Good but I think there are a few important things which I think were missed:

1) How about anonymity features? I don't favour this but many people do.  Anonymity which can be turned on and off would be a perfect solution.  You could even raise funds to get this done professionally by someone outside of the team if it isn't feasible for you to do it yourselves.

2) In addition to the Android Wallet, how about the ability to send Brit using text messaging?

3) Also a Youtube competition to get people to make a real video to promote Britcoin could potentially help and get Britcoin a lot of coverage.  The other video is rather impersonal and looks like a fancy powerpoint presentation - very slick but not very human.  

4) As ever there needs to be more work done on promotion too - there can never be enough!  With this in mind I think continuing to look for more people to help is really important and should be part of the whitepaper too to make it official.

5) I would also think the idea to have a competition to find a King/Queen of Britcoin for promotional purposes could also work well and give a big boost to spreading the word.

After waiting an extra week for this I have to admit I am slightly disappointed that you left out these ideas/features which have been discussed before with quite a positive reaction.  I understand sometimes things can be overlooked in the rush to meet a deadline - Maybe you can still add them in?

Drak - you misunderstand.  Nobody is saying there is anything wrong with selling the coins.  The problem is simply the use of the term "burn" which is misleading.  Please reconsider this.

I still don't understand people putting up coins for sale at really low prices.  The more people do this the more the price will continue to fall.  Who is so desperate to sell at a loss and why?

Most IPO/ICOs give the coins right away - the ones that don't are the exception.  Also why that would make it necessary to use the word burn is absolutely unclear.  

It is likely that what was initially going to happen was exactly that - the VIA used were going to be destroyed .i.e. burned.  
Now it has been changed to a straight sale (probably because someone has realised that those VIA are quite valuable now).  

If that is the case it is only reasonable to change the word "burn" as it is being intentionally misleading to continue to use it.  

Burn has a distinct meaning that relates specifically to the destruction of coins.  

Selling coins, whether on an exchange, IPO/ICO or via other means is not called burning and never has been.

I think you should make it clear that people are essentially buying XCH coins with VIA in the equivalent of an IPO/ICO.  Using the word "burn" just confuses matters as burn in crypto-currencies means putting coins beyond use in some way.  The VIA exchanged here can and will be used.  Why use the word "burn" at all?

Don't take donations in Britcoin that is a flawed method of collecting that other coins have used and only leads to loss of confidence in the coin's price.   Make all collections in BTC that way there is no issue with conversions having an effect on the price.

Dev & Bitspender.  You don't have to like each other or be friends.  Just agree to cooperate for the benefit of the coin, community and your own investment in the coin.  It's what every sensible (adult) member of the community would want.  Without this the coin won't be taken seriously by anyone and new people won't come in.

Agreed if the rift is resolved the confidence in the coin will improve.

I've temporarily switched to the Windows wallet on my other computer so as to reduce the risk of forking when the switch happens.  The more people that switch to the new wallet now the smoother the transition should be, so I suggest other Mac users who also have a Windows/linux machine to do the same.
