My MN VPServers on Vultr, Amsterdam showed enormous outbound traffic today  Is it only me ... ?  I started a MN VPServer on Vultr, Amsterdam just today. It sounds like from your post that outbound traffic is a good thing. I am constantly switching it up until a get a MN to start dropping coin. Not sure what the best strategy is for finding a good MN Server type and/or location. With enforcement enabled, it doesn't matter at all where your Masternode is located. All nodes get equal payments, no node is paid twice before all are paid once. |

Hey guys, I got a quick question:
I am about to set up a Masternode on Windows but unfortunately I have no static IP. However, I managed to install a DynDNS Client on the server and establish an address. Everything is working but how do I get the DRK Client to connect with the DynDNS address?
You don't. You just need to know the IP address at the time you are cold starting it. You will need to start it from a different IP though. A VPN works just to start it if you are on the same network. Fisrt, can you explain what you want to do? Install a hot MN or your windows home? or cold/hot? That's it... I got to this MN thing myself. Where is the latest resources for "do it yourself" guy? I'm looking to set up 10 to 12 mn's to start with, so I'd be willing to "tip" someone to do some consulting. It would be a nice place to pick up new investors during massive price rises like the one we just had. A lot of people on reddit would of jumped on board had they seen charts. Normally yes, but forget about whether it's the right trend or not, what's significant is the right "valuation". If the valuation is reasonable then the price will hold. In fact it's been flat for months while there's been masses of development and technical consolidation going on. Even if you think Darkcoin's reasonable valuation is only 100th of Bitcoin's, that's still twice the current price. Also you need to take into account that there's very little supply at these low prices. So even if (when) it corrects, it's likely to be on low volume. The price needs to get a good bit higher for significant amounts of liquidity to appear - vertical or otherwise. OK, you have reassured me. I will now just enjoy this! |

No worries, the coins are in the hands of longterm investors. The fundamentals are strong, we are not selling at these prices. We havent been working so hard to sell at 3USD. Let others join, they just dont want to be left behind... InstantX is being priced in, no one expected 3.5secs confirmation times, that is insanely good and has huge potential. Obviously I hope your right... X marks the spot. It happened in an Instant! |
