1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum update on: September 20, 2019, 04:01:18 PM
I heard Ethereum will be updated to Ethereum 2 in early 2020.
I would appreciate you if you answer my questions.
1. Will there be a fork like we had for bitcoin cash? Or we will have to deposit our Ethereums to an address to get ETH2 in a new address? Or our Ethereum will be updated automatically?
2. What do you think about regulations? Is it possible that we will be forced to pass KYC to get ETH2?

KYC for the user is okay but to my opinion i don't think it should forced.

what is the reason if KYC for users is okay mate ? i believe no KYC to get ETH 2.0
because its far away from the main purpose why cryptocurrency was created buddy
Frankly speaking, I would not even be happy if Ethereum does not introduce kyc in their Ethereum 2.0 because this same decentralization is what Ethereum has been banking on that is making them have lots of scammer that are raising bad projects through their platform, so to me, enough of all these third party coins anonymity, let bitcoin be the only anonymous coin that we have.

There is need for Ethereum to introduce KYC so that all these scammers and bad developers can easily be traced when regulation comes in, I am quite sure that in future, Ethereum will have no choice because government is going to impose it on them, if we want them to regulate the cryptocurrency sector to clean it of every bad people that is destroying its reputation on daily basis.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Metals Desk Was a Criminal Enterprise says U.S. on: September 20, 2019, 02:48:06 PM
Why would he not be anti-bitcoin, when it is glaring that everything he has been doing is a scam which bitcoin will surely block when people start using bitcoin and also, he wants to get famous by being an anti bitcoin so that he can shill his own project that he will use to defraud people.

JP Morgan has always been a criminal which I have always known through his actions, and I really believe that the believe of people in bitcoin is really making things quite difficult for him in his illegal business deals, which is why is actually fighting against the bitcoin and it is a good thing that he has been exposed, all those fame he built by castigating bitcoin will really be a thing of the past now as people would not more pay attention to him.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump’s Plan to Ban the Petro Could affect all Cryptocurrencies on: September 20, 2019, 07:55:05 AM
This is their plan to ban a certain company on creating their own coin, America has really gone far.
Bitcoin is not in danger with this bill rather it only makes bitcoin prone again to use by those people who have bad motives.
Cryptocurrencies like Cardano, Trone, and Xrp are in danger with this bill they may lose a large amount of investment when american investors are no longer allowed to invest on their coins.
It is not about even banning a company from creating coin because they actually have the right to do so if they find out that the company will end up defrauding people, so they would not have gone too far if it was just an ordinary company they are banning with the evidence that they are not clean, but this Petro coin is what Venezuelan government intends using to save their dying economy.

I still don’t know the link between it and the government that would ever make America wants to ban it since the president of the country feels that it is what will help their country to have a better economy and also solve the problem that has currently befall them, and I think this is where US is really messing up for a project that has to do with country’s choice.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: September 19, 2019, 08:04:50 PM
Sorry to hear that, you should pray about it. as your brother did dice which is gambling. he gambled it. write down what you can do to earn high income skills or learn from successful people. Take care!
That is what the op needs to realize that his brother is a gambler and that is what they need to talk him out of, he must have been gambling far even before bitcoin gambling was introduced, he only saw an opportunity of what people has been saying about bitcoin and felt he could also try his luck, that is how we humans are.

If his brother had won so much big money now through the bitcoin gambling, he would have been praising bitcoin for saving their family. His brother was just not a lucky person and he needs to learn to work hard more and stop looking for easy and free money, and op needs to take time to understand what bitcoin is all about and if used in the right way, how they can make a living out of it.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 19, 2019, 07:02:03 PM
Adreline rush means the reaction of our body into something so he's relating the reaction to gambling.

Read more about adreline rush: What happens when you get an adrenaline rush?

Yes, gambling is a choice and we can gamble to have fun or for some other reasons, you name it. There are wealthy people that gamble for fun because they don't care about the money anymore, they look for something to spend it and luckily, they choose to gamble.
I don't think dropping the definition was necessary. Do you really think he does not know the meaning of Adrenaline, maybe you should perceive sarcasm on the comment, and Back to the post, gambling could be for fun and also for entertainment I do both.

I think it depends on the mood Per time. There are times I just want to gamble for the fun, no kind of intention to make money and there are also times I do it for money so it's really not a big deal. Whatever reason for playing, I would only advise that for whatever reason it is, we must be careful not to get addicted to avoid regrets. Addiction could happen to anyone regardless why we play. This is the reason so many people talk I'll of gambling because they lack the understanding
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright really is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 19, 2019, 06:21:20 PM
It seems Craig Wright, Dave Kleiman and a few others collectively make up Satoshi Nakamoto. Otherwise, what explains this:  https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/aug/28/australian-who-says-he-invented-bitcoin-ordered-to-hand-over-up-to-5bn
Not again, I thought that we have gotten over this issue of CraigWright being satoshi and someone who just needs to seek an asylum because how can he be satoshi and can prove nothing about the ownership of the coin, and not that the court had orders him to pay such amount of bitcoin holding, how does he intend to do that?

I don't know why some human being are just like that, you met a system that is already existing and juts because there I issue of anonymity, he wants to make advantage of it to claim the ownership. Since he claims he is satoshi, I think it is good the way court is dealing with him, let him bring the hidden coin out then and share with his partner.
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: September 19, 2019, 05:50:06 PM
The use of Bitcoin is increasing everywhere. Bitcoin is the big transaction in a moment. Many companies are now abandoning banking services and accepting bitcoin services. Due to the convenience of fast transactions.
We like to assume too much, is there any research that you have done that really shows that investors have abandoned bank services? It would be impossible for now for investors to really abandoned bank services for whatever purpose that they need the bank for because they still dealt with fiat, and it is you and I that have not encouraged the total acceptance of bitcoin as payment of goods and services.

The market is more used for asset purpose and this is creating lots of volatility, as long as the volatility is there for w, it may be difficult for them to really do without bank and the only thing that can make volatility reduce too minimum is when we start using it as payment tool, then it will be more recognized as currency than asset.
1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 18, 2019, 12:34:19 PM
I also tried all of them, and my computer was infected with each of these Antivirus programs installed. To protect yourself from Trojans and hackers, you should use a complex password (really complex!) and two-factor authentication during registration. A good antivirus will not hurt, but this stuff will not protect you for 100%. Therefore, you should not keep all the savings on the exchange - it is not safe.

2FA won't help you if your malware-infected computer sees the TOTP key when you first activate 2FA on your cryptocurrency exchange account, same with complex passwords. Minimize your attack surface and think before you click something, too.
I do not understand how the virus can broke 2-factor protection if it is constantly changing very fast.
These hackers are scammer and they can make anything possible, and I believe that what he is trying to say is that if the malware had already been installed on your phone or pc before you activated your 2fa factor, the malware may be monitoring your transaction to always see any code that you are generating, is it not through this that binance was hacked too.

So, the fact we use 2 factor authenticator still does not mean that the account cannot be hijacked, and some of these antiviruses that we even use sometimes cannot be trustworthy as some of them are viruses itself, because they are meant to work underground, and you know that in the process of activating them, we usually give them access to every details about our operation of the system, so I would not be surprised if they have the privilege to access our Google authenticator factor.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: September 18, 2019, 08:41:51 AM
Bitcoin is raising a lot of additional opportunities for freelancers. There are a lot of websites that pay you in Btc to perform different tasks.

As a freelancer, to be paid in Btc all you need is a laptop with internet access and a btc wallet. That's all. You can do money from any side of the world.
Those freelance sites are just becoming rampant now as bitcoin is getting more popular and this is one of the problem that we use to have before, receiving payment form some of these sites, but with bitcoin now, I think it is a lot easier and the good thing about receiving those payments in bitcoin is that we could use it as an investment also, you earn it and then leave it in the bitcoin wallet till bitcoin reaches its all-time high, so it is more like getting double profit, you get profit from the freelance job and at the same time also, you get profit from the increase of bitcoin when it goes on bull run.

I also learn that some sites do pay in altcoins, but I don’t like the freelance jobs for altcoin because there is not assurance that anything will come out of it.
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: September 18, 2019, 07:48:33 AM
some people do try to cheat to get a lot of prizes. because of this, some companies require to use KYC for every participant who wants to participate. it is very useful to avoid people who want to advertise a project with multiple accounts for their interests. now almost every project requires to verify KYC so that they avoid these accusations.
Not like I am supporting those who are using multiple account, but that s not the major thing that is killing the crypto currency now or making projects to die, those who are using multiple accounts only comes in when the project is beginning to make money, and it is only when they make money that they pay them, and this stops as soon as they are through with the campaign, and the moment they are through with the campaign, they stop the payment except some few projects that still hire some when they become fully operational.

The real things that kills most project are even investors reward and whales, whales are the real cheater here, they buy these coin in large quantity during ICO and then dump when the project enters exchange, and that is the main problem that I need these projects to really tackle first for them to become solid.
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins bleeding on: September 17, 2019, 05:52:14 PM
in terms of price, I don't think altcoin will have a blank price or disappear if the team is still developing the project, it's just that low prices are inevitable. many people panic when the price of altcoin decreases because most likely there are more people holding altcoin than bitcoin today. this is because the price of altcoin is low, and can be used quite easily. it's just that, the price reduction is very sharp, making many people panic. Even though the price of altcoin has dropped quite low a few days this month, I'm still confident in its recovery price.
Most of the people that are holding altcoins to bitcoin today are deeply regretting it and I don't doubt what you said, because the time that many of us saw the potential of altcoins and how they can increase to even 1000x has still not cleared from our mind and we believe that alto in can do that again, but we are making a mistake that when altcoin was still booming was when we still have every reliable projects and investors still has so much trust in ICO, but now, the trust is gone which is why you see altcoins bleeding seriously because most investor are selling their altcoins now for bitcoin having realized that it is the only coin that is still lost reliable for now, and maybe in future, something could happen for good in the life of alts.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you interested in IEO? How about your opinion? on: September 17, 2019, 04:45:12 PM
yes of course I still really like to participate in IEO because I feel that by participating in the IEO program I can get a lot of bonuses and lots of benefits, I only participate in some IEOs that I have chosen because at this time there are many IEO that are not good in some markets.
When it comes to IEO from most of these top exchanges, I don't think that I have seen much of very bad IEO because most of those big exchanges make sure that because of their reputation, they get to register projects that they can account for at any time because of a project fails now, the investors of those projects will hold the exchange accountable for the loss but they believed in the project based on their own recommendations, although when it comes to investing in these projects, we have to also make sure that the project is being researched on thoroughly to avoid being scam.

Where you will get most of these bad IEO is on these exchanges that do not do their own due diligent before getting the project, so if we are to put money into any IEO project, we should make sure that it is from top exchanges.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bullrun on next BTC ATH? on: September 17, 2019, 04:10:48 PM
Well, this is what we know also, altcoins tends to start declining when bitcoin is rising, except the other top altcoins in the market, but for now, based on the present rise of bitcoin, altcoins that are top including ethereum are rising along with the bull run, but I am not saying there is no possibility in what you are saying that when the main bull run comes, ethereum may start to decline further.

And the reason I believe is that most people would want to sell their altcoins to quickly grab the opportunity in bitcoin as it is moving fast to meet the new all times high but I am not sure that this will be the case this time around because I have studied that things are taking shape in different dimension this period, which I think that when bitcoin is heading for new ath, it is likely that ethereum follows it also.
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why exchanges most interested to launch IEO? on: September 16, 2019, 08:52:33 PM
IEOs are new, it's raising money ICOs failed to raise. Other exchanges emulated binance success with IEOs experiment it's the new trend of making money for both investors and exchanges.

IEOs have become very popular and I have to say a good number of them have been successful. But there are the failed ones as well. However, it is more preferable than the scammy looking previous ICO version of raising money
Most of those failed IEO are caused by some of these small exchanges that really don’t know how to handle it or some of the exchanges that are meant to just scam also, many of them heard IEO and they taught scammers will respect them and not approach them, so they don’t do much of their due diligent and then still allow bad projects to scale through, if we were not operating in a cryptocurrency industry, I am sure that by now, there would have been a body that is regulating the IEO and ensuring that whoever is going to get involved with IEO will be approved to do so first.

Small exchanges rushed too quickly into joining binance, they would have really allowed binance to handle it alone first and attract investors more, but they are already doing the same as ICO because learnt that we are still having very bad IEO in the market.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX ever reach ATH on: September 16, 2019, 08:15:54 PM
Tron is one of the great projects that we have in the market for now, and I believe that they can even reach more than the last ATH here because they have a real working project and the development of TRON now Is nothing compared to the development that they have had in the past.

The CEO might have some crazy stuff that makes him look like he is a crook, but Justin is still trying far more than some projects that we have in the market and I think that the rate at which he is growing, he is heading towards path of success. One more reason why I feel TRON project would be better in future is also because their technology is one that is not too common now, not like many projects that we have that are copycat of already existing projects in the market.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Cash Mount A Real challenge To Ripple and Ethereum on: September 16, 2019, 06:03:48 PM
I saw this article about the vision of the team to make BCH number 2 or 3 according by market cap. How possible is it to beat ETH and XRP? https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/bitcoin-cash-gears-up-for-dominance-after-bitcoin/`
FOR ETHEREUM, it is impossible and it is a no go area but for ripple, absolutely possible but they can’t, except maybe they are willing to pay hire and those who are listing them as top 3 knows exactly what I am talking about because I would never believe that ripple Is maintaining that position through organic push, anyway, that is story for the gods and story for another day, but Bitcoin cash can easily push ripple aside because I think they are still more being used than the way people use ripple.

Ripple  is slowly dying down as they no longer have much demand on their coin because I see nothing that ripple is useful for, but people are still placing lots of demand on bch and they will likely beat ripple in the long run.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 16, 2019, 03:33:06 PM
From my perspective the main contribution they're bringing into the industry, is the adoption of the currency. For starters every crypto-related sportbook have the option to gamble or cashout in cryptocurrency (mostly bitcoin) which give the customers a sense of satisfaction as they can play bets with their coins, giving their coin useable value and not just monetary value of exchanging for fiat.

Seconding, they're also contributing in regards to promoting of the industry to the masses through their numerous stretagic campaigns aimed at bringing in more customers to their platform and also educating individuals (mostly those customers) on the important and necessary information needed on safety and benefits.
Are all this benefits you listed below in favor of gambling sites or cryptocurrency? Because, I it looks to me like this is even more of advantage to gambling site.

I don’t think this reasons are really justifiable to me. Crypto gambling sites to me has not added a thing to cryptocurrency and I would expatiate on that. There has been a great adoption of cryptocurrency even before the invention of online gambling sites.

As a matter of fact, a lot of gamblers using crypto to gamble now, do it because of the trust they have for cryptocurrency, which means cryptocurrency is even more beneficial to online gambling. Again, I think online gambling, mostly cryptocurrency gambling sites should be grateful to cryptocurrency for making it so much famous than it would have been.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: September 16, 2019, 10:56:41 AM
Have anyone profited out of dice in the short or long term. I have been trying the best and lost all, I can't leave it. Once after I loss I have gone beyond my ability. Finally as the wallet got emptied, I bought bitcoin particularly for betting and lost even the amount earned from my day job. I used to experience win, but at the end it is a loss. I miss the right time to stop and leave. Cry Cry Cry

You probably need to take a break. People definitely profit from dice but it's not regular profits. Huge wins happen randomly or once in a while especially for luck-based gamblings. You just got lucky with your former wins, I guess.
I am sorry to ask this mate, no offense, is there anything that made it mandatory for you to gamble, how can you loses your BTC and still be having a second thought of gambling, this is nothing but addiction to me, maybe you should first of all find a way to break out of addiction because this has got nothing to do with love for gambling.

I was never lucky with my games, it continued for so long and I noticed taking a break was really necessary, did this and I later came back better. I was amazed at the first game I won after my return and it was as though the break time did a lot of amendment, and maybe you should also try and give it a trial and you will be glad you did.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 16, 2019, 09:46:27 AM
There is no point disclosing your gambling identity in the first place, irrespective of the nature  of the job, we all understand that gamblers are always seen as kids-like sets of people and once you find yourself in a career job where so much is expected of you, common sense demands that you keep your gambling status, thank God for online and crypto gambling. It has really made it much easier.

I am not into any of such demanding jobs but I don’t disclose my gambling identity. This is even to my family members because I know how they would see me if they are aware that I am into gambling.
My family could vouch for me that I have no business with gambling also. I just hate to give explanations and considering what people tend to think of the game and the participants. Last month I hit jackpot, the win was huge and my spending habits changed, everyone around me wanted to know where I got the money, I was almost tempted to say it out but considering what they would say or how I might be seen I just kept mute and gave them other sources.

It’s quite unfair that gamblers aren’t treated with respect n our communities and the reason behind this is far-fetched. Left for me, everyone cannot be the same, let some work in corporate offices and let others be gamblers but everyone deserves to be treated rightly.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: September 16, 2019, 05:37:16 AM
I think many investors are applying the golden rule you mentioned ''never  buy when  price are going up''. Investing when the price is down is quite okay cos there's every tendency it will skyrocket back. Although it depends on the steady flow of the market
Do you still think that all those golden rules still works, personally I don't think so because sometime if you follow that rule, you will be delayed in making son decisions in making investment at the right time, there are some case where I have waited for bitcoin price to ho down to buy but they I see it climbing up drastically.

This was one of the mistake that I made when bitcoin was around $7000, when it got to their prices, I thought maybe it will drop down to $5000 and that was when it started shooting up without dropping till it got to 10000. So sometime so feel that golden rule is just a way of delaying someone's time. Now that bitcoin is at this price, there are so many people that would be thinking that it will drop again, hut before you wake up tomorrow, you might see it surging high.
