1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Billionaires Discussing Bitcoin on: September 02, 2019, 01:39:24 PM
You forgot to include Mark Cuban who has been one of the loudest pro bitcoin billionaires for years now.
Mark Cuban is owner of Dallas Mavericks and recently this team announced that it will be accepting crypto as payment options for game tickets so this should be added , it is significant!
Heard about that guy and he really deserve to be on the list. Well, those billionaires are slowly realizing the growth of bitcoin though some of them are still not sure whethet to support or not but in the future they will make their own way to support bitcoin. We have more things to do before the mass adoption, the price and the technology itself, more time for that.
Contribution of that billionaire to the cryptocurrency technology is not only ties to the financial support alone, but their intellectual support also. I think bill gate too does not really understand the concept of bitcoin technology, because if he does, he would not be looking at it from then angle of assets alone, but he would have also extended his view of it to the currency part of it.

If he had done so, being a high-tech guru, he would have as well thought of the ways of using his expertise to also see how the technology can become better before the adoption. I believe that bitcoin technology is still opened to development and addition, and we need people who are intelligent in the blockchain industry to really make their own input for the system to be better accepted.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: its time bounty hunters should start taking actions on: September 02, 2019, 08:39:58 AM
We should better research projects and if we took part in a scam, it is only our fault. You cannot just enter every bounty campaign and hope that you can get up to 1k USD from each one. Be patient and everything will be great with hunting.
You know people still come to market with the mindset of 2017 when they use to be ought, I could remember then that there were some project that I participated in before that 2017 that even paid me as high as $2599, but not now again, most projects are even quite very stingy now that they allocate very little amount for hunters, not to talk of those that would even use hunters without paying them.

I think one of the reason again is that we have too many people that has been exposed to the hunting idea from different parts of the world and they all want to join also, so you see many people without researching rushing to join campaign and then promoting rubbish projects to the public without ever checking what the project is if it’s reliable or not.
1723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges on: September 01, 2019, 07:53:37 PM
For those who are so concerned about KYC, because I am not, it would be very useful to them, but know this that some months back, this list you made could make a whole book in that past, Which means that it was gradually that most of the ones requesting for KYC now started requesting it, and they all left the list?

With time, all these list you made will disappear as there would be no more project without requesting for KYC, that is when bitcoin and cryptocurrency market is being regulated because for government to really take control of the cryptocurrency and then approve it, they have to deal with KYC and this is why many projects and exchanges that were not requesting for KYC in the past also started requesting for them desperately.
1724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 01, 2019, 07:32:47 PM
Every strategy that you learn is not a waste of time because they all have their own area where they fit into, and if you are able to learn all the available strategy, if strategy A does not work here, then strategy B will work there.

The most important thing right now that you really need for you to become that successful trader is for you to accumulate enough of knowledge about trading cryptocurrency because it is really not easy, and never you rush into trading without first ensuring that you have made enough practices first so that you didn't end of losing and not know what the cause of it is. As you have also mentioned too if you should go for those learning, I would say that you should go for it really. It would really pay you in the long run when you start to make the full trading.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these guys claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto ! on: September 01, 2019, 07:12:52 PM
I wonder why they did not claim the name before when the Bitcoin price is just $0,01? Now that Bitcoin became  famous in which most of the nations accepted it then these people just appeared?I believe that they are claiming the name so that they could used much of the reputation credit for their own business agenda.
If government had declared satoshi wanted now, I am sure majority of them would start withdrawing their statement because they would not want to go to jail. It is just abnormal to have people just wake up from their bed one morning and then think to themselves to claim to be someone else. Is that not the beginning of madness/ and if they are to trace their blood stream very well, I am sure they will surely find some traces of alcohol in their body stream because that is the only way that they can be talking abnormally.

They are just doing those things anyway for popularity, and they have gotten one. Some has already come with disgrace and shame because I wonder how those people will face the world boldly when the real satoshi is proven. I am sure that we will still have a satoshi from Africa soon.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank account froze after selling btc (UK) on: September 01, 2019, 06:08:58 PM
Moving 400usd can freeze your account? >.< How do you buy anything?
Most banks should just move your status up to the next one if you have larger movements. They also offer you a discount on fees.
This is part on the bondage that we are talking abut that government and banks places on their citizens for their own money, I mean money they worked for, so to move just $400 becomes a problem to some citizens in their country, what a world. I would not doubt him actually because he lives in the country and he knows how they run things in their own country.

I have limit to which I can also have access to at once in my country, but mine is still running to at least $10,000, and anything above  $10,000 gotten at once will be flagged down. For this reason is why many of us needs to really wake up and embrace the technology that bitcoin as brought which will free us from being a slave of our own money for life. I know we have people that do abuse opportunity, but with regulations, all those can be dealt with.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Anyone help me Regarding Bitcoin True Investment? on: September 01, 2019, 05:38:25 PM
If you want to be an investor in bitcoin, it is very easy to do. All you have to do is have money to buy bitcoin in any exchanges, but I suggest that you should buy from a local seller in your city, so you don't get scam. Assume that you already have bitcoin, just save it in your wallet, don't use it for anything, when the bitcoin price can increase so high, then it means you can sell your bitcoin in that time. But if the price does not increase, then you should patient, wait for some time because bitcoin price will rise higher. That is a very basic way to be the investor Grin
You know sometimes, many newbies do confuse cryptocurrency generally with bitcoin, so when they mean to say cryptocurrency, they make the name bitcoin because they still can’t distinguish between the two, and this is the mistake many new investors do make.

They here about the system and though they make fast money, but they fail to first make research on them. If every investor before even thinking of investing takes 1 to 2 days to first of all Google the internet and search fully well what the bitcoin is all about, I am sure they would have been able to understand that bitcoin is a coin under cryptocurrency whole we also have so many other coins.

I think the op in this case wants to know coins that are cheap and are of good quality investment, which bitcoin remain one of it and we have some top 50 coins too that are great.
1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coindesk & Cointelegraph give Fake News on: September 01, 2019, 04:37:12 PM
Unfortunately, these two resources are teeming with fake news, so I try not to read them
If I were you, I would not completely stay away from them , because sometimes, out of every news they carry which we could call rumor, there might be element of truth in it, and I would not want to believe that the only news they carry often more are negative news, I think that they also do carry some news that are real.

So instead of staying away from them, I will basically just verify every news that I hear or see on their site. Most social media are not reliable when it comes to news, because if we are to abstain from fake news, then we will be abstaining from thousands of news media that we have. The most important aspect of any news that we see or hear is just to verify them before we act on them , and not only news but people’s opinion generally.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is official a fraud on: September 01, 2019, 10:20:55 AM
BSV's REAL volume is around 1m USD per day. The CMC volume is highly misleading. BSV is 500-1000x smaller than BTC. I know of a guy who just bought "a modest sum" and he told publicly how that was able to swing the price by already 5,-. BSV is highly inflated. I know of Orderbooks that have 1/4 of a page in buy orders for BSV and 10+ pages of sell orders. BSV is really really small and there are very few buyers actually.
It will only take investors that are completely blind to see this, I have known this a long time, which is why I have never really paid attention that much to bsv, and Craig also know that they were using fake volume, so what he is been doing is to do everything possible to divert traffic to the project with all his propaganda about bitcoin, and all his lies about being satoshi, thinking he could use that as an avenue to gain massive increase on bsv, but unfortunately, every of his plan keep backfiring.

How they are able to sill retain the top in the market is what I don’t know and sometimes it make some doubt coinmarket data, because this is the same way the ripple also operates and has been retaining that position for a long time now without seeing people using it.
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: August 31, 2019, 07:37:09 AM
I Notice that most projects that conducted bounty finds it difficult to enter the crypto market especially a quality market. i think most are afraid of been dump.
what are the possible reasons why tokens takes too much time before getting listed on exchange.

Dumping is a common scenario but the most probable reason is the status performance of the current market in which it is really unwise to unlock the coins in an unhealtly environment. As during bearish that even how beautiful is the project plarform is still mostly are preferred to sell than to invest in long term making the Altcoin price to become cheap.
I  do disagree with people when they use dumping as an excuse for these projects not to enter the market, it means they are all cowards, what do they except? You presented a project to them based on the store of value of I and not from the usability angle, and when it comes to store of value, it is not tied to a particular time frame, anyone has the right to tie the exact time he feels his investment has yielded profit enough for him to take out and can do so at any time.

If a project is solid, no matter the dumping, it would always bounce back every time it is being used for the purpose for which it was created, but that purpose is what this project does not fully follow up to ensure that most of the community that they have are the ones that will always use the product more rather than holding.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 31, 2019, 06:44:04 AM
I would not have made such categorical conclusions. The popularity of ICOs may still resume after moderate regulation of this type of activity by states. Here, first of all, it is necessary to drastically reduce the number of fraudulent projects and states may well solve this problem, which is overripe for ICO.
Now is not the time for bounty hunters, since earned tokens are now hundreds, and sometimes thousands of times cheaper than before. If we assume that at least some of them will still increase in price, then even now it may still be profitable to participate in ICO bounty campaigns.
If it is not for scammers that has now taken over the ICO market, I am sure that people would not have been so worried about the coin or hunting, but these coins that we participate in now are hard to tell if it is for a scammer or a real developer no matter the method you use to verify them, they will always come out genuine until after the money has been raised and probably they launch on exchange before you see them professionally exiting the market.

Like you mentioned earlier, there is really need for government regulations like in the days of IPO, but we still have our own little problem also, we are not helping this issue of regulation with the way that we keep on resting the KYC that is needed for us to really get the system regulated, I understand it is meant to be a decentralized system, but we cannot have our cake and eat it all.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: August 30, 2019, 05:28:04 PM
I am not sure with the three coins the price will be high at the end of the year, I believe more in the ETH for now, I believe at the end of the year or early next year the price of the ETH will soar.
for long-term investment I still believe in ETH. that in my opinion.
All those coins are just some sort of shitcoins that should never be much invested in, but for the benefit of doubt, one can just find some change that one does not have any need for to invest In them and just forget about them, and maybe in future when they have a goal and purpose, they will grow and increase in value, but for now, I think that Ethereum should be one of the major coin that our attention needs to be on.

Ethereum coin might be looking like it is down now, but with the releases of their Ethereum 2.0, I am sure that they will be revived again, and that would be released next year 2020, so when you see Ethereum and those other top altcoins, we really need to be prepare for them for the future, especially anytime from that  2020.
1733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Declining? And What’s Next? on: August 30, 2019, 04:07:12 PM
Bitcoin so far was declined again, probably there are some whaler put a huge amount to sell their Bitcoin where it leads the price went down so much. However, it is a good timing for us to buy em again then hold in a long term for us to gain in the future when price goes up again in the market as well.
I did not think the decline was as a result of whales because if they were the ones, why would they wait for this long then to dump it now, because the price already crossed over $10000 some days ago and that dumping occurred two days ago, so I see no logical reason why they chose that day to dump.

I think there is actually something else that would have caused panic, and once it is clear, people will surely return the money back to the market, while those that didn’t have money would have seen it as an opportunity to buy, even those that even have money like I did. I bought some also at that cheaper price and I am waiting for a rebound so that I can take that little profit to cater for my little needs. At least, while waiting for the other big investment to grow, we can still be shorting.
1734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade strategy / top three pointers for newbire!! on: August 30, 2019, 03:21:30 PM
I think one of the options that possible beginners can do. The only "stable option" in the Crypto space is probably stable. However it is not a good idea to convert your Cryptocurrency or token to stablecoin and leave it in a centralized exchange. Convert and send to the address that you fully control.
I just thought and I'm also a beginner it would be nice if you try that option because trying it doesn't hurt ...
That option is good, but depends on how often you trade, you have to consider the cost of having to send your money across exchanges because of the fees that they charge, even binance that has the lowest fee will cost you a lot if you do that like 5 times in a day, and this is one of the reason why many keep their trade balance into stable coin because of fees and because of the volatility of the market.

Stable coin is meant to keep the status of your coin in value active while if you keep your trade money into the wallet back could make volatility affect it when the price declines, just like bitcoin price decline now, it would never affect the ones that has been transferred to stable coin because the dollar equivalent will still be retain an I think that is why stable coins are very important to us.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming Financially Free With Bitcoin on: August 30, 2019, 02:50:04 PM
It's a good plan but not easy to achieve. Now you have constant income in Bitcoin but for how long this might last. Many have tried but omly few succeeded to get really financially free with Bitcoin.
For that you need to earn a very good profit and store ir or invest further successfully because Bitcoin income/earning from investment will not last indefinetely.
I think that the reason why many of us are not getting it right is because we are forcing bitcoin to be what it is not, I mean forcing it be used as just store of value alone, meanwhile bitcoin is much more than just store of value but to be used as currency and  as alternative to fiat for payment. I am sure that if we had all embraced bitcoin form this point, then the story would have been entirely different from what is being told of us now.

Many of us are just here because we really want to see bitcoin grow in value, but little are we contributing to it, contributing to bitcoin is not just buying and keeping the money in the wallet, but many of us run online stores, while some of us have physical stores, how have we encouraged the use of bitcoin, by accepting it too as means of payment and then displaying the logo in our store.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss Crypto Banks Receive Licenses From Financial Regulator on: August 30, 2019, 01:01:14 PM
Crypto Banks? Did I miss something? Were these not completely different concepts before?
I don’t know of the one that you are exposed to, but I have heard of these crypto banks too of late and I think that they are quite growing in number, although I still don’t know how their function will be like and if we have to store our crypto with them, I believe that with time we will fully know how they actually do function.

I think in one hand, it is a very good news, because it shows that government are beginning to get more interested in cryptocurrency, because for this Swiss bank to have been approved by financial regulators, then it has gotten the highest approval from government, but on the other hand, I think we are beginning to turn the system to a centralized one and not decentralized as satoshi really made the cryptocurrency idea to be.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to 100% Secure Bitcoin from Thieves / Hackers / Government??? on: August 30, 2019, 08:38:31 AM
I think that you are still good with your forms of securing your account, but that number 2 is what I personally would not do, because it is not everyone that can be as careful as you, and storing your words in multiple places will surely expose you to the risk of being hacked easily because no matter what, those keys will be there for the next 10 years, and within that space of time, you would have done so many things that may even make you forget one or two places where you have kept the words.

My best bet for anything wallet, is just for you to write it out and then store it in your back, then you probably create just an email that you will never share with anyone or any site for people to know it exist, then you keep the words in there, I think two places is much more than enough.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 30, 2019, 08:08:19 AM
What would you have had them done, they should refund your money because they are binance with safu fund? My dear, it is true that they are saying, there are so many hackers right now that would gain access to your account at any time if you are careless with your passwords or careless with the website that you go to.

I am also sorry to have heard your story, and thank God they dint steal more than that, there should be some sort of way that you can really trace it and I am not sure that is their  problem, if it was network bridge, I am sure that they would have been able to sort it out for you, and which may have also affected thousands of their users also, and you would surely have seen so many complains. I think you have to look for a more reliable way to secure your coin then if you no longer trust blockchain.
1739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC the next exchange to become insolvent customers not able to withdraw fund on: August 29, 2019, 06:38:01 PM
I really do not like the exchange and I'm sure it's not just me. I signed up on the exchange and activated 2FA. Even with that I still get email notifications that my account has been logged into. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually the exit scam. Their security is poor so they are even bery likely to be hacked also.
We really have to be cautious of the exchange that we pick interest in, although this exchange started well, but I don’t know the reason for the problem they are having, this is also a big exchange and I would not be sure if they lack the profit to run the exchange smoothly r they lack expertise hands.

I stopped using them also when I discovered some of those lapses in them, and I am sure that before it go to the stage of op, they must have been showing some signs that he just did not pay much attention to, if he had paid attention to them, then he would have moved over to some other better exchanges like kucoin, coinbase, binance and maybe Bittrex, those have served their clients well ever since they were created and I am sure that they will not fail now.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: What is behind the past few days of rally? on: August 29, 2019, 05:34:28 PM
There are rallies and bears going around all the time, you have this insane idea that bitcoin price has to keep going up, some people think like that, like bitcoin owes them some increase, it doesn't. Bitcoin could go from 10 thousand to 5 thousand to 20 thousand all the time and there is nothing we can do to stop it from doing it. Hence sometimes there are rallies and sometimes there are not and that is how the nature of bitcoin shapes up.

There is no need for a reason to rally honestly, bitcoin can do whatever the hell it wants and we would just watch it and be incapable of stopping it. If it wants to rally it will, no news no person no logic will stop it from rallying if people just get hyped and start buying all at once. That is why stop fighting it and just go along with it.
I understand every of your point, but you still have to remember that there is no bitcoin without you, bitcoin is not human to act on its own, whatever price action you see in bitcoin is as a result of our activities, if none of us out money in bitcoin, or use bitcoin for anything, bitcoin will never have seen the light of the day, and remember, aside the fact that Bitcoin’s usability is the main key, it also promises to serve as store of value to people that will use it for investment purpose.

When it comes to anything store of value, it is expected to appreciate and then give the believer or the holder the benefit of choosing the system to use as store of value, so my brother, bitcoin really owe people for making the system what it is today and if you ask satoshi, I am sure all he will do is to appreciate people and not kind of castigating them or making feel less important like you are doing.
