2061  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for a safe payment way for online selling on: April 06, 2019, 08:01:52 AM
transferring bitcoin is irreversible so if he use it as payment online he should do it accurately. Besides, it is faster and easier using bitcoin as payment with no hussle at all. This is one of the disadvantage of using bitcoin, other payment online can be recover if you accidentally transfer it in a wrong way because they are centralized unlike bitcoin. But if you are using some bitcoin app that has customer service maybe there is a possibility that you can recover your lost bitcoin (I am not saying the one that sent in wrong btc address.
Lol, I think you guys are just confused. This guy is a merchant and he's looking for a safe payment method. And from what he said, he wants a method that is irreversible and that doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

If he needs a method that is irreversible then he can make us of Bitcoin but a lot of people are not going to like that. This means that he can sell a product having defects to someone and there will be no way for them to return the product and asks for a refund. No one is buying that.

If you have your merchant site, the basic way for accepting payments online is through credits and debit cards. Majority of the merchant sites I see these days are accepting credit and debit card payments and I think it makes thing more easy for your customers. You may choose to accept other methods of payments. There are people who accept eChecks, and mobile payments are also another popular methods that are being used.
2062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for lots of negative articles on bitcoin on: April 05, 2019, 07:33:45 PM
I have learnt not to even fall prey for this shit talk by them, I think the only people it can only work on are the new investors, whales has used these method for us several times to make a lot of investors panic sell and dump the coin to their own advantage, but we are not kids anymore in this crypto, so we are not falling for that.

Right now, I know the bull is back and I am so happy we are at the first stage of it but there is still room to buy more now and make more investment, anyone advising against this is an enemy of progress and we shouldn’t listen to them so they don’t have us with their own mentality.
2063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone now seems excited after bitcoin reaching to almost 5k Usd. on: April 05, 2019, 05:42:05 PM
Of course a lot of people are excited they have been waiting for the rising long time ago, this will give a positive trigger for investors to put in more money, but need to be careful that this another pump and dump scene, its better to stay calm and see the progress in the next few days, don't get overexcited
So staying calm now, what exactly do we stay calm for, is it that we stay calm before investing more and wait for few more days to see if bitcoin will continue of this trend or reverse back to the old price because right now, many of us are still out there interested in investing more but we are a bit confused on when to do so, do we just buy now or we stay calm to see the price direction again before buying, and you know, we still need to be careful not to panic buy so that we don’t end up buying when the price becomes high again.

So, if your advice here is that we should stay calm first before jumping into investment, what price will determine when we should stop being calm?
2064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: April 05, 2019, 04:38:21 PM
Also remember that just because we’re in a bullish trend temporarily does not mean we’re out of the worst of the bear market yet. This recent rally failed to break $5300 (more significant resistance at ~$5500 too), and might continue to break downwards from here as there does not seem to be a significant amount of supports below this price point as we rose so quickly in price. Best you can do now is to not be too greedy if you choose to be bullish or bearish, the market’s slowly shifting from bear to bull but we aren’t in a full blown bull market yet.
Everything depends on us the investor, we can choose to remain in this bull trend or we chose to force is back to the bear market, my prayer is that people, especially long term investors will have no reason for now to pull out their funds because of one thing or the other that they need the fund for, usually, long term investment is something one is meant to do leaving ones investment for a very long term(let’s say 5 to 10 years).

But, even long term investors are now becoming a short term investor, reason why we will always say, invest money that you can leave in the market for a very long term but it seems, people pump in all their saving into the market sometimes with the intention of making profit on it within the shortest possible time and this is why the market becomes unpredictable because any investor can decide to pull out his fund at any time which might be running to millions of dollars. I just wish we have long term investors more than the short term investors.
2065  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange sites do not require for verification of ID on: April 05, 2019, 09:43:04 AM
Most of the exchanges I would have suggested for you like Huobi makes use of KYC but I think yobit will be the best option in this case because I don’t use Kucoin, so I can’t tell much about them.

It is really unfortunate that your country is blacklisted on Binance, but I think you should still be able to work around this, the only way Binance will be aware of your country is via the information you filled, if you can get a friend in one country that is not blacklisted to help you open an account with his or her details, you can get a lady because I don’t think women participate that much in cryptocurrency, let her open an account for you with her details, then you can change the password, with this, you should be able to boycott the restriction of a thing.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 04, 2019, 01:57:54 PM
For me, when I experience a loss in gambling, I just look at the game and say its only money lost not loss of life and it’s not worth dying for, so I move on quickly. I try not to remember my mistakes, what I did wrong that led to the loss or what I should have done, this thought really hurts and it is better to be avoided.

Moving on quickly helps regain strength to come back stronger for the game but thinking about the mistakes is depressing. Again I tell myself that anyone can lose in a game, it’s just a game and it is not the end of life. I have think this principles have helped me greatly in overcoming loss in gambling because it’s really hurts to loose in gambling and if one is not strong enough to handle it, it can lead to a more serious loss.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: tell us about your latest gambling experiences on: April 04, 2019, 01:00:27 PM
its nice to know that friendship became more stronger due to gambling  . this things can lift the reputation of gambling because we oftenly hear bad feedbacks about gambling   . by the way  , that did not happen to me although i do have friends but they dont gamble since they are all busy on their jobs .  my latest gambling experience is bad because i loose on an esport betting site .  i did bet on the best team ( the one that i know ) but unfortunately bad luck strikes  .  sigh !
I have had a similar experience. I met my best friend in an offline gambling center and we have since then become closer than brothers. We bet on football most of the times and it can really be fun, gambling has a way of making friends closer. My last gambling was fun I must say, though I lost to my friend, we had a bet on a football match and his predictions came out right while mine was wrong, it was about $50.

My friend was really glad because he needed that little money at that moment and I am glad I was able to be of help even though I did it in form of betting. Am sure it was a big risk he took on that bet because the little money he had a bet on was all he had at that moment.
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk is launching his first ICO! on: April 04, 2019, 07:46:13 AM
Hello, have you heard about this cool news? Elon Musk will launch his first ICO, the token name should be Project Musk Coin. PMC shouldn´t be backed by anything, only by ideas of its creator. Do you think that this coin will go to the Moon instead of to Mars?
I wouldn’t say much about  his coin until I read their whitepaper and probably check them out if they are IEO based project or ICO, if they can pass these 2 test, I think there is nothing stopping them from reaching the moon if he is really serious and ready to maintain his high reputation.

Elon musk is already a very rich and intelligent guy who understands what technology is all about, and I am sure he will be coming out with an ICO that will have a working product that can create high demand for it, so I am looking forward to the ICO and base my interest on what I see on his ICO and not because of his person.
2069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Evaluation of tokens in new ICOs on: April 04, 2019, 04:46:44 AM
What mostly inspire me to invest in a coin is not just the profit I am thinking about , but if it is going to be a project that will be worth the waiting in case I decide to invest in it for a long time, it must also have a working product that will be very high in demands because that will be only guarantee that the ICO will survive after entering exchange in case some investors decide to dump the coin.

It is when I am satisfied about the idea of the project and I am convinced enough that it is a project that will be of high demand that I look into my pocket to see how much I can afford to invest on the project and at the same time, what I can afford to let go incase of any eventuality.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc hodling or a dash masternode? on: April 03, 2019, 08:05:05 AM
do you think is it better to hodl btc or to change it in dash and run a dash masternode?
I don't think I am going to compare both of them because bitcoin still remains the king, as I have said in my predictions, we are going to see a significant increase in the price of bitcoin this year and it won't be a good thing to miss out from it because we might never see bitcoin in the stage we see it today and might not be able to buy bitcoin at the $4000 range anymore, this is why I advise those that haven't bought bitcoin should buy now.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 02, 2019, 05:42:16 PM
I don't think they have the upper hand in both of those things. I mean City may be trailing by 2 points but don't forget they are one match behind as well, so when they win that they will be ahead. Which means Liverpool has to wait for city to make a mistake, not like it won't happen it could totally happen but at the same time as you can see from this week they could make a mistake too and that could cost them the league.

On the other hand at champions league between Juventus and Barcelona and all that Liverpool has a bit of chance but not as high as others, look at the odds for champions league at sportsbooks right now, Liverpool is 4th behind city/Barcelona/Juventus so is there a chance? Sure even Leicester won the league once but is it a big chance I doubt so.
2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do none of you feel guilty? on: April 02, 2019, 04:02:51 PM
Shilling for casinos, encouraging people to gamble away their savings. SCUMBAGS.
It sound like you just lost huge amount to gambling and you are hurt and you feel the advertisement you watched convinced you to play. But, I like to tell you that those who advertise casino sites don’t force people to play. They even tell people most of the times to play with caution, and I don’t think there is anything wrong here because it’s their business or if they pay you a huge amount of money like $10,000 to campaign for gambling, will you reject it lol ?

I think you should exclude the advertisers out of this and rather look for how people can be taught not to be greedy in gambling because this is what makes them gamble away their savings.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin In 2030 on: April 02, 2019, 03:30:26 PM
It's too far to predict btc position in 2030. But I think there will be many things happen with BTC from now on till 2030. And I think supply will caped if BTC still survives.

It is a huge time period to talk about it. Many people would think that the price is going to be so high that we would never imagine. This could be a scenario. However, on the other side, there is a possibility for cryptocurrencies to be vanished if governments decide that acquiring bitcoin is illegal and every holder should be sued for that.
They cannot successfully do that for something they don’t have control over; the system is so anonymous that it will be very hard to know the owner of a wallet talk less of knowing the owner of a particular coin.

If it was possible, that would have been the easiest to do and when we speak of government, every country have their own government and all government cannot at the same time go against it, some government are benefiting from it while some are not, so conflict of interest will make it impossible to get a united decision against it which will make it impossible to make it vanish.
2074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Too easy to manipulate? on: April 02, 2019, 12:47:50 PM
the answer is too easy. if bitcoin was really "too easy" to manipulate then the price should have never moved the way it has been moving 80% of the history of bitcoin. instead it should have been constant pumps and dumps because that is the real way you manipulate a market and make money. what we have is some manipulation while the market moves logically for the rest of the times and the bigger the market gets the harder it is getting for whales to manipulate it but it has not yet gotten big enough to have no manipulation.
That’s right and if the market continue to improve this way without the input of the whales will really be a good thing for the cryptocurrency.

It might take a little time for us to reach the higher price we want to see but the waiting will be worth it and also benefit all bitcoin holders than whales pump that are very fast and gets dumped quickly which will only make those who were lucky to catch such pump them winners while the ones that were slow to act losers but this normal way of it growing will give chance to both losers, and winners. By this time next year, the market should have fully be green for the next halving too.
2075  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in the Event of a Global Economic Crisis on: April 01, 2019, 07:20:51 PM
Crypto pundits believe it's a replacement for fiat and soon to conquer the world financial system.

You mean / they mean the crypto ?  Well cryptos are not meant for fiat repalcement . same goes to other payment methods  .  cryptos primary built is only to provide an alternative espcially for the people that does not want to exploit their privacy  .
Well, we cannot completely overrule it because its speculation, as they say, out of every rumor lies the truth, some speculated values for bitcoin has come and gone, speculation is just for us to prepare for the known and the unknown and like you mentioned, crypto may not replace fiat because they all depend on each other, one cannot get crypto without changing fiat to it, crypto will just make it easy for us to be able to handle our fiat currency anonymously.

This cryptocurrency will only be still relevant in case of global crisis because it will assist in protecting the identity of those who will still not be affected by this crisis and help them also secure their funds.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 01, 2019, 06:30:24 PM
I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?
It is good to invest in IEO projects, I have tried countless times but failed as a result of the rush and many of the listed tokens that gets sold out within minutes, I learnt cellar network and other listed projects are really profiting investors but once needs to still be extra vigilant before buy the coins, not for security purpose but dumping may also occur even if it is an IEO project.

We have to be careful not to buy at peak that could make dumping occur because several investors too are also in for the profit and once they see one that they are comfortable with, they might end up dumping and I don’t think there is any measure put in place yet to guide against this.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good idea? on: April 01, 2019, 03:58:14 PM
Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  Undecided
Of course, that is a good idea to wait for ethereum price to increase first before you can sell it. If you still have balance in btc, you can move to the other altcoin because there are so many profitable altcoins that can increase at any time. But you need to analyze to find the altcoin. But don't use your ethereum if you still want to wait for the ethereum price increases because it's better to use bitcoin to trade with altcoin.
But it's not a problem if you have more than 10 ethereum so you can use 1-2 ethereum to trade with altcoin and get more ethereum as the profit.
If he is being advised not to move ethereum to other altcoins, what reason does he now have to move Bitcoin to other altcoins when the most promising coins for now with stable future is Bitcoin and Ethereum, he will eventually still regret his action against what we are advising him not to do when that bitcoin he already has grows.

If he has some altcoins that are in his portfolio and looks useless, he can move those ones to other promising altcoins and if he doesn’t have any altcoins to move, he should just get a fresh investment with his fiat and I don’t think he wants to trade, seems he just wants to sell the ethereum to other altcoins permanently which is a very bad idea.
2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto Currrencies failed to solve the Problem?? on: April 01, 2019, 01:41:24 PM
We already have bitcoin that can solve most of the payment methods one big problem and that is the slow arrival of money and high fees. I'm impressed before with those proposals on how they are going to solve problems but it seems to be identical and nothing new with their proposals, that's why didn't invested with any of those.
You have said what is in my mind.Additionally maybe the OP able to ask this because he’s confused realizing the true solution crypto has given to industry by so many fake and scam projects he encounters or we encountered already.  Grin
Crypto is not the major problem here, because when we talk about crypto, we also talk about bitcoin and I don’t think bitcoin has failed in any ramification, the object of crypto currency has stated from the onset is still valid and being used, other projects coming out later thinking they could compete with bitcoin is what is the problem, if we had all stickled to bitcoin and using it for our daily settlement.

We would not have fallen in the hand of scams because bitcoin cannot scam except they use it to either launder money or means of illegal settlement which is still found in the normal traditional market that is making life unbearable for us.
2079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: March 31, 2019, 07:33:13 PM
Day trading is not for all classes of people because it is so risky. Though in day trading, a huge amount of profit we can earn. But in this respect we should need more experience and deep analysis about day trading.
I don't think it's risky compare to long term trading. It's because in day trading, the percentage of profit from your capital is very minimal thus it gives you a decent profit and less risk in loosing too much if the trend of the market suddenly becomes infavorable to you.
It looks risky to a lot of people because they want to make the same profit a long term trader will make within a short period of time and that is why they become so greedy by setting their trade so high so it can take huge profit at once.

Trading is really not risky if one trade with money that one can afford to loose and at the same time take any little profit that one sees, we should always see trading as something we to still take profit pending the time our longer term investment yields result, so we should not be trying to take big profit with little trading investment, if we are careful enough about this and learn to minimize our risk, we will realize that it is not as difficult as they say.
2080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy you apply in recent bullish market? on: March 31, 2019, 06:36:28 PM
It is easy to trade in a bull market, because the price is constantly rising and it is easier to make a profit than during a bearish trend. Now you can choose about ten different coins, invest equal amounts in them and immediately after that place orders with a purchase price of +50% and just wait for the order to work and you will get a profit.
Very good strategy but the trader must still be very careful and work with time when trading in bull market, it is true that one can easily make money because of its constant rise in price but if the point of entry is wrong and entry was when bull ended, it might really be disastrous and lead to almost zero investment.

This is what got some people into predicting some values that are not realistic because they have already made the mistake of buying bitcoin at peak during the previous bull run thinking the coin will continue to run on bull, I learnt that some people even bought when rice was $18,000 and now that it is back to bear market, they are all waiting for bitcoin to get past that value before they can make profit.
