Maybe we see Leonardo Bonucci playing for Roma soon After Juvetos said they don't need Leonardo Bonucci anymore and Alegri doesn't want to keep working with his old and experienced defender, Bonucci got many offers, especially from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. But this 36y old defender wants to stay in Italy and maybe he will join Roma and he can become their next captain and wear the captain armband.

Age might have caught up with Leonardo Bonucci, but I really don't believe his performance has dropped below reasonable par for him to be surplus to requirement, he might be quite a burden on the pitch due to his age and probable injuries, but his experience in the dressing room is going to be invaluable for the defensive line up and younger players, If Thiago Silva is still performing at top level, I see no reason why Bonucci should froze out of a team with not even an incredible backline.

It's not looking good for me right now, karrigan became totally unstoppable, and helped FaZe eliminated Liquid quite easily, a team beat the just 3 days ago, but it's a totally new affair today, Team Liquid couldn't really get it going even in the second map which was their own pick. If I add that to Tour de France most probable result, I'm in 2 points disadvantage already, is there any way to really beat this guy, huh jeremypwr ?

I really didn't have the best of luck with betting on Wimbledon open, but it's been quite a decent run for me with Gastad, Bastad and Newport tour for the past few days, I hope I can keep the streak going.

Holger Rune still showing his high level of inconsistency, smh. I don't think these guys can stand the test of time if they can't stay consistent for just few month without falling off badly Shocked

Barcelona spent too much in the past and that's why they have many financial issues in their teams which is the reason for them to sell some players. But recently they tried to spend less money and don't hire expensive players, that's why they could hire Messi for the next season. But I think they will try even harder to buy Bernardo Silva from Manchester City if they really want to make it happen.
The main reason why Leo Messi deal collapsed with Barcelona was simply because of the finances challenges they faxed, and Messi was certainly not ready to keep battling to make a way through a club that's experiencing such. Barcelona took a significant hit from FFP rules, violating them and being penalised, as well as facing restrictions on key important transfer market components. The bluagrana have really suffered the feat of their previous results, which has been hunting them in every transfer window. In terms of trends, the blaugrana have managed to relax several constraints while also regularizing the club's financial budget. After successfully luring IIkay Gundogan to Camp Nou this summer, Barcà president Joan Laporta announced his ambition to sign Bernando Silva from Manchester City.

Lionel Messi's return to Barcelona is a deal I never wanted materialize and I'm glad it didn't working, Barcelona would have taken step backwards if Lionel Messi had return to Barcelona because the team would have returned to Messi reliance yet again and it would have been a problem whenever he's retiring or quitting football generally.

And Barcelona-Messi didn't work out not because of FFP regulations, Lionel Messi was a free agent and so there wouldn't have been any signing fee, but his wages is not something Barcelona can afford according to La Liga rules, so it would have been impossible for Barcelona to register him in accordance to La Liga restrictions and rules.

1. Brighton
Nothing sound better than banking on a team with significant potential, I believe their performance would not drop from that of last season.

2. Manchester City
Man City are gaining more fans, getting more exposure globally each year and they would be competing on much more competition that any other team from the PL this year, European Supercup and the FIFA Club World Cup, these competitions are going to bring an extra publicity to Sportsbet.io too imo.

3. Barcelona
My favorite team, and my favorite Sportsbook, nothing sounds better!

4. Southampton vs Middlesbrough
They used to be a team I love when they were still in the Premier League, before their relegation some years ago, should be around 8 years now, if I'm not mistaken.

VAR qustion 7
Old ansewr: asterlis
New ansewr: Vitality, Heroic, Liquid

You're too late buddy!

That's not how the VAR works bro, even if it is, Vitality have also been being dropped, NIP won the Grand final of Group A over Vitality earlier today.

Below in quote is how the VAR system works, so you still needed to send your new answers before the initial round deadline.

Quote
VAR rules: (29.6.2023)
-  Can be used to change answers in any round before that round's deadline
-  Can be used 3 times per season (2 times for season 2)
-  Send us your desired changes over PM or write in the thread and tag both Trofo & Cryptofrka, this is up to your discretion. If you trust us, better use PM to not clog the thread and give possible info to others. If you are playing against us maybe it is better to post in thread to avoid possible frictions
-  After you spend your challenges don't come and ask for more, whatever happens there are no more changes left for you

Very very strange to see a team like Ferencvaros losing at this stage of Pre Champions League and against this low level team, man a team from FAROE ISLANDS, they are not a country.
~snip

didn't expect that from Fradi at all, they should win this one easily, even considering they conceived early goal
but it happened
i knew I had YES as answer, basically only thought about Slovan, and they have only one lose in last 14 away matches in international competitions, but Fradi was a really unexpected loser today

Slovan is up 0:2 and they will eventually pass
congrats to all that picked NO

I'm still in awe man! Of all the teams in question I never imagined it being Ferencvaros to be the team decide the fate of the question, I'm sure whoever set the question, be it Trofo or Cryptofrka wouldn't have either, I saw there were a couple of tough fixture but most of them have an advantage from the first leg that's why I went with Yes.

And elsewhere; in CSGO Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) seeing out Vitaly in just 2 maps is another huge blow for me today, but I'm alright with that, since it's a majority pick alongside my opponent.

I knew Slovan Bristislava was an easy value bet, and I'm glad to have been able to make something off the fixture  Wink

An update for those of you who don't follow the Tour de France, Vindegaard leads by 7 minutes and 35 seconds now. Pogacar fell on the bike today which made him lose some time on it..

Too bad for me  Sad Sad

Here is another bombshell, for those that went with all favorites to qualify for the UCL next round of qualifications, the most favorable team to proposed to have made it easily is losing out by the widest margin of them all right now  Sad

Hey fellas, back from the trip.

On a happy note, I started well with BATE Borisov. But then again, so did most of us.

welcome back!

I expected most users familiar with the team to go with BATE Borisov, the ML for them @ 2.60+ was an early new week gift from the Sportbook, I just couldn't take proper advantage of it  Huh now Slovan Bratislava ML @ 1.92 Odds for later today also seem to me like a good value bet, don't you think ?

Looks like I'm also setup for a stellar week, I going for 9-10/10, y'all watch out  Cheesy

Joao Felix stated that it has been his childhood dream to play for Barcelona. Therefore he sees joining Barcelona as priority now. You know that he has been willing to leave Atletico Madrid lately. But there isn't any offer for him yet. I have heard Atletico Madrid are overpricing him like 100 million euros despite his current market price.

I don't feel like there will be any team to pay that price for Felix. Because I don't think we have seen a performance worth that much from him these days. He dreams of playing for Barcelona maybe but it isn't possible for Barcelona to make a that big signing this summer even if they would also like to have him.

I don't think any club will sign Felix for 100 million most certainly not Barcelona. He won't succeed at Barcelona even if he goes there. Barcelona don't play the type of football where a player like Felix will shine. Felix explodes behind the striker an Barcelona don't have that type of role. That's the same problem Griezmann had at Barcelona.

If Barcelona had that type of money to spend on a player they would have gotten Benardo Silva and Cancelo. Cancelo is a players that plays a position that Barca really need to fill before the season starts. But the deal is getting complicated because of the price Manchester City want for Cancelo despite being expelled from the team.
Bernardo Silva on the other hand is a player that have always shown his love fr Barcelona and Barcelona's head coach Xavi loves him too but they have not been able to make the deal happen because of funds.
It's okay for Joao Felix to fantasize about playing for Barca but it won't happen and it will be for his own good, plus, he isn't worth that much anyway.

Joao Felix definitely is Barcelona style of player and he would fit right into a club such as Barcelona, but should Barcelona make a bid or move for him, absolutely no! There are more than enough players that plays the positions that Joao Felix could be used for within the squad that barely even getting playing time not because they are terrible, but because football is about every fielding their best 11 players, and no more at a time. Barcelona doesn’t have such amount to spend on any player right now, and even if out of nowhere they are able make a 100m+ signing, it sure would not be Joao Felix in this current transfer window.

Alvaro Morata's agents were in Milan today and had a meeting with the Inter management.
It seems that an agreement has been found with the player, now they just have to find an agreement with Atletico Madrid.
The player has a release clause of 21 million but the inter only wants to pay 15

Might not be a terrible deal for Atletico Madrid unless Diego Simeone has plans for him for the upcoming season, and as a matter of fact I'm very strong with the opinion that Morata would slot right in perfectly into the Inter Milan squad he's a better finisher that Lukaku in my opinion, of course Lukaku is the stronger player of both, while undeniably Morata has more flexibility and positioning as a typical center forward, and a potential pairing with Latauro Martinez upfront could pose a deadly duo threat for any defense line in Serie A, and could be a reincarnation of the Diego Milito and Samuel Eto striking partnership under Jose Mourinho during his time at Inter Milan.

I'm just not going to try to state the obvious that have been discussed over here already regarding users submitting late, I know it's a game of tactics and awareness sometimes we all need to wait a bit closer to the deadline to get extra information (and that's actually commendable showing a little bit of extra commitment rather than just entry random jargons, just like someone putting just "Astralis" question no. 7 answer, whereas, Astralis were already out of the picture before the question for the round was released) but at the same time of what use are all those information gathered if you eventually miss the deadline, and I understand it takes just a few minutes to get distracted and bang! you've missed the deadline.

As for myself, I often do submit my answers relatively on time except when I'm sure there are still other relevant information to get, but despite me having +1 hour advantage to the forum default time, I still set multiple alarms to remind me should incase I had get carried away buy a busy real life activities, and Here is an example of my alarm schedule for today of which the last alarm still gives me an hour of advantage to that of the forum's time

I just submitted my own predictions, I wanted to get some insights about some sports and CSGO, but I had my hands tied all so I had to take some unprecedented risks and blind guesses too, I would say.

I really might just let this round slip through my fingers again, given who I'm up against and lack of time to do my proper due diligence, but let's see what lady luck might have in store for me against all odds 🤞

with these varieties of questions coming up, only time will tell if I won't get relegated this season  Huh

You know, I was thinking the same thing the other day. It's much easier (at list I look at it that way) to predict result in a sport that you are familiar with. But when you have to do the research in a sport that you know nothing about, it's hard and it comes down to pure luck.

The only difference with sports you're familiar with is that sometimes you get a bit cocky, and you barely depend on research and can just tell like let's say it's football for instance, you know that a team is only have decent run of for form while you can decide that the form is just a fluke and confidently pick against them, however, for sports that you need to research on, it's usually a games of odds vs their form, and you really don't know if there is an important factor that could make them win or lose a game, we mostly just go with flow and trend.

I don't know... Look at me. In the last season I was invincible and in the season I have only one win if I remember correctly. I agree that some of you sport fanatics maybe get a little cocky when answering football questions but I don't follow sport that much (at least I didn't before this competititon), but somehow I always managed to win in the last season. Maybe it's just a matter of the "big boys" division this time so I'm up against the best Smiley Anyhow, I hope I don't get relegated in the first season in division 1 Smiley

I guess that mean my analogy is right because for most football question, I don't even open any sportbook to decide more often than not, the only time I usually do is when we are asked to guess the line up or the players to score a goal or make any an assist, but I can't complain because it put other opponents on their toes as well, and we can't rely on just a general analogy, we'll get more contrast responses for with these questions.

I'm really just looking to pick up points against opponents that are the potential favorites for the 1st position, and that's why it really is a must win affair for me versus jeremy, I'd say.

Jeremypwr submitted 2 questions, one for MMA and one for box. Thanks for that jeremy. That will probably be more than enough for upcoming week. We can't have multiple questions from fringe sports. Multiple questions are reserved for football and sometimes tennis. Everything else is usually limited on 1 question per week.

I knew that jeremy will likely have you covered with potential MMA and Boxing questions, now at least it shows everyone is getting a shot at selecting a sport of their choosing, and still not have any edge with it because they'll still have no clue with what the exact question would be.

/snip

regarding next week questions, there is a Waterpolo championship, and grand finale is next Sunday, so maybe it could be included
most probably many people not familiar with it, but I presume that Cro2 is following since you are good in that one

It's where people on horseback try to smack a ball with some kind of long stick, except splashing around in water, right?

No, waterpolo has nothing to do with horses Grin That's just polo. At least I think. But casperBGD is right... Waterpolo is a world championship and if we had cricket, I think that waterpolo needs at least one question for the finals. The sport is similar to football, the only thing different is that the ball is played by hands and it's in a pool (that's where the "water" in the name comes from). It's not very popular sport, but Croatia and some other European countries are quite good in it so we all know the sport.

with these varieties of questions coming up, only time will tell if I won't get relegated this season  Huh

Damn, but Djokovic still remains goated regardless of this outcome, I'm just glad that consistency and hard work paid off eventually for Carlos Alcaraz, well and duly deserved!

16 years apart and Djokovic still managed to put up epic match against Alcaraz. Well I guess youngsters are always better at some point especially when they are considered underdog against the favourite

Djokovic deserves every praise and flower he's gotten all these and even up until because, I'm very certain if he had played a different opponent today, it would have been a different story entirely.

That's that and now, here we are back to reality after a week of break from some of us here, for this week it's "jeremypwr vs Harkorede" for the league 6th Round fixture.

I have a score to settle with jeremypwr from last season, the defeat is still pretty fresh in my mind, so I'm coming for my revenge this week and nothing is going to stop me from getting back at him Cheesy

will be stopped, at least today, but he is getting closer to winning GS's in series
seems that Djokovic started changing gear and playing better, or at least using experience to get back into match

finishing off tough match was always the hardest thing

No! Definitely not to today bro!

Alcaraz have beaten the best of the best, and he's done it at the best of fashion, everyone expected him to fold after losing the the 4th set, but he came back very stronger.

6-1 for a 3rd set and 2-1 lead for Young King! I really don't know but I just can't wait!

Huge respect to Djokovic for everything he's represent over the years, but we need someone to takeover from him really! and here he comes like an earthquake, I just hope Alcaraz sees this through, really!
