So I think these tokens should not for as general trading.

So what is it for if not for trading? If not for trading, why is it listed on this exchange and other exchangers?
Having the ability to trade a token is part of what makes it valuable to me.
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community on: August 27, 2022, 11:10:28 PM
I agree that the demographics and audience that crypto aims to attract may be difficult to reach right now. In order for this to proceed, Bitcoin businesses might need to focus on more low-income countries and arrange partnerships with internet service providers and cell phone companies. The goal is to present information about a way for people without access to banks or currency exchange (2/3rds of people in Africa live below $2 per day) gain access to digital currency. To accomplish this goal, it must be made available at an affordable rate in places where these people live, work, and receive an education. Regardless of age bracket or level of financial resources available, there are steps that can be taken toward making cryptocurrencies more accessible.

Is this a custom script or a pre-made one that you bought from a third party source? Who are the original developers and are you in contact with them? Are they available for possible bug fixes or custom modifications? Can you post some screenshots from the backend?

P.S. I think you need to move this under Digital goods: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

I haven’t used freebitco.in for a long time and tried it again today. A lot has changed. What is Wheel of Fortune and where can I find it on freebitco.in? Sorry, I’m just too lazy to read the whole thread. That’s why I’m just asking here.  Wink

Check your profile on freebitco.in to see if you have subscribed to their email newsletter. At the bottom of every newsletter is a link to one free WOF spin.
Besides that, you can also exchange some of your reward points for WOF spins every day.
2045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: August 27, 2022, 03:46:01 PM
It took me many years to pay all my student loan debt, but I finally take on the freedom to start everything. After that I can still remember what I feel after I am free from my debt.

Start to save your money first, if you already in debt, start to pay it slowly. Don't ever do anything that would risk your money since you can lost it all. If you have a good job, you can save money to pay your debt faster. If you don't have a job that can pay your bills, then you need to make your work harder like doing freelance more than before. Do not spent money that you don't have because if you owe a lot of money with high interest rate it will take years for you to pay off your debt.

- What is the point of having ranks in a forum, which is supposed to discuss all things bitcoin?

The use of forum ranks in online communication goes back to the origins of forums themselves. The forum ranking system for bitcointalk community allows us to determine a user's activity and how helpful he has been so far. Whenever a user makes helpful post, guides or tutorials for the community he gets merit points and, over time, his forum rank is raised. The higher the rank of a certain user, the more experienced he is in bitcointalk community. The ranks go hand in hand with members journey on the site; as their rank increases, so too does their credibility and worth.

- What is the point of making a few chosen ones as merit source?

It is a way to distribute new merits in the system. Admin has hand-picked a number of high-ranking members who are in charge of distributing new merits to other members, who then distribute them to other members, and so on.

Is this roll from today? May I ask why base reward was 18 satoshis? It's around 56-60 satoshis here. Huh

In Freebitco.in faucet, the base reward increases when betting on events and playing multiply BTC game (paid rolls), as well as when buying lottery tickets. The base reward of faucet is equivalent to $0.002 in BTC, but this does not include the added bonus amount based on each player's unique betting history. You get 50-60 satoshis per roll probably because you gambled a lot more than some other users, so you have a bonus added to all rewards.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 02:37:33 PM
Man, you're a little wrong here (imo). Personally I don't want to do KYC for some offshore-registered services (90 % of casinos and book). And the reason is that such services has liability around zero , so if they get "hacked" or just sell their database to the third party, it will be near impossible to sue them.

I have no problem to do KYC with some services registered in trustworthy countries, like Bitstamp or bet365. But again, no KYC for offshore cunning rats!

I agree. I don't have a problem with KYC for payment services but I would argue that in the case of casinos and bookies it's not really necessary. KYC for casinos is generally done because the players might be using a fraudulent methods for gambling. And the surest way to protect casinos from cheating is to get some personal info and background check.

Casinos often claim KYC is required due to regulations and anti-money laundering laws, but that's not true. As far as I know, all AML laws and regulations apply to large transactions only. KYC for small transaction is normally not a requirement.

Welcome to forum bitcointalk Punt.com . I have already visited your website and I saw every thing is running  smoothly and nice, this is really an Plus point for a new gambling website and you also hire a good reputable manager for your signature promotion congrats for it.  But I have have saw that you required Kyc verification from Level 1 -  Level 4 but there is know details about those each levels benefits , Can you please give more details about it what is the function of those each Level ?
Basing on the terms.
https://punt.com/policies/aml-kyc

Withdrawal Threshold KYC. Additionally, and independently, every account, wherever or with whomever associated, will be suspended until adequate KYC diligence occurs once that account reaches a withdrawal threshold dependent on the accounts risk characterisation over the life of the account.

It would be good that there would be some numbers to be given so that the public would be aware
on each level of KYC.

Their terms and conditions and KYC/AML policy are identical to Stake.com casino. So, I do not believe that we can expect any additions from them on this matter. Most likely they are only whitelabel and it is possible that they share the same security department as well.
2050  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 26, 2022, 09:57:26 PM
Folks, use your common sense. 1xbit is a big platform and always pays its players.

There is no evidence of this as far as I know.
In fact, of all the gambling platforms on this forum, 1xbit is probably the only one where not a single reputable member of this community plays, nor has anyone ever shared a positive experience of winning a significant amount. If 1xbit is really a "big platform" as you claim, we would see at least some positive reviews from members whose opinion means something here, don't you think?
2051  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 25, 2022, 11:10:41 PM
It's kinda starting to be the same story. The same accounts every time attacking 1xbit continuously. I have stated several times that this is not the normal way of doing things.
<...>

You are a little confused. It's actually the other way around! There are a small number of sock puppets in this forum who are constantly shilling for a scam casino. You can identify them by their 1xbit signature and by their negative trust rating, as well as by the fact that almost all of them were dormant for a long period of time and suddenly activated to promote 1xbit scam. Think it's a coincidence?

You said earlier that someone was blackmailing 1xbit, but when I asked you to back up your claim with evidence, you just changed your story and continued to shill for your masters. So as you can see, it's kinda starting to be the same story.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 25, 2022, 10:42:31 PM
freiburg will definitely win easily against bochum, so far freiburg's performance is quite satisfactory (since this season started, freiburg won 2 times and lost 1 time).
I dont know if Freiburg will be win so easy even they are a strong and very good team at the moment.
Maybe we will see a different Bochum tomorrow after the last weekend and the defeat from Bayern Munich.
But its hard to win in Freiburg as they are good at home games , my bet will be a 2 : 1 for Bochum.

I agree we will see a different Bochum against Freiburg. Bochum played before with Bayern Munich that is out of their league but Freiburg is on their level. Bochum will play really carefully against Freiburg because they got destroyed in the round before. It will be a close match

Bochum will be eager to exact revenge after last week's thrashing from Bayern so I expect the guests to make it a game with plenty of pressure and chances, but all in all, Freiburg look a sure bet to take all three points from this fixture. My money is on a clean sheet for the home side.

2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is this 9000btc mistake a donation to the bitcoin network? on: August 25, 2022, 09:01:47 PM
A basic explanation will help about how we stopped backing up wallet.dat to be able to restore? Thanks.

I think this was a problem in old versions of BitcoinQT software. Each transaction generated a new change address that wasn't properly backed up, unless you copy a new wallet.dat file after each transaction to a safe location or manually write down the private key for each newly generated change address. This was solved when hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets were introduced.

My guess is punt.com will also run signature campaign right?. That's how I see and my guess is that Yahoo will be the one who will manage it. Good luck punt.com.

You probably haven't noticed yet, but as Piesel already mentioned before, Punt.com signature campaign was already launched, less than 24 hours after this announcement was made. And yes, yahoo is running the campaign, so I have no doubt that it will be run professionally.

2057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels on: August 24, 2022, 11:32:54 PM
First impression: Looks like Punt.com is combination of Duelbits and Stake.
After observation: Punt.com is copy of Stake.com.

The UI is same.
The deposit and withdrawal page, VIP tab, VIP rank requirements, menu bar, settings page, everything is copy paste of Stake (similar layout and written rules).
Terms and Conditions, AML & KYC rules are completely same. I know that online casinos have some common rules in the terms. But when it comes to Punt.com, you will see that they have copy pasted the Stake.com rules. There is no difference except the name of the casino (at where it is written).

Anyway, welcome to bitcointalk forum. Where is the uniqueness of your website?
I have already informed about it to Stake live support. The support agent said that they will do further investigation on this.
This is a huge claim. You should at least include images (screenshots) of those pages to support your claim.
<...>

Here are a few screenshots for side-by-side comparison:

Punt vs Stake: Original games - Index

Punt vs Stake: Baccarat

Punt vs Stake: Blackjack

Punt vs Stake: Dice

Punt vs Stake: Roullete

Punt vs Stake: Provably fair

As far as I can tell, there is no doubt that Punt.com casino is heavily inspired by Stake.com. Now I'm no expert, so I don't know how far "inspiration" goes and where copyright infringement begins. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable in this area can comment.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 24, 2022, 10:06:31 PM
Gambling can be a real problem for some people. They tend to lose control, spend large amounts of money, and lose track of time. People who suffer from serious gambling addictions can have extremely negative impacts on their lives. It can be difficult for an employer to accept someone into a position with such a problem. But, do employers really have a right to ask applicants about their personal habits before giving them a job? I don't think so. An applicant's gambling history is an entirely private matter that shouldn't be discussed or brought up in an interview. It's none of the employer's business what you do with your time away from work.

Bitcoin is forbidden in many countries ‍as well as allowed in some countries.

Where did you get such information? I think it's actually the other way around; Bitcoin is allowed in many countries and forbidden in some countries.

According to this map from the coin.dance website Bitcoin is unrestricted in 132 of 257 countries/regions.

2060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: August 23, 2022, 10:37:34 PM
I think Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are the best investment at this time, but there are things we must understand that the chances of crypto for drops are also large so that when we invest then the next thing is don't panic to when you are typing to see prices down, be patient will make us profitable.
There are many aspects that we need to take into account before starting a Bitcoin investment. Don't invest because of FOMO. After buying bitcoin at a low price, it's better not to constantly monitor the price in the market so that when the Bitcoin price suddenly drops, you don't panic.

I agree. Bitcoin is not for the faint of heart. It's a high risk-high reward investment and it should be treated as such. Only invest an amount that you're okay with losing, preferably an amount that you won't even miss. One day, your Bitcoin might be worth $100,000 or more; another, it might drop to $10,000. The price is particularly volatile right now, so it's hard to predict what's going to happen in the near future. With all these caveats in mind, there are two reasons why I'm bullish on Bitcoin: 1) the utility value of Bitcoin and 2) the speculative value of Bitcoin. The bottom line? If you're looking for investments that are both profitable and stable, then it really doesn't get much better than investment-worthy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
