To be honest, Nice took everyone by suprise this season, there performance has been outstanding and they led the league for quite a long time before it became dominated by PSG, however their consistency this season has been top notch and im pretty sure they'll qualitlfy for the UCL next season, well im not pretty sure about Nice winning the trophy, but there's is a possibility if they bluster their squad depth, especially in the attacking area and also maintain consistency.

 Well we all know PSG for being the big boys only in the Ligue 1, they always fail to show their capacity when they play against other top European clubs, despite the quality of players they got, well they're lucky to have got past the group stage in the UCL and now they'll have to focus on the Ligue 1 for a while and try to widen the gap seperating them from Nice, PSG are the potential winners of their league but when it comes to the UCL, i feel they might not survive the round of 16.

Mazarri's Napoli has undeniably being at their average performance since he came to the team. They've being giving thesame range of performance week after week and although they've not really been able to stand out as much as they ought to but it's believed to be a gradual process. Satisfactorily, they won their UCL game against Braga which gave them the push to the next phase of the contest. Now their focus and work would be on attaining good results in both races. Basically, they've got to do better than average.

 By weekend, they'd go against Cagliari who's not much of a tough team and it's expected that with Mazarri's input and the caliber of squad in Napoli, at least a win would be bagged. Maybe Cagliari would be a boost to their confidence and a beginning of their above average performances. The race is still on in the league and even if there's nothing else to fight for, they've got to struggle for an European cup ticket for the next season

Leverkusen have been able to keep up with wins and maintaining their position on the league table even though the trophy isn't certain to rest with them, their consistency at this time works the magic because it is clearly a sign that they're a better side to hold the trophy this season. I personally do not think they'll suddenly and gradually draw back in performance which would cause them to backslide in the table. Alonso would be very mindful not to trade his chances with the team.

We don't know how tough the next league game would be for them but it's very much likely that they'd want to make amends for their last errors, the second half of the season is still there for these teams to do their exploits. Chelsea and Manchester United are currently having similar issues; one needs players and the other needs both players, coach and luck to get back to winning ways and this is one bizarre thing as they’re both among EPL’s top 6 but with this kind of performance I don’t see both teams going close to the UCL next season, cause both teams have become a shadow of themselves.

And to crown it all, sit top of the league table. Xabi Alonso is doing his job perfectly and making the clubs and the fans proud. And with this form, they’re favorites for the Europa League.

 Sevilla have lost its glory but with hopes that they’ll bounce back by next season and continue being a threat. The coach should be able to manage its players and know how to get the team out of it. That will make the team successful, for this season, I think Bayern Leverkusen have taken their own glory, and I'm also supporting them to become very successful in the UEL tournament and probably win the trophy if possible, cause with the level of their performance  they really deserve a trophy, I just hope they maintain this current form till the end of the season.

Yes, they’ll sure be given higher odds considering the league they play in which is no close to the top flight league and they play against a Gladbach who could cause an upset for bigger teams in the top flight. I think in this match, Saarbucken have no hopes at all, except things go in their favour few weeks before matchday.

 Saarbucken and Mochengladbach are both having same game play and style but in football the better and intelligent team wins which I think will be Mönchengladbach, well let me not conclude cause in football anything is possible, If they could eliminate the mighty Bayern Munich from the tournament then their a possibility of them doing same to Gladbach.

Munich have their eyes on Barcelona's player Araujo. The player in question is enjoying his time with the team but sadly he's on the list   of players to be likely evicted from the team. Barcelona are currently experiencing a bit of financial crisis and so they'd do everything possible to generate revenue for the club and then sir back to make new and better purchases for the team. Araujo doesn't really have much work to do for Barcelona, the only hold back is the fact that he's got more dedication for the team but if Munich wants him at that rate, it's definitely a good offer for Barcelona and a better offer for him because for Tuchel to pick interest in him, then it means the manager has got a spot and work for him to do.

 Munich is a team that every player would want to showcase their skill with the playing time they're given. The team is best at what they do in all areas of football. Araujo seems as an advantage to the team's defense and I believe Tuchel knows the kind of layer he wants in his team that's why he opted for him. Girona has been doing really well in the soccer season, surprising everyone with their great performance. Even though Girona even Girona is playing perfectly, I didn't expect Girona to win when they faced Barcelona because Barcelona is also in good shape, especially since the match took place at Barcelona's home. The most surprising part for me was that Girona actually defeated Barcelona.

 But in my opinion it still won't be that easy because to become a leader in La Liga you have to have deeper experience. even competing with popular teams in La Liga is not an easy task because popular teams have more experience with various strategies to be able to regain their position first. but I really hope there is something different this season Girona must become the leader in La Liga to see new history without the boredom of seeing every season led by a team that always dominates La Liga. They'd have a league face off against Alaves this weekend and it would be a bit easy because even though Alaves have been in form, they still don't stand as much chance as required against Girona.

Napoli has not had a decline in performance since Mazarri joined the team. To me I'd say they've been on average performance and they've been at thesame range of threat to every other team. Not their fault that they're at average but definitely at the arrival of a new boss, there's got to be time to implement and map out new unique strategies and then also the team has got to adapt to the new scopes too.

 Since Mazarri joined the team, they've managed to get goals even if not as tangible to earn them victories but it's not always their fault . At least they've not really been in defeats to lesser teams. Napoli now is at a level where they play to explore the game and possibly win if chances are at their mercy too. This weekend, they'll be playing Cagliari who are not so much of a strong team or better off in thesame range as Napoli so the chances are not so different for both teams to win. Hopefully Napoli could still convert the game to their favour and be victorious.

I must say that I am shocked by the results of the game. Arsenal played against Aston Villa, it was a game in which all attention was on seeing if, after Aston Villa had defeated Manchester City, they would also be able to defeat Arsenal, something that wouldn't be easy, but it wasn't impossible. and that's what happened on the field, Aston Villa defeated Arsenal and this is something that could really harm Arsenal in the race for the title, I don't know what the hell is happening with Arsenal, even though they have a good squad they couldn't score a goal in that game today, they didn't look like a team that is fighting for the title, on the contrary they looked like a team that is fighting to stay in the top 4. for Aston Villa this victory puts them in third position and they can fight to finish in one of the 4 positions or become champions, I no longer doubt that.

 The game between Villa and City was really much anticipated to see City being the victor but a whole lot of people turned numb when Villa netted in the first and only goal almost at the injury time of the game. Twas then that it was realized that Villa had never lost a home game for a number of weeks and City didn't even have the power to break the jinx, for City and most football fans, it was a bad night because the hopes were high and the expectations were clear. City on normal grounds are a better side to Villa but things took turn. Villa dominated the game from the start to the finish and it was really heavy on Guardiola because again his team has not been able to secure a win.
