2081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Grow my Bitcoins. on: September 10, 2016, 10:07:00 AM
There's a bunch of different ways to grow your bitcoins. Some of them needs a decent amount of capital and makes you earn money quickly, some of them don't need a lot of capital but don't make you earn money quickly.

A way is to think of a strategy in gambling that will win in the long run. Even though it's quite hard to find a strategy that works in the long run, it's still one of the ways to grow your Bitcoins.

Another way is to do altcoin trading. You can start with just 5$ and get some experience. Once you get the gist of buying/selling, then you can put in some more money.
2082  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: September 10, 2016, 09:51:24 AM
Bitcoin simply added another task in my daily life. When I get up of bed, I usually just go to Facebook and then watch videos on Youtube while sipping a cup of coffee. That consumes an hour of my daily life. Today, instead of wasting my time on social media sites, I spend it in this place. I update the overview of signature campaign table everyday so I could help other people in this place in return of the benefits that I get in this forum.
2083  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 10, 2016, 09:25:09 AM
I wish I could buy stuffs in groceries using my BTC. Having a BTC ATM card would be really nice, you just have to swipe the card whenever you want to buy something. The possibility of this technology getting implemented in the future is quite high because a lot of people are looking forward for something like this. It'll be really easy to buy literally anything in the mall or any other place.
2084  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: September 09, 2016, 04:32:58 PM
Bitcoin is already an international currency. Wherever you are, you can always use your Bitcoin to transact with someone online. When visiting other countries and you want to get a local currency, you can look up online what online wallet supports a withdrawal in that currency. For example, in my country which is the Philippines, we have coins.ph which allows you to withdraw your Bitcoins into peso. I bet there are other countries that has website like ours.
2085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to alt coin trading, Help on: September 09, 2016, 04:09:31 PM
You could start by looking for an altcoin exchange website, I recommend YoBit.net because of their interface. The support is pretty slow, though. After depositing some Bitcoins to start your trading with, go ahead to alt coin section and see what's the "trend" coin. Do some research about that trendy coin, they usually have a thread in here, and see what does other people think about it.

Since you're just new to altcoin trading, you have no other way of learning but to have some experience. Trust a user in the altcoin board and ask some advice, but don't trust him too much that you're ready to give him your coins. That'd be foolish. If the coin dies and you get negative profit, that's okay. If the coin rises, then that's good and that's also a sign that the person you were talking to actually knows what he is doing.
2086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back! $700 on: September 09, 2016, 03:58:27 PM
Too early to be so positive about this pump. Even though it would be nice if Bitcoin price goes back to 700$ range, we shouldn't celebrate right now because it's still in 620$ range. We should be grateful, though, because after a couple of weeks, we can finally see an actual movement on Bitcoin's price. Only thing we can all do is hope that our patience would finally pay off.
2087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: September 09, 2016, 03:52:57 PM
PayPal is for the winner of this fight, it has a nice dispute system and also a nice support if something goes wrong, with the bitcoin this is not the point at all.
The charge back system helped me already several times and this is also why I'm choosing for PayPal.
Yes and the charge back system has also helped a lot of scammers. Every thing that is positive can be abused by people with evil intentions. And also, apparently, the Buyer Protection of Paypal doesn't cover digital goods (which is always being sold in this place), so if you get a defective digital good, then you tried to dispute the payment, Paypal will be such a douchebag about it any you will not be able to recover your Paypal funds.
2088  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 100.000 to 1 million is a possibility in 2035 on: September 09, 2016, 12:20:47 PM
It's quite hard to predict dates like this. It's too far from today that it will as if like you're looking at the middle of the sea from the seashore and somebody asks you, "Can you see that goldfish in the middle part of the ocean?" Of course you can't, and asking somebody a question like this is quite foolish. You can't possibly know what will happen in 2035. A lot of thing can happen and change along the way.
2089  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 08, 2016, 12:54:51 PM
I think when trying to encourage a local business owner or even anyone to accept BTC as a mode of payment, you shouldn't jump to persuading them. Don't be like "Bitcoin is amazing, accept bitcoin now in your shop." Even if you're able to get into the mind of the shop owner and make him such a ditto head, if he don't understand how the whole Bitcoin concept works, then he shouldn't accept BTC.

First, you have to lecture him about how a wallet works, how to make his wallet secure, what is Bitcoin, what is the advantage and disadvantage of Bitcoin, stuffs like that. When he fully understand all of those, he can then decide if it'll be beneficial to him and to his shop if he accept BTC or not.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your friend just know about Bitcoin and said he just invested into cloud mining. on: September 08, 2016, 12:39:28 PM
Let's one of your friend say he/she (for simple reference, I will just use 'he' throughout the thread) just know about Bitcoin. And he purchased some Bitcoin and invested some of it to cloud mining site. What will you say to him? Would it be nice for you to tell him to stop? Or let him learn online scam the hard way?
I'll tell him, "Congratulations, you just donated some money to some deadbeat from the Internet!!" and then leave him.

Kidding aside, I will tell him that he was just scammed. The website might still be paying him right now, but eventually they will stop paying and run away. He already sent his coins, we can do nothing about it now. You can't stop him now, he has to learn his lesson the hard way. I'll also tell him that we all have been there, we we're all scammed by some investment site out there so he will not be embarrassed and think of getting scammed at first as a normal and acceptable incident.
2091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: September 08, 2016, 11:36:04 AM
To be honest, it's really hard to earn profit out of altcoin trading that's why I don't do it anymore. There are days that the coins that you invested in doesn't even rise or dump, the markets simply are not moving at all.

Most devs are going to promise you this and that, and then the next thing you know, they are gone. Plenty of altcoin devs just goes missing weeks after they solicited the amount of money that they need to finish their "project". That really makes it hard for investors to trust a new altcoin project, let alone you're looking for an altcoin that can make you have a 1000BTC profit.
2092  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: September 08, 2016, 10:50:47 AM
Right now it's quite risky to buy 1BTC and hold on to it in hopes of having some profit any time soon. We were at 560$ last week and we've been playing at that range for a while and then this week, the price of Bitcoin just shoot up once again. Maybe a pump and dump? If it is, there's a chance that you're buying at the top of the pump and that basically means that you're going to spend a lot of time waiting for Bitcoin to pump again. Those people who filled up their stashes last week or last last week are very lucky because they already earned 60$ per Bitcoin that they bought.
2093  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: September 07, 2016, 03:06:26 PM
1$/hour is such a low rate for people in the first world countries, but people from third world countries who earn 1$ per hour are considered lucky. I think I'm not going to accept any job that makes me do a lot of work or repetitive tasks and just earn 1$ in an hour. I'm only going to accept a job that doesn't need that much attention, something that you can run in background, something that you can leave to a bot, for 1USD per hour.
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 07, 2016, 02:30:31 PM
I think Bitcoin is a good way to store money. It is atleast better than storing your money into the bank. Both of them are secure. But it's very likely that if you're going to store money, you're going to store it for a while. If you store your money in Bitcoin for a while, there's a possibility that the value is higher than it was. In that way, you can have some profits. On the other hand, storing your money in bank will not give you any profit.
2095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't store private keys on UBS Safe on: September 07, 2016, 02:22:19 PM
Or maybe don't put anything at all in that website or any other website that offers the same service. I always find websites like that as a shady service. You want your data to be safe but you're trusting it to some service on the Internet that can scam you anytime and leave you without a trace.

In any case, you can always keep your data in a USB drive and then put it on a vault. You can also just print out your Private keys and then delete the files on your computer that contains your Private keys.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: $0.0001 of value for 1 Bitcoin in the Year 2020 on: September 07, 2016, 02:13:27 PM
If Bitcoin becomes 0.0001$ each then somebody can buy all the Bitcoins. If he could successfully make it a thing again, and he choose to release only a small amount of Bitcoins into the public, then Bitcoin surely will be scarce to all the other users.

We can't say for sure that Bitcoin will ever be 0.0001$, though, due to the fact that Bitcoin has grown a lot and more and more people are becoming interested in Bitcoin.
2097  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2016, 12:58:26 PM
Although it's not 100% recommended that you transform a kid into a Bitcoin making-machine, kids nowadays are smarter than half of the adults out there. I think if you guide them enough, they'll be able to understand the whole point, the how-to-do's of Bitcoin. First the kid that you're going to teach should know how to understand english, know how to use a computer, and know how to do basic math. And then teach him the very basic first, like how to make a wallet and then make it secure. Then explain to him what is the concept of Bitcoin. The kid doesn't have to depend solely on you because he can always google for answers if he has a question.
2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: September 06, 2016, 01:56:36 PM
If all the Bitcoin users refuse the spend their Bitcoin and decide to just hold all of them, then the price of Bitcoin will not move. Bitcoin's price will not increase, it will not decrease as well. No movement will be detected until somebody decides to sell their bitcoin or until somebody enters the bitcoin world and decide to invest some money into Bitcoin.
2099  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 01:48:54 PM
My plan is very simple now i am got in higher rank so enrolled in a signature campaign and started to earn, apart from that i am doing skill work for bitcoin and doing translation work for altcoins, doing sports betting for only matches which i am 100% confirm of winning, cricket match betting, and some time if any new altcoin trading also.

Like this my target is 1btc every 3 months,

1 btc per 3 months that is 12 per year, and that is actually a really great income to have and as we know that price will be higher in future so you can expect higher value of your coins.
1 BTC per 2 months earnings average in my opinion and can not become rich. We need more than that to be rich in bitcoin. There are many ways that we can use in order to become rich bitcoin. Most important is the effort and hard work.
I think the technique that you're looking for is saving as much money as you can from all your earnings and then use all that savings as a capital in another project. This way, you'll get another source of income and as you repeat the steps, your earning will grow exponentially instead of settling at a single source of income which will only lead you to a linear growth.

It's said that an average wealthy person has 6 to 7 sources of income. If you don't look for another source of income, then you'll never be rich.
2100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 01:38:55 PM
We must put our trust on Bitcoin because bitcoin has unlocked a lot of doors for us. Anonymity, irreversible and fast payments, a new community, and another world which is a combination of trolls and intelligent people. Without bitcoin, maybe half of the people in here aren't making decent amount of money everyday. That includes me, bitcoin has introduced me to a way of earning money online.

I used to stay online for a couple of hours just to interact with people on Facebook and that's just so pointless. Now, whenever I'm online, I spend my time in this forum and that has been a really good thing ever since. It kept me away from social media and it made me earn some money.
