1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 13, 2019, 10:53:59 AM
Last three months of the Year 2019 (4th quarter)is fast approaching! Do you think the market condition will be improve in the last three months of the year! are you still positive that the market will be gaining momentum to return its former status as it was before or just missing all the prediction in this year. drop your insight below!
Yes, I believe that the last quarter of this year will experience some momentum, I am believing this not because I just want to speculate or just talk, because I know that there will be some sort of hype because of some projects that we are going to see released into the market, and one of them would start this month, starting from the bakkt, with the launch of their platform later this month, I am sure that it will set a space and a lane for the momentum of bitcoin, and coupled with some other factors in terms of project that would be release before the end of the year, although majority of the projects are scheduled for next year and I think that is going to be the best year that we will have in the cryptocurrency market, but at least we should be able to grow to like $16,000 before year end.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvesting on Bitcoin after losing on: September 12, 2019, 08:12:33 PM
Did any one of you lose money buying Bitcoin?

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?
I lost money to bitcoin out if my stupidity I guess and that would not warrant me to take my anger upon bitcoin because I didn’t learn before buying bitcoin, if I had learnt and knows the pros and cons off bitcoin investment and also how to manage the risk, I am sure that by now, my money in bitcoin would have been quite much.

When I lost my money in bitcoin, what I did was to seat down and then look at it carefully and see what could have gone wrong, they say that experience is a master teacher, and it was through those sad moment that I picked my mistake and since I have been trading now, I have never lost money because I simply followed those few principle of trading, so the journey has been smooth all along now.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One guy built a Lighting ATM from Scratch ( $80) on: September 12, 2019, 04:26:19 PM
Thread with caution... The ATM has not yet been tested over time for security.

You don't want to expose delicate info to strangers.
There are so many people that has come up with different innovations and has not been exposed for them to be developed, if they are silent about his innovation, there is no way the world would get to know about him, and don’t be surprised that it is going to be through this that he will be picked by great companies who would be interested and even buy his innovation over.

The guy must be a really talented person and I hope he develops it to the fullest, we need such type of people that would even exposed the blockchain technology to the world, things like those also have a way of creating awareness for the blockchain technology, at least, someone would be curios  enough to know the lightning meaning, and from their, the word blockchain will come to them, and which they will also get to know about cryptocurrency, which of course, the first crypto to know by them would be bitcoin.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: September 12, 2019, 04:00:00 PM
Honestly, I can't use those services since my country has decided to ban bitcoin as payment system also if I try to impose to use the service I'll need a huge money to use them since they will charge a shipping cost to send the stuff to my home. Gratefully, for those people who live where bitcoin is legalized by government so they can use it as payment system.

I only use bitcoin to sending money to different countries, yeah I have my little brother who is studying abroad in Turkey so I can send money to him through bitcoin with fast. Before I knew bitcoin I still use WU to send money but it took at least five days and I think it was too long. I think your article will be helpful and it could be use by some companies who haven't use bitcoin as a tool of payment.
Banning bitcoin in your country is not even an issue to me because if you understand the technology of bitcoin currency and its payment, you will find out that you can use bitcoin payment anonymously anytime without even the government knowing and it would never be traced to you, and this is the reason why the government is just using veto power to ban it.

But their words really holds nothing, the only people that can ever be a victim of government ban are those who are supposed to openly declare the use of cryptocurrency for payment, I mean merchants, and those who would walk to a shop to use it to pay, but when it comes to online payment, how would government know, when they are not monitoring you or the site involve. Imagine I want to buy from ebay now and they say they accept cryptocurrency, why won't I pay without government even having a clue?
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: September 12, 2019, 03:19:36 PM
I have seen technologies like this in movies and I have seen how people have even used it against the owner, although the crime rate that would be involved with facial recognition cannot be as high as that of finger print, codes, password and the rest.

Facial recognition may still be risky, but it could actually be the best, because it would be impossible to clone the face, and the highest a criminal can do is to force the person to use it against his will which may not be much common, and you would not tell me that people would cut people's head just to get it done, where would they carry the head to and how would they do that without being notice.

I think facial recognition would really be a nice solution, but they should never make it like the only thing that would be relied on, it should still have another form of verification along with it.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 12, 2019, 02:09:39 PM
It is interesting that you bring this up, it is widely know that many of the books which contain trading systems are created by people that do not trade and that earn their money by selling books about how to trade, if you took the time to backtest their systems you will realize that they lose money on the long term, but those people know that people will not take the time to verify who they are or to tests their systems so they can get away with their scam and no one exposes them for what they are.
And what is wrong in teaching someone from your friends your own profitable trading strategy?
You did not read my response, what I am saying is that many of the books out there about trading are sharing strategies about how to beat the market but those strategies do not really work and are not profitable, now while at first glance it may seem as if there is nothing wrong with teaching your profitable strategy to others, if you have one to begin with, the problem is that most people cannot remain silent about it and eventually more people will use your strategy, and as more people use the same strategy to earn money the less effective it becomes.
I think that it would get to a point in life where you didn’t even need to Pay attention to people's strategies, because I believe that as you study deeply on trading, one would realize that strategies come to one naturally, I usually tell most newbies that wants to trade that they should forget about strategy first, those who develop strategy didn’t learn it because you can’t learn strategy, you only use you experience to come up with strategies which means without experience, you cannot have strategy and the only way experience can also come into play is when one has a very sound knowledge about cryptocurrency.

I like to expose myself more to understanding of trading and the more that I understand some deeper things about trading in crypto, the more strategy comes to me.
1667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 12, 2019, 01:39:27 PM
sometimes small profits are only considered as one of the producers of losses. but i don't think that's right. now if we can be more diligent, I think with small profits if managed properly and can also continue to provide large profits, the most important thing is to be consistent in trading so that it provides profit
But, I think it is the generally being greed that controls most traders and investors that usually make them to ignore those small profits. Bitcoin price between $9000 and $13800 has fluctuated several times, if I buy bitcoin at $9000, and I wait to sell it at $13800, that is a profit of $4800, bitcoin has touched $9000 now and increased back to $10800 over 10 times now, which means if the holder had taken all those small profit, he would have even made more than the long term investors who would take at $13800, so taking small profit is not bad, but it has its own disadvantage of it too anyway, it makes the market not to be stable, imagine that everyone is practicing that, it means the market will be dumping several times, and there would be lots of panic sell.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strength of Bitcoin on: September 12, 2019, 06:28:29 AM
Amazon Microsoft [sorry my brain fades Roll Eyes] already accepted bitcoin once, steam did too, its not really that unbelievable to think they will do it again. I mean yeah surely after bitcoin dropped like crazy they started to think it may not be a great idea and they removed it and they are probably regretting their decision now however when bitcoin becomes even bigger they will have to accept because in the end people may go for the competition that has bitcoin eventually. That is why I think bitcoin will be all around the world one day, even banks will be starting to accept bitcoin deposits and withdrawals like a wallet eventually, that may take decades but it will happen, so will all places like amazon. Bitcoin transactions will be bigger than paypal as well, just needs some more time.
1669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: September 12, 2019, 05:04:37 AM
THIS BAKKT,  I am still trying to see what impact it will really make in bitcoin, because I have been in some situation where I relied in some certain thing that came out then to make impact, but instead of making impact, it either went against the system or it does not make any impact.

I lost the trust on some of this thing when I expected the halving of Litecoin then to have effect on the price of Litecoin, but till date, there has not been any impact.  I have learnt not to be concluding on come certain things having an effect until it does and I see that it was really the effect of it. September is here already for the launch, we can easily know very soon, and could you please remind me of the date that the bakkt promise to launch their project.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MASS ADOPTION OF BTC on: September 11, 2019, 05:17:14 PM
Nobody can say with absolute certainty when this will happen but for as long as btc still exist, mass adoption will definately come, people will most likely use btc to transact, in the main time btc is taking one step at a time to achieve mass adoption, everyday we hear news of different company accepting btc, that's a sign of what will come in future.
I think the only thing that can pave way for mass adoption is when government approves the use of cryptocurrency generally which I know that in doing so, they will be specific on the coin that would really be supported, and when it comes to the most reliable coin that even government would always be in support of, it would be bitcoin.

It is when bitcoin is being pronounced legal that we can see mass adoption, and that is why there is need for the government to really be encouraged about the use of cryptocurrency, but unfortunately, scammers are sending a wring signal to the government, and some of them rather than seeing bitcoin as a proposed global currency, they are seeing it as scam, but I know that their perspective view of it will change one day and they will see the true picture of bitcoin and what it is.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We still don't have any idea about the real Satoshi, stop false info on: September 11, 2019, 03:51:22 PM
There is no point warning person because they will never stop, we will still see lots of mad people that will come up tomorrow to claim that they are satoshi and expect to see more of them often, but the thing is that the people they have come out to deceive are also wise. All the people that has come out so far to claim to be satoshi, how many people here do you really see believe or support that they are satoshi.

The real satoshi would never be interested in showing his face now, because the development level of bitcoin is still quite very low and I know that he will also have planned when he will come to show himself to the public in the future, and it would really be crazy if people are obsessed with him, they need to be obsessed with what he has created and not him.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: September 11, 2019, 12:15:36 PM
To take any decisions my prominent measure is taking a look on Coinmarketcap to understand the Volume, price, trends. This news literally assuring an unsafe practice to rely on Coinmarketcap as we know CMC is a giant. Do we also have any other references like CMC?
CoinMarketCap deserves more credit and commendation but not a tarnish of image. CoinMarketCap has been working so hard to provide cryptocurrency users with lots of update on coins listed on the platform. What CMC needs now is an upgrade in their systems which will provide a fast update on pricing and volumes within the shortest possible time whenever the changes happen on the various exchanges. Anyway, I prefer the exchange prices more than CMC because CMC only gives an average of the prices on the various exchanges of a particular coin.
You think that coinmarketcap is doing us any favor by providing those details? There are other sources of information which you could also easily get from your exchanges, if I am complaining of exchanges faking volume, then why should I rely on coinmarketcap if they are doing the same thing, So, they have no excuse at all not to provide accurate information.

I would rather prefer that they provided accurate information and make me subscribe by paying than to claim you are providing accurate information for me, and then giving me a wrong detail because you probably want to please those who are paying for them to being certain position on the list.  Have you ever asked yourself how CMC is really making their money since users are having it free, and do you think we still have any single soul in this world that would just create a system for it to become free, and still maintain it every day like it is an office?
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding the person who has received 1 billion dollar is likely possible on: September 11, 2019, 09:48:39 AM
What if it is huobi themselves that own the wallet because these exchanges are making lots of profit from their fees, from listing fee to trading fee, to withdrawal fee, they make so much money and you now that huobi is still one of the biggest exchanges that we have in the market today.

Imagine that they are the owner because whoever own that bitcoin cannot be an individual, I know that whales could also be responsible for that because I think I read somewhere about this too, how they moved it, but if they had moved it out of the market, they would have crashed the market seriously and if it was moved into the market, then we ought to have seen some major increase in the value of bitcoin, so I don’t think that BTC belongs to an individual.
1674  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: UK businesses can now accept Bitcoin payments using CoinCorner Checkout on: September 11, 2019, 08:42:22 AM
Good way to go for the United Kingdome citizens, at least they would be able to add this payment option of bitcoin into their ecommerce sites. I have never really know the stand of United Kingdom concerning cryptocurrency, but seem they have supportive market already and reason why this exchange is taking this technology to them first.

Right now, many companies that have ecommerce site will be very encouraged now to start taking the payment solution, which I believe that it would definitely get them more sale, because we are having records of cryptocurrency users on a daily basis which high percentage of them would really love to use bitcoin as a payment of some of the goods and services that they run online.
1675  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: September 11, 2019, 07:57:09 AM
If you think that bitcoins nature is going sideways and negative that means you haven't been involved with bitcoin for too long. Bitcoin was less than 1 dollar when it started, of course it was couple cents but moved to 30 cents very quickly, we all remember the 10k bitcoin pizza deal as well, as you can see people spent like less than 50 bucks to get 10k bitcoins. Then it became bigger, happened to be around 100-250 dollars levels in 2013 or so, than it was over 1400 during 2014 and than it was over 20k during 2017 and now in 2019 it has managed to break above 4k to reach 10k, as you can see bitcoin always goes up, yes we are still not at the heights of 20k once again but that doesn't mean bitcoins nature is negative, it has huge positive potential in it.
1676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: September 11, 2019, 05:37:28 AM
Why is fear the first thing that comes to mind? This cyclical up and down with 10k right down the middle's just almost exactly what should have normally happened a year ago when 10k was first visited for normalisation.

Below the middle is buy in, perfect entry points. Above that is selloff. Perfect exits.
Sometimes, people are just lust in their thinking, you know that human being thinks to wide and some think to the extreme, if right is going to pay such huge amount of money, I don’t know in any way that it has affected bitcoin. There are so many people that has even dumped more than that amount and it still has not effect on bitcoin.

Recently, I heard of about $1 billion dollars being moved from the market, if that one did not effect bitcoin, because if it does, the value would have come down far beyond this, so as I was saying, if that 1 billion dollar didn’t affect bitcoin, then why would this small amount of money to be paid by Craig Wright even have any effect. So this punishment serves hi right and for the rest of his life.
1677  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again on: September 11, 2019, 05:01:02 AM
No, they do have a limited amount of delays in their arsenal left, some of them had their last delay for example which means they will be getting a result no matter what, it could be rejection (most likely) or they could get accepted but it will be the last one. If you read the article you will see that there is usually delays that got limited and not times which means they could delay it as much as they want but with time in between longer than usual instead of times they delay.

Let's say they can delay it only 3 times, they could just make it like 1 year apart from each other to postpone for over 3-4 years span and that would basically make sure ETF will not be hyped about at all, I honestly think one will be accepted eventually tho, not soon but eventually.
1678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now at 9.5K or use emergency cash? on: September 11, 2019, 04:19:53 AM
Look bitcoin might be the greatest invention since sliced bread but if you need money then you need money. Never put too much pressure on your expenses with credit cards and loans and what not. This doesn't feel like a thing you should use your emergency cash for, emergency cash should always be put aside for health related stuff, I always do that, if your car broke down then you can take a bus to work at the very worst option however if your liver brakes down then you don't have an option to pick from and have to do something about it. Hence, emergency should always be for health related stuff.

I would say cash out whatever bitcoin and ethereum you need, whatever crypto you have cash them out, not all of it, just the amount you need for these things (if you need all then cash out all) then when your kids have the stuff they need and your car is brand new or you bought your friends car whatever you can start from zero and start getting more bitcoin afterwards when your economy is stable.
1679  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: September 10, 2019, 02:17:47 PM
I'm waiting bitdouble.io from last week it's still in maintance i check this site everyday is it back to work or not

please someone tell me how much time bitdouble is under maintance

it has been 10 days already , sounds like something bigger than a simple technical malfunction
would be nice if admins come and inform the users about the issue
I don't have pending withdrawals or anything , but I enjoyed coming to chat and betting from time to time
it is a cool site and would be terrible to see it disappear
Even if the website is not closed right now, it means it will be closed very soon. How many casinos can actually return from "sorry we have been inactive for weeks now" to "we are back and getting great numbers again" all of a sudden?

If they are gone than that means they have been gone for a while already, if they are not gone than it means there is still a chance they will comeback, maybe pay people their money but than nobody will want to play here because of what happened and the casino will be closed anyway, so they have to choice but a result with closed casino in the end no matter what happened right now.

Knowing that (I mean I know this, so the owner must know this anyway) they might not even comeback anymore because they will lose all their profits so why not keep peoples money.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 08, 2019, 07:31:50 AM
It is indeed gambling but compared to gambling, time is your enemy, you have no idea when are the coins that you are hodling will reach their all-time high, and every day you have to follow the market and how your portfolios react, one thing that you need to study or to plan is when is the right to sell your coin.
It’s completely different, the only thing that would make it a bit looking similar is the fact they both involve risk but aside that, they are not the same at all.

Gambling is purely a game of luck and full of uncertainty while crypto holding is just a mini risky investment and anything investment is and will always be safer compared to gambling. The only reason some people compare gambling and crypto holding is because they are both unpredictable but still we all know that money I kept in bitcoin will never get exhausted no matter how down the market might go, it could go down and the next minute bull run but in gambling, once the money is gone, it can never be recovered.
