PSG is a good club with outstanding players, the current form of PSG is satisfiable to the fans atleast they're winning and also doing better in the UEFA Champions League, these are the things fans are proud of and hoping for a day to come, when they will lift the UCL title but definitely not this season. Paris Saint Germain is a great club, no doubt about that, they dominated the France league with magnificent performances though they're not in form this season, other watching their inconsistency stats in matches. Nice putting up threats and top run for the Ligue One title this season.

Nice has really shown some good strength so far in the Ligue 1 this season and they are definitely not a team to underestimate because they have really shown how good they can be, they did top the league table a few times this season and later got displaced by PSG which I see as normal due to PSG's consistent dominance in the Ligue 1.

PSG hasn't been in their best form recently and it's no doubts they have got one of the best squad in the french league this season but then they recently looked very unstable with their performance, making it look like they are still finding their feet. They will be more confident this time considering they just got passed the group stage in the UCL, this is a very big boost to their morale and it has been their dreams to lift the UCL and they are a step already into making that dream a reality, I'm optimistic they will go sit up and probably improve their performance having been aware of the magnitude of the new task ahead both in the UCL and the Ligue 1 where they have to maintain their spot if they must defend their title till the end of the season.

Lyon did a really good work by beating Toulouse on the previous week. I wasn't expecting them to be that much dominant honestly. Lacazette even made a hat-trick and put a great end to his goalless streak. Because he has also been playing really poorly just as the rest of the squad for a long while. But will this 3-0 win be some help for Lyon to continue winning?

I really don't know about that. Their job is going to be much more difficult next time as there is an away game against Monaco. I feel like this will also end up with another loss for Lyon. Monaco are having a really decent season and I don't think they would lose points to a problematic Lyon home.

It was a great start for Lacazette after this season having barely seen him score and once he did he scored a hat trick. I'm curious that one of last season's top scorers will likely start to return this season if his performance is still the same as last time.

I'm not so sure this victory will bring Lyon to consistent wins and it looks like we will still see them suffer a defeat or even a draw. Talking about the next opponent is Monaco, I will be a little optimistic about Lyon even though in reality they will lose again but at least they have to try first and taking advantage of the momentum of the previous win will also improve their performance.

He is 32 years old so I understand him about not being very consistent. But actually he was still not like this at all in the previous season. He was like a goal machine which was nicely fitting a star striker like him. This season Lyon are very bad as a team and Lacazette must also be affected badly by that psychologically. Maybe this improvement would push Lacazette to play better to be some help for saving his team from the relegation zone. But the team need to play stronger and more consistently before anything else. He needs to be able to get the passes he would like to finish.

I don't really think it can be easy for Nice to claim this title from PSG. There are some league that the winner most times hardly change(Ii.e the league isn't that competitive). This is where the french league fall. It is not in anyway competitive. PSG has been dominating this league for years now. Although PSG are not really in great form compare to before but any team that will claim the tittle from them will definitely do extra work.

Differences in club finances could be one of the factors why in some leagues there is always a club that dominates to become league champions because a rich club like PSG will have no problems in finding players to continue to strengthen its squad from season to season while other clubs actually do the opposite when having talented young players and are being targeted by elite clubs who will be willing to let them go in order to earn money for the club, so seeing PSG become champions is a big opportunity this season and if any club can thwart it, of course, it will be surprising, because teams like Nice, Monaco or Lillie will be strong competitors from the beginning to the middle of the season only after that they will find it very difficult to maintain their appearance.

Finance has always become the main factor why some clubs were dominating the league. Take a look at EPL which has been dominating by manchester city. We do know that city has owned by billionaire and this proves that if money was everything in the football.
As long as you have money and you can build the club whatever you wanted it. You can but lots of good players combined with good coach and management. Money is the main reason why people are also playing football.

Nice have been outstanding with their performance in the French Ligue 1 since the start of the season and judging by what we've seen from them so far, I'm very optimistic that they're gonna have a good campaign in the league this season. However, I don't think they stand a chance of winning the French Ligue 1 title ahead of current French champions Paris Saint Germaine. PSG has been the most consistent team on the competition this season even when we all know that they've not been at playing at their best as a club. The quality of players in the Paris Saint Germaine set up makes them stand out from the rest of the teams in the league and losing the league title to a Nice team with lesser quality of players would surely not be acceptable to the management and fans of PSG. The manager of the club Luis Enrique knows he can't afford to lose the league title with the quality of players at his disposal and that's why he introduced better playing style that saw them significantly improve from their very poor start to league season while overtaking Nice in the league standings.

To be honest, Nice took everyone by suprise this season, there performance has been outstanding and they led the league for quite a long time before it became dominated by PSG, however their consistency this season has been top notch and im pretty sure they'll qualitlfy for the UCL next season, well im not pretty sure about Nice winning the trophy, but there's is a possibility if they bluster their squad depth, especially in the attacking area and also maintain consistency.

Despite confirming the round of 16, it's been a challenging journey for them. Making it to the round of 16 seems more like luck for them. Lille has the ability to match PSG's game. In their last meeting, PSG played at home and it was 4-3. It was a very interesting match by both teams.

We know how ambitious they are to be able to win the title in the Champions League, for years they have tried to make it happen and they have spent a lot of money to bring in many star players who are expected to help them realize their great desire. But until the last season they still failed to realize it and now their star players are also no longer in the squad.
I think they will make the Champions League a priority, because they in LIgue 1 have almost no very tough competitors to be able to tackle them. I don't pretend to think other clubs are bad, but with the strength they have, they can be quite easy to become champions again this season.

Rotating players is something that Luis Enrique has to do so that the important players he needs are available for their UCL match, but the next UCL agenda is still quite far away and their away match this time is important enough for PSG to win IMO.

Regarding betting odds in this match, the two teams have an imbalance in terms of odds, on a 1X2 bet the odds for Lille to win and draw are the same, it's at @3.85 (currently). So actually I doubt that PSG will lose this match.

In the second half of the season, many teams will start to lose consistency and this may mostly be due to injuries to several key players, so this will have a negative effect on the matches they play. Nice and Monaco might be challengers behind PSG, but only in the top two to three positions in the standings because becoming Ligue 1 champions is still quite a long shot depending on the composition of players they currently have.

Marseille may join them but we will have to see how they play and also when we enter the second half of the season. But even if you look at the composition of the current standings, there are two challengers that Marseille must overcome, where Lille and Brest are above them, even though the difference in points is not far.

Although they've been having some problems lately, I really want PSG to win. Even though they have a great team, I have noticed that they arent quite hitting their stride this season. Of course you are right PSG has been impressively doing well on this league season, actually considering there wining over all statistics on this French league one, they have played 13 matches on this league One , from September till date and they have made a quite impressive improvement and performance because out of the 13 matches they have played, they have won 11 matches and draw only two and have not lose any match, what a brilliant performance I wonder if they had channeled all the energy and performance on there champions League matches how far they would have gone.

Because there performance on the champions League is not like there performance on this French league, they seem a little bit struggling on the champions league group but however they manages to secure the second position on there group and however if they manage to beat Lile on there next match it will really give them a good edge over most of there competitive team.
