2081  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: September 16, 2016, 11:42:17 AM
When bitcoin goes up by alot then I will buy a house for sure as I see this as a good investment too just like bitcoin.
As some people said when you buy a house a lot of the cost what you usually pay for rent/mortgage goes away you get other costs but they are not anywhere near the same price.

You still have extra cost with a house and liability remember.  Housing insurance, any maintenance, any set up costs legal etc.

I rent currently very cheaply and i also use my place as a storage.  Its not so bad renting if you can get a good place for cheap with a decent landlord.
2082  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: September 16, 2016, 11:22:05 AM

I think its possible its just going to be strange with a $1 million bitcoin would mean those few big holders with 100k+ we know of like ver, karpeles etc will have $100000000000+  < how much money is that?  Would that not make them some of the most powerful people on the planet?

Im trying to work out how to sign an address in blockchain.info.  They seem to have updated site and i cant find the more options bit or options... whatever it is.

here you go, a quote...
IIRC, there was a thread on bitcointalk on how to sign messages with blockchain.info, just to lazy to look it up right now Wink
here's how to sign:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Yeah pretty sure they have changed the interface now none of these guides work the same anymore.

Maybe someone who knows for sure can confirm/deny blockchain.info allows signing?

2088  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 16, 2016, 08:18:09 AM
always be grateful because rich not only with much money  Grin but in fact we know we need money to live happily

You dont need much money to live a great life... you dont need to be multimillionaire etc.

Live is a cheaper area, have a flexible business, spend time with people you love, eat well and keep fit.   This kinda life you can live really well on something like $50k per year.

Thats my thoughts anyway, if you are a rich business man you probably have a high risk of being over worked and unhappy.
2089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL Clinton or Trump vote! on: September 16, 2016, 08:07:23 AM
Im not a Clinton fan, we are being screwed royally here by being given shitty choices. But with out a doubt shes the obvious better choice

Most bitcoiners seems to be more pro trump from what i've een on twitter and youtube. It looks like you are stuck with 1 or the other though checking the odds for next president its currently approx 2/3rds chance clinton and 1/3rds chance trump:

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/us-politics/us-presidential-election-2016/winner

Odds are changing all the time though and btw the brexit actually happen was even less chance and that happened.  I would not be surprised if we see trump win.
2090  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: September 16, 2016, 08:02:58 AM
If I can get 250 bitcoins then I can buy a small house here in Cyprus. It's a pipe dream of course but I would love to buy my own home one day but chances of me getting anywhere near that is like winning the lottery..a very fat chance lol.

If you can get 250 bitcoin just sit on them for a while then buy your small house in cyprus for 50 BTC or something.   I was not aware the house prices in cyprus were high?
2091  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Bitcoin will be worth in July 2017 ? on: September 16, 2016, 07:54:16 AM

Need some higher options on the poll OP, 2017 is 1 year long Grin  I dont see us having a bubble and not hitting $2k + for example.
2092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: remember "Death Spiral" and "Miners Quitting" before halving! on: September 16, 2016, 07:47:53 AM
Remember, Remember!
The 5th of november 9th of July.
The Halving FUD and Plot.
I know of no reason
Why the Halving FUD
Should ever be forgot!

Before halving aside from all the hype about the price going to the moon there was a lot of talk about mining not being profitable anymore and miners quitting because of it. To a point where it was called a "Death Spiral" because of halving!

Once you get into mining/bitcoin its harder to get out you might aswell stay in. You get  emotionally + materially invested into the success of bitcoin.  This is why over 7 years all we have done is grown overall as the blackhole sucks more people in.
2093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHOULD I BUY AND HOLD BTC, DASH, DOGE on: September 16, 2016, 07:39:32 AM
HI EVERYONE,

I have some money getting HYPE GAME,
should I buy BTC , DASH, DOGE for holding this coins for long term.

Please give me an advance .
Thank you, All

No dont hold altcoins they are a testing ground for the real thing (BTC).  Trade in and out for specualtion only.  This should really be moved to alt section.
2094  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Poker Freerolls on: September 15, 2016, 04:34:12 PM
you should try betcoin.ag
another way is pokerstars... freerolls almost every hour and if you want to do a deposit/withdraw using bitcoin you can use neteller.

5% deposit fee if you go via neteller feels like a whole new level of extra rake.  Pokerstars need to man up and just accept BTC, make sure you guys email them regularly and ask, i have done so about 5 times.

5%?  The Bitcoin deposit fee on Neteller is only 1%.  You can check it out here:  https://www.neteller.com/en/fees

I think it was initially set at 5% by them and then reduced it to 1% several days later basing it on this piece of news:  http://insidebitcoins.com/news/neteller-lowers-bitcoin-deposit-fee-to-1-twice-as-cheap-as-credit-cards/34970

Actually i think it started at 1% then it went to 5%. Now looks like they've gone back to 1% hmmm.  Anyone know since when?

Good news though neteller is a solid way to move fiat for sure, would prefer to deposit crypto as crypto of course!
2095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: September 15, 2016, 04:03:11 PM
If you accidentally find a private key and you can't know the owner, then its probably not illegal.

But if you stole a private key, then it is illegal.
Stealing is illegal. And you know what? It applies to everything. Not just to bitcoin.
Unless, you were stealing a toy from a child, that kind of stealing is not illegal.

Stealing a toy from a child is still stealing = illegal.  Unless you are another child and at play school or something - i assume thats what you mean? If you take a kids skateboard in the street though its a different story.

Anyway bottom line is dont steal peoples bitcoin under any circumstance.  Ethical trading contributes to the world. Provide services and people will be happy to give you bitcoin freely.

2096  Economy / Economics / Re: Earning a living from cyptocurrency options trading on: September 15, 2016, 02:43:06 PM
Still options are so expensive in Etheropt exchange, I'm waiting for better pricing. And some expirations are so close, I like longer expirations which means I will have more time to make profits and apply proper hedging strategies (risk management) on my existing positions.
It is a hard to thing try and make a living out of cryptocurrencies only because that means that you will have to handle in allot of them to make enough money to be able to pay for everything that you need to pay.
For me it would not be possible that is why I use it as an secondary income.

The hardest thing is probably the lifestyle and then #2 would be actual skill to trade profitably.

You have to spend huge amount of time in front of screen, you think about trades while you are socializing/doing other things.  It gets harder the older you get.  Thats my thoughts.
2097  Economy / Economics / Re: English Pound VS Europe Euro Vs US dollar on: September 15, 2016, 02:27:09 PM
1. US dollar
2. Europe Euro
3. English Pound

These are my rankings, US dollar is strongest currency in recent 15 years. Euro is undoubtedly no.2, nowadays RMB/CNY is 3rd.

How long you think euro will even last though, you rank it #2? what happens when everyone leaves the EU? The UK leaving was probably just the start.

The others remained in the EU are just foot soldiers. They cannot leave EU by their own will. Look at Greece, Spain, Portugal... Do you think they can leave EU without a permission from Merkel? They can't. Germany owns their ass. Aunt Merkel will manifacture more BMW's to feed them. When she can't sell anymore BMW's... Now that is going to be a big trouble, and sooner or later it will happen.

What about countries like italy and france, lets assume either leave that could be enough for EU to collapse?  Both these 2 countries are in top 10 economies in world.   France in at #6 just behind UK and UK got to leave... well we assume we are leaving, just really slowly.

Do you think Manchester United will play second squad against Feyenoord?

They aren't going to want to risk ibra i doubt he will play.  34 years old and europa league doesn't matter much unless you get into semi or final and then you can secure a champions league spot.
