Is it really true, no more Vegeta memes?

No please, not anymore. We've had enough of that stupid "It's over $9000!!" meme!

Time to move on. Roll Eyes

Good chance Vegeta will return when corn hits $90.000. Tongue

But first we need Sparta memes at $30,000.  Cool

AYHs galore.  Cool
2143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2020, 03:25:27 PM
$10k.

I can taste that margarita already.
2144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2020, 02:50:30 PM
5 figures again soon?

$10k USD/BTC by EOD at this rate. 🤞

Great. I'll need a shot by then.

Going down to the coast this afternoon. Does a margarita count as a shot?

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Back up a little after dipping a wee... currently $9895USD/$13145CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

5 figures again soon?

Another tenfold increase and I'm set for life. It would be foolish to cash out now.

It would be foolish to "cash out" even after a tenfold increase.

Just sell a few coins to buy some luxuries and keep the rest for future growth.
2147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 10, 2020, 02:08:44 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we slipped all the way back to where we were the day before yesterday... currently $9814USD/$13060CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Fairly standard correction/profit-taking/manipulation (take your pick).

Did anyone really think we'd blow right past $10k without a whimper?

Shots for every time we cross $10k? My liver quivers.

...that brings me up to locoiner status...

You'll always be a bro-coiner to me.
2149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 10, 2020, 12:07:50 AM
Oh lookie. Another AYH... $10200 (Stamp).

Edit: Oops was it really $10200 or just $10199.99 rounded up?
2150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 09, 2020, 10:21:47 PM

ppl group 0: mined/bought at any price --> sold never

I'd rather be on the other groups than taking my coins to my grave.

All that wealth don't mean shit when you are dead. At some point you should want to cash out if not, something isn't right there.

You just don't "cash out" all at once.

You sell bits as needed to pay for the good life, retaining the bulk to perpetuate it.

I see Bitcoin increasing in value faster than I can spend it.

Grin then take two girlfriends instead of just one and the money will disappear much faster. Grin

The one I've got now is extremely jealous.  Undecided

Under ten and back.
It's still too early for me
To drink a shot though.

I'll stick to coffee
And wait until happy hour
And have a shot then.
_____

Coronavirus mostly kills older people. Older people mostly don't own Bitcoin and have little interest to buy it compared to younger people. When they die they leave money and assets to younger people. Younger people use money and sell assets to buy Bitcoin. Moon.

except this old person. i plan to die with zero btc (or most any assets actually) left. the timing is iffy; im still working on a workable timeline for the various events planned.

Any assets this old person leaves will be mostly Bitcoin. I see Bitcoin increasing in value faster than I can spend it.

Sure I have fewer coins than I had at my peak but I'm only spending them as necessary to maintain my lifestyle of living happily ever after.

My total may not be worth as much as in late 2017 but in a couple of years I'll be able to consider myself rich and not merely comfortable.

Hopefully I'll still have lots to leave my heirs.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

We finally broke through $10k to an AYH of $10179 (Bitstamp) and while we had no proper following correction, there at least has been a little consolidation... currently $10090USD/$13430CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

No rockets, trains or fiddles though. Just business as usual. This is good.

Go Bitcoin go.

bull fag?

2154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy only bitcoin or take chances in altcoin casino? on: February 08, 2020, 10:28:01 PM
The thread title is apt.

Bitcoin is an investment.

Altcoins are gambling.
2155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2020, 09:42:02 PM

For early adopters it was probably Feb 2011 (dollar parity).

For some of us it was Nov/Dec 2013 (g-note parity). Didn't last long enough to party though.

It depends how you view it. Psychological landmark? 3-4x the previous ATH?

Next moon to me will be measured in 6 digits.

Quick edit: AYH

Good morning Bitcoinland.

More of the same... another day, another AYH ($9899 Stamp), another wee correction... currently $9815USD $13060CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Keep it coming.
2158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 07, 2020, 09:00:15 PM
Gone sideways too long. When moon?

Sideways?

Since when do you need to login to browse reddit?
They for a while have been aggressively pushing for using the app, but could still be ignored.

Desperate to track and profile its users it seems. Bye Reddit.

All those trolls are in my ignore list to this day, with kwukduck at the top. Back then I used to think these people were getting paid to troll. And now at this point I'm somewhat convinced these russian/chinese troll farms that are used to sway social media got their start in the Bitcoin community. Sort of a proving ground that sowing discord can have real world effects.

"Ok newbie welcome to trollcorp, now go cut your teeth on those new fangled Bitcoiners and all their joy and exuberance".

Its actually a credit to all of you who kept this thread going and active that you have turned it into what it is today, where the negative troll effect is effectively zero.

Well howdy old timer. Lurk much?
