of the richest in the world and they can afford to pay huge salaries to star players. Other leagues will have a hard time competing with them for players.
Low salaries are part of it but not the main problem.
Summer is considered best season to play cricket in Australia that's why Nov-Jan is always booked with some kind of high profile test series (boxing day etc).
Problem is they keep BBL schedule at the same time and it's a long schedule for some weird reason which i don't know. And when schedule get relaxed then no high profile players subscribes to local franchise.

Yes, I agree but the salaries are also part of the problem. According to some players, they are getting paid so much in the IPL and the salary in the BBL is nothing compared to that. However, there are other problems as well, like the IPL which was the first of its kind and will always have a large number of fans and viewers.

Doesn’t matter how old it gets. The population of India itself is enough to generate enough revenue. But on the other hand, cricket is not the only sport that is popular in Australia. So the population is quite divided in terms of what sports they like. So the revenue also gets divided. It is not necessarily a bad thing for Australia but it is not necessarily the best thing for cricket as well.

The advantage is that here you get a huge number of people interested in cryptocurrencies. Communication with them, with the ability to ask questions you do not understand and receive answers in several opinions,

Where is there such a thing? Telegram groups? I don't think it's any more convenient. All communication eventually goes down in history, and it is simply impossible to take an interest in all the posts of a person who has become interesting to you. After all, telegram groups are notorious for having numerous people seeking to deceive someone.

If we say that many articles have been written about Bitcoin and there is a lot of information on the Internet, then in any case, through communication and repetition of the incomprehensible, in other words, information is better absorbed. That's what this forum is for.

But to all the pluses, of course, I will add the motivation to receive some financial benefits.

Here we will hear the truth from long-term and experienced investors rather than exaggerated advertising like other social networks. Besides knowledge and a place to learn, bitcointalk is a place to analyze projects with honest comments from members. Where you will instead of hearing hype from Shiller, you will hear real reviews from experienced members of the market.

Telegram is very convenient for messaging, but telegram groups don't have any trust, they create groups to discuss but they always abuse their power such as blocking, deleting messages that affect the projects they are shilling, our freedom of speech does not exist.
2043  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People Use Bitcointalk on: August 03, 2022, 03:30:36 AM
In a way, it's like you're comparing bitcoins with shitcoins. why do people only use and trust bitcoin, but they treat altcoins like garbage dumps? In the same way that bitcoin is of high quality, so is bitcointalk.

I have also visited the 3 forums you mentioned and created an account on altcoinstalk forum but I don't have any discussion there yet. One thing must be recognized is that the content there is not as rich, vibrant and quality as here. The original will be and always will be the best, copies can never be compared.
2044  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Regulations on: August 03, 2022, 02:48:05 AM
The government regulating the cryptocurrency industry in general is going to achieve little to none. They literally can't even stop traditional finance scams; what more crypto.

I am of the opinion that some kind of legal regulation is still needed in cryptocurrency. complete anarchy is not exactly the best solution, really fertile ground for attracting various types of scams.
I agree with you about the poor management of traditional finance scams, but out of all rules, cryptocurrencies will only become playgrounds for scammers.

It is true that we are afraid that regulation will cause us to lose our freedom, lose our decentralization. Nevertheless, without any regulation for cryptocurrencies, it will become a very messy and complicated issue, criminals will take advantage of this loophole to wreak havoc. Regulations will not be able to completely prevent fraudulent and scam acts but will reduce them somewhat and criminals will be held responsible for their deceitful acts.

I do not think Kohli's current problems are solely the result of his own actions. I think the huge expectation from him also has something to do with it. I believe that too much expectation has also got the better of him. India is obviously a cricket-crazy nation. So if a player is playing badly or is not up to the mark, people tend to point that out. So there is always some kind of pressure on the players because of that.
True, but he hasn't been performing well for years now which implies that all the blame against him is justified to some extent. The fans wanted him to become the next MSD, but he ended up becoming an average captain.
He is used to coping with pressure thanks to his immense experience which is why I feel that factors like advertisements, Bollywood, TV shows etc affected him a lot more in comparison.

The problem is, in India any successful cricketer is a very big public figure. Obviously, Virat Kohli is one of the biggest stars in cricket in the whole world. So he is obviously also a star in India. It is also interesting to notice that people not only in India but also on the foreign subcontinent talk a lot negatively about star players when they do not perform up to expectations. Virat Kohli has made it harder on himself by concentrating on Bollywood and politics. The only thing I can hope for is that he will be able to perform better. But he will have to work really hard for that. Sincerely, he needs to come out of the world he is currently in.

This is going to be a very difficult decision for Barcelona to make because they desperately need Frankie De Jong on the team and they urgently need money. The way Barcelona have spent money this season I think if Chelsea comes up with a really compelling offer they are more likely to accept that. Obviously, Chelsea also has the ability to make such an offer.

But Manchester United is also very interested. I know that they are not playing in the Champions League. But what if they present a very lucrative offer compared to Chelsea? Obviously, the negotiation with the player might break down because he would not want to downgrade himself. So in that way, Chelsea has more chances.

Chelsea are increasing their attempts for Frenkie de Jong currently. Manchester United are very unlucky that they can't sign him because of not being part of the Champions League this season. Barcelona manager Xavi said that they still had no idea about whether de Jong would leave the team soon. It depends on Chelsea's offer of course. I don't expect them to refrain from spending a huge sum of money as they are in a very solid financial condition.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 01, 2022, 03:03:25 PM
The biggest difference between West Indies and India in that match was the economy of the bowlers. The West Indies bowlers were not economical at all. But at the same time, the Indian bowlers bowled really economically. There was only one bowler from the West Indies who had a good economy. Akeal Hosein bowled 4 overs and conceded only 14 runs taking 1 wicket. The others did not do well at all. Alzarri Joseph had an economy of over 11 and Keemo Paul had an economy of 12. On the other hand, the highest economy of any Indian bowler in that match was 6.50. In a T-20 match having an economy under seven is absolutely remarkable. And that is where West Indies lost the match.

It was more about Indian bowlers doing a good job containing Windies to a low score. With a batting pitch, they managed to do a good job getting wickets at crucial times and curtailing the score. Windies batters are always hot or cold though. You just never know what you are going to get and psychology is never an issue with them. Ball just needs to connect with a couple of batsmen and the score just inflates like a balloon that has no bounds.

Well said. So many great cricketers messed up their careers by dabbling with politics and movies for the sake of fame and money(Imran Khan etc).
Kohli clearly couldn't handle the pressure as the captain of the Indian team across all formats which ultimately affected his batting skills too. This is why I do agree with what you said about them doing him a favor by giving him a break.

INO stands for — Initial NFT Offering

You are welcome.
I googled it too and it did show tell me what INO is? You probably just google INO and didn't show anything because INO isn't a trend yet and people don't go around looking for INO. Use other crypto related keywords and you will get the result you were looking for.

So what is this post about? What are you trying to say here?

...an alternative to the recent IEO, IDO, IGO trends.

What's IGO?
IGO is an acronym that stands for Initial Gaming Offering. According to my memory, the term was introduced at the end of October 2021, when the play-to-earn industry was booming. It seems that the term quickly fell out of favor as the market began to fall in November. But like we said, whatever it changes its name to they are just a form of fundraising, the renaming is just an excuse to reset the market.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 31, 2022, 06:04:55 PM
It's really hard to guess how Barcelona can sign expensive players, even though they are still facing a financial crisis, and there is still a possibility that they will encounter an issue because they still have to register these new players. I guess someone will be sacrificed here, whether it's selling some players or reducing their salary. Well even though it won't be easy (like De Jong who insisted he didn't want to be released to Man United), I think Barcelona will work on it.
Barcelona have forced themselves to spend too much in this transfer window where they spent 135 million as reported by Transfermarkt. It may not make sense to most people because at the same time they are going through a bad financial crisis. But somehow they are optimistic enough to be able to balance the situation even though they have to kick several players in order to register other players.

I watched their game against NRB, it was a good game for the Barcelona players but it's a shame Lewandowski again missed his goal opportunity. Dembele, Raphinha played well and that is the best thing this season. Dembele seems to be scoring more and more goals and he is starting to feel comfortable playing in various positions. I hope he can perform better this season especially because he is supported by other players who are also no less good.

Even though Barcelona has made some really smart transfers this season, I am still skeptical that they will be able to do something truly incredible. To me, doing something really incredible means winning the La Liga title and the Champions League title. That is the only way they will be able to make sense of all the money that they have spent this season.

And I absolutely know that Robert Lewandowski is going to have to be the one to score the bulk of goals, the same thing he did when he played for Bayern Munich. Otherwise, Barcelona is most likely to find things really difficult for them. Barcelona had a problem regarding the defensive line. But they did make some upgrades. I just think Barcelona risked it too much.

Pogba isn't available for a long time due to his injury and Juventus need to find a midfielder immediately. It is like they are back to where they started now and I wonder whether there is someone who can be a solid alternative to Pogba in the market. This is a big hit to Juventus right before the beginning of the season. Allegri must be aiming the title this time for sure. But if they can't strengthen the needed positions very quickly they might not start very well to the season.
Big problem for Juventus with Paul Pogba injury and need long time for him come back, actually really important finding new midfielder replace position leaving by Pogba, Juventus faced trouble on midfielder area last season and with Pogba hope could give service and assist for forward, but he got injury and absent with long time. Still have long time before window transfer close, I think Juventus have bigger chance and moving their target with new midfielder. Just prepare with how much money need for getting new midfielder with top talented like Paul Pogba, sure Juventus will find new replacement for Paul Pogba than waiting him back from injury.

Paul Pogba would have been one of the key players for Juventus in the next season. This injury is obviously going to cause a lot of problems for them. Saúl Ñíguez is probably being targeted by Juventus right now. He was on loan from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea. I think Juventus could have looked for a better option if they had the time. And I am quite confident that they would have found a better option. But now they have to hurry. The transfer window is almost coming to a close and Juventus need to find a suitable replacement for Paul Pogba. Already warning signs and the season has not even started.

I always rate Mohammad Sami at a level equal to that of Waqar Younis or Aaqib Javed. But if you look at the stats, you will see that he just played a total of 36 test matches and ended with just 85 wickets. Anyway, test cricket was never his preferred format. He was much more effective with ODIs. Wahab Riaz was one of those bowlers who had plenty of potential. But he also ended up with less than 100 wickets. And we all know what happened with Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif.
After the Golden era of two W's Pakistani cricket suffer badly with off and on filed controversies and this have big impact on this all player power and political influence both having always negative impact on cricket and after Sri Lankan attack incident they have never been on good track with Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif both were the best products of this era gone with their own guilt which was big setback for Pakistani cricket after very long time now they have good person as head Ramiz Raja is doing hard work for bringing these golden days back hopefully his hard work pay off in positive way, and they have good guys in game as well.
Right now, after long time new generation of fast bowlers coming around if they give them proper training and other facilities surely they can give them good results.

And honestly, I am doubtful about one thing. Does Pakistan actually have a substantial amount of talent hunts? I don't think the golden era of Pakistani fast bowlers is going to return anytime soon. But I am sure with Rameez Raja being an influential person in the Pakistan Cricket Board, he’s obviously equipped to help Pakistan a lot to bring forward more talent from now on. I almost like Pakistan just because they have produced some legendary players as well. Inzamam-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, and a lot of other players. Shaheen Shah Afridi is the latest find of Pakistan. Before him, there have been a few players who created a lot of buzzes but they did not prove to be as useful.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 30, 2022, 02:10:06 AM
Bayern Munich is the favorite because last season he was able to give an extraordinary surprise because he was able to enter the final and become a winner in the 2020-2021 Bundesliga so now it is not surprising that many fans idolize Bayern Munich. won again so wait until this league is over and I'm sure Bayern Munich can be champions again
I also think that Bayern Munich can still repeat its success in the Bundesliga next season by winning the League trophy again because until now there is no really strong opponent in the Bundesliga that can prevent Bayern Munich from winning again. Even though I would like to see there are several teams that can prevent Bayern Munich from winning again in the Bundesliga next season, but I don't think it will be next season.
Bundesliga remains a boring league and will still remain a boring league if other teams in the league fail to invest heavily in the team like as it happens in the premier league. The English Premier league is the only league I see fierce competition between the teams there. There is no small team in England, most of the teams are very strong because they Atleast invest in their team every summer which gives them a little hope of competing with other teams in the league.
I cannot predict who will win the Bundesliga next season because it's a boring league. But if I was to predict,I will always give it to Bayern.

Either the other teams fail to invest or Bayern Munich has to deal with severe problems. This is so that they are not able to play as well as they are doing right now. But the problem is that it is not likely to happen soon. The money that Bayern Munich has collected in the last 10 years is absolutely unbelievable. There has been no sign of bankruptcy or anything like that in recent times. The only way is if the other teams invest a significant amount of money and bring better players into the team to be competitive. In the beginning, we thought Dortmund would be the team, but now we know they only care about money. And I don’t think any other team will be able to get closer and compete with Bayern Munich at the top level. So it is going to remain boring for at least a few seasons to come.

What is your market expectations this 2022? Here is what I believe will happen, we will see more dips than price surge this year and that will happen because we have many more crypto believers now, if we are in 2019 now we would have been in a heavy bear market already, as time goes on there will also be more sell than buying and bears will get their powers back
It's actually true that we have been receiving so many crashes and bear market in this current year and it would take longer time for them to even recover from this crashes. Although some of the coins are recovering until today especially Bitcoin but just please be careful since in this market everything could happen instantly in just a short span amount of time.

Once a bear market happens there will always be such incidents, there are always scam projects, projects that fail during bear season. What surprised us was the collapse of top projects and major platforms. I don't believe we are past the bear season, the recent growth is just a short term price trap. The US economy goes into recession, the Fed raises interest rates, the war continues to drag on, there is no guarantee that a bull market will be upon us any time soon.

It is common for bull cycles to be accompanied by new trends. With the emergence of INO, hopefully we will soon see a bull market emerge in the market.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD or USDT? Which stablecoin is safer? on: July 29, 2022, 04:53:47 AM
Both are the same I think in term of safety, USDT could be completely messed up if people find out that Tether are not completely honest about the amount of USD they are holding to back up the coin, while BUSD depend on how Binance are going, if a new exchange become more popular, or Binance got hacked pretty bad, BUSD might collapse.

And I think most people do not consider stable coin as an investment, they just using for payment or just to hold some money on exchange while the market going sideway.

I also use both, when I use binance I prefer to use the busd, with a little favor from binance, but the rest of the time I use the usdt. Both are not secure but using them is a must if you are a regular crypto trader, especially during a bear market, stablecoins are pretty much used to avoid crypto volatility or use them to catch dips during bear season. Stablecoins are for temporary jobs, don't invest in them as they do not generate profit and risk due to them.
2057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 29, 2022, 01:07:43 AM
Timo Werner can exit Chelsea this summer only if Juventus are ready to pull the deal. I think the Old Lady's really need a backup winger and Timo Werner falls in the category of players Allegri want. Morever Chelsea have plan a loan deal which will involve RB Leipzig player Mukiele, but since PSG first them opening bid with the player, and it's also a done deal for Mukiele to Paris. There's still possible move that might go on for the German this summer, it's never too late for Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel to decide on what to do with Timo Werner.
Yeah, Chelsea should sell him while there's still some value to be had.  I think it's safe today that he's a flop at Chelsea.  What would have been if he went to Liverpool and play under Klopp instead.  If I remember it right Klopp had interest in acquiring him from RB Leipzig but he decided to go to Chelsea.

Anyway I'm seeing lots of new names I'm not familiar with.  Lol.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/19320627/chelsea-timo-werner-transfer-newcastle-juventus/amp/

Now both Newcastle United and Juventus need to move forward. Juventus have made some significant changes in the squad but they could not make the attacking lineup strong this season. And Timo Werner could be a viable solution to that problem. But on the other hand, Newcastle United might also be able to offer this player a lot more money than Juventus can. Therefore, this is going to be an interesting one. This player is not in excellent form right now and that should make the transfer fee manageable for both clubs.

If he is that busy with his personal life, then he should take some time off and stay with his family, right? If he thinks that playing domestic cricket will result in a downgrade, then I can't help. Legendary players such as Sachin Tendulkar and Steve Smith have played domestic cricket frequently despite their national commitments. Anyway, no one will force Virat to play domestic matches. If he don't want to play, then he don't need to. The decision by BCCI to allow family members to travel with the national team squad for overseas tours need to be revised. I guess that is causing a lot of issues and resulting in lack of focus.
I agree that he should take a break otherwise, I don’t think he will be able to play better any time soon. I really hate to comment on anyone's personal problems. Right now, personal issues are likely the only explanation for Virat Kohli's poor performance. He knew that when he married the Bollywood star, he was entering a life of glamour. But I don’t think he’s going to be able to handle that. Because his professional life is having a lot of negative effects.

@Sithara007 I’m waiting to see will Rohit and Dravid take the bold call of dropping Kohli, because if he’s choosing to avoid domestic cricket to get better then he should definitely be dropped. Furthermore dropping him temporarily could be the key to remind him why he needs to perform, and maybe then he’ll start performing again but if he yet fails then the selectors will have to consider about permanently dropping him.
At this point, there is no debate about this. Virat Kohli must be dropped for both the sake of him and the Indian team. Otherwise, nothing is going to be pleasant from this point on. I really hope that Virat Kohli also understands that. And at this point, I don’t think it’s about what Virat Kohli thinks. It should be about what is right for the Indian team.
2059  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone bought Bitcoin/altcoins already? on: July 27, 2022, 04:49:34 AM
I stopped buying for a while because the price is seemingly on the move up and I don't want to make a wrong decision now as i have enough of my funds inside Bitcoin and altcoins .
i can completely say that I am ready for the next halving and can wait for another couple of years holding,
maybe the available funds that i have now will be spare for the coming money problem so i dont have to take part of my investment in crypto if there is a case of badly needed funds.
Sounds like a good defensive strategy  Smiley
I would definitely guess that the best thing to do right now would be keep buying, not stop buying. I get that it is a defensive strategy, but if you are too defensive then you are going to end up losing money. To make it a lot clearer, take an example on how you would have 200 bucks, but only bought 100 dollars worth of bitcoin 10 years ago, that would be different if you bought 200 instead right? Millions of dollars worth of difference.

I know it’s not "that" clear right now, but it is similar mindset and if you keep buying more right now, you would double your investment when it is a bit over 40k and you would quadruple it when it’s around 90k even less, and that will happen with next bull run.
I will do the same, I will not stop buying. maybe bitcoin will fall further or will rise, who knows?. If bitcoin goes up, I will regret defending without buying any bitcoin from now on. If bitcoin drops in price, I will continue to hold and find ways to buy more. As long as I don't sell at a price lower than the price at which I bought it, I won't lose.
2060  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro currency going down on: July 27, 2022, 04:38:54 AM
The one that EU need the most is energy, they are all dependent to gas but they also wanted the world to stop extracting gas/fossil fuel. Actually its not just them, everywhere in the world needs gas to power up the cities.

Didn't they also printed EUROs last Covid? The problem with printing banknotes while your currency is not the reserve currency is that, its your country that is affected the most unlike with US printing USD is that every country suffers the inflation.

The EURO is weakening thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and the on-going Russia-Ukraine conflict. Russia's decision to cut Europe from gas/energy supplies, will greatly undermine the region's economy. The US Dollar is still the world's reserve currency, anyways. For things to get back to normal, COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine crisis must disappear for good. Things don't look bright right now, so we should expect further declines in EUR's value.

Ironically, the Russian Ruble is back on its feet after sanctions imposed by Western countries and the EU. I guess sanctions really backfired, putting the rest of the world in peril while Russia grows bigger and stronger than ever. Let's see what will happen during the course of the year as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine intensifies. Just my opinion Smiley

Gas supplies are dwindling, if Russia really cuts off supplies completely then I think Europe will be in a recession quickly. Russia may have been preparing for this war for decades, and Europe has been too dismissive of Russia when it comes to sanctions. Russian gas and oil revenues have tripled from pre-war levels, which the US and EU have miscalculated.

The war not only pushed the European economy into crisis but also caused division within the EU, so I still believe that the euro will fall even further in the near future. It doesn't stop here.
