@BitcoinHunt3r. If there was a new admin, it might not be because he or she chose not to be as active as the last admin. It can also be because livecasino.io's team is thinking and planning on creating new promos and marketing strategies for the forum hehe.

Previously that's what we did waiting for the new admin but ever since Flávio announced he was going to a new job no more activity on the forum
Apart from that we also need to keep this thread active and of course it would be great if there was an admin here to post some updates
This is just a suggestion from me it doesn't mean anything  Grin does anyone know where we can send this advice?

There is a promotions page in the site.

https://livecasino.io/promotions

Also, it does not have to be an admin. What if the campaign managers assigned some of the people from the campaign to read and learn about one of the new available promos for each of us and post about it here in this thread?

I'm starting to change my mind on them there Giants, how did they do it?

Quote
Following the conclusion of the 2021 season, head coach Joe Judge was fired and general manager Dave Gettleman retired. In the offseason, the Giants hired Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to become the 22nd head coach in franchise history and Bills front office assistant Joe Schoen to become general manager.

Is this all it took?

It appears that might have been all it took, yes.

I was beginning to be convinced during week 5 and have taken 2 giants players from the waiver wire. They could be very useful for me on the bench and ready if my main players are on bye weeks or injured. I am not quite certain on Wandale Robinson, however, Daniel Jones might be the best available quarterback who was not rostered in our league.

@NeuroticFish. It appears that you have misunderstood. It is realistic that yes, there will be a global recession. Biased or not, we know this already. However, I also say that it is also an optimistic prediction because Elon was thinking that it might only last until near 2024. Similar to your reply, I also speculate that it might last longer than this.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 24, 2022, 05:56:28 AM
@DireWolfM14, @wheelz. You have very good insights and understanding of the NFL. Would it be possible if the 2 of you can share your thoughts and what might be your predictions on some of the games for week 7heheheeh.

Giants prediction was correct, thought on Greenbay Packers also correct! On the Giants I would agree because they have only 1 loss for the season and they play against the Jaguars. However, I was shaking my head on the prediction on Greenbay. I thought if Greenbay loses, it would certainly be not against the Commanders.
2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 24, 2022, 05:23:26 AM
Bottom line is some countries may ban bitcoin mining but it will definitely not be because of "fears of climate change" even if they insist on this being the reason. They will only ban bitcoin mining when they face an energy crisis which Europe and to some extent US are facing it these days which is why we are seeing an increased number of discussions about this matter!

It is worth mentioning that China banned bitcoin mining because they were also facing an energy crisis and it didn't solve a thing considering the fact that China's electricity usage continued growing like before, it didn't even have a small drop!
Because the decision to mine or to not mine is already being handled economically by itself. Banning mining because of facing an energy crisis is virtue signalling at best.

1. It’s already insanity to mine Bitcoin from the grid in Europe with skyrocketing energy prices for both industrial and private consumers, it was unprofitable before and even more now.

2. If energy prices are this high it’s more profitable to give energy to the grid than to mine Bitcoin with it for energy producers.

It’s like a self-regulating system that doesn’t take energy from where it’s too scarce, so bans won’t solve anything again like in china. It’s just another example of the incompetence of central authorities to handle crisis. They rather just use it for blame games against unwanted technologies and use arguments that sound logical on a surface level to fool 90% of people. Taking the most incompetent decisions just to maintain an image of competence to the public. Wasting time on irrelevant to the problem issues, so the public can feel like something is being done, while being distracted from actual solutions to the problem. Almost like they understand psychology really well.

However, how can it be just virtue signalling? The problem of the costs and low supply is very real and it might destroy their economy. This is not a problem where the government can say it will fix without really fixing it. This is not a problem that they can ignore. They really need to fix it. Will bitcoin fix this?

Also, I agree that decision to mine and not to mine will be handled economically, however, for some miners, this problem might be a decision of to steal electricity and not to steal electrcity.

Why is this considered news?  Musk knows about as much as anyone else does, so I don't know why the media keep asking his opinion on this stuff.  He even said he's just guessing.  The only thing he really knows for sure is which market he's going to attempt to manipulate next.  If they reported that, then you could call it news.

Agreed that it might only be his guess, however, it is a very realistic guess, I reckon. And also a very optimistic one if we should consider that a bigger war might begin in Europe. The skeptical me is worried that because of desperation and to cause Nato to join the war, Ukraine might detonate a nuclear bomb in a city in their own country and blame it on the Russians.

2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 23, 2022, 03:17:26 AM
This is very disappointing and not only because Spence vs. Crawford will not happen. It is very disappointing that Crawford is not fighting someone who is ranked higher than Avanesyan like Boots Ennis or Vergil Ortiz. This is only another boxing event that is promoted very much similar to ICO scamcoins.
Haha, you really compared this to scamcoins? Well, I understand the disappointment mate, but we have no choice, at least we have one that no fight at all this year. I'm expecting an easy win by Crawford here, hopefully another KO so it will be entertaining to watch.

Paying to watch this fight will certainly be a waste of money.
We can always find a way to watch this fight without paying, so don't bother.  Smiley

Yes, the way they will promote this, it will certainly be similar to those ICO scamcoins. The part of this where it becomes very head shaking is many people will pay for this low quality boxing.

I will certainly not bother watching this even if this is free hhehehehe.

Also, I understand your argument, however, my argument is why did he not choose Boots Ennis, Vergil Ortiz or Keith Thurman? What is the purpose of fighting Avanesyan?
2089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 23, 2022, 02:40:03 AM
With all this in mind, what do you think will be the future of PoW and Bitcoin mining?

1.   Do you think it will be banned entirely after scaring people with climate change concerns?
2.   Will they find ways to make it harder to mine Bitcoin? More regulation, bigger taxes, regular inspections, overly complicated paperwork, and heavy fines for not complying with CO2 emissions are some of the ways they could penalize entities involved with PoW mining.
3.   Do you think the world governments could incentivize those still mining with fossil fuels to transition to clean energy?
4.   Or will all this calm down one day, Bitcoin and its POW will be left alone, and world leaders will focus on other, more important things?

Please vote in the poll and share your thoughts and ideas below.

1. They might begin to try doing it more quickly not because of climate change, it might be because of concerns on energy shortages.

2. Yes and it will be through higher taxes and government makes it harder to apply for permits.

3. In Europe and in America, no hehehe. Why would they waste taxpayer's money? But they might do it in El Salvador. What are the updates on the bitcoin volcano?

4. This might be possible if costs on energy become low again.

Christian McCaffrey traded to 49ers in blockbuster deal

I heard a rumor that this might happen, and totally blew it off as nothing but yet another pipedream for Niners fans.   Another thing that really surprised me was his contract, 4 years $68m...  That seems like a real bargain for the Niners, even with the three draft picks they traded.  Will he be on the Niners' roster this weekend?  The article didn't say.  Regardless, I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl.

LOL just my luck... anyone wants a very good but now slightly useless niners RB? Who may or may not play by week 11 and may or may not get dumped into some other team.

Once Elijah Mitchel is back, the Niners will be back to their normal routine of Running Back Committee.  Obviously CMC will make a huge impact, but I wouldn't expect him to put up fantasy numbers like he did in Carolina.

The first rumors were the Bills were asking for him. The next rumors a few hours later were confirmed that the Rams and the 49ers were serious for a trade. But it appears 49ers offered something more for the Panthers to accept it.

There are some people who say he might play, others speculate no. I might put him on the bench for this week.

Also, I agree with the argument that he might get fewer touches, however, he might also have greater touchdown potential with the new team.

Lol “slightly useless” might be a bit of of an understatement. I own McCaffrey in two of my three leagues, and I’m happy and all about the trade, but I was really hoping he was going to be picked up by the Buffalo Bills.  Can you guys imagine if the Bills added CMC to their roster. It would have easily put them over the top. Niners are definitely a solid landing spot for CMC owners however.

Honestly that is probably one of the best case scenarios for cmc owners.  Niners are known to like to jam the ball.  Cmc will get a ton of touches and opportunities especially with Jimmy behind center.  If Lance was still qb I'd be weary.  I have eli on IR I guess he will be useless once he comes back

I am going to the waiver wire to find another running back. The chance that he might be in IR has increased hehehehe.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 22, 2022, 03:25:07 AM
@inthelongrun. Tyson Fury is only creating media hype for himself to promote his next fight hehe. If there is more hype, there will be more money for him and his team. The fans are many times tricked and manipulated that what is being published and shown in sports news media is real. This is very much similar to altcoin ICOs. The promoters pump then dump on you hehehehehe.
2093  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-10-19] Europe to ban crypto mining this winter on: October 22, 2022, 02:34:19 AM
In addition, the Commission will also cooperate internationally and build on the technical expertise of standardisation bodies to develop an energy-efficiency label for blockchains.

I have some long-term concern about this label, there's possiblty it'll hinder PoW cryptocurrency to remain listed on exchange or can be used as donation option.

Agreed. I have bookmarked your post as a reference on where I have heard this speculation first hehehe. In any case, creating a department where they can standardise an industry is giving them the power to control a whole industry. They will certainly make it sure that bitcoin will not pass their energy efficiency label.

This will be dangerous for users because the proof of work cryptcoins that might pass will be having the risk of 51% attacks. I will be with the maximalists for this argument hehe.

Took Arizona at home to cover -2.5 tomorrow... Deandre Hopkins is back for the Cardinals, although they are out Marquise Brown... after placing the bet I saw most of the pros were actually picking Saints to win... "pros"... what do they know.

Literally half my team has a bye week this week, and for some reason Yahoo won't let me push the little "+" symbols to add new players. Even if I can make the changes its looking grim. Guess I'm resigned to taking the L.

@nutildah. This is worthless, however, you might like this if only to look at it hehe.

Wow, they're hideous, thanks.

I get it that some people think on-chain generative pixel stuff is pretty cool, but to me its all aesthetically unpleasant to the point I would never buy them... everything from CryptoPunks to Dooggies... if anyone knows those references. Even I as Shitcoin Captain have to draw the line somewhere.

I have observed that many of the most successful NFT projects were not about their artwork. They were about community and the shared storylines or shared narratives behind the projects. They were also about identity and addressing how people express identity. An example of this is a project called Cryptodickbutts with pictures of pixelated worms and dicks on their butts. Their shared narrative is have fun and do not take anything seriously. It appears many people agree with this and identify themselves in this narrative.
2095  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-10-19] Europe to ban crypto mining this winter on: October 21, 2022, 03:09:27 AM
@bittraffic. What some of the more venturous miners will certainly do is mine illegally using stolen electricity hehe. I agree that this is a crime, however, I would argue that for those miners who are prepared to do this is good for bitcoin and the decentralization of bitcoin.

I speculate that it might have started in China already after their ban on cryptomining.
2096  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: October 21, 2022, 02:27:43 AM
We cannot tell everyone that El Salvador has failed yet in their plans for bitcoin's adoption in their country. However, what we are witnessing is that it is very difficult to adopt as a medium of exchange because of volatility.

I am aware that it is arguable. But Bukele's excuse of not losing $50 million because he did not sell is a funny one because it appears he did with where the market price presently is. This is also the same excuse we say when we hold an asset below the purchase price. He has become one of us heheheheh.

Bukele's government has been buying Bitcoin regardless of its price in Fiat terms. Not a single coin has been sold so far, so El Salvador hasn't lost anything yet. I'd say this is a good strategy, because it could make the Latin-American country one of the richest (if not the richest) ones in the world after the crypto market turns bullish again. Bitcoin has been shown to reach a new All-time-high in price after every halving event, so it's likely the same will happen by 2024.

If Bitcoin becomes a huge success in El Salvador, then other countries won't think twice by making Bitcoin legal tender. Who knows if there's a very bright future ahead for long-time Bitcoin "hodlers" like us? Just my thoughts Grin

My reply was supossed to be a joke if anyone did not get it. I was only laughing at Bukele's reasoning on why he did not lose money because it is very much a similar reaction to those retail investors who are losing money in their investments when the market is dumping hehehehe.
2097  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-10-19] Europe to ban crypto mining this winter on: October 21, 2022, 01:57:49 AM
This is quite certain to become a reality everywhere including those countries where miners go for cheap electrcity. I have argued about a European ban on mining before and the reaction towards me was not very good as usual hehe. I am also quite certain that much of those people would also say that they expected this news development and it did not need to be said hehehehe.
2098  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suspected Tornado Cash (Ethereum mixer) developer arrested on: October 21, 2022, 01:40:30 AM
@PrimeNumber7. The developer of Tornado Cash is the person being held in a prison for charges the government are not quite certain what. This might end in something similar to Ross Ulbricht where it was possible that the judge, the jury and everyone working in the court knew already what type of sentence was going to be given.

In any case, have these type of sanctions gone to the extreme? Clearly yes.

It also appears that Ethereum users will need an application to know if certain coins came from Tornado Cash hehehehe.

On Wednesday, David Hoffman, a crypto evangelist and host of the popular industry podcast Bankless, filed suit against the Treasury Department over sanctions it issued earlier this year against Tornado Cash, a tool that anonymizes cryptocurrency transactions. (Coin Center, a think tank for the industry, joined him in the suit.) According to the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, the department’s sanctioning arm, the blacklisting is a response to the Lazarus Group, the North Korean hacking army it claims has stolen and laundered some $500 million. The problem, though, is that Tornado Cash isn’t a company or a person — it’s code that lives on the ethereum blockchain, and there’s no way for anyone to control or destroy the protocol. Since Tornado Cash isn’t an entity, it can’t appeal. It’s up to people like Hoffman, who claims he may be forced to affirm every year that he’s not a criminal — not because he has used it or has some connection to North Korea, but because he once had someone send him money using Tornado Cash.

Source https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2022/10/have-u-s-crypto-sanctions-gone-too-far.html
If sanctions are being placed on an entity that does not exist, it is a statutory defect.

There are many cases in which the outcome is clear to most involved in the case because the evidence is clear. The evidence against Ulbright was strong, and there is additionally evidence that Ulbright knew what he was doing was going to result in a long prison sentence if he was caught. I think the law is less clear in the case of Tornado Cash.

My argument was more about the treatment of the government on the defendant. I would speculate that if a mixing protocol developer would become very popular the treatment would be something similar to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

In any case, what is the government of Netherlands demanding from the Tornado Cash developer? Do they want him to publish a statement and condemn his own project? There was a mixer before that did this hehehehe.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 20, 2022, 05:02:20 AM
@Yaunfitda. According to the article, the president of the WBC said that the winner of Wilder versus Ruiz will fight Tyson Fury. I reckon because Fury is WBC heavyweight champion and Usyk the WBA, WBO and IBF champion, he cannot speak for those other organizations because it is out of his control hehe.

It might be much better for the winner of Wilder vs. Ruiz to challenge Usyk before challenging Fury for the unification. This will certainly make the fans watch Fury-Wilder 4 if Wilder becomes a champion of the other organizations hehehehe.
2100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suspected Tornado Cash (Ethereum mixer) developer arrested on: October 20, 2022, 04:46:11 AM
~snip~

This is far different from the case of Ross Ulbricht. Ross created and operated a marketplace where illegal stuff are sold. He may not be the one selling, but it's his website, his store. And he's very much aware of the illicit deals there. He, therefore, facilitated these transactions. He could have regulated it so that only legal goods and services are allowed.

In the case of Tornado Cash, it's just a code that is open and available to everybody. The authorities are, therefore, in a quandary as to how to deal with the developer. He didn't facilitate money laundering. It's very possible he was never even aware of it. So how should he be blamed for it. But I guess the authorities just want heads to roll, whoever they may be. It can't be left unattended. Somebody has to fall and suffer to instill fear. The problem, however, is that unlike the Silk Road, the code can't actually be shut down.

Agreed that they are very different cases, howver, I was only implying that the government, the court, the judge might treat this similar to Ross Ulbricht's case. This case will only be a show to try and make everyone afraid. They will take this case and make it an example of what might happen to someone if they develop mixing protocols. But also similar to the darknet's large growth since the imprisonment of Ross, it will show everyone that the government's tactics will not work hehehe.
