Yeah, I got it, everyone thinks he'll be suited at Arsenal because they're playing a lot better than everyone else at the moment, well form is temporary but class is permanent, I haven't really watched him play but he's currently the fastest player in the league looking at his previous speed stats and from what I've seen he likes to be on the move, and I think he'd do well in a team like Chelsea who play counter attacking football unlike Arsenal ( possessive football)

With the quality we have on the wings now, he will easily walk into our IX if he performs well. Pulisic and Ziyech's future is uncertain after this season; they are part of our problems.
Harkorede posted my minds pretty much. I also think that he would fit for Arsenal more, but you have good point about Chelsea style of play. Shakhtar in Champions/Europa league also played counter attacking football, rather than possesive football. But I just don't think that Mudryk's position was most problematic in Chelsea that had to spend 100 millions for him.
I don't agree with argument that ''player who wants to ball will ball no matter where he finds himself''. If it would be true, there wouldn't be so many bad transfers when player i new club fail to show what he used to show in his previous club. For example, not every player can perform well in clubs managed by Simeone or Mourinho. Or opposite, sometimes manager simply don't have enough competence to use strong sides of player, like when he let him to play not in his prime position.

Yeah, there are just some players that no matter how good they potential are just wouldn't fit in into certain clubs (more regards to the system and style of play). The biggest problem is Chelsea having right now is that apart from being injury plagued, the lack a lot of identity and chemistry, you have six players playing a specific wing and with a contrast different ideology or style of play, which is what I'm expecting of Graham Potter and I'm willing to give him enough time to have his players fully back and then I can judge if he in my opinion if or not he's coach worthy of coach a club like Chelsea.

My pick for tonight.

Los Angeles Lakers (-4.5) vs Houston Rockets = Los Angeles Lakers Win 1,84 Odds.

Good luck guys.

Los Angeles Lakers pretty much like a solid pick, because despite missing a couple of their starters, their role players have stepped up real big and Westbrook has been nothing but lit this past weeks too, but I don't think I'm confident to want to bank on them against the  Houston Rockets, even with Kevin Porter Jr probably still out, I'll be going with the Overs, currently valued at Over 232.5 @ 1.80
2146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 16, 2023, 09:10:15 PM
What do you guys think about Mudryk's transfer to Chelsea? I'm afraid that it can become story of another wasted talent. It feels that Chelsea desperately wanted to buy him to net let Arsenal to sign him. I hope that I'm wrong, but I really wanted to see him in Arsenal and I think that going to gunners would be much better deal for both club and player.

A good player performs everywhere, I'm tired of hearing about "wasted talent," a player who wants to ball will ball no matter where he finds himself, if Mudryk is a good player, he will prove it on the pitch, I haven't seen him play, but from the few clips I've seen, I believe he has a lot of potential to do well. He has pace, which is something I look for in a player.

It's not Chelsea's fault that Arsenal couldn't pay €5m more for him. Who knows, going to Chelsea might be the best option

I think he's probably speaking from a perspective of where he thinks Mudryk would likely fit into the game plans easily, I don't know about Mudryk as at 7-8 days ago, so I really can't speak much of his abilities, but from have learnt in the last few days, I think he'll be better suited to Arsenal imo too, because Arsenal currently lacks a squad depth and he might get more playing time there, however he will seemingly struggle to keep his place once Chelsea luxury of players playing the same role as he does gets back from their injury spell.

I don't think i've ever seen someone take a pen, slip, touch the ball twice, score and get his goal disallowed since it's a violation. It can only be Mitrovic, right?  Cheesy  Jokes aside, this is his third missed penalty of the year, a real possibility he does not take the next one. Pereira scored one while he was injured, guess something to monitor going forward. Almost everyone missed on his 15-point haul vs. Palace in gw17, after that, two missed pens, a yellow to miss on his dgw, and one goal. Eventful! Lol

Speaking of yellow cards, those with Kane, Saka, Trippier, and some other popular names who were on 4 yellows...all survived, cards should be cleared after this round

With the numbers of clean sheet Arsenal and Newcastle have had so far this season, I think it's high time I get a couple more from them simply because this was supposed to be their toughest stretch and yet they've kept it clean versus both Newcastle and now Tottenham, If they can keep Manchester United at bay too which is their next fixture, I see no reason why I shouldn't at least one defender from them for remainder of the season, maybe when I choose to play my wildcard, I'll go that route.

I still have quite some hope to make something off this game week, because of the second games, Haaland should be make his mark against Tottenham, an hattrick ?
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: January 15, 2023, 03:29:02 PM
To be honest, I'm a little upset... I used the triple captain's chip because Haaland had a rest before the game against United, moreover, he had a rest during the World Cup and hadn't scored in a long time. I sincerely thought that Man City would try to catch up with Arsenal on points this game week and expected that Haaland would score at least three goals this week.  Cry

Haaland by the end of the game week might still end up with more points than Rashford, we both know all it takes him is some relatively good 30 minutes or so to make his mark, but I'm rather very upset with how imbalance the City chemistry looks somewhat typical to the Belgium in the world cup, all great players and names and no form of cohesion whatsoever between highly disrupted, and that's literally all thanks Guardiola's tinkering tactics, I duly wonder the next time City will score up to 3-4 goals again this season, because it might never happen.

Akanji is Pep's new perfect CB; he has played 90 minutes in 10 fixtures in the last 12 EPL games, averaging 6 points. I'm sure he'll play a big role in the upcoming games; he's been really impressive in the games he's played this season, and Pep would be crazy to dump him now. Did you hear what Pep said after the game against Chelsea about Lewis? The team was in shambles until he arrived, and Pep stated that he made others better. Another Pep golden egg, his making another Oleksandr Zinchenko to milk money for the team.
Well Akanji is playing today but I am thinking it is just because Stones is out.

In other news Pep strikes again. How many of you got rid of Foden/Cancelo/Walker? Good news, they are all in first 11  Grin I just knew it that it isn't worth it to sell Foden for a hit before the double. Of course I would rather have Mahrez looking at recent form but this could be the game week when it all turns around in perfect Pep fashion. This is now second serious game City plays and second start for all three of them, maybe Pep just keeps them for toughest challenges.

Or far more likely, it is how his serials dropped in the bowl this morning  Grin

I went with Nathan Ake, I was very confident he was going to play even if Stones was available, imo he's probably Guardiola favorite City defender now, especially due to how composed he is with the ball at his feet and the way he positions himself and passing abilities.

Oh well oh well! the only thing I'm somewhat looking forward to is to read as @Hhampuz share a story him winning thousands of USD with this Man Utd win and Man Utd to win plus both teams to score, just like he did when Liverpool were defeated by Man Utd earlier into the season.

_____________

By the how in this world of football was the first goal not ruled out for offside Huh and VAR never even came to into play or gave any suggestion to the referee, but from what of those Supersports analyst said, "the referee could have rejected the help from VAR, and his decision is final as we all know", imo, given the caliber of this game, the referee really should own up to this huge flaw.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 04:03:17 AM
Juve had only kept one clean sheet in their previous visits to Napoli in the past 25 years, so keeping one tonight (despite their run since October) was never an option imo. Juve looked like a random Serie C / Primavera team taking on the big boys lol. That was a statement game for Napoli and their title aspirations. Osimhen and Kvaradona are a joy to watch, currently ranking first and second in Serie A in goals + assists. I sincerely hope they keep their top striker throughout the winter transfer window and make a deep run in the Champions League, that would be special for them and their fans. Also, nothing better than cashing in on Juve's misery  Cheesy

Nice wins mate, congratulations!

I agree that Juventus have got a little significant run for themselves and their defensive record over that stretch is one worthy of acknowledging, but I still believed that they were going to be of no match against Napoli, It was a total demolition and that has probably sent Juventus a couple of steps back towards their reincarnation.

Osimhen is an absolutely fantastic, I really hope Napoli will keep him for a long period, because I think he's going to struggle a lot in any other league if he leaves Napoli too early.

One question when do you know you win? you are following the matchs? or made the bet and see later?

The truth is I was following a different ticket, but regardless whether I placed a bet or not, I'm always watching NBA games daily so I wasn't particularly following the betslip, but both Dallas vs Lakers and Blazers vs Cavaliers game were late fixtures, so I decided to check if any of my betslip was still actually active, and to my surprise it was and it was nervy for me to watch the remaining to games.

How many legs was this and what was the lowest/highest odds on a single game?

cc: @LFC_Bitcoin Shocked

I believe the biggest odds was around 4.85 or thereabout, I really can't remember.

It was just 6 games boosted, but with almost every player from each team as a betbulder options, I've tried this a lot of time and I fall short sometimes by 6-13 players, I'm sure those familiar with NBA players props would understand better.

here is the list of the entire bet slip;

I believe my name might come up in Sportsbet at some point during the month for the parlay I won, I'm not sure if any other person have won such this new year on a sport bet, it's a whooping 1,213 odds, while I was enjoying watch NBA matches little did I know why weekend was going to start on a bright side, now I'm looking forward to what the weekend entirely has in store for me..

Here is my slip, it's actually a long slip so it'd have been an eye sore share the whole slip, but below is the Odds, and form of motivation to others, having @buwaytress in mind, that the odds will at some point be in your favor!

with all said, it is tempting to take @5 Chelsea to win, solid value in that looking at play in first half, Chelsea brought some play on the table, and Fulham just scored

I took Chelsea to win after Fulham scored though but the current score is 2-1 for Fulham, yikes Chelsea is so bad. on top of that, Joao Felis is such a joke though  Roll Eyes Debut match and ended up getting red card. Things just couldnt get better for chelsea at this point

In my opinion Joao Felix was rather just very unlucky with his tackle, because it was clear as day very unintended, and before the unfortunate incident he was the best Chelsea player on the pitch, so I can't help but feel for him, aside that Chelsea were absolutely shit, and every single player in their midfield should just be replaced, what the hell ?! Maybe indeed there is a curse on the club, because even the players they brought in to help make their situation have either turned out for the worse or sidelined with an injury.

I didn't have much bet spreads or ML to go with for today, I went with a couple of betbuilder parlays, and I literally just hit the biggest odds of my life as a gambler, I've never hit such an odd before my biggest should be around 400-500 on football, but getting a 100 odds parlay hit these days is already hard a task enough, but I just hit 1,200+ Odds on Sportsbet, too bad I didn't task stake much on it, it's still a very significant hit for me, ngl!

The bet should probably get settled within the hour  Cheesy

OMG. Juan Felix in the starting lineup.

From a dream start to nightmare, Joao Felix was having a great game and playing very decent, but just one wrongly mistimed tackle ruined what could have been a dream debut turned to probably one of his worse night, but I'm sure he'd be over it.

I'm official out of the global cup  Angry, And It's thanks to Mitrovic, the potential 5 points I lost from him was the only why I got eliminated.

~snip
He STARTs!!! I never imagined we'd be this bad and desperate, to the point where a player who arrived less than 78 hours ago is starting for us.

it is a desperate move, but in line with Chelsea scores lately, which puts them as main subject of Troll Football on Twitter
nevertheless, I think that Chelsea is going to win tonight, in a mid-table derby with Fulham

but not sure that Joao is going to have massive role in a win, if that happens

I was surprised to see Felix starting the game because I learnt that he picked up a knock in training or something of such, I'm of the opinion that Joao Felix will slot perfectly into Potter's plans and will be very vital in the coming games, but of course I might be wrong because premier league is completely different from what and the leagues he's been used to.

From the lineup, I think Chelsea's team still looks like the better team on paper, should get a win... I had 2-0 for Chelsea initially, before changing to 2-1 about an hour ago, but now I'm going to to revert back to my 2-0 prediction, Koulibaly and Thiago Silva pairing and Mitrovic absence is the final criteria for my decision.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 12, 2023, 06:52:33 PM

What I feel like could really be value is Fullham draw no bet at 2.85 vs a Chesea squad which might have lost its identity.

Most likely that draw no bet should be 1.85 as the odd for Fulham to win is 3.50 or 3.30 in some places so it does not make a lot of sense placing draw no bet at 2.85,

^  I'm looking at the lines at Stake rn.  It's 2.85 for draw no bet and 4.10 to win for Fulham.  I think it was even at 2.95 yesterday.  You can check it out.

https://stake.com/sports/soccer/england/premier-league/43202450-fulham-fc-chelsea-fc

And I think you got it the other way around.  If the other books have Fulham at 3.50 and you find a spot at 4.10 then you should def take the spot if you fancy Fulham to win.  It's extra value.

Anyway, how good is Joao Felix?  Wasn't he signed by Atletico for a ridiculous amount?  And if so, why is he loaned out to Chelsea?  :/

I'm probably the only one backing Chelsea to win the against Fulham and having a bet on them, because I strongly feel that the barely above 2 odds is of significant value, despite Chelsea being plagued by injuries and their injury list will even make a decent team, and for Joao Felix too, he wouldn't be available, because I learnt he got injured in training.

The first positive for Chelsea is that Mitrovic is out, and that's Fulham's biggest goal threat, he's accountable for over 36% of all Fulham goals this season.

Joao Felix is not going to last at Atletico Madrid imo, I think they're literally going to sell him once the right offer arrives, probably in the coming summer, and Felix  himself isn't enjoying life in the club.
