2:2 between Barca and MU, what is more positive result for MU. At some moments MU even dominated, but goals that Barca conceded is really cheap. Especially that one between Ter Stegen and close post, you don't see such mistakes from him often. After substitutions Barca had moments to win game, but didn't made it. We won't have Gavi and Pedri in 2nd leg and it's huge loss.
Sevilla may struggle in La Liga, but Europa league is their playground. They not just won against PSV 3:0, but they done it in style. Bayer - Monaco game was most impressive with Monaco taking lead 2:3 on additional time already.
Juve and Sporting failing to win their games is biggest disappointment. Though, on Juventus game it was questionable moment with handball and not awarded penalty.

I only watched the first half (which is still super late for me) and I thought we were the far better team, but of course, as they say, nothing counts if you don't get the goals. I think we just haven't found the way as others did not to silence Rashford, how we can allow him to score from basically simply 2/3 move attacks while we need 10/15 moves attacks is not really good.

The worst moment I agree was seeing our best midfielders coming off, I hope for Pedri it is not longer than a month but it's such a bad time for him to get injured.

Monaco making me happy also Smiley

Sounds weird talking about all these teams and it's not Champions League right?

Nice win, but even nicer to see that coreo from the Turkish fans. I recognize quite a few countries there, it is a tragedy actually what happened and a wake up call for the country, just like in our countries whenever disaster happens to think about long term safety and construction quality. Amazing thank you for sharing Smiley

Back to Partizan, was the result correct or did Sheriff deserved a point? Seems not so long ago when they were terrorizing Real Madrid!
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 17, 2023, 07:27:54 AM
I also think that Chelsea will have a bigger chance than people will think. Of course I only can say from highlights, that's the only thing I can watch so it's very different to see 5 - 10 best moments picked from the game rather than the entire match. Same as PSG, they look like they are on fire with Mbappe.

Nice freebet win to @KTChampion! Today my active bet page is completely 0. Sad!!

Of course me. I don't really like the fact that Barca are such big favorites in this first game, have they not seen Manchester United play recently? Rashford is unstoppable, but I hope our very own famous defence now (lol) can make it happen that they finally stop him.

I didn't even know we were going for 12 straight wins, seems weird that 11 was our highest when Real has over 20+ straight wins and actually in the season when we got the treble!!

Bitcoin, for better or for worse, will never be that status symbol. If you talk about it on a TV talkshow or on radio, people will generally view you as scammer or con artist or crazy. Plus, people who talk about Bitcoin usually don't even talk about the latest upgrade or tech or whatever.

I've been there and seen everything, and believe me, I don't want to get into such situations again - you try to explain to a person what Bitcoin is, and in the end he concludes that it's a money laundering scheme or that you want to give him some ref link through which he has to join. Of course there are ref links to CEX or various other Bitcoin related things, but that is a side issue and not the point of the whole thing.

Then we can understand each other. It wasn't like I was going out and telling people all about Bitcoin. It was just if there was ever a topic about money or something similar, or if Bitcoin came up, I definitely was a lot more open before and telling people what I found. But it then turns them to you, and they start attacking you as if you're asking for their money. Or like, you said, okay what's the catch, do I have to be your referral lol.

I even deleted social media after that because for some reason people even blamed me for "exposing them" when they went and joined some ponzi or ICO when I clearly never said such things.

Definitely, again, looking at this point. It's not more sidechains or tech needed for Bitcoin. People don't see the tech as special, or don't want to. They just need to understand the benefits of using it and unfortunately, some benefits can only be seen after experiencing loss on fiat systems.
2086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: February 16, 2023, 10:03:59 AM
I haven't started any kind of farming yet recently due to big losses both in casino and in sports, but one day, one day, I always say I'm gonna get this kind of wager contest done Smiley
Do you loss on livecasino because you get up to 20% cashback if you opted in for the monthly cashback. I remember one time I get almost 200$ monthly cashback for losing huge amount in there which other casino doesn’t have.

Sorry for your loss mate. I sure you will recover it very quick.

Thank you for that, but no problem for me. I'm kinda used to winning suddenly and losing quickly, it's the story of my crypto gambling life, but overall, much better these days because of Sportsbet, Livecasino, etc. who keep making sure we got good promotions.

The fun we get out of it is what counts right?

I actually did get quite a lot of cashback at Livecasino too, now that you mentioned it, much much more than other places. Not $200 like you, for me it was more like $20 in one month during one of the times I tried to rank high for Crypto Crunch.

I changed pretty quickly to receiving more RP instead of lottery tickets for every free roll as the RP are a lot more interesting. It would be great if you could only win RP or satoshis as the WOF (or exchange the lottery tickets for RP) but they never do that as it will not be affordable anymore for them. Personally I like lotteries and the result of last week also shows that with a minimum amount on tickets you can already win!

I think if I look back, especially on my personal stats, I guess there's not that much RPs wasted from freerolls. Even if you rolled 20,000 times, that's 40k RP, not really much at all. So I guess I'll still inisist to keep the tickets, thinking my turn will come in a big way, it's really weird how the mind works!

On the one hand, it is disappointing, and it seems unfair that someone with only 41 tickets managed to win a prize in the lottery while you with 80k tickets won nothing. On the other hand, you shouldn't be surprised by this because lottery winners are determined randomly. In addition, if you look at the total number of tickets in that round, you'll notice that your chance of winning something was only 0.46%, and that's obviously very low.

Duh, I know how it works, dude. I'm just sharing and commenting on the disappointment with myself, and laughing it off. No need to explain "lottery winners are determined randomly". If people are using this site and active on this section of the forum for years, and still can't understand that, then we shouldn't be here.

I wish guys like you would stop pointing out, as you yourself say, the obvious  Roll Eyes

At least some of you guys are getting paid to use the time from work to do something fun lol I remember there was a time it was so bad I was asking some of my mates to cover for me for a while during shifts just so I could post some things in SB threads or wait for specials to show up.

But tthis is of course related to betting anyway so I guess it would have happened with or without SB lol

I still haven't got one right lol 0/5 counting question number 6 out thanks to Benfica winning 2-0. My tennis prediction is also half dead with Rublev eliminated early by De Minaur.  Tongue

The only good thing going for me is that my opponent is only 1 point up but there's not much difference in the last four questions so a draw would be the best case for me.

Unlike my vd309 who has got everything right at the moment OMG

jayce it seems quite tight for us though I cannot bother counting all the other results so we'll just wait and see, but so many close results that change just with one goal, or in Bayern case, 1% possession gave me 1 point!
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 15, 2023, 12:29:21 PM
It seems to me that the main reasons are economic. In England, the best conditions for football as a business have been created (even if there is a lot of dirty money there now), while in France (maybe something has changed there since Hollande, I don’t know) football (and other business) are literally strangled. And again, look at Italy - they once dominated, but for a long time their economy has been stagnating and they are dying out. In Spain the situation is slightly better but there only the top clubs remain at the top (but at the same time Barcelona is close to bankruptcy lol).

I'm not an expert but I believe the same economic conditions for football exist in other European countries, but why I say quality is because of the Middle East. For example I think you can invest as much money as you want and even buy all the tv rights in Saudi Arabia. No limits, no quotas, no nothing, you can buy Ronaldo if you can pay 200m a year salary, no problem.

And the profits from football clubs there, guess what, is almost tax free!

So what's stopping football from becoming great there? Even better than England. Sky TV and all the others have rights, to watch it abroad you have to either pay or pirate. Saudi football can be watched for free. Saudi economy is booming for 30 years, no recession, oil pumping, no tax even... But who wants watch football to even with Ronaldo there?

Quality. And language Smiley This is the most obvious things for me.

Football in Saudi Arabia is the plaything of the rich, it has no economic rationale. England has a real effective demand for football, so it is doing well, poorer countries like Italy or Spain are gradually losing their positions, but there is still the USA where a huge market (and in the future it can surpass the European one) and this is another reason why the top clubs in Europe trying to organize the Superleague. Serie A against MLS is nothing, just like La Liga and even more so Ligue 1. But united at the top level, they have a chance.

But I was going back to my point of the success of English football. In the beginning before professional football, there was also no economic rationale but they changed the rules and the systems and effectively created a demand for it overseas.

Why can't local clubs compete with next door clubs in England who have fans overseas? No demand to watch Wrexham for example, until they got bought by an actor of Hollywood and suddenly Wrexham games are being beamed abroad and ESPN is giving them all kinds of coverage. Most importantly, it is in English. So people in South America, Africa, Asia, everywhere understand it in general.

But put Ronaldo in Saudi and watch the streams in either Arabic or Portuguese and we all switch off.

I actually agree with you, though, just I think English football until the day English is not any longer the major language. It will be Chinese, and in the super future I agree you are right about USA but when China decides football is their agenda, we're all over lol.

Then clubs like PSG will become something like Saint-Etienne. History but nobody watches.

I manage to get 2$ on 1 mystery prize after betting 2300$. I have a crazy roller coaster ride on my bank roll just to farm that wager within a day and $2 is not worth it the risked involved. Good thing that I really enjoy playing all day with Blackjack, Crazy time and Craps. At the end, I gained 100$ in total plus the 30$ that I will get on Crypto Crunch tournament tomorrow(finger crossed).

I was planning to enter the top 20 but I’m scared that my profit might be wiped out for chasing that additional 20USDT reward.

I have a very bad outcome on Rise of Olympus 100, 50$ burn without any significant profit using 0.2$ bet. I missed winning big time on this slot bro.  Grin

Well done, lol. To be honest, seeing those odds, we have to expect that we'll probably need to wager 230,000 to get something close to a top prize, so it was never meant to be expected. Still have to respect you!

I haven't started any kind of farming yet recently due to big losses both in casino and in sports, but one day, one day, I always say I'm gonna get this kind of wager contest done Smiley

Cup could actually be a good idea like side competition across all leagues but first we need to have these leagues settled properly and all off you comfortable with the competition. It is already too much rules on paper and we don't want to complicate it any more.

Cup as a side competition sounds like a great idea! That way people from different divisions can compete against each other. But I agree that maybe we should wait for the first season to pass at least. That way everyone participating will be familiar with the rules and participants that applied but are not playing (if there will be participants like that) are out of the competition.

Yeah! I also said about cup competition, because especially if after 2 or 3 seasons some people cannot promote, or people get relegated, they might feel very down and difficult to motivate. For me, that is the most dangerous thing to think about, not Division 1, but 2 and 3 and so on. How do we convince them to play every season?

I agree not to complicate stuff, let us all get used to it first. But for sure inter-division cup is one way to create constant motivation.

Exactly. This isn't like an iphone or a new Samsung Galaxy with new features, so people buy them just because it's the latest, and it can take photos at night or it can make you look beautiful while you're walking.

Maybe it's not a good comparison since Bitcoin is not a physical object to show around, unless you have one of those expensive watches that have some interesting features that you can certainly flaunt around. Maybe some will disagree, but I have never considered Bitcoin a status symbol, but those who think differently obviously do not understand that they are endangering the personal safety of themselves and their loved ones - of course I mean us mere mortals, not people like Saylor or the famous W twins.

Bitcoin may not be physical but that's why I mentioned NFTs (or even altcoins like Shiba Inu). These were stuff you talked about and showed off that you got, I seen it on TV talkshows and even on radio. People talk about them like they talk about their latest vacation or their latest bling. It's actually quite a good comparison as you say, a status symbol.

Without needing to see it, people already imagine these things and "admire" the people who own them.

Always about x10 POTENTIAL lol.

Damn. What a round of lottery, 2 winners there pocketing with such small amounts. In that list, only 2 people had more tickets than me too, so I'm feeling pretty disappointed with myself lol.

I had almost 80k tickets, hehe you can blame the 4xRP rewards for that which came 2 in a row, but the RP itself was nice I guess, along with a few more spare GTs!

It's not that I'm against development, but I don't think it's necessary to invent something new in that direction in order to increase the demand for Bitcoin - because let's be honest, what percentage of people today bought it because it's something new, innovative and technologically advanced?

Exactly. This isn't like an iphone or a new Samsung Galaxy with new features, so people buy them just because it's the latest, and it can take photos at night or it can make you look beautiful while you're walking.

This is Bitcoin. People buy it not to flash or to fit a cool thing, that's altcoins and NFTs. Bitcoin is a lifestyle choice and you don't make it more attractive with bigger better newer tech.

Positions in the graphics are sorted by some strange criteria, i used software for random fixtures. Your weren't actually last spot, not that it matters but I remember buwaytress was first spot all the time since he was first sign up and I immediately placed him in first league.

Now we will embarrass ourselves, don't know why but I am always bad in competitions I run. I guess I don't have the will to do the research, since I already lost time making the questions  Grin

That makes me feel better about myself, thanks Wink

Regarding your competitions, you seem to be doing quite ok in some of the pools, but if people are meant to be worse in the competitions they manage, I can't think of how worse it could be if I started one lol

That was my question. I thought players would just write three names. For instance Tsitsipas, Rublev, Rublev.

Now i don't even know if that combo is possible, I did not fill them out yet and didn't check the draw.

Oops I didn't realize there was a draw to check, I just went to sportsbet and checked the odds and put in the top favs Wink

Totally agree about Barca being a new side. Clean sheets. Long ball passes. 1-0 victories. It's such a different mood for us, and yet on the field style of play is similar to old stype (except the long balls!!).

Only thing we kept is booking points, it's La Liga I know so a lot of cards but we have been collecting cards for so many seasons now, at least fewer reds this time, I guess.

My only problem is I have been losing money everywhere, and using Barca only to regain losses. I wasted such a good stretch on good odds too, should have put standard bets on them.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 13, 2023, 08:57:56 AM
League 1 as a business is much worse than the Premier League and no sheikhs and artificial infusions of money can change this. As far as I heard, tickets for League 1 games are several times cheaper than for Premier League games, and everyone knows that TV rights to show EPL games bring record amounts. League 1 needs to develop as a business, then over time they will be able to reach the level of the EPL, all other artificial methods are nonsense.

I think it's more about quality. Before EPL got all their money they attracted a lot of quality and wanted to play very good football. Exciting football. Plus a lot of people everywhere they wanted to show it spoke English. I think English as a language was the key secret.

Saw that you tied the Monaco game with Barca, good luck, didn't believe in Marseille enough? Wink

I thought it was itself a big risk in its own already! So yes Barca won the second game on my multibet, so I won it back happily. And to make it even better I put something pretty big on single ticket and that also converted, so I'm a happy guy this weekend.

Funny that it wasn't I made profit, but I made back money on losses and that makes me happy lol.
