If the buyer wants less than 18,500 shares then none of mine get sold, if they need more then mine are up next. Also if we get 3% of the hashrate 0.003 - 0.006 would no longer be "outrageously expensive". We are looking for buyers that may reap the rewards of ActiveMining outperforming even our expectations (more than 3% of the hashrate) |

Really? Last time I check inanimate objects or concepts did not yearn for anything. :p Many humans want information to be free. Sure. I think IPO funds went to eASIC didn't they? DTS you need to remember these accounts are already 6 weeks give or take old. We have had significant online sales since then. Including a 1Mill USD order, which I'm not sure was or wasn't genuine. So no IPO funds were required for the first batch and all the other components needed to make the miners? So the IPO money was for a chip design and that was all? Damn. |

I think what you are referring to is the fact that when you spend coins, you have to sign the tx with your private key, thus giving a "hint" about it. Ah ok that makes sense, so is that a theoretical/academic risk or a real practical risk? |

However once an address spends coins it reveals something? I forget what that something is. I remember reading an address that has not spent coins is somewhat safer. Is this something that could be overcome too?

The report says the bitcoin was converted. no btc was saved as it needed to be turned to fiat to be useful.

The report does not say the avalon refund or IPO Bitcoins were converted, just the sales were converted. I am sure a Bitcoin account can be held and still be useful, Ken can convert Bitcoin into fiat as needed. I really thought ActiveMining had a store of Bitcoin. So all we really have is a grand total of $150,000? Thats not going to be enough for even one batch... I thought the IPO funds were enough to cover the first batch expenses. |

I am going to take a guess and say that the money to buy the first batch and maybe the second batch will be apart of the "Active Mining Corporation" report due at the end of November. I am also guessing that the companies current Bitcoin balance will be on that report too? Are we not sitting on several thousand Bitcoin? Also I hope we have 50TH/s+ by the time this next report at the end of November comes out. I can't imagine sitting on 1TH/s in December. |

Oh true, we certainly need zerocoin or coinjoin very soon. I would imagine if either one of those systems became commonplace and in the reference client you could make a very good argument that the creation of a new address for every transaction is not required for anonymity. What could a solution be?
Keep reusing addresses. Sending change to a new address doesn't increase anonymity. The way I imagine change addresses working, I always thought that they are increasing anonymity somewhat. Why do you disagree? If money never returns to base, so to speak, it always looks like it is moving forward somewhere and working out what forward is the merchant and what forward is you can become difficult. |
